I got myself a delicious iced oat milk caramelatte, was met with friendly staff, and they have a very nice and relaxing space 🙂
My poppa bae surprised me and took me here one morning out the blue. The frozen mocha was the bomb. I love it. We will be going again and again. Go and have a new experience. You wont be sorry.
Its one of our towns best places! The workplace is fantastic because of an excellent, friendly team. Theyd be able to provide us with the coffee flavor we desired. They were able to provide the desired taste that we needed, in my opinion. I will definitely return, and I will recommend this restaurant to everyone! Thank you!
What a spot. This is one of the most convenient locations for certain tasks. They definitely served good coffee at a reasonable price, as well as delicious cookies. I was rocking in my seat because of the music they were playing. This is always the place! I would strongly recommend it to my peers, family, and coworkers. Continue your good work!
My initial thought upon leaving Chicago was to get our breakfast at some combination of Starbucks/McDonald/Dunkin. It wasnt what I wanted to do, but I knew it would be fast and efficient before an 8-hour drive. But as I was pondering these unpalatable possibilities, I remembered a coffee shop on Clark St. that I had passed on a few of my walks, and also remembered that they offered a cream cheese, lox, and onion sandwich on an onion bagel. I had always meant to try it out, and so I decided to make the stop on the way out of town at the Coffee Studio. It was a wise decision on my part. I ordered a large dulce Americano to go with the sandwich. Of all the places I went looking for Jewish bagels and sandwiches, this one finally hit the mark. It was a pretty solid onion bagel, there was a generous shmear of cream cheese, the lox was cold and fresh, and the raw red onion on top was nice and crisp. The coffee was brewed nicely as well. We took our sandwiches over to the lake shore for one last view of Lake Michigan and ate the sandwiches with quiet, melancholy pleasure. I got chewed out by the server because I failed to see the sign that only allowed one customer in the store at a time for pickup, and I deserved it, so kudos to the staff for making the place safe for customers and everyone. Hopefully the next time I am in Chicago I will be able enjoy this sandwich again while spending a few hours sitting in their shop drinking coffee and wandering the internet.
Among the remainder, you are the best! What I like about this coffee shop is that when it comes to coffee and pastries, theyve really got my taste. Its not so sweet, and its just perfect. You deserve to be remembered by many! Expect me to give all my colleagues a recommendation for your service and go here again. Oh, thank you!
If you are looking for a good coffee and accommodating staff, this place is the best to go. The chairs and couch were very comfortable. And also, the restroom is well designed and maintained. Everything about this coffee shop is excellent. I really love to go back here together with my friends, family members, and loved ones. Thank you very much!
A great coffee shop that we stumbled upon while visiting near Loyala campus. A great shop with cool coffee selections and baked vegan pastries. We ordered vanilla latte and caramel latte. Both lattes and pastry were great. Service was really good. Very relaxing place where seat back relax and enjoy great coffee.
After our long drive, we drop in this coffee shop to have some coffee and rest. I love the way they arranged things, very comfy, very cold, and spacious. All of the crews there show genuine concern and care for the customers. This is a perfect place for studying working or just for chit chat. I love the place! Thank you!
Espresso based coffee needs improving through retraining on extraction techniques. Service was lacking friendliness this visit; unusual for this neighborhood. The essence of a cafe experience begins with a beverage and continues beyond the cup. As we were leaving we brought our cups and saucers to the front, and the staff just pointed to the bus bucket as if we were an inconvenience to them. The experience left a bad taste in our mouth, literally and figuratively. It was a cold feeling for what is meant to be such a warm experience.
Cute coffee joint with plenty of seating and a modern industrial vibe serving up freshly roasted Intelligentsia. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about their single-origin selection, and recommended me a really nice seasonal blend. The pour-over was absolutely humongous (definitely a boon). Comfy and welcoming atmosphere, definitely coming back.
I really love this coffee shop because they have everything that I wanted, and its amazing because the staffs are so friendly and attentive. Everything here in this coffee shop was fantastic, including the service, and the most important thing is the taste of its coffee. I will surely come back here again someday. Thanks, everyone! Youre the best!
