My family and I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, with three separate staff members asking us about our food after we purchased and sat down. The menu is entirely vegetarian and was delicious. We were very unfamiliar with the cuisine and asked the staff member to choose food for us. We were very satisfied with our smorgasbord. Yummy!
If into Indian sweets and snacks, then this is definitely the place to be.Loved their jalebis.
Excellent vegetarian food! Someone said to me, its not that tasty. I dont know what the hell they had. I have had both chats and THALI!Best THALI ever! Too good, butter roti, three curries, that too special ones like butter paneer, aloo gobi, kadi! Rice and lemon pickles and pakodas and sweet! !Worth every pennyPresentation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Quality/Taste ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Ambiance ⭐⭐⭐⭐Value for money ⭐⭐⭐⭐Overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing food, especially sweets are too good. Love chole bhature and veg thali. Staff is also very sweet. Definitely must try.
We ordered three items from the menu to go. After we arrived at the store the cashier says that they were out of one of our items. No courtesy call to let us know they would be out or to ask if we wanted something else instead. One of our party then had to order from a different restaurant. The three stars are only for the food cause its good.
Excellent food and polite staff. We catered malai kofta, paneer makhani, Naan and gulab jamun for my sons birthday. The food was fresh, great tasting and in great quantities. The owner Rakeshji is very nice and courteous gentlemen who kept in close contact with us to ensure no delays happened and gave us a followup call later. Thanks very much for making our sons birthday great.
Sweets are damn good and Samossa. Samossa is the best in US in this shop
There service is horrible. They take forever to take your order and bring it to you. Customer service is not good. They really dont care about you at all and just want your money. The mitthai is very good but we will never come here because of this.
Bad customer service.. not going there ever!We used to go there all the time since they opened the store. (With friends and family). Today when we went there and ordered Paw vaji for my daughter. They told it may take 20 min maximum. We were sitting there for so long more than 40 minutes, but they didnt bring the food at all. Everyone (whoever even came after us- exactly 2 batches of people) everyone came, ate and went away. We were still waiting and waiting! Then when the food came, we asked About the author kept saying- it happened, so what can we do now? He was arguing all the time and said-he has other works to do- I felt they didnt even care about the fact that we were frustrated. Another fact, we were the only people not Indian there.. I dont know if they racially profiled us or not! But this is completely frustrating.. even though I liked their food, only because of this customer service and the owners behavior-we are never going to this place! Maybe they dont even care but this is how you lose your loyal and regular customer.. so frustrated!
Friend bought me food to try, was extremely satisfying and well spiced
This is the best place for veg food in the area, my rec for getting to go food is to get a thumbs up or limca from Patel Brothers next door.
This is another cafe kind of place where you can get fresh sweets and some snack items.we had vada pav and samosa Chaat....both were good. Vada pav wasnt authentic but tasty. Although I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with their service. We were told on our first visit that they make jalebi on weekends including Friday and then when we called them they said they make it on Saturday and Sunday. We called them twice on Sunday before leaving and confirmed that they have Jalebi and we tried to place order on phone and still when we reached they said its finished. Extremely awful communication and they dont really care about the customer and not they want to do more business clearly. We wanted to try so that we can do catering with them for our sons birthday but definitely not going there again.
This place serves authentic North Indian vegetarian food and their snacks (samosa, paneer pakoras, Chole Bhature, etc) as well as Jalebi is super awesome!Note that they make fresh Jalebis in the evening (at least during weekends) and you should try them when they are piping hot!I have not tried their other sweets though.
Review: The food here is full of simplicity and definitely have a very homely taste. Not over spicy or over salty. Some of the milk sweets (Kalakand, Khoya Pedha, and a few more) are really one of the best that I have had in the past few years. Few dishes to try: Rajma Chawal, Bhel type snacks, Saag Paneer. You can also get Sugarcane juice and Jalebi (not the best but better than almost all others that I have tried in Raleigh/Cary) here sometimes.Things to expect: You can order at the counter and food will be served to you. You do have to collect spoons, napkins and water from the dedicated counter.
This place is amazing for vegetarians. My favorite place!!I love their Thali and almost every week I go there to have lunch even though it is 30 mins from my place.
Best food in Durham amazing people best customer service. People were kind and sweet.
Nice menu ….great taste also ….perfectly priced.
Indian sweets are really good, especially live Jilebi during weekend. Must try, really worth
Good TasteGood ServiceNeat and clean restaurant
Amazing place to have good quality Indian food. Place can be tight during weekend evenings but otherwise no waiting time. Papdi chat here is must for anyone looking to experience authentic Indian street food taste. Paneer tikka masala was very tasty with lot of flavors. We will definitely come back 😊😊
Love the food!!!Highly recommended if you are looking for Indian street food and best Sarso ka saag 😋
Vaishno bhog is my favorite vegetarian place to eat. I love their kadhi, saag paneer, chats and veg thali. Best home cooked meals you can find in the area. Their staff is awesome too, very warm and welcoming they try their best to accommodate your needs. Wish they had another location near west Cary!
