Beautiful, clean and well stocked. High end department store like back in the day.

The Eden Prairie store is beautiful. Was there on a Saturday about 2pm. As you enter, you hear piano music...live! An elderly gentlemen sits playing soothing tunes near the elevators. Employees are helpful, knowledgeable & seem to like their job. If you buy something in fragrances, they will gift wrap it for free & send it free to its destination (bought perfume for my cousin in California). The place is huge. Reminds me of Daytons 50 years ago. The store is open, airy & so clean. Fresh. Marble floors & a nice selection of clothes. Buy your cosmetics, handbags, fragrances...you name it they got it. Definitely Hi EndEmployees are helpful & are constantly busy. On the expensive side, but the selection & shopping experience is worth it. Located in a large mall - a lot of road construction & detours getting there, but worth the trip. Eden Prairie Center is gorgeous...everything you need.

The Von Maur is my go to for gifts, shoes, makeup, and of course clothes. I love the options, the quality and the uniqueness the buyers bring. The customer service is amazing.

Amazing! I have been to von maur 4 times in the last 3 weeks for weddings and homecoming. Each time the service in the mens department is 5 stars. Especially our trip today when Nick helped us. Would recommend 100%

This is the best department store in rge area in my opinion. They have nice clothes that are nicely laid out and organized and have excellent customer service. I recommend coming here if you need nice dress clothes or any high quality shoes or other clothes. Not the cheapest place, but you are getting good customer service for the prices you pay.

Von Maur is my favorite department store. I have been going there for years. It is a beautiful store and is always well staffed. All the sales people that work here are genuinely courteous, helpful and friendly. They always go above and beyond to assist customers in finding what they are looking for. This incudes not only in their store but taking the time to see if an item might be available at another store, as well. They will then have it shipped to your home. Order picked is such a wonderful service that they now provide. All you have to do is call the store when you arrive and someone will run your purchase out to you in your vehicle. 😊 Thank you 😊

My husband and I visited Von Maur looking for me a pair of shoes but before walking out into the mall he stopped by the mens department to ask the salesperson if she knew how to tie a bow tie. The salesperson didnt know and asked another associate if she knew. Neither of the ladies knew how and since we were heading out into the mall we figured that we would YouTube it when we got home. Well on our way back through VonMaur on our way to the car the ladies were practicing how to tie a bowtie on a paper towel roll and told my husband that they youtubed it and that they could now show him. He was so blown away by the customer service that he didnt mind the rest of the shopping trip!!

Terrible staff. They dont know anything about their own store. Every thing is highly overpriced and all shoe models are older and something you will find in outlet malls.

They have a heck of a lot of baby clothes. Cute and at many different price points.

Exceptional shopping in the SW suburbs of MPLS. Exquisite brands, terrific selection and talented/ skilled buyers in tune with upcoming trend. I’m most impressed with the customer service, free shipping, women’s shoe department (Sammy), accessories & handbag selection (Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade, Coach, etc), men’s furnishing and the overall shopping “experience”. There is now a second location in the Rosedale Mall.

I want to start by saying that I am a regular at Von Maur, love the store, & have shopped here for years. I especially like the following departments; Cosmetics-Cindy at Channel is friendly, very helpful & personable. Never forgets to call me when there is a special event or promotion. Women’s contemporary- has great jeans & some of the classic mixed with current trends. (However, the Boho look this past season was abundant with not a lot of other selections). Mandy is always helpful & remembers exactly what I like. Also, The shoe department has great selections! However, the reason I’m only giving a 3 star tonight is because; ***What has happened to the fine dress department? Dresses are very matronly, & look more like Mother of the Bride only selections. Fabrics are thick & unflattering. This felt. has changed drastically the past 2 years. Also, the men’s department is getting rid of some great designers like Hugo Boss & going more towards golf wear, Tommy Bahama, etc. Selections are reminding me of the fine dress dept. It is hard to find waist sizes for men ranging from 30 to 34. But, there seems to be an abundance of size 36 and above? I feel that many areas of the store are becoming much more conservative? Just because we live in MN., we still like to look classy, somewhat trendy, & would love to see more “diversity” in styles.

Prices are mostly suggested retail and can be a bit of sticker shock. However, the customer service is wonderful and they have a large variety of top brands. If you are looking for a Marshall’s/Home Goods type of place, this is not it. Von Maur is up the ladder a bit. They do offer a store credit card that has no interest, ever, as long as you make your monthly payment.

