The store could use some upgrades, and it was definitely scarce in there, but lets get to the good stuff.I came here initially just to browse and also price match because a sale was about to start. After working with Xavier, Im so thankful I came in. Xavier took the time to compare products, find the best price, the best products, and ensured that we would get the best possible deal. Genuinely I spent a lot of time with Xavier going over details that were important to my family regarding the appliances we were interested in.Sure we got the appliances we wanted and we still have to wait to see how delivery and installation goes, but I really wanted to take the time to honor and appreciate how patient, professional, supportive, and understanding Xavier was. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable, and Xavier assured me that there wouldnt be any rush or hassle.Thank you so much for making my experience smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated your time and support.
Today we had a microwave installed by Best Buy, and it was the best experience. Communication was excellent, the installers were friendly, efficient, and did an excellent job with the installation. This was the first time we used Best Buy for an appliance, have always used them for televisions, and definitely will use them again.
I went in this morning looking for a phone case and printer cartridges and left with a huge smile (in addition to my goods). Thank you Joey, Joseph, and Kameron for your impeccable customer service! I look forward to shopping here again soon.
The staff is very knowledgeable even if they don’t work directly in department you need help in. They might have more generalized knowledge if its not their department but they can point you to who has more information regarding a specific brand or product. You cannot call to the phone number and speak with a person at that store, it goes to a off site call center. The last time I tried to talk to someone at the store I was planning on visiting via phone I wasted a significant amount of time to only get hung up on by the gentleman who answered. The one good piece I got was the stores don’t get those calls anymore. The website is pretty accurate if your checking on stock or price. Geek Squad accident protection is 100 percent the way to go on the higher priced items, I won’t make the mistake I made for years by not getting it and covering something you couldn’t afford to replace warrants the additional piece of mind.
Brian in Electronics was so patient with us. Explaining TVs and laptops to a very a couple who are not up to date on all the apps. Appreciate all the assistance Brian gave us. Make our experience pleasant.
I purchased a brand new Samsung galaxy S21 Ultra cell phone here a few months ago and spent a whopping $1200 with insurance on the phone that I was told would allow me to get a new phone if anything happened to it or it was lost or stolen. The phone was defective and began having many problems after a few months and when I came to return it the customer service told me to go wait in line at the cell phone area. I told her I am not here to buy a plan I am here to return a defective product they still tried to pass me off on the sales team. After me standing my ground the employee theaid they get off 8n 5 minutes and didnt have time to help then the next girl who came to me said she gets off in 10 minutes and didnt want want help. So I proceeded to wait for 30 minutes by myself as the manager supposedly the only person. In the giant store that was qualified to return a phone was busy in an interview. They tried to make me use my insurance the first time I came about a month prior and said it was going to cost me an additional $250 to use my insurance to get my phone replaced. That is why I had come in today is because I have a defective cell phone and I didnt feel I should even have to use my insurance that I purchased but especially not pay an additional 250 on top of the 220 I paid for insurance when I bought the phone for $1000. I am still waiting in line 40 minutes later and the issue is far from resolved. Do yourself a favor and buy your phones some place else. They are all too happy to help you spend your hard earned money on bad devices but they dont want to help you at all when there is any issue.
Best Buy Avon and Best Buy Carmel. I went to Carmel first and they didnt have what I needed. But they had people walking around and not asking if I needed help so I asked for help and the girl said do you need help with something Ummm yeah thats why I...anyway. She acted as if I wanted to inquire about something after I already said I wanted to make a purchase. The young lady that helped was sweet. She directed me to the Avon location and made sure they had what I needed. I made it to Avon and got the item I needed within 2 minutes AWESOME!Then I asked the young man if he could suggest a gift for a bday gift for a man and he just looked at his watch suggested one thing that wasnt even in stock and made it clear he just was not going to help. As a matter of fact none of the people in the store were going to help. I gave up and went to the register and had trouble ringing out. Now I am being informed because I am making a lease purchase I have to spend more money. Apparently Im not putting myself in enough debt! I looked around the store until 10 after closing and ended up having to purchase 2 of the exact same item because everything that I wouldve gotten was not in stock. As a matter of fact the store was almost empty except for models, appliances, and workers not willing to assist customers. I liked my purchase but I didnt want to buy two.Im conflicted...3 stars for the girl and the item (1.5 each).
Help!! Having the worst experience with my purchases. Recently I purchased a gas range to replace my 20 year old electric range that was still working, although ugly! The range was delivered to my home on 9/20 and still packaged. My plumber installed it on 9/21. It was dented. Even worse, the range door was locked open (meaning it wouldnt fully close and therefore was unusable). Lots of calls to both LG as well as Best Buy Geek Squad to make range door operable, but no success. I was told the range was on back order and it would be 5 weeks to receive a new one. I said that was unacceptable. Then magically, they had a new range they would deliver on 9/20. Delivery arrived and the new range was smashed in. they took the new one away and left me with the one with the door locked open. Was then told it would be 1-1/2 months to get a new one. (on back order). Lots of calls and frustration because no one at Best Buy takes any responsibility on anything. You will sit in a black hole forever if you dont take responsibility for what is or is not going to happen! We came up with another range that was acceptable to me. New deliver scheduled for 9/27. They delivered the range but had the wrong hook-up kit, so its sitting unusable in my kitchen. Additionally the delivery guy (in removing the other range) made multiple dents and scratches to my door. I pointed it out to him and he took zero responsibility. Through Best Buy I was given the name of their insurance company for damage and told that I would need to file a claim. There were several pieces of information I couldnt provide in the claim (like the delivery employees ID, Sv order #, serial number, etc). These items are required to file a claim. No one will help and Im on my own! Best Buy has my money. I dont have a working appliance and they beat up my door. This has been the worst experience and Im left hanging! Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Nobody can do anything. And it appears no one cares!
Terrible service despite having purchased the annual Geek Squad plan with the 2-in-1 computer, ultra wide monitor etc. Products and prices are fine especially with price matching and occasional sales. It’s best to buy gadgets from here that only barely need maintenance. Frustrated.

