On the initial call Rebecca was very helpful and informative. She was patient, took her time, and was able to answer all my questions. Dr. Lisa has been great, very thorough, knowledgeable and willing to work with me regarding some different option to help me with my tinnitus.

Everyone at this office is so nice and helpful. My initial appointment was thorough and I never felt pressured to move forward with treatment that I didnt want. Since getting the hearing aids they have been so helpful with any and all problems.

An uncomfortable ear...with a great experience and even better result! Without insurance and a stubborn ear blockage. I searched for help. I sent an email to Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing Center. A response came the very next day. Not an impersonal robotic like email either. A real person! A friendly and enthusiastic person, with help! After filling out necessary paperwork and scheduling an appointment (within days). We came in at our scheduled time to Rebecca or Amy. Funny thing, they knew both of our names before we said anything. And Im not sure who was so graciously greeting us! Lisa the doctor was very professional but real. We tend to enjoy working with real people who have a sense of humor and know their stuff. No shortage here! Lisa was lighthearted and efficient. Better yet, she cleared up the blockage with ease. My father is a patient of Colorado Tinnitus (COT). From scheduling his first appointment to recent assistance with hearing aid cleaning, COT has provided incredible patient care. My father says he has never felt so comfortable in a doctors office as with Dr. Kalmbach. She has a calming presence and lets her patient know she is 100% focused on their appointment and care. Her office team provides the same level of attention and kindness. I cant say enough about how wonderful COT is. If COT offered dentistry, gastroenterology, etc, we would got there for all our medical needs!

Every single lady in the office was an absolute angel! From the moment we walked into the office we were made to feel welcomed, and felt a genuine concern for my teenage daughter. The doctor spent four hours with her, asking questions, making recommendations, and helping her with her new appliance for Misophonia. This place is wonderful, they were right from the get go accommodating and friendly! Im new to the area and they were able to fit me in within the week, they even let me come in during their lunch hour in order to fill out the paper work as I couldnt print it! The evaluation was very thorough with a complete auditory profile being made that was both informative and reasurring. And while I was lucky enough to not need formal treatment I did purchase a wonderful Sound Pillow that has speakers in it to help with falling asleep with my Tinnitus. Would highly recommend here!

I highly disagree with Jeffs review. Morgan, Office Manager and Audiology Assistant, met me on a Sunday since i live 2 hours away and fixed my hearing aid on HER time off. She certainly didnt need to do that for me. It was not in her job description. It was her kindness! Patty and Lisa are awesome in assisting me in diagnosing my hearing loss and making the appropriate recommendation to correct my hearing loss and working on my tinnitus at the same time. They have always worked around my schedule since I dont get to Denver very often. The office atmosphere is wonderful. You get to watch fish on a digital aquarium which is so relaxing and fascinating. Delicious coffee and cookies as well! They could never have been nicer or kinder to me in any way. Not only would I recommend others to see these awesome people, I have previously referred others to them.

I saw Dr Lisa at Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing. This was my first hearing aid and I had many of questions. Dr Lisa spent a lot of time informing me about the technology involved, how that tech worked in all of the situations in which I would need it (one-on-one conversations, picking out individual voices in noisy situations, how the device would pick up individual voices while I was in a group of people - as in a airport, the decibel ranges of the device for conversation and how the aid would add to the top end for listening to music). There was much more, and Dr Lisa took all the time I needed to answer my concerns.After the fitting of the hearing aid, Dr Lisa scheduled a follow up visit so we could discuss the raft of new questions that surfaced as I had time to work with the device. She then made adjustments to better help me hear.The office staff was cheerful, efficient and helpful in scheduling appointments. All of those appointments began right on time. All of this drives my five star rating. I would recommend Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing Center without reservation. And indeed I have already begun doing just that.

A breath of fresh air!Imagine: a business where you are welcome, respected, serviced graciously and professionally by competent people .. even if youre not family or wearing a 5 karat diamond ring.Its easy these days to forget that such businesses -- which, in my opinion, should be the norm ... if only because such an approach is invaluable in order for a business to grow and become successful -- still exist. Theyre so few and far between.So ... heres my story:I couldnt figure out why my 93-year-old fathers hearing aid wasnt working. He kept buying new batteries -- by the boatload! I examined the device, and all I could think of was that the battery wasnt making a good connection.I was with my father and we happened to be in the Porters Hospital vicinity and saw the sign for Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing Center. I thought, Since were right here, I might as well go in, but I wasnt looking forward to it. It gets tiresome to always be greeting by persons who are as much as saying, Why are you bothering me? Like the wizard of Oz tells Dorothy, Come back in ten years.I walked in and was greeted by Morgan, who was the office manager. She was sitting at a reception desk, so I naturally assumed that she was the receptionist. I was all ready for her to say something like, Our knowledgeable person is out of the office right now. Could you come back in ten years?Anyway ... nothing could be further than the truth. On the contrary, she took my fathers hearing aid, and without my having to go through the labor of trying to get her interested enough in my case so as to not tell me to come back in 10 years, she examined it, showed me exactly what was wrong with it, proceeded to go fix it, gave it back to me ... all in the space of about 10 minutes. And it wasnt that easy a task, either. She had to wrestle with the hearing aid, twist it, cajole it, cut it, glue it, and clean it.She was cheerful, interested, knowledgeable, and energetic.Like I said ... a breath of fresh air; a rare find.Dont go anywhere else for this kind of work. You dont need to.