Von Maur is my favorite department store and I feel lucky that we have one in Eden Prairie! Von Maur carries higher end brands in smaller quantities than Macys, for example, with helpful, friendly staff and without chaos!

Parker, in the shoe department was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I came in looking for Birkenstock sandals today and he was very helpful. He brought out every size, color and style sandal we asked for with a smile on his face. He stayed with us while we tried them on and helped us decide on the best sizing/style, cleaned up the dozens of sandals we didn’t end up choosing (lol, thank you for being patient with us) and rung us up at the register all within 15 minutes. Seriously, this was one of the best customer service experiences we’ve had in quite some time. Thank you Parker! :)

First time in this store and I fell in love right away this place is amazing.from the very elegant ladies room to the. Beautiful dressing rooms to the very friendly staff that greeted me after. My first 10 steps through the door. I enjoyed every second. I walked into the store from the 2nd level mall access and I once I seen all the pretty dresses I had to try them on. I spent about 1 hour trying on dresses and cute outfits. I will be returning often to see all the pretty new dresses.

This is a nice dept store for shopping any time of year. I always have a great experience in the clothing, cosmetics, accessories depts. The shoes dept is always a poor experience. The home dept is lacking in customer service as well. I definitely think the employees are helpful In any dept except shoes and home. My last experience was was uncomfortable, as employees were sassing each other in shoes. I was clearly trying to find assistance and was completely ignored as the employees argued at the counter. It was the worst shoe dept experience I have had. The home section was stocked with a wide variety of lovely items, but the salesperson was very standoffish. Not like the other sales persons in any other dept. All in all the store always has plenty of beautiful items, great gift options, nice gift boxes and a great customer service dept if you have further requests or needs. The store feels like it is almost in a time capsule. I wish there were more locations.

Daisy in the gift department is wonderful. Outstanding customer service. We had a fun time with her as we shopped for several Christmas gifts!

Serene shopping experience. Not a lot of other customers on Tuesday evening. Calming decor and music, well labeled sections and very helpful staff. Sue found me several coordinating clothing items from both new and sale racks for the first item I chose which makes it more useful. I will be shopping there again.

My girlfriend and I were here today looking for a dress for me to wear to her brothers wedding that’s in 3 weeks. My girlfriend came into the dressing room with me but stayed in the waiting area inside the dressing room. As I was trying on dresses she was asked to leave the dressing room, due to her appearance as more masculine by an older white women who was working the dressing room area. I was looking for my girlfriend when another customer told me she was asked to leave. At that point I stopped trying on dresses and found my girlfriend to ask for a manager. The manager took down our names and that was it and asked if we still wanted to purchase anything. I will never ever shop there again. Never in my life have I ever felt more unwelcome and felt such discrimination because my girlfriend appears more masculine. Very disappointed.

I love this store! The staff is very helpful and they have great collection. The dressing rooms are nice and clean. The cosmetics section is also nice. They also have good deals on Thanksgiving.

Hit up the clearance racks!!!! Great place. Almost a perfect rating but if one is an employee, the hours are not great. When one gets a weekend off, having one work Friday until close...just give the employee Friday-Sunday.

I asked for a small bag to place my twins coats in. And they refused since I hadnt purchased anything from their store. I was heading to their shoe department to get them shoes. Ended up buying them somewhere else.

Nice upscale store located in the heart of Eden prairie. As many times I have visited the place, I hardly end up buying anything. Perhaps the decor is too old fashioned for my generation. The staff seems uptight and theres hardly any sales going on unlike other department stores.

I just wanted to say how my first ever shopping experience was enough for me. I will never be back as this store is a complete joke. From your employees to your customer service representatives. They are all incredibly rude, they don’t want to work with you or help you out. Gift receipts are absolutely pointless and your store is even worse. You can consider my business gone as I rather spend “$100” on “pajamas” somewhere else.

Went looking for a dress because Im a Maid of honor for a wedding and was having a hard time finding a dress to fit my post-partum body (plus some weight gain). The sales lady was very nice, very helpful without being over-bearing. She was good about listening to my concerns and trying to find what would be most flattering on my body. I ended up walking out with a dress that was within my price range and looked flattering on me. So happy; I would recommend this store to anyone.