The TV selection is unmatched at the Clay Terrace location. Lots of open box deals and every higher end model currently available with chip shortages. So if you want a base model go to Walmart, but if you want the best, Best buy is the place.
My old laptop died, and they were very helpful selecting a new laptop. Besides, the Geek Squad was very helpful transferring files from my old hard drive to my new laptop.
Great customer service, staff is always very friendly while displaying pleasant and professional attitudes and knowledge of the industry and their products. These qualities are sadly a rarity most days for many stores like this that focus on a specific industry and should be at the top of their game when it comes to the staff being trained properly in order to serve the customers ensuring that they always leave their customer satisfied with the quality and attributes of their newly purchased product because they had management that truly molded them into assets and displayed all the best qualities of true leadership. Great job Best Buy. I believe in giving praise where it is due in hopes that they will continue to be an envied example for other struggling businesses who have no idea what it means to have excellent customer service skills to have and hold a thriving business for many years. Stay humbled people:)
The staff was very helpful and friendly. I wanted to see if I could try on the earbuds I wanted to buy, but that didnt seem like a possibility. If they had any in stock I probably would have picked one up, but they did not.

Im a bit agitated w Best Buy. My JBL speaker wont charge. I took it to BB to see if they could plug it in for me to see if the charger is the problem before I ordered one online. I wanted to go that route before ordering then having to return the charger if its the speaker itself. They didnt have a charger in the store to fit the speaker and would not open a JBL box to use the charger for 10 seconds. Really not happy w that service. I could be looking at this wrong but rather then ordering, waiting on the delivery then possibly returning I feel I would be saving time for myself, Amazon services & banking credits if they could have gone one more step for me.
Employees there were super helpful for both security system shopping and browsing refrigerators. Also, an employee handled a mask situation with such grace and while the customer was rude and verbally aggressive, I have never seen an employee handle a situation with such poise. Thanks for helping us stay safe and healthy!

Pretty decent experience the Best Buy in Carmel. The appliance election is not as good as Castleton but the people are friendly. I was asked 3 times how I can be helped. The staff was very nice and I would leave five stars except I didnt think the bathroom was as clean as it could have been and they did not have what I was looking for.

Trouble with card given for store credit. Returned to store for assistance and they said must call 1888 Best Buy. 1888 Best Buy can’t find the card number in the system and said I must contact the store. I called the store and can not reach a live person. Been on hold 30 minutes so far..... may have to drive back to the store. $50 says they’ll refer me back to the phone line

Dont do business here. I attempted to return an item that sat on my shelf for longer than the 15 day return policy. The package was in perfect condition and all of the items inside were still in the plastic; I had a receipt. I had a duplicate item and wanted to return this to purchase another accessory for my Sirius radio, spending even more in the process. The lady at the customer service desk was nice and tried to help me but the manager (who wouldnt come over and just spoke to her on the phone) denied my request to return the item. I suppose this location takes care of their policies more than their customers.

I received a friendly welcome when I entered and I went right to where I needed to buy my merchandise. A lot of the shelves had many empty pegs and spaces however. Not many customers so of course there were not many employees. But the store was clean and bright and well-marked and the staff was friendly the checkout was quick and easy and the Checker was very friendly and helpful. Very good experience.
Bought a washer for delivery, was given a 6 hour window for delivery. Took time off work to be home to get a call 7 hrs later that they would deliver in 30 minutes. An hour later I called and was told the delivery was unable to be made due to unable to complete all services. There was no effort put forth to notify me that my washer would not be delivered. Now without washer and customer service has no resolution but to ask me to take more time off work to wait for what may or may not be delivered. If you want your products I would not recommend their delivery service.

