This shop was amazing!! Staff was very helpful and super fun to chat with. My brother and I had so many books selected to buy that they let us peruse their over flow in the basement and we found some amazing gems all throughout. Fabulous selection as well.One critique I will say, find better stickers for the books. Some of the stickers had been on long enough that they damaged the outside while being peeled off, even when peeled slowly and carefully.We look forward to visiting again when we go back to Atlanta!

I love the atmosphere and the people! Everyone here is so passionate about learning and reading. You can get lost in millions of stories for hours. They also sell really nice book-related items, like magnetic bookmarks and reading lights. Coming back soon :)

Very rude customer service. I came in and no one addressed me I didn’t think much of it. Another person (white) comes in and everyone addressed them, greeted asked how their day was as well as offered assistance if they needed. I was curious and approached the counter to Atleast see if I would be addressed asking if I found everything ok I was completely and utterly ignored. It was very obvious as the only brown person in the room I was not a important customer and my dollar doesn’t matter. Go to half priced book store instead they are conscience.

Really excellent location! Right across the street from a gas station and several food places; plenty of parking. Has really good deals on books (look for the red and green stickers) and has nice staff as well as friensly customers! Its just got a nice homey feel to it.

Great book shop! All of the books were in really good condition and I was able to get 2 really amazing novels (I am very picky). I read both in a span of one week. I will definetly be going again.

I have nothing negative to say about Eagle Eye. They have the best selection of books (new and used) along with cool and funky gifts to accompany the books. The staff is friendly and the store has good hours of operation. Highly recommend this locally-owned store!

Love this place! I can always find a used book in excellent condition for everyone on my Christmas list. They even have books that are new, not used and can order you a title if you cant find it on their shelves. They remodeled since the last time I was in there. The front seems more spacious. The staff is very knowledgeable. I always look forward to the Holiday catalog, full of book suggestions. And they have a free Loyalty Club program that rewards you $5 for every $50 spent. Whats not to love?

Love this book shop! It’s a great local bookstore that can fulfill all your reading needs. They have a great supply of used and new books and other assorted accessories. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and helpful. Plus, if they don’t have the book you are looking for, you can have them order for you. In addition, they have numerous events like book signings throughout the year. Last year I had a cookbook signed by the author, Martina McBride, for a gift for my parents. Really cool opportunity within walking distance!Skip the Amazon shopping cart and support this lovely bookstore.

My review & rating are based solely on the atmosphere and the employees. I dont actually know much about books or bookstores.They have a nice mix of new & used, and my daughter found plenty of books that intrigued her.Mostly, though, its very clean, spacious, and well laid out. It just a nice vibe. And the employees could not have been nicer.Only relevant to the moment, but I greatly appreciated their safety measures given the covid times.

Great selection of new and used books. Staff was a mixed bag--one person was helpful in finding mythology books. The person who checked us out, not so much. She forgot to apply year-end discounts to my order, messed up w/ my credit card, and was generally inattentive to the task at hand. Over all, I came away from the bookstore with mixed feelings.

I live in Macon and have never been to this bookstore before but came up for Andy Davidsons book launch of The Boatmans Daughter and fell in love with this store! Its got a mixture of new and used books, some I havent seen on shelves in years (very cool to suddenly have them at my fingertips!). Its quiet and somehow homey - I felt immediately at ease being there. Great prices, lots of featured events being held there, and the staff members were so kind. I highly recommend this little book shop!

Large selection, but we were hoping for a second hand bookstore. It seemed like most of the books here were new and cover priced. If I lived near this store Im sure Id frequent it but I dont see a reason to return. No reason to leave a negative review, but I wouldnt recommend it to a friend.

Masks required, hand sanitizer provided, and limit number of customers at a time for easy social distancing. Great selection of books and other items. Very good experience.

The people in the store are interested in helping you. They have knowledge of many varied topics. There are nearly unlimited availability. If they dont have it, they will order it. Im so glad they are near me.

I visited recently for an author signing only to realize this is the bookstore Ive been going to for years. Its a bookstore lovers place for books. Used and new. Great author events. Great kids section. I used yo go by myself in high school and now bring my daughter.

A nice local book shop with lots of new releases. A majority of books here are new and cost about retail, but they have some used books which are discounted.

My favorite book store that Ive found in town so far. The people behind the counter are very polite and helpful. I like the fact that I can find cool books here that I havent seen a million times. One of my favorite finds was a large book on renaissance art. If you havent stopped by yet I definitely recommend it.

Havent been here for years. Its changed and does not smell like old books anymore.Found the book I went in to find. The bookstore staff was very helpful in locating the book in question! They even have a rewards program which I was informed of by the staff member.

Great old fashioned bookstore. Has interesting gifts and wonderfully cheerful staff. Reminds of a neighborhood bookstore in Washington, D.C. that has a wine bar and food that I would frequent, as did many of my neighbors.Seriously exceptional spot to spend some time and support.

The Eagle Eye Book Shop is a great place to find rare and out of print books! They have an excellent Childrens section as well as an ample supply of Cook books and Sports section. They host venues every other week and their staff members are the most people!

This store us great! My favorite are all cheap books outside. You can find gems hidden in there. They also have author visits. The staff is very helpful as well.

I always come out of this store with something lol. Staff are friendly and helpful and they also KNOW their books. Great environment and the owners dog make frequent appearances - shes a sweet heart (though i dont remember her name.) This store has about everything and awesome trinkets and t-shirts.

Eagle Eyes my favorite bookstore in Atlanta. Great selection, and if you want something not on the shelves theyll find it for you. Pleasant, knowledgeable employees. Good location with plenty of parking. Events nearly every week. I took a writing class with author David Fulmer that was taught in a reading room at the store and loved it. This is a nice little book store in Decatur. For its size, they have a lot of good sections and a great selection of books. They also have some famous authors doing book signings/meet and greets. They just had Daymond John from Shark Tank not too long ago. Theyre also having Dave Sedaris in the next few weeks!

Incredibly welcoming place, and does not at all have that messy ol used book store feel Im used to. Very happy to return. The corner nook for kids is pretty cute.

They had the books I needed, and even though you cant go in store, great customer service experience. Would come back.

Not a bad bookstore but the owner of the store ruins the experience. I have been there several times and he has been rude time and time again. I have heard him speak rudely to others as well especially women. I witnessed him discussing a customer in a most negative way (also a female). There are many things that make a good business. This owner has missed the most important one.Making your customers feel like they are glad they chose your business. He has lost me as a customer.
