Everyday different time they close never have things u need ...to they close at 4 at 350 they said they closing because they dont have air its ten mins til close

My experiences here have always been positive. I get what I need for home repairs, staff is always friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. I just wish it was cleaner.

They charges outrageous prices because they know people in the neighborhood dont have a lot of options. It smells funky and the workers are mean, rude and not very helpful. The lady at the register was so rude and funky like she was at home. They have a big nasty cat that sits on the counter and will not move when you try to get help and they wont make it move. Ill walk to home depot before I ever give them one dollar of my money.

This place has been here for over 40 plus years. It needs a whole entire makeover. However, they usually have what you need. I appreciate the service.

They have a lot of useful supplies at time which save me time as a short cut from traveling to home depot or lows etc.. Its just that im usually harassed by the employees there /they follow me and give me difficult times and treat me as if Im stealing. something when I have been to this store and have spent hundreds of dollars each time on different occasions.

Always great bargains. No waiting. Shelves are stocked. Clean environment. Courteous and knowledgeable staff.

I have been going to the store in my family for years now the South are absolutely wonderful and they go beyond the Call of Duty to make certain that you could get everything that you want and other things that you think that you didnt want to help you with your home improvements or anything else that you join theyre wonderful people what wonderful prices and I just love that place me and my family is great family fun shopping

Great staff friendly will go out of their way to help and assist. Its great to have the hardware store here in Detroit.They have two cats I forget this cats name, but this is also what gives this hardware store that down-home feel it makes it real personal if you go to the big box stores youre not going to have a cool cat like this to make friends with.I work as a maintenance man for an apartment management company, and frequently I will get what I need herethey dont have everything that the big box stores do but this is a lot closer then the big box stores gamma and if they dont have something they can order it for you.

If you have a hard time finding something, if its made, they usually have it. Always someone ready to help you find it.

I prefer to shop at the little guys store over the big-box stores. Shop local, keep the independent businesses alive !

Ace hardware goes above and beyond too make sure that there customers are satisfied and prices are very reasonable! They have something for all ages and the gentleman will assist you too the car if you have a large purchase and I honestly hope that they will continue too our neighborhood hardware store 😄

Old Detroit hardware store. Have a bit of everything it would seem. Some refurb bicycles and repairs too! And a staff that is glad to help. Dont forget to pet the awesome cat before you leave!

This is n old fashioned hardware store which I like. What I dont like is that its become more of a bike store and its overall stock isnt what it used to be.

Listen this place is a hidden gym for bike lovers. Thats right bike lovers they have some of the best selections in the city located in Highland Park. I went there you know for the usual stuff you would expect to find at a hardware store and stumbled upon this rare gym of bike selections. I mean high quality bikes motorized and manual. I was totally shocked but in a good way. To look at the place from the outside its not very memorable, so much for surface impressions. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly they stay well stocked of all types of tools and painting supplies you can even luck up on some very affordable floor tiles. If they do run out theyll order it for you. People in the area have known about this best kept secret for years but shhh. You didnt here it from me 😄.

This store is old, but it has what you need. This place is truly your neighborhood hardware store. I remember coming to this store with my grandfather as a little girl. Im in my 40s now. This store is a staple in the community.

I still want to love this place, but in my fifteen years as a resident of Highland Park the store has changed a lot. It has gone from being a great hardware store to basically a bike shop with little hardware to speak of. I used to shop there every other week when my daughter was little. Honestly, Id rather visit a local independently owned hardware store vs. Lowme Despots but over the past few years the hardware and home improvement advice has dropped to almost nil. So, I have been visiting other Ace Hardware franchises. I really hope the bike shop aspect works out for them, but if you want a hardware store I recommended visiting another Ace Hardware.

This hardware store has been here since I was a little kid before there was a home depot or lowes anywhere in our area. I highly recommend coming here especially for things like getting a key made. I went to walmart to get a key cut and had it redone 3 times- 3 TIMES-and it was still not cut right, came here and it was done right the first time. It may be a little run down but hey it is a hardware store-what do u want a pretty shiny fancy store that cant help u or a place that is a little worn down, a little lived in, with character that can help u get the job done? I wanna get the job done.

It could use some building remodeling and some more inventory selection. It is however a great place within walking distance from my house to find small and hard to find home repair items. Needs an outdoor garden department, especially in the Summer. Last hardware store in my neighborhood so I support it as much as possible.