Not pleased.Purchased items in a bundle. Sales rep grabbed a wrong package/item. I discovered error 2 hrs later.It was not a quick exchange. Needed manager assistance plus I had to pay upcharge for correct item.
Was having issues with Verizon and AT&T. We switched our carriers from Verizon to AT&T with Best Buy back in November and for some odd reason we were getting billed by Verizon even though we had cancelled our plan with them. Anyway, Valeed Ahmed was super sweet, patient, and awesome in trying to help us out..We highly recommend Valeed for any issue you might have. We are so happy with his service. Thank you Valeed!!!
Is this Best Buy going to do anything about the excessive reports of unacceptable customer service? I was ready to drop 1K on a new laptop, and my decision to forgo purchasing from Best Buy is entirely based on one employee who made us feel incredibly unwelcome and disrespected(Tyler, on the evening of 2/13/21). I realize my measly money isn’t much in the big picture but everyone else’s reviews on other platforms and Facebook seem to reflect the same kind of treatment we received. It wasn’t a one off. We are never greeted or offered assistance when we come in and we’re almost always there for a very specific product or service. It’s actually a game for us at this point...to see who will actually be offered help or can find adequate help first. In our most recent visit we were walked past by several employees and cliques of employees talking, but it took 27 minutes before anyone even said hello.
No place Id rather purchase a phone. The crew there is so helpful and they go above and beyond. They spent an entire morning helping my elderly parents with new phones, loading apps, explaining the phones and helping them get discounts.Christian and Valeed are amazing!Joey in Smart Home is awesome too!

I wish I knew the name of the woman who really helped make everything happen, but I wasnt paying enough attention at the time. She was smart, capable, and definitely knew what she was doing. The store was well staffed, clean, and people were actually smiling. I would happily shop here again and will take my phone back here if I ever need any service help.

Would avoid at all costs. Very rude employee, Vincent, flowed by rude management, Jill. Not much into the holiday spirit. Shelves in store are pretty much bare. Would highly recommend taking business elsewhere!
Needs help with pick up service
The associate who helped us told me that an open box TV was a good deal and then I found out less than an hour after purchasing it that the newer model of the exact same TV was on sale at Best Buy for $20 less than what I paid for the older version. It also took over thirty minutes to get checked out and the service was terrible. I went to the Avon Best Buy the next day where I was able to quickly exchange my TV for the newer, better, and less expensive TV. Unlike this store, Avon had great service despite being busy.
Best Buy Carmel they have done fraud with us while selling iPhone 8 that it’s unlocked but it came out to be locked and it was one time payment they were just taking commission while making good points. And when we came to the store today they said talk to your carriers for unlocking the iPhone. They say something else but it comes out to be something else On Saturday shift manager Male and female both were very rude. They just do fraud with customers when we were buying iPhone the seller he did not tell us about the universal unlocked and the only unlocked it was Best Buy fault. They said any carrier will work in the iPhone. They did not solve the problem we were standing whole 6 hours in the store. We have been in the loss while giving $900 to seller.

I would give this a 0 star review if I could. I’ve been waiting weeks for my Apple Pencil to arrive at the store for curbside pickup. At first it said to pick it up the day I got it. Never got a message. Then a week passed and it said I should pick it up on Friday. No email or message. Now it’s saying something is wrong with my package and that they don’t know where it is. Horrible service. I won’t be shopping with them again anytime soon.
Cell phone manager was a real treat. Took daughter in for new phone and got NOTHING but lip service and two dozen ways to help me pay more for...everything. Math is universal and simple math really isnt over the heads of many people. I suspect his tactic is to barage you with so much smoke that you relent eventually just to get the phone and get out!It saddens me that when I mentioned this to others in his chain of command that I was advised the guy is considered exceptional at his work...havent been back...will not be back...and thats uncool.
We come here often to purchase electronics and miscellaneous items. The staff is very professional and kind. They greet you at the door, make sure you find what you need and thank you on your way out. Prices are reasonable but could be more competitive.For reviewers, I have a question... we were here to buy electronic gifts and 12, Visa gift cards, however, were told that per policy we could only purchase 3 per person due to “money laundering” issues. Manager was there and was kind/professional about it. The computer was only able to ring up 3 cards as well. I’ve never heard of this but felt this was pretty weird. Is this usual for Best Buy? And I don’t understand how the money laundering works?! A lady who was next to us, checking out, thought it was quite unusual as well. Well, any how, we were able to purchase 12, $50 Visa gift cards at a Kroger.

They price match Micro Center! I think its a judgment call on the managers part tho as he was debating accepting the match. The price under cut best buy by nearly 60%. Most of my tech shopping is done online and use the store as a pick up location. The prices are higher than what you can find online and Micro Center beats them everyday of the week so try and get a price match going.
The service is below average. i asked a rep if they had a particular item and he said i dont know and did not proceed to try to find out if it was available or if any of his coworkers knew more. A disappointing experience. Great selection of items and a decent store layout was helpful.

4 stars only because weve had a few stereotypical salesman that are less than great. But we do all of our appliance, television & cell phone shopping @ this store. Anything less than great service deserves Manager Jills attention. We have worked with her more than anyone else at this store. Shes amazing.
Its Best Buy, you know they have good quality products but wheres the customer service? I try and look lost to see how long it takes to get help and it was over 30 minutes with at least 7-8 employees walking past me before I got anyone to ask if I needed help.. decent sale price on the Blink Xt2 home security camera system, 5 cameras for $291