Really good coffee, cool space. Comfy chairs.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Chicago. The nicest baristas (TIP THEM!!!) and the lox bagel is incredible. I always order a cappuccino and sprinkle raw sugar on top 😊Stop in for a drink, get some work done with their nice seating areas, LGBTQ FRIENDLY, and peaceful when you want to read a good book. Always coming back to this sweet spot.
They serve hand crafted tea/cocktail. They give you instructions on how to steep your tea. You can either have the drink on ice or hot. Its a nice afternoon pick me up. Big communal tables. My brother said he used to come here to study. Order at the counter and bus your own table. Great place to hang out.
Wonderful coffee and great service. You can order ahead or order inside, then wait outside while they make your coffee. They have a little table on the inside where the put orders when theyre ready. Socially distanced and easy.
Very well done. We had breakfast a couple of times at this location and always had excellent service and delicious food. Its always a good place to get your day started.
Been going here since it opened. Friendly crew and consistently good coffee.
Coffee lovers, continually in search of our next great cup.Ordered a cappuccino & an almond latte. Both were perfection! Both were balanced and the foam on the latte was so creamy and the cappuccino was perfect. We visit A LOT of coffee shops all across the country, this is one of our favs.
Great coffee. A little steep $$
Great baristas, which is all that matters.
Very friendly and safe environment! They have a wide variety of great coffee and tea options for people with a discerning palette. Also a good place to sit and do some quiet work when its not covid.
Wonderful coffee and a super friendly staff!
One of the best coffee shops in Chicago. Coffee is real and excellent, not like other places that doesnt even know difference between cappuccino and macchiato. And all these negative reviews about how they do not allow eating your own food there is ridiculous, cause If you have little bit of common sense, you will understand that is very impolite to bring your own foo to place which is selling their own, even its coffee shop. Some ppl really does not know for better than Starbucks.
Such good coffee
I’ve driven by numerous times but finally decided to try it today after seeing so many glowing reviews. It did not disappoint. Loved the Dolce Nitro Cold Brew and my apple and Brie flatbread was delicious. Excellent service from the baristas. Personally, I hope the limited free WiFi so many complain about was the standard everywhere. There are so many options for workspaces that cater to those that want to sit there doing work for hours while customers such as myself can’t stay and relax while enjoying our coffee.
Great coffee! I highly recommend their cortado.
Delicious maple latte. Perfect for the fall, especially if you are looking for something other than pumpkin spice!
Terrible experience. I realize things have. Changed because of the current pandemic, but, I am sorry it was weird. You walk in with a table barring the entrance and a greeting is yelled at you from about 15 feet. There was nothing displayed near my location about any of their offerings and I couldn’t read the menu because of distance. I ordered a generic black coffee. I was told to pay by credit card and put my card into a tiny credit card machine with no pricing information. Then someone yelled to me how tip I waned to add to the bill. I still don’t know what I paid for a coffee. There are other coffee options in the area, I will never go back there!
Was given sour cream instead of cream chess for an onion bagel, and the onions were quite burnt on the bagle.
Ive had the dolce latte and lox/cream cheese bagel, and both were absolutely delicious. This is my new favorite spot!! Thanks for your hard work during this tough time, youre appreciated.
In this time of chaos, the Coffee Studio has adapted quickly to provide a SAFE and easy way to order and pick up food and drinks. The pastries and coffee remain of the highest quality. First cortado in six weeks and it was amazing.
I come here almost everyday for their special coffees. My favorite is the Spaniard, which is a Spanish latte with a splash of condense milk. The coffee is so smooth and silky with the condense milk. I usually dont add any sugar to my coffee. The condense milk was not overly sweet as I thought it would be.
Liked it! The staff is super friendly and serving is fast. Each table also has a power plug, so you can spent some time there on your phone or laptop.
Love this café, Im not a caramel fan at all, but they will turn you into one. I mostly get their caramelatte, which I get nowhere else. They make the caramel in house and these little caramel candies come in some interesting (in a good way) flavors. My favorite is rosemary sea salt. Also, this is written mid-pandemic and thankfully theyre still in action, and still have those delicious little caramels. You should definitely ask for one, or 3 actually. I like to savor things so I take tiny bites and just let them slowly disintegrate. 3 lasts me a couple of weeks. I hope I can one day lounge around on my computer in theyre lovely café. Other random thing that I love, the bathrooms are marked human, which makes me feel a little more included, being in a bit of a strange gender category. Hope this weird review helps. If not, eh, my bad.
