Awesome place. I got something stuck in my eye while at the Grand Canyon and Dr. Thomas was easily able to get it out and save our vacation. Everyone was really nice in the office. Wish I had a place like this where I live.

Just received my new glasses. Perfect the first time! I have a very high script both eyes and often need a correction to new lenses, not the case with Dr Thomas. He did a great job on my new patient exam and script. Heidi was awesome when I picked them up.Great team I highly recommend.

This was my first visit with Northland Eye Care in Flagstaff. I have worn glasses my entire life so have had many exams done over the years. Every part of my experience here was not only professional but felt the doctor and staff all were there to take care of my needs. All state-of-the-art equipment and also carry a wide variety of frames to choose from. I would highly recommend.

My husband was traveling and forgot to pack extra daily contact lenses. He was on his way to hike the Grand Canyon and desperately needed contacts. I called Northland Eye Care and was so grateful for how helpful and willing they were to help me get some contacts for my husband. I texted a copy of his prescription to them, and they were able to get the lenses to him immediately!

We are visiting from out of town, and my eye doctor back in Florida had accidentally given me the wrong prescription of contact lenses (which I didn’t notice until I arrived in Arizona). I stopped by Northland Eye Care and was greeted by the super friendly and helpful Kim! She was able to find my prescription contact lenses in a trial pack to get me through my vacation with clear vision! Ive lived in Northern Arizona for 9 years, and have used Northland Eye Care during my entire time here. My experiences with them have never been short of superb! Dr. Thomas provides eye exams that are polite, professional, and thorough. They have excellent COVID mitigation strategies in place. Purchasing glasses here has also always been excellent, and they are very good about completing warranty work if glasses become damaged. I also want to give a special shout out to Stephanie, who I have worked with quite a bit more recently (Apparently I have a propensity for damaging glasses lol). She always provides excellent customer service and advice when dealing with my glasses and is incredibly sweet to work with! Definitely check these folks out if you are looking for a new optometrist!

I dont currently have eye insurance, but continue to go here because they have been giving excellent care & service for the 15 years Ive been going there. One of the most pleasant Eye exams I have had in my lifetime. I go annually, and typically in Phoenix. This office is practicing the CDC guidelines with Fidelity. You meet them by calling when you get there and they come and collect you from your car. They strategically walk you to the exam room, and allow you to look at glasses alone in the lobby. Both Heidi, and Stephanie were great, and one other gal whose name I cannot remember (Blonde hair) was also very friendly and helpful. The doctor was casual and my kind of person. This is my new go to and Believe it could be yours too. The parking was also easy with two entrances in case you missed the first one coming up the hill. Appreciated the paperwork being done online.

I was pleased with the covid practices they used I felt very comfortable going in and having the exam performed keep up the good work.

I had gone here just a few days ago with my family, and I’m very impressed with the precautions that they are taking during this pandemic. I fall into the high risk category & was hesitant on getting our eyes check but knew this would have to be the best time instead of coming in the winter or during the possible second wave of COVID-19. They lock the doors, and clean each area down after ever use in front of you. Also tables, chairs, and frames off the shelf were cleaned for me before trying them on or before sitting down. If you are on the fence on where you should go during these uncertain times this place is legit. They do keep minimal amounts of ppl in the building at all times and lock the door after each appointment which also gave me piece of mind. I’ve never been so happy to have a company take my money. Please don’t think twice!! They do leave you with piece of mind and also answered all my questions that I had on their process prior to coming to their location. Another cool thing is I went to their site and filled out all the information of what would be done on paper when showing up so I also recommend go to their site and fill out all the medical info to save time and also it’ll save you having to deal with all the handling of paper between one another. On a last note the ladies that work here have excellent customer service and are very catering and aren’t pushy but help you make the best decisions of balancing your wallet and what works best when picking out products. I had the best experience here today. By a complete stroke of luck I was able to get in the same day for an eye appointment and was able to use my insurance benefits before the end of the year. I had extreme pain in my eye and they squeezed me in first thing in the morning. They were clean and protective for COVID and Dr. Thomas explains everything that’s going on with the eye and how it works which I appreciate because it helps me to understand why I was in such extreme pain. He efficiently and kindly helped me and squeezed me in for a 48 hour check up too. I am already feeling so much better thanks to the Northland Eye Care team

Absolutely the best care Ive gotten from an optometrist! Scheduling an appointment online was quick and painless, and doing most of the paperwork online is a great plus. I arrived early to my appointment and was greeted enthusiastically by the office staff. I even got to see the doctor earlier than expected because the staff had the earnest desire to help me get a new prescription. Dr. Thomas was kind, informative, and more than happy to fine tune my prescription so I could see clearly again. Ill gladly make an appointment with them again.

