Always an issue placing an order online and picking it up from the store, either the order was wrong, over charged and or order not fulfilled. They mean well, just not very good at customer service, unfortunately.

Went to the store in the middle of the day today, no one was there and it was locked. Online says it is open, not even a sign on the door.

Horrible! Treated me like I wasn’t going to buy . Asked about free facial, didn’t offer services. I knew more info about products and asked for location of their school. No direct answer and misleading. Went to store in Lincoln Park that has excellent customer service. Wouldn’t recommend the water tower location at all.

Always helpful and patient team there but also lets one look around and test and try. Its kinda like a littls meditation of shopping experience.

Stopped in to pick up a refill of the hand relief hand creme, which is one of my favorite Aveda products. I ended up getting a complimentary express facial (very relaxing!) which introduced me to a bunch of new facial care products - I left with a toner, hydrating moisturizer and an enbrightenment masque. Plus they gave me two travel size hand relief lotions for free. I also paid $10 to get double points on my purchase which can be used for product and Aveda salon service discounts.

Ive shopped at many Aveda stores across the country and this one by far has the nicest staff. They were helpful and didnt scoff that I was using coupons. While the location is inconvenient for me, being treated nicely will make it so I come back.

Very disappointing experience! My girlfriends and I booked and confirmed appointments online for their promotion on facials at 11:00 am only to find out from Christine at the time of the appointment that they only have one person until 1:15 pm and they cant see us till 3:30. We had a flight to catch so left. It would have been nice if we had known that theres even a small chance that they cant see us before we made the trip. They had no sort of compensation whatsoever either.Will not shop for any of their products ever because of the unprofessional handling of the issue. Next stop Sephora or anything else, honestly.

For clarification whenever I go to high end stores or eatery . I get these weird looks like they are surprised to see me and faux pax greetings.Laughable, after the sales person warmed up to me it was ok l( when I spent over $100.00 on 1 item .Treat all customers like they have $$$$ because you cant always look at a person and tell.

Went to get a free 2-5 minute neck and shoulder massage and at first it did feel good, about an hour later my shoulder started to hurt really bad and its been 24 hours and it STILL hurts!! Never again will I be going back here.
