This place is fantastic. I would not have had the same service if I went anywhere else. From start to finish I was helped by the entire family. It has become a family tradition of mine to exclusively shop here. My mom has been coming for close to 30 years (this location and the last). She has always told me to come here. My husband and I took my wedding ring and band in for an evaluation and to possibly sell. We spoke to the owner who was immediately rude about the ring set. He was obviously trying to play down the ring set to get it at a really low price. Our ring is a Neil Lane certified diamond vintage bridal set (beautiful but its a smaller diamond, just under a carat) which we had appraised before going in. He was so rude and said the ring was of low quality. He stated they only buy higher quality yet the we buy old gold sign leads me to believe otherwise. He asked what we wanted for the ring and what others had offered. This place is nothing more than a pawn shop. Great for buyers but not great if you are looking to sale. Unless you are looking to sale Gold as their big sign states out front. They are not a classy jewelry store. Once again the OWNER was super rude and basically tried to bully us into selling the ring for a quarter of what it was worth. Thank goodness we knew what our ring was worth and we knew we would only get about half of the purchase price. Be Careful if you are wanting to sell and know before you go in what you have and what its really worth. I would describe this place as the used car lot of jewelry.

I was a victim of a Diamond Swap Scam.I knew the value of my diamond before I went to Len Larson for an appraisal/trade/sale. The typical behavior from a shady gemologist is to act like the diamond is worthless. After he implied my diamond was worthless, I took the piece back and proceeded to leave. He asked to see the piece again, offering to have someone else look at it. I was instructed to leave it a few days. Upon my return, I was offered a very low price and declined. I took the piece to my original insurance companys appraiser to clarify the discrepancy in price. He examined the diamond without leaving my presence. He informed me that the diamond did not match the characteristics of the certificate. The diamond was always kept in my banks safe deposit box. The only person to touch the diamond was the original Jewelry store that provided the certificate, my personal insurance appraiser (who agreed with the original certificate and who always tries to educate me on identifying stone markings), and Len Larson and Associates (who behaved suspiciously) My Insurance appraiser wrote up a report stating that my diamond was swapped for a low-quality diamond during the appraisal process at Len Larson Jewelers.

I had to get sized for my engagement ring, and so I randomly stopped into this store on my way home from work. They were so helpful and kind. I have thin fingers and they wrote down exactly what size I should get, and suggested adding sizing beads. No other jeweler has mentioned this. Again, so helpful and kind. Highly recommended!

DO NOT GO HERE! SCAMMERS! Len Larson the owner took advantage of me and my lack knowledge for jewlery. I asked to have a diamond removed from a pendant and come to find out he traded me out for a fake! This pendant belonged to my deceased mother! To confirm I was scammed...they never asked for my ID and they never had me fill out proper paperwork that is required by the state! Do not let these people take advantage of you like they did me.

I went there to sell my antique jewelry and I dont think the place lived up to all the previous reviews. I was given prices based on the stone and metal alone and the antique value was not assessed (I kept most of the pieces and plan to try again elsewhere to compare appraisals). While I was in with Len, another customer was waiting and I felt extremely rushed and like Len was having a hard time keeping track of all the details and prices for each piece. The final total was tallied up in a rush and I had to ask them to repeat it a few times so I could double check they had everything.
