Very professional. Not exactly easy to do eye exams to during covid but they do it well. Will be recommending to family and friends.

First time with this office, great experience all around! Easy online portal to schedule an appointment, friendly reminder texts and emails, and a library of frames to look at online! Saw Dr. Erika Cleland for an eye exam and new lenses and frames. Everyone from the front desk to the techs, and the Dr. were wonderful and made me feel very comfortable.

Do not recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else where they can work with you if anything happens.

Great optometrist office! Have been around because I’ve had issues getting fitted for contact lenses but here they knew just what to give me. Even better i was able to try a set before i made my purchase! Will recommend them to all my friends. The staff was great!

Dr. Rodriguez and his staff are so welcoming and kind. My son went in for an eye exam, having trouble seeing in school. They took care of him like he’s been a patient there for years. Dr. Rodriguez was so patient and answered all my questions which, means a lot to a mom! Would definitely recommend them, thank you guys so much! :)

Madeline in the front office is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! There was some mix-ups with my insurance and what I was charged. She was able to assist me with the charges, and make everything right! She was able to give me the amount cover by my insurance and refund me the issue not covered by my insurance. NOTE NO REFUND ARE GIVEN, PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT REFUNDS. WHAT YOU ORDER IS WHAT YOU GET. My situation was an insurance mix up and she was absolutely phenomenal! She was very respectful, informative, resourceful, and insanely friendly and understanding!

Very bad business. I pick up my new glasses 👓and 3 days later the frame broke looks like was glue and went back there to show them and have them fix and they told me we dont repair them because insurance is not paying us to fix them. I told them you give me a damaged frame and very very unprofessional they told me No repair and they want to sale me another frame like the one I have. 3 days only I have them. Never go back there and not recommend to nobody.

Dr. Erika was very nice, welcoming and helpful. However, the staff up front were not friendly. They have a fax in their office and I asked one of them( the Hispanic lady) to do me a favor and send a document to my insurance company and she did not want to. I was offended because we had never been denied that favor in any other medical office. I hope the office manager considers the mistreatment they gave me.

Lovely first appointment. Everyone I encountered there was very nice & professional. From the front desk employees, to the assistant doing the tests where they blow air in your eye & looking at the little house, to the optometrist Erika Cleland. Very helpful and patient when it came to me having to take my contacts in and out haha. I look forward to future appointments.

By far the best team in McHenry County, and they are all very knowledgeable. If they dont know something, they find out for you. Ive never had a bad experience here. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Will never visit again. Felt more like a used car dealer than a professional service. The Dr. kept pushing for me to buy glasses, contacts, prescription sun glasses. I already told them that I was there because I had corrective surgery. They confirmed my vision was better than 20/20 but apparently the office visit fee didnt meet the office quota.

Sarah has been helping me every time I come in and she’s wonderful! I was a little discouraged from my visit last year, felt uncomfortable & like a burden to some of the ladies there but Sarah makes my visits so fun, welcoming & is just really great to work with!!! The doctor there, Dr. Cleland is amazing too! I really do enjoy coming here & recommend it!

Ive been using Primary Eye Care for several years now, and I love the service. The doctors are very good; they take their time to explain things properly. The front office staff is also top notch, particularly Lupe - shes the best.

Both myself and my 10 year old son come for our exams and glasses, and we love the doctors and their staff. They are always very pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating, even when my son was very upset over needing to get his first pair of glasses! Highly recommended.

The staff behind the counter has always been very helpful with figuring out my insurance. No problems experienced with the doctors. Overall, it has been a fine place to use for vision care.

I highly recommend Primary Eye Care in Crystal Lake, especially Dr. Erika Cleland for the complete and comprenhensive exam and the recommended glasses for my particular use. I am a pilot and my vision at all ranges is vital, the glasses Dr. Cleland recommended give me the full range from up close reading my instruments to the long range needed for safe flying and landing. They took me right in at my appointment time and completed my exam and my glasses were ready in record time. Highly recommended.
