I was up from TX visiting my little girl in MN. As we typically do this time of year, we headed up to Duluth to see the sites. Unfortunately she was sent with Daddy (me) without boots. So when we made it up to Duluth, I stopped into the store here and happened to speak with Tim the owner. I explained the situation, that I just needed a warm dry pair of boots, “nothing crazy” (given it was snowing at the time but I didn’t want to drop $150 on boots). He found a perfect pair very reasonably priced. He even threw in a dry pair of socks. It’s stores like this that are worth supporting. Made my daddy-daughter time a little easier.

This was my first visit to the store. This store has excellent customer service! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and listens to what youre looking for in particular in a shoe. Theres plenty of style choices for many foot types. I have a wide foot with no arch and plantar fasciitis and they still had many choices to pick from. Ill definitely be a returning customer.

Generally good service, unlike other local shoestores they generally stay out of your way and allow you to decide yourself, checking in to make sure things are good. If you prefer direct make-the-sale service Id go to another store, but I prefer this style!Had more training shoe selection in my size than the other stores and had good prices. Stocks on spike shoes were a bit lacking, however.

It seems to be a sell-srll store. Many styles but it felt like I was expected to make a purchase if I was in a chair. I made a purchase but the toe box wasnt as big as I was told...my fault for not returning them.

Was a longtime customer. Was sold a pair of shoes that had a factory defect. It was obvious as to the nature of the shoe failure. The owner would not help me resolve my warranty claim. I had to contact the manufacturer directly. Ill be buying all my shoes directly from the factory online. Over a decade of loyalty down the toilet. Ill be telling all my friends about this experience. Shoppers beware at this store.

This is a fabulous footwear store. I need Brooks Beast / Addiction shoes for my terrible flat feet -- Tortoise and Hare is the only place in town Ive found that stocks them, in wide widths besides.
