Good items and good service. Theyll work with you on time and pricing. This is not my first time over several years renting in an emergency situation where I needed them fast. They delivered right on time. Go there youll be happy.
I rarely ever take time to give a review, but because of the excellent customer service that I have received from Rent-A-Center El Cajon Ive decided to write this. Their assistant manager, Mario, is the primary reason Im doing this review. We have had to rent appliances from RAC twice in the last 2 months and on both occasions Mario assisted me with my order. He was courteous, professional and so understanding of our needs. RACs delivery team was on time and also courteous and professional. Its rare to do business these days where customer service is this good and professional. Thank you Mario and RAC!

The rent a center located in El Cajon, CA has been contacting my references numerous times on the same day that I paid my payment that was due on the same day. Then when a few days later they showed up to my place and threatens and harassed my roommate who also has a major hear condition and demanded that he makes my payment for me or they were going to call the police on him. Theyve even called him number times and threatens him over the phone as well. This company and the El Cajon, CA rent a center location have been informed by me on multiple occasions to not contact my references and to not contact me while Im at work. The did not listen and still continue to do whatever they please to try and collect payment on this contract. They have also been informed that my roommate who is only a reference and not a cosigner has a heart condition and was informed to not contact him and that any stress could cause him to have another massive heart attack and could kill him. My roommate is looking to get an attorney and sue rent a center for harassment and unwanted threats.due to covid lockdowns and stay home order and my roommate being put out of work because of his condition thing have been tight. I know Im overdue on my payment and have tried to make arrangements with them and they still demand that I make my payment immediately even after informing them that I have lost hours at work due to this whole shutdown. His statement to me was that this was my problem and not theirs and that I have to pay then regardless or return the item Im making payments on and have my contact cancelled even though Ive payed more than half of the contract which is more than what the item was worth to begin with. This company has been heartless and uncaring about their customers and endangering one of my references life to try and collect with making the statement I will call whoever I want whenever and however I want or deem necessary. I would recommend to anyone looking to do business with rent a center to use your funds otherwise and buy your items somewhere worthy of your time and money and would appreciate your business.The reason I gave one stare is because there was no option for no stars or negative stars and I would not have even given one star, but had no choice inorder to leave a review. Do not use this company for anything unless your looking for grief, aggravation or heartache.

Horrible customer service, keep all of your receipts and MAKE sure payments are being distributed to the EXACT item you intend them to go to. If not, they will apply them as they see fit. Will never do business at this location again!
No good service. I got the covid 19 so I was not working and I told them but they didnt care . They still calling me to make my payment and also before I got sick I was trying to pay more by phone because I was busy working so I was not able to go to the store and they never let me pay more so now Im just paying the the fees

Id give a zero for time wasted, unnecessary stress,Unprofessional/Bad customer service... Walking into a store hearing uncut rap music blasting w/my family shouldve scared us off including the location but unfortunately this RAC is closest to my house. I was lied to on several occasions by the entire staff trying to cover themselves.First issue; I came in for an advertise bed on their website instead of being upfront the manager tried to sell me everything I didnt want. 2nd issue; I spent forever filling out their application and giving up my whole life to find out after by the manager that they no longer carried the bed my spouse and I had our hearts set on. 3rd issue; I offered copies of everything up front day 1 and I was told no you dont need ur social security number, lease or pay check stubs, spouse or POA by the cashier aka alleged new girl. In fact I did a week later and which was their response to why I received no delivery or phone call. 4th issue; they told me how much everything was going to come out too. I was told 29.95 that led me into $90... for 2 weeks with a 14 day free delivery special going on. I was told I was paying for 1weeks but it was really 3 weeks. my delivery was a 1.5 weeks away so why am I paying for an extra week with out the merchandise the manager said because they only deliver on Thursday. Keep in mind it was Tuesday of the PREVIOUS WEEK, that upcoming Thursday he claimed wouldnt be enough time to verify all my references but they took my money. They even tried to get my social security number and thats not a requirement period. A judge once told me if they dont do credit checks why give away ur social. Everything they need to know is attached to your drivers license except who u owe and ur score and most of that is public records. The manager lied and said if my spouse gave up his reporting chain of command (1st class) and he could verify that info thats good enough and promised to deliver the bed again a week later. I asked for a refund and no they never called or attempted to deliver the bed even after given up more information. A few days ago RAC over drafted my account from this issue that happened almost a month ago and they swear I never had a contract with them. Thank God I kept the proof for my bank and the request for a refund. SMDH
-5 stars I REPEAT NEGATIVE 5 STARS THE WORST COMPANY IN THE HISTORY OF HORRIBLE COMPANYS not only bullies but also harassers James or Jamie whoever you are you do not deserve to work 4 any company in public relations and for the two truck drivers who are Intimidators and Bullies themselves can go to hell to put it nicely -5 Stars all around do not rent anything do not buy anything from this company do not even go into this company I cannot begin or even tell you the horrendous things that company does or says to its customers.
