Been going to Mike for the past 3 years. When you have a special vehicle that you care about a lot it is important to find a mechanic that you know will take care of it. I have taken my 04 Ford Lightning and now my 03 Lightning to Mike for pulley changes, spark plugs, suspension, general maintenance stuff and Ive never had an issue upon picking it up. Helped my 1994 Dodge Dakota pass emissions (needed a new catalytic converter), and replaced the motor and transmission mounts in my 2008 GMC Yukon (I knew it needed new mounts all around, and they let me purchase the parts myself to save money). Their labor costs were completely fair for what I knew was a 5-6 hour job. Mike is a good dude!

Mike is always upfront and honest and a few times have been quoted repairs needed by Jiffy Lube and Chandler West told me I did not need certain things I was quoted and in other instances charged less then the other quote. After 5 hours, $130.00 for labor to clear a code and say they couldnt find the emissions leak. Wouldnt do a smoke test. Vehicle continues to stall out. Also steer clear if youre a person of color; Mikes attitude and disrespect toward my husband was unbelievable.

I brought my car in on 9/5/2020 for emission s repairs as I could not get the light to turn from yellow to green or read it was in not ready status I had driven over 1000 miles so I brought it in I finally picked up my car on 10/16/2020 they could not fix the issue even though they had my car over a month. They followed up with me one time in in mid September and then never called after. I called many times as I was concerned what was taking so long multiple times Mike offered to give me a follow up call and never did. They charged me $571 and did not fix the car and seemed very deceptive he always claimed he was waiting on some guy named neal I will never bring a vehicle here again and I recommend you look elsewhere if you need anything done on your vehicle.

They could have nailed me hundreds of dollars, but found and fixed the inexpensive problem instead. They have my trust. Hard to find that.

I’ve used Chandler West for years and would leave more than 5 stars if it were possible! A no frills, honest and trustworthy shop who doesn’t recommend unnecessary service to make a buck! I found this shop a few years back when I had an emission issue with my Lexus. My car was diagnosed and repaired very quickly. Since that time, I have gone to Mike for all repairs needed on my car. If you know anything about luxury cars, then you know that taking it into a dealer is a very large expense. His prices are great and he is a very honest person. If it is something outside of their expertise, he does not hesitate to then refer me back to the dealer. Being a woman, and not knowing very much about cars, I feel very confident when I take my vehicle in. I never feel like Im being taken advantage of or pressured in any way. My car has been in for multiple things from oil changes all the way up to more major repairs. Last year we moved farther away from the shop, however, it is definitely worth the drive. I highly recommend!

These guys are awesome! Super friendly and honest. My car had been sitting for almost 7 months and was basically coughing. Mike and his team were able to take me in next day. They did everything to fix her up without creating any additional and unnecessary costs, and the things that they did recommend were totally legit (i.e. my belt was splitting). They were extremely personable and even picked me up so I wouldnt have to walk back in the heat. I didnt ask, they offered! Brought my Subaru Outback in to repair a leaking transmission pan gasket. The transmission pan bolts were torqued to Subarus spec and area cleaned where wet. The work was completed in one day. Because I had the same vehicle in for transmission service 7 months prior and no parts were needed, I incurred no additional cost. Top notch service, highly recommended!

Unfortunately didnt pass first time due to no information on computer. I had replaced a sencor for oil pressure, its for me just common practice to undo battery whenever working with electrical parts/harnesses. I went two days later for testing and it hadnt gone through a full drive cycle, so I just let q week go by and yesterday passed, their good at this location in and out all lanes usually open, always doing anything they can to get more vehicles in and out so both tines I waited maybe 2 minutes max.

Mike and the team and Chandler West Emission and Auto Repair are what you expect from a repair shop. They are honest, do a great job and stand by their work. I was quoted needing a full front and rear a/c for my Tahoe and in fact it was a leaking valve. My rear brakes were grabbing and was told by another shop the brakes were fine. In fact I had broken springs in the rear drum. A 2500 dollars repair for a/c and told broken brakes were ok cost me 450 ... ice cold a/c and great brakes. So blessed to have such a great mechanic and shop that I can rely on!!! Highly recommend them to everyone.

I have been going to chandler west auto for a couple years now for a reason. Its to easy for mechanics to have unfair prices which is why its so amazing have someone you can trust.. they do a great job of never charging you more than necessary. They have amazing customer service and are super friendly. I have personally refured 4 or 5 people to him because I enjoy sharing a good thing. Dont plan on going anywhere else for as long as i can help it. Would recommend them every single time.

I moved over to Phoenix from Los Angeles for a new job. Had to get my car smogged to register in AZ. Car is a early model BMW 3 series. The on board computers on the 1996-2005 3 series have always been quirky to get the drive cycle cleared so the car can pass a smog test. The shop manager Mike went the extra mile (literally) to get the computer controllers cleared then he ran the car through himself and it passed. This saved me a ton of time and hassle as I was in training and could not do this myself. This was my first experience with Chandler West, but wont be my last. They have my business. I spent a day or two tracking down a code internet said it was ether the computer or the TIPM would have cost me $450 plus at junkyard and would have had to program. So I decided to call Chandler West Emissions. They had it back to me the next day it was a bad wire running from the computer the TIPM. Rather then just having me throw money at it they found the problem and fixed it for $215. I am happy to have found a honest repair shop that wants my business not just my money.

I called and asked if they could install new brakes and rotors that I purchased from AutoZone. They were more than happy to and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. I’ve been riding with them for over a week and even drove from Phx to Cali with no issues. Great service!
