The gentlemen working the counter has great patience, but instead of making everyone wait in line as if they were all there for the PS5 he should have asked people if they where there for something else. I waited almost a hour just to pick up a game I ordered online. He also none stopped continued to answer the phone which made him take 10-15 minutes with each customer. I will say he was the only one there but he definitely could have had customers out the door way faster.

Anything video games, this is your place. Not as cool as it used to be back in the funco land days when they used to have consoles setup for in store gaming, but I still enjoy there establishment.

I have been to this GS so many times over the years it was hard to admit some issues. The game release parties, the X-box setups in-house and large selection of games are great. Things have changed in the game industry and I had some experiences at this particular store where I could get better prices somewhere else - anyway, the action is many times online now. If you need a quick fix, the staff is usually very helpful and nice.

The man that was working at the eagan store on 11-23-2020, at 12:15pm. Was rude, he acted like he didn’t have any desire to help anyone, he was very unfriendly. Needless to say I left and went to the Burnsville store, and received great customer service.

Corrupt company that needs to go. Corporate forces employees to push unnecessary protection plans and fires anyone who doesnt. NEVER pre-purchase games! If the store you go to closes you will never get that money back. Do NOT SELL YOUR PHONE TO GAMESTOP! EVER! Executives are just trying to make their bonuses while the company burns. Avoid!

I used to frequent this store. Went to buy a copy of Rainbow Six Siege Gold Edition for Xbox One. The label said $35. Patrick pulled the regular edition from behind the counter. When I pointed it out, he said the gold edition was $10 more. Patrick would not honor the price as marked. In the future, Ill go where prices are labeled accurately; not where they lack the integrity to sell items as marked.

Robotic employeesThis is probably my third time coming to this store. Considering I live relatively close to this store, Id definitely rather drive to a different gamestop. The staff seems like they dont want to be there, I feel rushed. The non verbals I get from the manager make me seem like Im in the wrong for just shopping. I just get a very bad feeling when I shop here. Even though the staff is knowledgeable, being a human at your job is important too. Sure following store protocol and procedures is important, but having personality is key too. I get it the day to day of a job is tedious, but at the end of it all. This is my experience being in the store! Coming here made me less excited about buying a console for sure. This is my honest feedback.

The store was well organized and well staffed in the afternoon on Black Friday. One guy took my games so he could fish out the disks while I was waiting in line, which sped things up.

Came here to buy the one NES Classic controller that they had in stock. The first employee we talked to said he didnt see it behind the counter, so inventory must be wrong. A second employee did more looking after I asked about other options. He made a phone call and told me that the controller was in the store on hold for an employee who was coming in to purchase it since the employee couldnt buy the controller after it was returned. Now, we are on our way to a location farther from our house to buy a wireless controller. Definitely not a good experience.

I have a love-hate relationship with these places as Im sure most do. I hate their business practices but I do love the fact that most of them have people in them who just love to talk about and play games. This one was no exception. My companion came in to sell a phone and I wandered around the store looking at stuff and chit chatting with the other associate. When the transaction was completed, we ended up getting a couple of small items (I found a copy of Burger Kings Big Bumpin game and an extra controller) and this was all good. I even talked with the other associate about a few games that I saw that were being released that I had no idea were coming and we were talking about how they were spin off titles and not true triple A releases. Very knowledgeable duo. But then the business side had to cut in an ruin the damn thing. No, I dont want protection for my purchases. Fine, yes I will sign up for your mega special players card or whatever it is. I know they are forced to do this and they are tracked on how many of these memberships are sold. I feel I did my part to help but Gamestop should listen to its customer base and stop forcing the associates to do this predatory practice!! I gave this visit a 5 based solely on the team working the store, NOT the store itself.

Been a customer here for many years. Had a few negative experiences, but they were resolved. The employees are usually nice when I get help. I always love coming in to buy/look at the games and consoles. I would never go anywhere else (besides Best Buy, Lol)!

This store is a breath of fresh air compared to the West St. Paul location. Staff isnt rude and condescending. They try to upsell a lot but that is their job so I dont mind. The guy at WSP location always made me feel like I was a nuisance and didnt belong so its great when I am actually treated decently.

Honestly, Im not the biggest fan of GameStop, however after working with Bob (The Store Manager) Id totally recommend giving GameStop in Eagan a chance to anyone looking for a game for there kids, adult-kid, or adults seeking advice or just picking up a cheap game.

I decided to trade in my ps4 for an xbox1.me and a friend went to the eagan location.the staff there was extremely nice and helpful and very knowledgeable about what they were selling.the staff members there gave me the hook-up and also help me save $$$money$$$ he went out of his way to make sure i saved the most money,he mention their Saturday clearance deal.overall this location and employees were helpful, insightful and straight up awesome
