Cool vibe, quick service, great tea.

I am so happy Colectivo is here. And its likely been there for a long time but I just noticed so please forgive me. Like the other locations, they are quick and delicious. Their latte was so crazy delicious too. When youre used to the mermaid chain, and you taste Colectivos version, your mind will change. I also had a breakfast sandwich on what I believe is their homemade English muffin which was truly delightful. I cannot say enough good things and hope to get back there soon.

FREE. SELTZER. SPIGOT. If that wasnt enough, Colectivo has a great ambiance and vibe for conversation, small meetings, and personal work sessions. Solid food options, reliable WiFi, good A/C, gorgeous open-able wall windows, great shaded patio, friendly staff. I wish they were open a bit later, but its good theyre sticking to reasonable hours for its staff. 2 unisex single occupancy bathrooms that could really use an occupied/unoccupied indicator lock.

Genuine matcha made by the beautiful Barista,Matt, who truly knows how a matcha should look and taste. Kindly offered to show me the loose powder and an array of mixers . Was also impressed with the Toasts were well made and looked very tasty. Not easy to find table outside, but they seem to turn over reasonably quickly so its worth hanging around a waiting a bit. Pick-up area benches though usually available maybe frowned upon when used a table but the bench around the tree is up for grabs. 😉Great team members that worked NSYNC and actually made eye contact with guests. Felt like I was back home in SF. Definitely will be returning with friends and family.

All the specialty drinks I have tried here have been lovely. Not too sweet. There is currently one with ginger and turmeric that has a kick to it. This place has lots of seating but it can fill up quickly. The decor is funky and tasteful. The have sparkling and still water on tap for customers. There are many options for snacks and food. A great spot in Andersonville!

Sometimes they are great, sometimes they are not. Could use a lot more consistency and update their menu on delivery apps.

Very cute place. The line is always long here, so I guess everyone likes their coffee. I had been to Collectivo in Madison, and it was similarly fun and tasty.

Cool layout, garage doors that can open, and lots of space to hang out with a laptop or a small group! Typical coffee place stuff with pastries, whole beans and cups/hats/mugs.Working on a liquor license with 4 or 5 different types of beer. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the company. First day open and they talked to me about the company and plans between gaps in the line!

Enjoy the ambiance of this particular cafe. Staff is always friendly, ample seating outside of COVID, and food is tasty. Major drawbacks are bang for your buck and overall quality of the coffee. Not going to be the best coffee you have ever tasted and quite overpriced (a small burrito for $7-8 with tax and no side). Great place to meet people though!

There are a limited amount of coffee shops that are destinations and colectivo is one. The settings are comfortable and the coffees are worth buying to take home and make. Good choices of food

Jayla was so sweet and helpful when I was buying my coffee today. She also had so many sweet things to say and it’s so nice to talk to people like that (especially during these covid times). She’s the sweet one with the “Libra” necklace if you’re ever in there. Place was clean and Jayla makes a wonderful oat milk latte. Thank you guys! Please stay safe 🤍

The people here are so fantastic and helpful! They always greet me with a smile and the drinks are incredible. Hands down one of my favorite coffee places on Clark!

The interior design and atmosphere are the best things about this place. Wide open windows allowed us to eat and get caffeinated while watching the rain pour three feet from our seats. It was a beautiful sight but that was where the fun began and ended.It started with rude service. I knew what I wanted to order but my friend had questions about the iced drinks. The cashier was noticeably annoyed at this. Meanwhile two more baristas were goofing off behind her and eventually one noticed a patron waiting behind us and stepped in to help her. It was very unprofessional and unwelcoming.The coffee was mediocre, a bit on the sour side. I had a turkey club and it was very basic, served on bland white bread. I could have made it better at home. My friend had an egg and potato wrap/burrito and it was tastier but still unremarkable. The wrap came with a salsa that was actually delicious, so that was exciting at least.I would come back to sit in that window if it’s going to be raining again but there are waaaay better options in this area.

Great tasting oat caramel iced latte

The place is great. Good pastries and really nice people. Only thing is that Ive ordered 2 different coffee beverages, a ginger based one and a mexican chocolate based one. Both were really strong in the spices they put in. Took the comfort right out of the drink. Would come back again.

The best customer service I’ve had at a cafe during the pandemic. Very friendly and lightly conversational— which is so refreshing nowadays. Highly recommend their muffins and anything with the lavender syrup!