Tasty chai, fast, contactless service
I dig it.
Good place to meet friends & business associates in Andersonville. LGBT-friendly; nice staff. Coffee is great; food menu is limited but solid.
Excellent coffee!!! but do not try for to go! -unless u have your own cup or beverage carrier-... They claim to help environment by not using lids and carriers for the cups... So unless you have as many hands free as coffee cups... Then u can carry them... :)
Great coffee! Great people! Great atmosphere! Granted Im a bit of novice when it comes to the subtleties of coffee and the brewing process but Im learning. I love their hand-crafted specialty coffees, prepared so meticulously that even I can tell the difference. The staff has been very friendly, down-to-earth, and more than willing to answer my coffee questions without talking down to me. Brought my daughter, a big latte fan, recently. She just fell in love with the place. I would highly recommend checking this place out.
I love this coffee shop! I get the Coldbrew black, no sugar. I say this because not only is it delicious but also so you know Im not the type to order Pumpkin Spiced Lattes and therefore help you to better consider the information in this review. I always have great service, everyone is very nice. I also feel like the decor and ambiance are amazing. I mostly just stop in for coffee and continue with my day, however it looks like a great place to linger.
This is the best latte in Chicago, and you can all fight me on it. The pastries are really good too. If it was a little more affordable, Id be in constantly.
Ive always had a great experience here. And they recently implemented a rewards program, which is awesome!
Great selection of coffee and tea concoctions as well as pastries, sandwiches and even alcohol. They do a good job of having options for everyone: GF, vegan, kids, etc. Really nice atmosphere too. Not cheap, but good quality.
Friendly staff. Good space for hanging out with a friend. I had their mocha without any extra sweetener, bitter sweet, just how I like it.
Great little spot to enjoy premium roasted coffee and teas. Ive never been disappointed with the service staff or the impeccable cleanliness of the Coffee Studio either. Theyre bakery is always unique and distinctively tasty while fresh. The bathrooms speak volumes about the cleanliness and they are always perfect! The countertop areas are impeccable and always cleaned regularly. I believe the staff person at the counter cleaned the surface are by the cash register twice while we were seated. The local crowd of patrons are pleasant and are neighborhood friendly folks without attitude. Their internet services have consistently operated effectively and reliably. The outdoor side tables and seating make for a pleasant outdoors dimension for the space...weather permitting. The parking leaves something to be desired...but the ambiance and quality product of The Coffee Studio far makeup for the only inconvenience I could observe. Definitely check out this place for your needs. My Blessings deservingly given with three solid winks😉😉😉😎🇨🇮
Good selection of coffee and tea. They have a limited selection of beer too. Good options for snacks and sandwiches. Staff is attentive and fast. Decent spot for working on a project one friend or colleague (most of the tables are intended to seat only two).
Always a great spot with quality offerings, coffee and baked goods are top shelf - pricey. I got a reusable steel straw with its own swab/cleaner for myself for only $4 - this is genius!
Really great coffee shop. It has modern decor and wide variety of coffee beverages. They open pretty early. Great way to support local business.
Really cool spot to grab coffee and catch up with friends or work on that project that is coming due. The coffee and food options are great. The service is quick and friendly.
This is the best latte in Chicago, and you can all fight me on it. The pastries are really good too. If it was a little more affordable, Id be in constantly.
Excellent coffee and selection of teas. Also offers coffee/tea extraction tools. Service is good too. Comfy and cozy environment, but the seating can be limited.
Really good (albeit a bit pricy) coffee and a few selections of food all of which seemed fresh
Overpriced, stale donut. Busy with people quietly working on laptops and tablets. Comfy chairs for socializing. Plenty of outlets: back bench seats well-designed to allow access. Id rate the staff as average, friendly.
Wonderful little coffee shop, but like a studio apartment it is small... great to hang out in during the week when few people are here, but on the weekend plan to get your coffee to go. Friendly staff and good menu!
Had the best oat milk latte one day. The next day I ordered the same and had an allergic reaction to it. When I tasted it I asked the guy, a different barista than the day before, are you sure this is oat milk? It tasted a little like dairy. He reassured me but Im pretty sure he mixed it with cows milk or didnt wash out the steam pitcher before making my order. Sure enough I started having a reaction after I drove off. The best oat milk latte at least when its 100% oat milk anyway.
