I’ve been pleased with my multiple experiences with La Mesa Appliance on all of my four past visits. I’ve had them come to my home to diagnose our stove and convert a newly purchased dryer from natural gas to propane, and have twice obtained parts from their El Cajon store that were not available at Home Depot or Lowe’s. On all occasions, their staff were knowledgeable and helpful as well as friendly. I appreciate their small store feel as compared to the big names and trying to get assistance from their busy staff. I’ll definitely be returning to them in the future as needed.

Purchased used washer & dryer, at a good price, both were installed and delivered next-day. The washer began to leak same night. I called up and Isidro came next day to take a look, washer needed to be replaced because crack in the tub. Because the replacement part would cost more than the unit was valued at, Bruce replaced the whole thing with a better model and made sure we were square on our deal before we were done. 5-Stars despite being sold a bum washer because Bruce and Isidro did right by me in the end, and were a pleasure to work with. Would recommend La Mesa Appliances to anyone looking for used appliances.

I had scheduled an appointment for a week from now and I got a call in the morning that they had a service technician available for today. He showed up within an hour or two and started working on my dryer. He got it fixed and also ordered me 2 parts I needed for my dryer. He was very friendly and informative. Very happy with his service and the information he gave me. Thank you

Spoke to Venus She was super informative, Tech came to our home as scheduled, fixed our fridge in 2 hours. Its colder now than when we first purchased. Dont be fooled by any bad reviews they are A++++ Thanks, Cesar V.

I live in Easty County (Santee) and I needed appliance repair. I called La Mesa Appliance because my dishwasher has not been working properly and Ive been putting it off way too long and it was time to get it fixed. The owner, Bruce was very nice and friendly and listened to all of the problems I was having with my dishwasher and suggested that it may not even be broken, and that I just need a few different fluids to fix it. I was convinced though that this brand new dishwasher was broken and insisted that he had someone come out to check it out and fix it. He was very knowledgeable and even made it so I could have it covered under the manufacturers warranty since we were new homeowners and have owned the dishwasher for less than a year. Their schedule was very flexible and they had afternoon openings for the entire week. I worked out a date and time between a staff member of his and my fiance and they were to arrive between 1-4 and also would be able to give him a 30 minute window so he didnt have to be home all day waiting for the repair man. The man called my fiance 30 minutes prior to arriving as promised, came and checked out our washer, and he also told my fiance that he could not find anything wrong with the dishwasher. Apparently I was placing the bigger dishes in the wrong spot in the washer so it was not allowing the door to open to let the cleaner out and also suggested that we used a cleaner to fix the drying issue. We did both of these things and he was right, my dishwasher is like new again. They were both very friendly and patient even though it wasnt broken and I would highly recommend Bruce and La Mesa Appliance to anyone looking to fix an appliance. We also are going to be purchasing a new stove from them in the near future as they have great prices and a good selection to choose from. Thanks for helping us figure out what was wrong with our dishwasher :)

Repair man was late. Start to finish he was driving away in 10 minutes. A simple repair of reconnecting a level tube. No parts involved and charged $149. Im sure they know stuff, the guy was polite but the charge was outrageous. If the charge was left at the $79 call fee this would be a different review. Ill find somewhere else next time. Unethical Businessman Buyer Beware!!!!

I wish I could give zero stars but thats not an option. Dont go here. The heavy set man with a bald spot and a mustache will be unnecessarily rude and condescending to you. I left there feeling attacked and insulted for just wanting to purchase one part for my dryer. Even after I paid for my item no one said thank you. Theres 3 or 4 other appliance stores in La Mesa try them first. These people are just mean and take their bad moods out on their customers.3/25/16 UpdateBruce from La Mesa Appliance Co just called me to ask me to take this review down. Which is extremely unethical and inappropriate. While dealing with him in the store, one of the reasons he got upset with me is because I didnt want to supply him with my first name, last name, phone number, and home address just to purchase a retail item from his store. But he insisted so I gave it to him and now he is using my personal information to harass me. Heres a little bit of our conversation just now;Me, This is exactly why I didnt want to give you all of my personal information.Bruce, If you wouldnt have gotten snippy with me for asking for it...Im not sure what he said after that because I hung up on him. Then he called back again and I let my husband answer. He chewed my husband out as well.Bruce, if youre reading this, this is how business works. If you provide bad or rude service, you get bad reviews. Deal with it.

Called La Mesa Appliance for a repair of a dishwasher for my rental unit. The service tech Carlos came for the service call. He was at the property approximately 15 minutes and called to inform me that the problem was a control panel, and it would be $300 to repair. I declined the repair and paid $79.95 for the service call. The next day I went to the unit to look at the dishwasher myself, I disconnected the power cord from the dishwasher and plugged it into another powersource, and low and behold, the dishwasher started right up. I replaced the power cord and the dishwasher works fine. I wiil not call, or recomend La Mesa Appliance in the future.

Horrible customer service! Very rude and condescending.This place has no compassion or focus on customer service. I placed a service call through my extended warranty. The company came out and needed to order a part, we waited over a month without any follow up. We had to call them and set up a time to repair, then they never tested the appliance before leaving. The next day i did laundry and it was not working. When i called to set up another service call the man was very rude and told me he was squeezing me in 5 days later and that was doing me a favor because he was scheduling service calls a week out. I was very frustrated and upset and the gentleman was condescending while making me feel like an idiot. If given a choice, i will never call them for service again just on poor customer service.

If I could give less stars I would. Their technician doesn’t show up for work and they want me to reschedule my appointment rather than send out another technician. Poor customer service. Woman on the phone had an attitude with me when I expressed my frustration of having to rearrange my schedule for their staffing problems.

Have an warranty repair issue a GE microwave oven from manufacturer send them. Appointment is set for the next day which is Friday. On Friday around 1.20 pm I call them trying to figure it out what time they will come so I can plan my work schedule. The guy Treavor answer and ask him to see that what time the tech will come and he told me that he dont have an appointment for me and have to schedule it till Monday, Once he tell me that just lite me up and I am furious because waited all morning and afternoon for that and he told me something that he didnt aware of it. After i posted it this suddenly the tech come in. I felt that he just jack me around & around. I am not recommended this business to anyone specially the guy Treavor.

OUR REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT OUT OF WARRANTY!! even though you responded it was.Samsung sent them to look at my refrigerator and see if it was covered by the five year sealed warranty. We told the service person about our situation and he didnt have a clue what we were talking about. He just told us it wouldnt be covered by the warranty. Come to find out that it was, but now Samsung do not reimburse after job has been done.On top of it all. They ordered the wrong part and took a week to fix my fridge. They blamed Samsung for sending them the wrong part. I would definitely take my business elsewhere next time.

Scam Artists. $80 to come out for an estimate. The gentleman wanted us to sign that we are aware of the $80 fee for coming out, then promptly informed us that he didnt know what would be needed to fix the machine, that it is dated and not worth fixing. He didnt even look at the machine. He could have told us this over the phone if he had listened as we attempted to provide the serial number prior to the costly home visit. CAUTION!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Scheduled an appt, they did not show, when I called, said they did NOT have appt scheduled for me. So I rescheduled for today. This a.m., I called them to confirm, they said they did NOT have an appt set for me.These people do NOT know which end is up, even if there was a big arrow tattooed to their forehead. BTW, Lowes extended warranty service also called them to verify the scheduled appt. Do NOT use this company!
