I was in today and didn’t get the gals name that was working-but she was the most impressive part of my experience.I walked through the location and it was a total disaster-dirty and in disarray.I brought it to the attention of that employee, making sure to preface my comments by saying I knew it was not her fault the location was in such bad shape. She kindly asked me to show her what I meant and she apologized and said they are moving in a few months and that may be the reason.Anyway, I thought Sephora the business should take more pride in their location. I only ever see one worker at a time there now and many times there is no one.Your employee did a great job making me feel like she cared-I’m sure very hard to do when you’re not supported by your employer.Clean it up Sephora!
Worst customer service, rather buy online. Will not return to this location.
Abby is the best! My favorite Foundation has been discontinued by Urban Decay and she took the time to walk me through a few other brands, along with testing some colors. I really wish Sephoras color match system worked more consistently, but until then were lucky to have workers like Abby!
Let me start by saying I love SEPHORA! I buy all my drunk elephant products from here and being a MUA I’m always buying new products to try out. I used to love this location but I’ve noticed in recent months the employees are down right rude. I don’t feel like a valued customer ever at this location anymore. will not be returning.
Super disorganized store. Was looking for multiple different particular eyeliners. Sephora employee was to no help to find anything. Simply just told me she had no idea what I was talking about. Also was out of stock of everything I came there to get.
This review is a couple of weeks later than my visit, but they were awesome! Schelly is absolutely amazing! She suggested products to help my skin, and now it just glows. I am excited to make an appointment to get my face done! Thanks for having such a knowledgeable and professional person on staff!
This store is a hit or miss, Ive been here several times and always had different experiences. I really think it depends on who is working. Some ladys will ignore you as if you are not there and it is absolutely ridiculous (This happens most of the time). However, I have had a handful of times that someone will come up and help me find what I need or make recommendations that I end up walking out with. I think they just need better employees (not all but some).
Very disappointed when no employees offer to help you, and when I asked for help it seemed as though it was an inconvenience to bother the employees while they chatted amongst themselves. They should be experts and when I asked for a recommendation for a bronzer they said they didn’t really know. It wouldn’t be that big of deal if I wasn’t spending $200, but for that price I expect some helpful and kind employees that do not rush you. I will say the quality of the makeup is good, just the customer service is not.
My sister and I were treated as if we were not paying customers. Assuming because we were not wearing makeup. Manager (assuming because she wasn’t wearing the Sephora smock) was rude, didn’t want to supply samples, didn’t want to answer questions. She also had subpar makeup on, grown out nails, and an attitude out of this world. Instead of assisting us she just sat there consulting with another Sephora employee. The unprofessionalism was real, and they should consider finding someone who is actually passionate about makeup and giving customers an experience they will remember. And not a bad taste in their mouths. Will never be returning or spending my money at this Sephora, I’ll just head to Ridgedale!-(Previous Sephora Employee and VIB Rouge Member)Edit: Makeup was also out of stock and instead of asking if we’d like her to call another store and check if they had it in stock, she instead said we could have the item shipped to the store. But it would take two weeks. No thank you.
I love Sephora, but this location was not organized. Many products where not stocked, and many samples were empty. It did not reflect well the company.
I drove all the way to the store to see a product the online system claimed they had in stock. They did not have the product out for display and the associate was beyond rude when I asked for help. She said the product was in a box and she would only get it out for rouge members. She then continued what she was doing, assuming I was not a rouge member. It just so happens that I am a rouge member, but that should not make any difference in my opinion- all of their customers should be given great service and treated as potential rouge members. I will stay away from this location from now on!
Every time I come in everyone is super helpful and friendly and really takes time to help me find what I need. Its definitely my go to place for any skincare/makeup/etc.
The worst customer service! I’d much rather buy things online without trying them versus step another foot in this location. Staff is awful!
Service was terrible. Not once got offered any help. Had to dig through drawers to find my own things. Then the girl didnt put all my items in my bag that I paid for and I had to go back and get them.
5 stars.Recommnded.
Definitely my favorite Sephora location that I visit the most besides the one at Ridgedale. The workers here are nice and helpful, they arent pushy and snobby like the ones at Mall of America. They all seem really down-to-earth. My only complaint is that they always give me the wrong shade. They would match me and tell me my shade, then would come back giving me the wrong shade; thankfully I always double-check them in the cash register line so that I can quickly swap it out for my actual shade. It just seems like they are always in a rush.
First I want to say I dont know anything about make up but I had recently undergone LASIK so now I no longer had my glasses to cover up the dark circles around my eyes that I was given by my father. So when I walked into the store I was a bit overwhelmed because HOLY MAKE UP! I looked at the bare mineral powders and such right in front of the store and I decided it would be best if I were to just ask for help. I asked Kacey (I believe that is how you spell it, sorry if it is not). She seemed so very happy to help (even if it was a fake customer service happy, she pulled it off VERY well). She brought over 6 different shade of foundation powder, 2 liquid concealers and tried each on me to help me figure out which would be the best fit. Now we had that figured out She also told me about a color correcting fluid that would help ton down the dark circles around my eyes that I was trying to hide. She put it on and put the concealer over it and the foundation over all of that. It looked GREAT. I couldnt of been happier with how it turned out. Now when I go into a store like this I expect people to try and sale items a TON because I assume they work off of their commission. Kacey however did not do that. She recommended two items which was the coloring correcting fluid which clearly helped and also a depuff and brightener cream that at that point I passed on because I wasnt too sure about it but she put together a sample for me to try which I thought was awesome because when I told her I would think about it she didnt push it down my throat like others may have. We get to the check out and she tells me the total.... it was over $80! No one in their right mind would spend $80 on make up... Or maybe its just me who wouldnt spend $80 on make up. I bit the bullet and accepted the cost because I knew these items would work. Kacey asked me to do the survey at the bottom of my receipt because that is the only way they really get a Good job or an Atta boy so of course I agreed because Ive been in her shoes before. I did the survey in which received a $10 coupon. So I went back a few days later thinking I had $10 off any item and got the cream. The second person who helped me was by fair not as friendly as Kacey. She helped me check out and I said that I had a coupon. She took my phone to read the fine print (which I should have done as well apparently) and said excludes Sephora products. So I bit the bullet again and spent another $33 on this cream. I know I got a bit of the higher end make up but over $100 on make up? This is why one star was taken off as well as how rude the other lady was and how the survey I took for a Sephora associate but I wasnt able to use it there. Yes, I understand the coupon was only $10 but when I barely buy make up for $10 at Wal-Mart, I could of used that savings. Overall I will go back because now I know what I need and wont need much help going forward. If you go and need help I would find Kacey if possible.
This store is a mess. Every time I go, it gets worse and worse. I visited the store on 8/29 around 4pm. The store was messier than I have ever seen it. The make up samples are In the wrong slot or they are empty or out of stock. I walked around hoping for some help but there was only one person working. So I walked around a bit more waiting for her to finish with the customer. There were about 6 or 7 other customers walking around and it looked like they needed help too. I finally walked up to the front and realized the girl wasn’t working, she walk talking to her friends. I walked away annoyed and grabbed a couple things and walked up to the girl so she could check me out. When she was done she threw my bag at me and started walking back to her friends. I saw someone walking up behind me and noticed she was annoyed that she had to check someone else out.Seriously this girl lowered the standards of Sephora in Eden Prarie for the last time. I will not go back.
Made my girlfriend happy therfore I am happy