Used to be my unemployed hangout. Great coffee, quiet, mature hipster vibe and did I say great coffee? Easy parking as well. Nice to do a bit of window shopping after you are buzzed too! The neighborhood rocks as well.
Really great latte, friendly staff and great working environment
My favorite Andersonville coffee shop because its consistent. They serve tried-and-true Intelligentsia. While a little more spendy, I usually like if not love every cup or shot of espresso. the coffee studio has a good range of prices though.
Finding vegan cream cheese for a bagel in Chicago is very challenging. These guys have great coffee with sustainability in mind PLUS non-dairy options. Love.
They always take good care of me when I visit. Great Coffee and pastries
Best cold brew I ever had and customer service
Few coffee joints NAIL the Cortado like this one does (every single time).
Hands down the best coffee shop in the city. Their dolce iced drinks hit the spot perfectly on a warm day, and their baked goods will fill you up any day of the week.
If you love croissants and almonds, you must try their almond croissant! Delicious! One of my favorite treats!
Had a vanilla latte with oat milk. It was delicious, but also north of $5. I’d go back for some of the homemade desserts.
Great atmosphere, comfortable seating and unique drink menu.
This coffee shop has great ambiance, it’s not too loud and there’s lots of seating. This would be a great spot to get work done but you only get 1 hour of WiFi. But I suppose if I had purchased another drink after my initial one I could’ve gotten another WiFi code.I ordered a hot cocoa here and it was very good. My friend got a coffee and said it was good too. I highly recommend this place.
Chic, great ambiance, impeccably clean. Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient baristas. Excellent array of flavorful beverages. Restaurant quality meals a coffee house...well, Coffee Studio. One of my favs in Chicago. #amazing
Nice little coffee/tea spot. Loved the classical music they are playing there! A little bit small, but its ok if you dont stay there for too long.
Good espresso, nice place, nice outdoor area. Service, decent. Overall, pretty average. Nothing especially cool about the place. Just a nice decent coffee shop.
Beat cup of coffee on Chicago!
Delicious coffee place, they definitely know what they are doing.
Stopped in about half way through a bike ride for some iced coffee. It was delicious! And they even refilled my water bottle.
Their baristas are all so great!! Wonderful place.
Best Coffee shop in Andersonville!!! The caramel is homemade. The staff is always super friendly and the vibe is incredible. Great place to hangout and get work done in the afternoon.
Great environment. Great selection of tea and coffee. Friendly and efficient staff.
They limit their WiFi to 1 hour... Nice place to pick up to go or bring a date. Coffee is really good though.
Super cute spot to park your laptop and get some work done with some great coffee to boot. Ice blended options are great as well as a wide variety of baked goods to enjoy. Only drawback is the 2 hour wi-fi limit w/ every purchase, but their offerings are good and so thats no problem at all. Outlets easily accessible.
Soy latte was amazing. Staff seems very knowledgable and willing to help!
Love the ambiance of this coffee shop, the staff not so much. Not a fan of pretentious service.
Coffee studio is my favorite coffee house in the city ( I may be biased because I live right up the street ) but the coffee and food items are consistently delicious! They have different espresso ice cream treats as well as very strong mixed drinks (late night) that seem to always perfectly cap a night out in andersonville.
Amazing coffee, food, atmosphere, service...a real gem!
Great coffeed, fine service, reasonable price.
The Coffee Studio is very close to where I live; so I was really excited to check it out. In other reviews, people commented on how unfriendly staff was; I didnt experience that. Staff was fine and friendly with me. My only complaint is that it is pricey. My neighbor goes there religiously and my school buddies always talk about how they go there for study groups, so it must be good if people come back.
Really cute space with delicious coffee. Sometimes hard to find a table in busy periods. Lots of plugs around and tasty snacks.
Its an average fancy coffee place, pretty full of itself and full of hipsters, but the coffee is good, strong, and the milk is well frothed. They dont do tasty flavorings like, say, Ipsento, but for a good, basic coffee it works. It seemed more like a place to sit with friends than to wit and work. They also sell lots of overpriced coffee accoutrements.