Terrible food! Plain paratha was so oily and hard. You could hear it snap in pieces when I tried to pull some off.Aloo paratha had no potato only large chunks of ginger, some herbs and onions. Also extremely oily and hard. Chili paneer was literally covered in oil. We threw it away after only sampling one piece. Paneer tikka masala was yellow in color, tasted like oil and had zero spice.Pani Poori stuffing was dry dry. No onions or cilantro. Just dry hard potatoes, dry chickpeas and sweet water. Thankfully I carry my own chaat masala and that added some flavor. If you’re looking for some good spots in Raleigh area, Udupi right up the street in Cary is by far the best vegetarian restaurant in the triangle and priced very reasonably.Pastries and Chaat is phenomenal as is Thali in Durham.
I had vada pav and veg spring rolls but both were not upto the standards. Vada pav stuffing tasted similar to Samosa stuffing, pav was buttered along with with onion and bhujia in it. Overall it tasted like samosa and dabeli mixture. Veg spring rolls were very bland.
I was driving by today and saw them making fresh jalebi. I got some to go...it was absolutely delicious! They said they make it every weekend. I will definitely be back for more.
Great food, their flavors have a unique profile compared to the other restaurants in the area. Would recommend to anyone, especially vegetarians.
Love their fresh jalebis.
This is my first time to Vaishno Bhog. I am a die hard fan of sweets. I tried a mix of sweet box to try it out, frankly didn’t like much. Only rasgulla was good, but milk burfies are not at all tasty. I roam around a lot of states, and try different things. If you have lived in north India, you know the taste of Doda Burfi, but here it’s not even close to the taste. Most of the sweets had lot of sugar in it. Haven’t tried the regular chat items, will go next time and try it out.
We went there first time, was just stopping by between the journey dinner. Very nice and yummy food. Customer service was very good and food was really delicious. We order Amirtsari kulcha and chole, aloo Parantha, malai kofta and samosa.
Worst shop, they are giving old stocks and we got kaju sweet which had fungus smell. One time we got laddu that also had black fungus spot. Horrible shop please dont buy stuffs here. 🥵
This is horrible place to make order. We order food for baby shower at 9:30 this joker never called to confirm in first place, second we called many times but he never picked up a phone. I WOULD RECOMMEND FOLKS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
Amazing, fresh and authentic Indian food for vegetarians.
Bad quality. Scanty quantity. Not worth the time and money.Stuffed paratha was extremely salty and bitter (overdose of cumin). There was hardly any stuffing inside.Dumplings were hard. Served without any sauce/chutney.
Perfect place to enjoy north indian cuisine. You can get 3 levels of spicy. I am generally spicy eater and this place is totally bliss for taste buds. They have wonderful chat options and sweet options. It is right in front of Patel brothers so best as a quick snack stop after weekly shoppings.Edit: Best place for sweets so far in Raleigh-Cary area. Milk based sweets like kalakand/ khoya pedha are very tasty and home-like.Food and hospitality have been improved a lot. Best for quick-bites or even for full lunch/dinner.
Weve been here twice since discovering the place, the food is delicious, and their staff is very friendly too! So far weve tried Samosa Chaat, Baingan Bharta, Papri Chaat, and it was all so very fresh and flavorful! We felt very comfortable with their covid safety protocols too. Highly recommend this place! I only wish we knew about them sooner...
I have had pav vaji and samosa chaat here, both were really good. The sweets they make are exceptional.
We purchased Dahi poori to goVery disappointed with to go service
Awesome finger licking Jalebi served hot and fresh!!!! 😋😋
Amazing Masala Tea. Must try!
Good indian delicacies
Dont like this please food taste not good really really
Samosa was good, but over priced thali and paneer paratha was ok.
Big Liars. They advertise Thali for $7.99 and when ordered charged $11. When asked they told $7.99 is only for Combo and they didn’t explain when ordered. And cold sabjis made previous or before days.
We loved the sweet items namely Anjeer ( fig ) barfi and punjabi pinni .
Great tasting vegetarian Indian.
Fresh Indian Sweets. The young gentleman that took our order was extremely knowledgable and friendly. He explained everything in the perfect manner so that we could understand everything and even made sure that everything was going smoothly on a very busy Saturday. I would definitely come back to this place. Customer Service was Excellent. I believe the person helping that was helping us his name started with a N
Its an OK chaat shop but if your here grab a sugarcane juice. It is such a great summer drink, very refreshing and yummy.