I appreciated the discussion about my hearing and getting a recommendation to do nothing about my tinnitus due to my hearing being in the normal range. Its refreshing in this day and age, to have someone not try to make an unnecessary sale.Joe

Had such a great experience here. I went for misophonia, and everyone was extremely kind and generous with their time. They literally spent hours longer with me than our appointment was scheduled for, patiently making sure all my needs were met. I can’t recommend them enough!

They have changed my dads life. He no longer has to wrestle with tinnitus everyday thanks to CT&H. Dr. Lisa was very thorough in her explanation of the treatment and made sure my dad knew what to expect going forward. She has a personal touch that made us both feel at ease. I left feeling very confident that she viewed my dads hearing problem as her own and she intended to solve it. The receptionist Morgan is both knowledgeable and super helpful. I had to bring my two small children with me and she made sure they felt welcome. Ive received reminder phone calls for every appointment and they were very flexible when it came to scheduling. I love these people for what they have given my dad, he now listens to his TV at 1/4 the volume that he did before. Awesome staff, left the first visit feeling like a long time friend. Dr. Lisa is a joy to visit with and has been a blessing. I now hear sounds that I had forgotten existed. When my tennitus kicks in, I just turn it off. I actually didnt realize how annoying it was. Only problem is now I realize how loud my house can get. My kids now ask me to turn the TV up.

I had a great experience which may have saved my life. I meet with Dr. Lisa and she gave me thorough consultation regarding my pulsatile tinnitus and hearing loss. She indicated that I needed to find the source my pulsatile tinnitus prior to starting tinnitus and hearing loss treatment. Im very grateful for that advise, because I consulted with my cardiologist a week later and discovered that I had a severe case of symptomatic sinus bradycardia (very low heart rate) which was the primary source of my pulsatile tinnutus, light-headedness, insomnia, and severe fatigue which required a pacemaker for correction. Im currently recovering from the pacemaker surgery. After recovery and pacemaker adjustment, Im planning on a follow-up consultation with Dr. Lisa for treating my hearing loss.

I started the process of working with Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing a year ago and have had an AMAZING experience with their treatment. I was overwhelmed by tinnitus and could not sleep or function because of the noise. I started the procedure using the Haven protocol and am happy to say that it was a success. Follow the instructions, do your homework and it really works. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and caring and will work with you throughout your treatment.

Thank you for restoring the hearing on my left side!Ive been deaf in my left ear for 42 years. I havent looked into options for decades. CT & H held a free event that explained what options were available for a wide range of hearing problems. I attended to find out information on tinnitus treatments. But at the event I learned that they could being hearing back to my left side with a set of hearing aids. My left ear is still deaf. But, the hearing aid in my left ear sends its signal over to the hearing aid in my right ear! I can hear on my left side again!And, the aids also help reduce my tinnitus to nearly imperceptible levels.Thank you for changing my life!

I was distraught for my teenage daughter and her Misophonia. I researched and researched until I came across this place on the internet. There was hope finally. These wonderful people changed our lives by listening to us, and finally giving my daughter a diagnosis of Misophonia. My daughter now has little ear pieces that fit into her ear that play white noise so that my daughter can actually enjoy life again instead of worrying about her triggers. Her triggers were my husbands breathing, babies crying, and many other things. Dr. Patty was awesome and completely worked with us financially, emotionally, and gave us a ton of resources for Misophonia. I can NEVER repay these woman for changing our lives but most importantly for changing my daughters live, where she feels life is worth living again. This may have been the best experience Ive had with a healthcare provider ever. From the phone call to make the appointment to the completion of the visit everything was handled professionally, proficiently and with genuine kindness and respect. Amy at the front desk was as lovely, efficient and nice as on the phone. The waiting room was cozy and uplifting. I could not imagine a healthcare provider more competent, kind and patient as Patty. Her instructions during the test were very clear and calm. She spent time with me both before and after the test. I felt like she was looking at me as a whole person and not just I feel there was a genuine interest in making sure that I was well taken care of and treated compassionately. This kind of care sets the standard for what a healthcare experience should be today. Its a high bar. Finally, it was a joy to just park and go right in to the building. I understand they just recently moved into this building and one of the considerations was making parking and entering the building easy for patients.

