Campus Diner is one of those places that you meet up with everybody you know. Especially on a Friday for lunch. Love this place and love the people.

Exactly what a diner should be. Great coffee, amazing (& huge) omelet, and spectacular service. All for reasonable prices. We stopped in for breakfast before heading over to the DIA - a short walk. Will definitely be back.

Staff is always nice even when they have a full house. Ive had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back.

I went to this restaurant recently for the first time and it is clearly popular with the locals. I personally witnessed the owner and some of the regulars bond over coffee. The food was not bad and the fries were really good. The service was also very attentive. Everything was going great until I saw a roach by my table on it back, when I looked closer it was also alive. This was the first time I saw a roach in a restaurant and if me and my family hadnt already ate we wouldve left. ( I have attached pictures for proof)

The place was clean staff friendly, but the food was bland and the coffee was bitter no matter how much can and sugar I put in it it was still bitter! Wow about 15yrs ago I use to live eating at this place but its not the same that it use to be.

Huge portions and kind staff! Food was good but not as incredible as some of the reviews make it out to be. Slightly above average of your typical dinner.

This is a average size diner that serves an assortment of food. Diverse crowd, comfortable and pretty reasonably priced. I usually go here for lunch and get breakfast (grilled chicken skillet). If the heavens smile on you and you go when the right cook is there the food is excellent .

Very friendly diner with lovely, bright art on the walls! Food is tasty and well-priced, affordable for even college students. Good service that puts a smile on your face!

Took twenty minutes to get a burger and fries. They were not busy. The burger tasted average. They did not check on me until after I was done and they were giving me the bill. The place was clean.

Excellent diner/coney, right near Wayne State. Ive been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Ive gotten to know many of the waitresses and the owner, and they are all great folks. Highly recommended!

Solid place in Midtown / Wayne State area to get breakfast or lunch. No frills greasy spoon with friendly staff. Omelettes and sandwiches are my go-to regulars here.

This place is the worst dinner and dirty. Never check on us. And yes i agree you are treated like family (fake) untill they charge u 2 time for same meal, a scam, used to be a nice place to eat, they only got maybe 2 waitresses and one of them i thing ang? She is a bad mood all the yim never smiles like she used yoo. Telling her cook how terriable thier boss is. Yelling at the dishwasher . she is sloppy.

Nice staff but seriously awful food. Everything from the cream to butter to syrup is fake processed substitutes left out warm on the counter. I figured french toast and sausage patties were a safe bet but was very wrong. The French toast was still wet with raw egg and the sausage was clearly just from a frozen pack, as they were super hard and really just gross. I left my money on the table and left because I wouldnt know how to say everything is just plain bad. I really didnt want any substitute, just wanted to not ever eat at that place again. Clean and convenient to WSU students but seriously so so bad.

Good old fashioned diner, close to museums

Tables were undocumented extreamly dirty and sticky. The food was just not pleasent at all and the place was generally gross.

Waitress was not good at all. Had to wait for 20 minutes just to get our drink order another 10 minutes to get the pop and coffee then had to wait another 10 to place our food order and the wait for food was 25... Horrible

3.99 Breakfast special was quick and portions were generous. Service was excellent.

Solid diner in the city, breakfast includes pretty big portions, good value, will def come back, only reason Im not giving 5 stars is that the ice tea tasted like it was made from a mixture (not brewed)

This is one of my favourite places to eat near Wayne state university, the skillets are cheap and you get a ton of good food with it.

Would give this a 0. Chicken gyro came without anything No seasoning and raw veggies Had to put it together myself and isnt even cooked well. Never coming back 0/10. DISGUSTING