Good place for eating 😋 specially chat
Every time we came here always great Service... and Food is great always, and food is always made by Binita Patel. I enjoy their taste food each I came at Vaishno Bhog. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone.Awesome Food...😋😋
Must try the rasagulla . . You wont be able to differentiate between this and what you get in India . . Other sweets are also very good. . And the samosas are large and well made . . Overall good place . . Would recommend . .
Very Delicious food and definitely will go again
You should really check this place out. They have great north indian taste. Anything you order here has a superb taste. An Authentic Indian Taste..!!
Amazing place for some hot jalebi
Excellent food
Pure vegetarian restaurant. I go there all the time.
If I could, I would give you zero stars, terrible food with terrible service, I would never go there, or I would never suggest this place to anybody; there are other 30+ Indian restaurants in the area
$1.50 for a samosa. Okay no problem. Ordered 2. One for me and other for my dad. They gave 2 samosa in same and small paper dish with chutney for one dish/samosa. Also chutney in very small cup where you cant fit your samosa.
Food is great, most of the food made by Binita Patel. I enjoy their taste food each and every time. Definitely I would recommend this place to everyone.Awesome Food :)
Staff is good and welcoming. I ordered spring rolls, samosa, mango lassi, samosa and coffee. Everything tastes good and sweets are excellent!
I cant say enough about this place. The Sweets were fresh, and made right in kitchen in the back. The staff is wonderful and best of all this place is right here in Cary. I will definitely be back to try the other food that you offer.
I got to say that they have a great traditional deserts. Our friend brought for us as a gift a box of variety and we pretty much fished everything in one setting with some tea :)
Worst customer service big time Cheater!!!He Nickel & dimes for money!!He tries to over charge customers on purposely,& he uses less ingredients to save on cost
Just ate some of their Samoas. Delicious. Place was spotless inside the staff was a pleasure. Ill be back for sure 👍
Best samosa chat.
A must try. They have revamped the entire menu with more options and new dishes. Their service is amazing and food is just as good. I tried a few Mithai and they were spot on as well.
Terrible microwave heated food. Never going back.
Tried their plain Parathas and Besan ladoos, to go. Best ever plain parathas in the area IMHO. They looked and tasted like freshly made. They do take some time(it can take anywhere between 20-40 mins depending on how busy the kitchen is) but it was worth it. The joy of plain Parathas, Yoghurt and pickles... yum !
Excellent Mithai and Indian Snacks. Good Service. Perfect Location. Keep up the Great Work
I placed a 10 lb jalebi order and on the day for pick up they didn’t remember my order or the price we had discussed. I ended up leaving with 8 lbs of jalebi.... they gave me everything they had on hand in the shop. All of this would still be “okay” if the jalebi wasn’t so dry. Overall, very disappointed in the service and product. I would not recommend.
Pure Punjabi Taste
Best Mithai Shop in the area. Everything is fresh and the staff is wonderful. Highly suggest this place
This is the best Indian food Ive had in the triangle so far. Very friendly staff and food is perfect.
Old reheated food
It’s a great place, I had a veggie Thali and chai, it’s awesome taste for the food. Pretty friendly staff and environment
Best food in the town..best Indian food I have ever had.. everyone should visit once..
Ordered a salt lassi and sugar cane juice for some quick drinks. Both were very good and perfectly seasoned, not too sweet or salty.
One of the best places to get fresh authentic Indian Sweets. The place is brand new and offers a wide variety of options. I will be back for sure.
Very bad service. food is not tasty and not worth for that price. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant.
One of the best places in the Triangle for authentic Indian Chat. Loved it. Yummy 😋
If you want to taste really Indian authentic taste you should try this place. Food is fresh and authentic Indian taste. Specially, Malai kofta, and paneer Tikka masala is best in town.
Very good place for quick snack. Kulfi and bread pakoda were the best and tasty chats. Service can be little faster.
The place is revamped, the options are amazing and food is probably the best I had in the triangle.
Perfect place for quick bites and sweets!
One of the best Mithai Shops around in this area. The food is fresh and the owner is extremely knowledgable on the food. Highly recommend.
If you are really hungry try sugarcane juice at vaiahno bhog. Samosa tried once here and potato not cooked well in menu samosa.changed to think twice to select Other food here. food menu price is high for same menu items compared to hot breads cafe variety offered in Morrisville.
One of the best south Indian food you can get.
Amazing food. Hits the spot!!!! Can work on the service a bit more but over all amazing!!!!
I bought jalebis which r too thick n completely soggy. very disappointed. The owner gave me full refund for jalebis.Very generous response.
Had a very bad experience at our last visit here. We ordered dahi bhalas, they were stale and extremely hard to break. When we complained, they offered to give us fresh plate, but the new plate was no better ! Not going back !!
Ordered Baigan ka bharta and Paneer tikka masala and it was the best I ate in Cary. I dont give review online and dont eat veg outside but this order was a must try for eveeyone.
