Excellent store. Good selection of beer. Good location to the beach. We were in here a number of times and owners were always super friendly Depending on what you consider affordable for a bottle of wine this place might have a bit of sticker shock. However owner was very helpful and picked out a number of excellent wines in the 20$ range.

Great for wine. Being the only liqueur store close to the beach and hotels i would like to see some low end table wines. Liquor section if very limited but they do have chartreuse. Price range is only slightly above average. Staff knows there wines.

Every time I visit Delray Beach, I drop into the Wine Wave for my adult beverages... they always have a variety, even some brands of wine that I can not find elsewhere. Excellent and attentive service. I made multiple phone orders for which they call when ready for pickup. Just waiting to attend a wine tasting event in their upstairs room/space!!

Man I love this place. They don’t have all the bourbon in the world but they may not have everything you want but but have everything you need. Lots o wine. Great place.

I held a small birthday party in the upper room at the Wine Wave and it far exceeded my expectations! The staff was great in answering questions and helping with the set up. Jeremiah helped me select wines to have at the party and when I got there the wines were already opened, breathing and glasses set up. If you ever need to host a small event whether for business or pleasure, the space at the Wine Wave is elegant yet homey. I highly recommend the store for their wine selection and hospitality. I cant wait to return.

One of the nicest boutique wine stores that I have been to. Very nice selection of everyday wines and special occasion wines! I went to the Bordeaux tasting and sampled 20+ wines ranging from $30- $300. It was awesome experience! I look forward to a Northern Italian wine tasting.. hint hint

First of all, the store is very well organized and its very easy to find what youre looking for. Second, the staff here are fantastic! We got a tour of the store, a brief introduction to wines in general, and even a history lesson on each wine we were shown. The staff here are knowledgeable and passionate and it really shows. By far the best wine store weve been to.

Beware of The Wine Wave. I purchased a bottle of 1990 Chateau Latour for $500. Mind you it sells for $800 but nevertheless they never included any bottle description of imperfection. I opened the bottle and took a video of the opening process and to my disappointment the wine had seeped out of the cork and ruined the wine. I contacted the store and they offered me a 25% discount on future purchases!! I always use wine-searcher to buy my wine and I couldnt find a single bottle where I could buy from them utilizing the 25% discount as the lowest price online. Mind you I was looking for late vintages because I no longer trust buying aged wine from them. I reached out to them and asked for 50% although I am a wine collector and have bought thousands of bottles from reputable wine stores and had a full refund or replacement. They sent me a not so friendly email and refused to reply to my emails. In the mean time I am out of $520 and they are home free!! Beware of this seller.I just read your smoke bomb reply! The big picture is that I purchased a $500 bottle from you and It went down the sink because it tasted like vinegar.

Awesome boutique wine store. Great job on the selection of wine you guys source. I was looking for a specific bottle of Penfolds Port and you were the only store in South Florida to have it in stock. Unfortunately I don’t live close or I’d make this my go to place.Also as an aside the couple negative reviews are hilarious. As an avid wine collector and a sommelier myself I find it ridiculous when someone tries to blame a store for a corked bottle of wine. Especially when the wine is of high value or has significant bottle age. And in the case where a “collector” purchased a bottle of wine and tries to return it years later well that’s just hilarious.

What a treat! They really know wine and they get wines that are hard to find. The tastings are very high end and interesting.

As a tourist I had a great and fascinating time at this store. Found exclusive bourbon that I can’t find back in Scandinavia. The staff know their thing!

My wife and I just went to their last wine tasting event and we had an awesome time! We met Stewart, who was super knowledgeable and didnt make me feel stupid for not knowing a lot about wine. I gotta say I would definitely recommend Wine Waves special events!!

I must start my rating with a congratulatory statement regarding your reply to an “unsatisfied customer” who purchased an aged bordeaux and tried to blame you for the fact that the wine had turned. Anyone who is a “self-proclaimed wine collector” should be well-aware of the risks of buying a late vintage wine, especially 3 decades old. Just an FYI, he is an idiot and clearly knows nothing about wine, nor the risks of shipping and storing a late vintage.That being said, I was delighted with the service that was offered in this beautiful store. As a Somm (yes, certified and all) and Canadian, I am used to a good selection of biodynamic and natural wines, which seems to be difficult to find in Florida. I was assisted by Miguel who was extremely knowledgeable about the wines available and made great suggestions. I was delighted to find many organic, biodynamic wines of some of the best producers out there, some of which I didn’t know of, for relatively honest prices (and I am comparing to canadian pricing for the same bottles... and yes, I am taking into consideration the exchange rate). Much better selection than Total Wines or any other liquor store in the area if you are looking for a good bottle of wine/spirit.Thank you for a lovely first, but definitely not the last, visit.Best of luck with all your customers, “wine collectors” included.

I was worried when we moved to south Florida that I was not going to be able to replicate my local wine shop that I love so much the wine wave it is fantastic Lindsey and Jeremiah are wonderful they are so knowledgeable about wine they stock amazing products are more than happy to work with youim getting special orders and they host fantastic wine tastings cannot recommend them highly enough

I purchased three bottles of wine from them; a Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet (95 points wine-searcher), a Two Hands syrah (94 points wine-searcher), and a Ken Wright Pinot (93 points wine-searcher). The service was excellent and the selection was superb, they even have rare things like Hermitage and Cayuse as well as many other nice bottles like Hundred Acres. I will say if you want cheap wine this is not your place but if you are a wine fanatic like me then this will be your holy grail of stores. Prices are fair but the selection and service are what make this shop a top one. Any wine lover should find time to come here...theyll be glad they did.Note: One thing to keep in mind is that they dont do wine returns because of they are in a tourist town in a hot part of the country. This means that as a customer you can trust their wine will be good but also you dont want to over buy with the thought that you can bring a bottle back if you dont drink it.

Update: After Miguel and the owners of the Wine Wave on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach rejected my request, I contacted Beaux Freres directly. They were very gracious and professional and shipped me a replacement bottle.I’ve been a good customer of the Wine Wave but recently had an unfortunate experience with a bottle of defectively corked wine. I purchased 2 $100 bottles of Beaux Freres pinot noir at a tasting event in 2016 and opened one fairly soon after the event and it was fine. I put the other in my wine cellar until last week and after opening it and finding it corked, went to the Wine Cellar to exchange it. Although they agreed the cork was defective they refused to exchange it, saying I had it too long. Corked bottles aren’t uncommon, so if you intend to buy a fine bottle of wine and cellar it for any length of time, don’t buy it here because they won’t stand behind their product. I’m just glad I didn’t buy one of their very expensive bottles.
