Best walk in atmosphere of any coffee shop Ive ever been to and Ive been all over the US, especially the NW. 10/10. Coffee was great and beautiful, dessert was beautiful and satisfying.

Hands down the best coffee in Cork city. The treats are unreal: any of them, but ‘death by peanut butter’ is super delish. Staff is nice too (extra points for not making me feel awkward when i spoiled the coffee earlier on today).Highly recommended.

Theres a great selection of different types of coffee here. It caters to a everyone in my opinion. The lads know what theyre doing and the coffee is amazing. They offer treats and sandwiches as far as I can see. Reminds me of coffee shops in Amsterdam and Berlin. Very relaxed atmosphere and its very welcoming.

One of the few speciality coffee spots in cork city.You have Pink Moon on Washington street too.This spot is also a roaster and you’ll see here coffee sold all around Ireland.The desserts and cakes they sell are amazing, they come from a small cork bakery I believe.The vibe inside is very cool and they sell lots of speciality coffee equipment, good prices on filters too, no need to buy online.The outdoor seating in the newly pedestrianised street is the best spot when it’s sunny.I think the outdoor area could be even nicer with plants and more stuff added.Overall one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to.So nice to see speciality coffee doing well.

Omg the ambience is everything!!! I feel like I’m in the woods ... they have live music too. Variety of food n coffee is the best !!! Amazing merch and staff is very friendly. They have their own roasters inside. Industrial vibe.My only problem would be the staff is not that organized when it comes to cleaning tables. But other than that everything is great. Very young vibe!!!

I make sure I drop in here every week; not only for the great coffee (which is now being used in our office and home too) but mostly for the amazing team behind the counter. The people working here are absolutely brilliant and they are never short on smiles and friendly vibes on each and every visit.

Lovely vegan hot chocolate using real dark chocolate with a few options of dairy free milks, I’m allergic to oats and many places only have oat as the dairy free option so it’s nice they have choice.

I love coming to SOMA for my coffee fix. I ve gotten to to the guys behind the bar. SOMA has hosted coffee cuppings, dj Sundays, and other events throughout their first year of being open in Cork city. They definitely appeal to a trendy crowd as well as business minded people. Their sandwiches/toasties tickle your taste buds. Their coffee makes a strong entrance while leaving a pleasent gracious aftertaste. They have recently added Danero Chocolates to their collection of desserts and treats. They also provide table service which is a nice touch.

Stopped by for lunch. Amazing coffee made by an experienced barista. The latte milk was perfectly smooth and the espresso made from top quality beans. I had the Goats Cheese and Beetroot veggie toasted sandwich too. This was served with a small salad and was delicious. The space is fitted out in a hip urban way but still with a cosy coffeeshop feel. Just over €10 for the large latte and sandwich, well worth it.

Some Coffee is a recent addition to the specialty coffee scene in Cork. They host West Cork Coffee. The gentlemen behind the bar are very well educated and knowledgeable about coffee. Besides coffee they support the local community by bringing in local baked goods and sweets. They also have toasties for a quick lunch. Quite often they bring in a dj on Sundays. The music is super chilled and upbeat. The are a few plugs for your computer or device. The wifi is solid. You can get your keep cups and your other coffee requirements.

Great atmosphere, Amazing cappuccino, Oreo brownies and the staff. Good music and irregular tables makes this place a superb place to enjoy your coffee break.Highly recommend!

Soma is probably everything you ideally want from an independent café. Good coffee, roasted in house and served with care. The interior of their premises is quite unusual with an almost tough industrial look but with a funky modern feel. Staff are friendly and there’s plenty of ground coffee and drinking paraphernalia to buy in store. A welcome addition to Cork food and drink scene.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland previously closed the Soma restaurant and café on Tuckey Street in Cork due to a grave and immediate danger to public health.It said rodent droppings were found in the service area of the restaurant and in a store room, where both food and non-food items were kept.

The hot chocolate was nice but I must say I wasnt impressed with the 2 young lads behind the counter making my hot drink with their masks down under their nose on the eve of another lockdown when were told numbers of covid19 cases have skyrocketed.

Passionate and knowledgeable baristas serving great coffee. What more could you want?This shop has very nice vibes and friendly staff who greet you the moment you walk in. Even whilst busy I was able to engage in deep conversation with the barista about the coffees they had on offer along with great coffees we have both tried in different places. This for me is what drinking coffee is about, it’s more than a drink it should be a sensory experience.While there I had a great Natural Brazilian espresso along with a very flavourful washed Kenyan on v60 (Did someone say blackcurrant?)100% will return when back in Cork again, hopefully when less busy so I can talk more coffee talk.

This place always irritates me. It makes fantastic coffee, is a great place to catch up with friends and, when quiet, a nice place to study. But the guys are just never nice. Theyre always a thin line away from being rude. So Ive become an opportunistic client rather than a usual. Shame really.

As always excellent coffee and a fairly relaxed environment. My only gripe would be the single chairs seems to be slowly disintegrating, so try to get your back to the wall! :)
