Ive taken my car to Action Automotive a number of times and have had good experiences all around. The provide solid service and do well in communicating whats going on with your car and the different options to deal with it. I appreciate that they dont pressure you and that they reward customer loyalty. Its definitely my go-to auto shop in town.

They are wonderful! Whenever I take my car they repair it super fast and well. They consult you and explain everything before taking any further steps. Today was the third time I have gone. This time I had an electrical problem and they have been able to find where the problem was and for a very reasonable price. I recommend it 100%.Also, as an international student I would like to emphasize that they are VERY kind and patient with L2 speakers (it is not easy to talk about mechanics in a language that is not your mother tongue). They always tries to explain it to you in a thousand ways :) so that it is clear what is happening. Really congratulations on a brilliant team and service!

They were very professional and did everything they could to close the tilt up on my moon roof. The only resolution would have been a complete new unit. So I didnt go that route. The mechanic really tried to manually close my tilt. The charge was minimal for all the work he did. I would definitely recommend this shop and will take my car there again if I have any trouble.

I had the thermostats replaced. The service was great. A little disappointed that after picking up my truck I got a message to add coolant. When I got home to check the coolant reservoir it was nearly empty. I would have thought that when replacing the thermostats that coolant would have been topped off. I had topped off the coolant about a week prior so I knew it was close to full when I left it. Other than that I was very pleased with the service.

The service experience was top notch and timely. Took our Audi A6 in for full brake job and was impressed with their level of communication and professionalism. Had the job done same day at the exact price they quoted.

I thought my air conditioning needed major service. Turns out the diagnosis was that it only needed to be recharged. Quick, honest service and I had my car back in no-time.

Have have used Action Automotive in the past with good results so when an issue arose, I went to them again. They were even better than last time and I was quite happy with the resolution of the current issue and the plans for some future repairs.

I took my MINI for an oil change and a problem with a window not sealing completely. In the course of completing the work, with which I was pleased, they noted several bulbs were out and offered to replace them. When I went over my bill a few days later I noticed that the labor charge for the bulb replacement seemed out of whack. When I brought this to Craig the owner’s attention he looked into it immediately and discovered that the overcharge was an unintentional code error. He apologized profusely, and didn’t simply correct the amount, but refunded my money completely. Needless to say, I was really impressed with how he handled the situation, and I will certainly be servicing my car there again.

Eugene is a College town. My daughter had her 2005 Jeep serviced there with questionable results. More importantly, since I am in LA, I have called Tiffany 3 times to have them email my daughters service records to me. They have failed each time. I would not recommend the auto repair shop.After seeing my post, I received a very pleasant call from Craig. He admitted dropping the ball on this one, but sent me the reports I asked for. We all stub our toes once in a while, but it is how we respond makes one professional, or not. Craig and Action Automotive has earned the Professional rating. I would use them again.

Craig and everyone at this shop are amazing. They took the time to diagnose a very difficult electrical issue in my Jeep and took the time to make sure the problem was correctly diagnosed and repaired instead of throwing parts at it like the previous two mechanics that worked on it before them.It’s just a great little shop and they take a lot of pride in their work and it shows. Another mechanic told us our 2010 Prius was totalled. I called Action Automotive for a second opinion and Craig talked me through possible options that they could do that would fix the vehicle at a more reasonable cost. We brought them the vehicle and they were able to fix it for 1/3rd the cost of the other place. They were honest and straightforward. We plan to bring our cars here from now on.

I was shopping for used vehicles and had this shop do the pre-sale inspection on a Ford Explorer I was interested in. I ended up getting the vehicle and scheduled to bring it for some minor repairs that needed to be done. We also had them look at an issue with the backup camera only working intermittently but as usual when you try to get something fixed the backup camera worked perfectly all day meaning they couldnt diagnose the issue. We finally got lucky and just before the end of the day they called to have us come pick up our vehicle and the backup camera wasnt working. That was nice but the timing was awful so they gave us the option to leave it overnight and they would diagnose the issue in the morning or we could come get it now. We understood, it was close to closing and we decided to leave it overnight even though my wife had an appointment the next day that we would need the car for. The staff worked with our schedule and were very professional throughout the entire process. They were able to diagnose the issue with the camera and we are very satisfied customers. Action Automotive is our new go to repair shop for all our vehicles needs, thank you so much for the great experience Craig and staff!

Action Automotive went above and beyond when I recently had a car I wanted to buy inspected there. Even before the inspection started they called me to tell me it was not safe and to ask me if I wanted to go ahead with the inspection. I had been chasing after the cause of an intermittent check engine light on my Mini Cooper for almost a year. After disappointing results at other shops I took it to Action on the recommendation of an acquaintance. They were able to identify and resolve my issue in less than two days. The owner was so awesome. I do not want to soil the entire episode that made me change mechanics. But technicians are a huge part of a business. Be sure that they represent the quality and standards of the owner. It was a debacle but I wouldnt have had it handled any better by a thoughtful and apologetic owner. I reccomend really making things clear here. I got charged for absolutely nothing and the problem was never fixed.

Went there after buying a used truck from a dealer down the road from them and Craig took the time to inspect everything and help with the extended warranty I bought with the truck. Was able to check everything and find the problems and issues that I wasnt aware of but had suspected but didnt even tell them of so I really trust them now and would recommend them to everyone cause they have fair prices for excellent work.9 months later and now I have to say is if insurance work needs to be done dont go there unless craig is directly involved otherwise it wont get done but the work they do is good if youre paying out of pocket

Action Automotive has always taken care of my Audi Q7 (and Audi A3). They are closer and far less expensive that the Audi Service Dept in Wilsonville and do just as good a job. On top of that Craig and John are super friendly, professional and let me know when and how to save money on repairs when possible. I am grateful they are in Eugene!

Its no coincidence that this place has so many good reviews. The service is phenomenal. When my car got broken in to on a rainy day at the beginning of the Covid crisis they were able to take my car to get it in out of the rain that day, with an appointment the next day. Then when my insurance was being difficult the owner, Craig, stepped in and got to the bottom of things quickly. I am so impressed with all my interactions. Really so impressed. To top it all off they are a really dog friendly. This made picking up/dropping off my car with my dog easier.

Craig and the rest of the crew at action automotive were fantastic! I had a puncture in my gas tank (yes, someone drilled a hole to siphon gas...) and he replaced the tank with a used part for half of the cost of the dealership. He also helped me get my car towed when AAA could not help due to their “1 tow per break-down” policy. Over all, they were very helpful, pleasant to work with and had the work done in just a couple days!! I will certainly be going back for any future car needs.