Great new addition to Chicagos andersonville coffee scean super polite staff

I love Colectivo coffee, but this location needs some work. My wife, my son, and I just stopped in. I went to buy some bags of coffee for some late Xmas gifts. I ended up purchasing 5 bags in total. My wife and I also each got a coffee. My wife got a small “Snow day”, which was good and I got a medium “Gaia” Pour over. The pour over tasted mostly of paper from the filter and the drink itself was luke warm. I know that pour overs are sometimes brewed at lesser temperature, but this was extreme. I asked for a house cup for a replacement. I wish they would have prompted me to brew it again, but properly, especially since pour overs are more expensive. I’m guessing the filter was not thoroughly rinsed before brewing and the brewing vessel was cold. This is not the quality I have come to expect from Colectivo, which has normally exceeded my expectations. My wife also noticed that the garbage can in the bathroom was overflowing, paper on the floor, and the toilet paper was placed on top of the dispenser rather than in the holder. I could excuse this if this was during the morning rush or something, but we came late in the evening and they should have had plenty of time to maintain the bathroom. I hope Colectivo concentrate on maintaining quality and service before they decide to expand again. I like this place a lot. Very cozy and cute with a wide variety of coffee drinks to choose from. It was pretty busy when I went even on a weekday, so it may not be the best place to go to get some work done, but definitely a great place to meet up with friends. The outdoor seating looks like it will be very nice in warmer weather.

With all due respect to Intelligentsia, it is really difficult to find a dialed-in espresso at 3pm. The espresso taste changes thru the day with temperature+humidity etc, so the settings need to be checked and changed throughout the day. Most places give up before noon. Not Colectivo. I dont think Ive ever had a great espresso at 3pm until here at Colectivo. Highly recommend.

Full disclosure, I used to work for a different Colectivo location. The coffee selection is great, products are sourced locally, and though a vegan will have slim pickings here, its not entirely impossible to eat well. Social distancing is practiced well at this location - theres no cross traffic.

I came here because I know they just opened recently. The decor is lovely, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. An employee was walking around handing out free pastries, which is cool!The only reason I didnt give them a 5 star rating is because I find the environment a bit too loud and energetic to relax and get work done. People talk very loudly here. Is it just me? I like quiet. Im an introvert. Well, anyway...the music is also a bit loud, and I dont care for the song selection.I think I tend to like coffee shops with more of a relaxed, hipster vibe. Maybe its just a personal preference. This place is great for groups, and is bright and colorful. I would recommend it depending on what youre looking for. Coffee is good.

I love the atmosphere here. Every time Ive gone the staff has been so friendly and welcoming. I really like their hot chocolate and the pastries are great. I also tried one of their smoothies which was good, too. I need to make some return visits and explore their menu but so far its a wonderful addition to the neighborhood!

What a neat little place. Slightly off beat, but just enough that its not weird. Had one experience with a server who didnt seem to be in the best mood, but didnt take away from the visit or the coffee. Good diverse menu, even though I order pretty simple.

This coffee shop has a wide variety of items to purchase, such as smoothies, bagels, gluten-free baked goods, and teas. There is a large amount of space to get work done, as well as two gender-neutral restrooms that are equally clean. Id recommend visiting to anyone within the area that is looking for a spot to get work done or talk over coffee with a friend.

Unfortunately Chicago colectivos are a bit uppity And unfriendly. I used to recommend this same to people but I can no longer because other coffee places treat their customers better.

My moms favorite place to eat in the city. Good ambience, nice staff, really tasty options. I wish portions were a little bigger or prices were a little lower? Also, they carry Defloured gluten free desserts!

Great coffee and drinks, plenty of seats, and fast wifi. It gets a little boisterous at times - but the energetic atmosphere made me feel comfortable fielding a short work call from my window seat. Ill come to work remotely again soon!

So happy Colectivo got another Chicago location! Have been going to Milwaukee locations for years and this one lives up to their greatness.Wonderful coffee and bakery, plus an eclectic interior. Love the mismatched seating and garage doors opening up to the street. Plenty of outlets as a work/study space too

This has been the best coffee house I’ve been to in Andersonville so far. Natural light, outdoor seating, plants. I always get a cappuccino when I try a new spot, just so the comparison is fair but this time I went with the iced cold brew horchata and it is excellent. Would recommend this place to all, gets a 4.5 from me. (Local Art, on the somewhat bare brick wall would get the last .5 from me)

Ive been to this Colectivo location three times now and I am very pleased with it. It has replaced the other coffee shops I have gone to regularly, without a doubt. The oatmeal cream pies are almost too good, and their drink of the day options are super delicious.

This place has good coffee- and I enjoyed the matcha latte it tasted more authentic, if you know drink matcha. Food is good too, nice selection of pastries! The cucumber cream cheese is a must with a bagel and they have sandwich and soup& salad options. They are super friendly and even walked around giving free cookies! I lost my keys and was having a bad day and they offered me free coffee. Highly recommend this place, I like the water on tap by the napkins too:)
