I showed up to Kenwood Muffler & Brake Center with a sheared muffler and no appointment. They got to my truck quickly and cut/spliced/welded a new section of exhaust at a very reasonable price. Beautiful welds and professional service. Would highly recommend.

These guys are awesome! Dealership quoted me almost $500 for my drums, and these guys did the brake job for less than $200. Honest, and kind employees. There was an issue with the first set of drums they put on my car (manufacturing error) and they had me come in a few days later and replaced the flawed ones at no charge. Will definitely be going back!

This is my go to muffler exhaust place. They fix whats broken and do a great job. Their prices are very fair and they stand behind their work. I have been going there for 20 years. First come first served. This is old fashioned good service repair of your car. Exhaust, brakes are their specialty.

I had my catalytic converter stolen and needed it replaced for my Prius and they did it so quick I am impressed with how fast, efficient, and friendly they are! I didnt have an appointment for it and they got it done in under 45 mins. Ill be coming back when I need other repairs done from here on out.

I had a brake line that I replaced begin leaking, I decided to have it brought here to finish off the final steps as I was sick of dealing with it. I never had any experiences with these guys but the reviews were enough to decide to get it towed there, I spoke with Jen beforehand to set everything up. The day comes along to have it dropped off and I expected it to be there at the least all day as I never really expected much from shops cause of previous experiences. Lo and behold 1.5 hours passed and I got a call from them saying they just finished up bleeding everything! The brakes feel solid and Ive never seen my truck without something leaking before! Definitely sticking with these guys for any future exhaust/brake services. The other shops I contacted at the same time as Kenwood havent even responded yet!

Paid 900.00 for the install of a custom exhaust system and the exhaust was rubbing on the chassis 5 different places.I had to purchase a U bolt, loosen the exhaust fittings drill 2 holes in a frame support and use the U bolt to anchor the exhaust 1/4 inch lower at the Y pipe.It was stated no warranty on the exhaust because we did not purchase through them,thats fine.I paid you to install the exhaust no matter what it took, so I could drive the vehicle.Not happy.There is no way I would ever let my work, leave my business undone.Tony and Carole Fredericksen

Brought my car in due to exhaust coming under the hood. They got me in right away and identified the issue within minutes, for free. It was relatively cheap when I agreed to get it fixed and they also gave me a 10% student discount. Staff was friendly and the work was done in half an hour.

These guys are great. They are reasonably priced, quick and honest. I have had them do work on my Saab exhaust and it was twenty bucks, 6 months later it is still fine. Also did all my front end work on my 3500 gmc truck and it is great. I highly recommend this shop to anyone.

These people saved me about $900 today. Need I say more? I probably dont have to, but I will.Instead of replacing an entire exhaust system, these folks mended a hole in a pipe. My muffler had been extremely loud and obviously broken and disconnected. I brought it to Kenwood Muffler on a Saturday morning just hoping they could get it done in a reasonable amount of time. I was not aware that the amount of time would be a measly 25 minutes!! I barely had time to run to the bank by the time the vehicle was off the lift and quiet as a church mouse. Cost was very acceptable and comparable to other places. The exhaust pipe decided to break again just over two weeks later, only this time a few feet farther back than the first break. I call on a Monday morning to see if I could get the vehicle in and he says to come on down and he will take care of it. I figured that I would be paying the same amount as before, seeing as the break was not their welding mistake but just a terribly rotted out exhaust pipe. The second fix literally took only 10 minutes total and I walked out of there paying only TWENTY DOLLARS and being an extremely happy person. I would recommend Kenwood Muffler to anyone needing work done on their exhaust system; their friendliness was very welcoming, the speediness is fantastic for a person not having much time to sit around waiting, and you cant beat the price...5+ Stars!

They were very thorough, and fixed a tricky brake problem.

I have brought multiple vehicles into them now because we work close by. With no appointment, theyve got them in almost immediately - the last time was about 30 mins before their closing. They diagnosed then since theyve got to know me, took the (much appreciated) liberty of actually getting the issue fixed & part installed which I did not even expect to get done same-day and figured Id have to use Uber to leave. They are honest and have told me straight that I have more brake pad life left and to come back in a few months versus change them now.

The man worked at the most 45 min. They charged me 80 labor and 130 for a flex pipe and some other pieces if a pipe.$ 210. So fir anyone else that says they are not expensive thats not what I experienced.

My experience there was very odd... although the $$ seemed rather favorable... everything else was very drawn out and in the end incomplete.Day 1 - Got a quote. Seemed like great people I went there for new brakes because mine were screeching horribly -- a job long overdue. They informed me I needed two new serpentine belts, front brake and rotors, and a bit of muffler work. I had heard my back brakes quite a bit.. and a friend had even showed me how ate up they were, but they insisted I didnt need them. They never did call when the inspection was completed like we had asked -- so that was rather curious.Day 2 - Brought truck in to get repaired. My wife had to loom around the area with our children waiting for their call.. and they never did call her. She walked back to check on the status to find it done. We needed an oil change because we hardly had any oil in it, I guess [not car folks as you can tell] so they brought our truck next door which was convenient. When my wife drove home, she said it made these crazy screeching noises from the hood and said the brakes were squealing down the hills still. We checked it out after she parked and the car wouldnt start. Had to charge the battery for a few hours.We called the guys to ask about the screeching.. thinking they left the radio on or something and thats why the battery died. They said the screech was because oil had gotten on the belt when they replaced it but it should eventually subside. We had errands to do and it was.... such a bother -- the noise. Every time we started and went again, it sounded like we were dragging a dinosaur.... Friends later told us the serpentine belt is what charges the battery, so that explained why our car died when we got home.Day 3 - Went back in the morning to find out the serpentine belt wasnt tight enough. He did it on the spot -- very nice. Asked about the brakes/screeching -- said they looked fine when he had done them.Day 4 - Still had dinosaur screeching from the hood every time we started, and the brakes STILL SCREECHED. They offered to tighten the belt on spot again....and insisted the back brakes were fine and perhaps it was a spring had come off but it should be fine.A week later ... still screeching brakes...Cant say Ill go there again.. even if the price seemed better than my dealership. Having to check back half a week to have them finish their job, and practically beg them to actually change out my brakes... is worth the extra money of having it paid more to have the job done right.Aint nobody got time for that...

I have a 2004 Chrysler Sebring. The battery is located behind the drivers side tire. Every other place in Duluth was going to charge extra because of this inconvenient battery position. They did it within two hours of when I brought it in, and charged $30 less than the cheapest competition. They were also very friendly.