Very helpful, understanding, and I almost got teary eyed because I have never spoken with a professional who knew what misophonia was, let alone understand how to measure and work on it.

Tinnitus was destroying my life. I had lost a job and my career as a musician was agony. Patty and Lisa have worked with me for four years and my tinnitus is under control. I am leading a normal busy life. I know how to deal with the issues tinnitus creates. Without Lisa and Patty, Morgan and nueromonics I dont know if I would still be here. They were always there for me. Tinnitus can create a very stressful environment, there is no cure, it is easy to become frustrated with your Doctors. I am sure at times I was a challenge. They were always caring and professional.

I cant speak highly enough of this place.I came in for a consult about misophonia and tinnitus. I was given several treatment options and opted for tinnitus-relief hearing aids. I was treated like an equal by everyone on staff, I was given honest and straightforward information, and I was seen within a reasonable time frame despite their full schedules. Ive been using the hearing aids for a few weeks now and its already life-changing.For what its worth, my insurance doesnt cover hearing, but I was told that many of their misophonia patients have at least some luck with getting insurance to pay for the work.

Found a goldmine here! Dr Patty really listened to our issue and concerns, and was sympathetic and understanding. She taught us so much about misophonia, and how we can help our family begin to manage living with it. She also wrote a letter to my sons school to teach them about misophonia, and how it pertains to my son!! Because of this the school is very open to recognizing misophonia as a medical diagnosis. My son has always had some sensitivity issues in regards to certain sounds but it got much worse as he got older. We recently found out that his issue has a name: misophonia. I heard about Dr. Patty from Tom Martinos radio program. She was talking about misophonia with Tom. I was like oh my goodness! I am not alone in this! Maybe he can get help.... We made an appointment to see Dr. Patty. She is SO great. She listened to both my son and myself and recommended things we could do to help him. First off, she suggested some ear devices to help him with his trigger noises. He is trying them out to see if they will help (so far, so good...we can eat as a family again!). Secondly, she suggested we apply for a housing accommodation for him to have his own room in the dorms in college. Seriously, him living in a dorm with another person was our worst fear. With his trigger noise issues, we were afraid of what would happen with a roommate. Dr. Patty helped us fill out the paperwork needed and we just found out that the college accepted our request! We are beyond happy! This will make his life SO much easier at college. We are so glad we found Dr. Patty and would recommend anyone who suffers from, or has a loved one who suffers from, misophonia to contact the office. We had no idea there were others like us out there and clueless about help. My son had been self-dealing for years. Its nice to have options and to find out that there is help...you dont have to walk on eggshells all the time.

Colorado Tinnitus and Hearing Center changed my life! I do not say this lightly. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kalmbach and her staff. She truly cares about her patients and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!My husband suffers from debilitating tinnitus. He could not sleep or think clearly due to the tinnitus. He was easily agitated and normal daily life was miserable (for both of us). Dr. Kalmbach first worked with him using Nueromonics and that gave him enough relief to function, but still didn’t quite do the trick. In 2014, he purchased hearing aids that have proven to be extremely effective in managing the tinnitus. He even sleeps in them. Yes, I said he sleeps! This was a game changer and he now lives a more normal life again.

The receptionist, Morgan, is super nice and responsive. She seems well informed and helpful. I went to see the audiologist, Lisa, about my misophonia. Unfortunately, although Morgan and Lisa were both very kind, they couldnt help me. Lisa tried to get me to try $3000 hearing aids that mask noises. I didnt feel as though Lisa was well informed about misophonia and I left the office feeling no more knowledgeable and actually felt more hopeless. I left with a small stack of business cards which included her top recommended therapist (who she said was no longer accepting new patients) and a massage therapist (Lisa recommended I get a head/neck massage). They are nice, so maybe they can help other people, but for me the appointment was long-waited and a waste of my time and money.

For me, this was a life saving experience. I had given up hope of any relief from the never ending screaming in my head. I found the office to be professional, and the staff to be compassionate. Dr. Kalmbach clearly laid out what to expect during the diagnosis & treatment, and was fully supportive of my situation. My condition was severe--I was on the edge of going insane--and therapy for any condition is never a quick fix. The final result was that I got my life back. The tinnitus became a non-issue, and I cannot speak highly enough of how I was taken care of by Dr. Kalmbach and the entire staff.

Courteous and professional staff that takes the time to evaluate your needs and discuss different technology options and price points. Patty is very patient with me to make the necessary adjustments to help me transition to hearing aids.