My eyesight is terrible! Ive been wearing contacts for 18 years, but they would get buggy, dry, and scratch pretty quickly. When I moved to Arizona it got so bad that I stopped wearing contacts for about a year and a half. I rwearing glasses and really dislike wearing glasses so I mentioned it at my annual appointment. Doctor Thomas suggested changing contact solutions, and my problems were solved! I am so glad that I can wear contacts again!

Front staff was friendly and professional. After filling out new patient information I was promptly seen by the optometrist. Exam was lengthy, but I hadnt been to an eye doctor in years. They had my updated lenses in stock and were very informative of the concerns on my test results. Dr. Thomas was very thorough and answered all my questions. I recently moved here from the Phoenix area and was needing a new eye doctor, I went to Northland Eye Care because they received positive reviews and now I understand why. I will be using Northland Eye Care as my primary optometrist from now on, and I will recommend to anyone needing eye care.

Great eye doctor that is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything. I have a very extreme prescription and Dr Thomas makes sure I can see perfectly, even if it means ordering 3 different types of contacts for me to try. The staff is also highly knowledgable about what kind of glasses will work with my high prescription. The whole team works together to make sure I get the best care and have the most advanced technology available for me. Glasses and contacts arrive very promptly as well. I couldnt say enough great things about this office.

Ive been coming here for 6 years, ever since I moved to Flagstaff. At first I chose it because it was covered by my insurance and it was close to campus. I stayed with them because everyone who works there is wonderful and I am given outstanding service and medical care. Because of them, I was diagnosed with an eye condition and am now getting great treatment for it. Just today, I received a letter saying they had already scheduled my yearly check up for me, with a fridge magnet with the date and time! How great is that? At any rate, Northland Eye Care is probably the best eye doctors office Ive ever been to.

I got an appointment immediately for the next day when others I had called told me they couldnt see me for over a month. The cost of the office visit was much more reasonable than any others and my exam was incredibly comprehensive. The doctor and his team answered all of my questions and were absolutely delightful. I cant say enough good things about Northland Eye Care. I am very happy I chose them and will continue to be a patient there. I highly recommend this wonderful doctor and team. Look no further!

My husband wore contacts previous to moving to Flagstaff. Due to the dry air, he had to stop wearing them and wear his glasses exclusively. Dr. Thomas talked him into buying a hybrid contact, which cost over $600 out of pocket. From the start he had problems with them, and Dr. Thomas told him to bring them in to inspect them to make sure there was not a problem with them. We dropped them off over six months ago with Kim to have Dr. Thomas look at them. After several months of checking we still had not heard anything, and continued calling them to ask about them. Kim repeatedly told us that we had not dropped them off. When my husband expressed his dissatisfaction with the office staff, he asked to speak to Dr. Thomas. He never returned our calls.A few months ago Kim finally found the contacts which she had lost, and told us she would have Dr. Thomas to look at them. We still have not heard back from them.

I started seeing Dr. Thomas five years ago after getting a referral from a friend. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to review everything with me and I never feel like I am being rushed through an appointment so they can move on to someone else. I have referred my friends to them because of their good work.

The front office staff is kind and accommodating. Dr Tomas is knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. They have a wide selection of glasses and do a nice job with helping you to find the right fit.

I cant even remember how long ago I started seeing Dr. Thomas - pretty much from when he first opened his office. There was a time period where my vision insurance changed and I had to see another eye doctor. I eventually stopped going because none of them lived up to the care I received at Northland. Great customer service and I trust Dr. Thomas advice and care.

Dr. Thomas was recomended by someone who said he had good prices and good services. Both were very true. I really liked the clean office! (a lot of private doctors offices forget how important that is, and i wish I could clean it for them)!The Dr. was very thorough with the exam, and i felt i received an accurate prescription. He is the only eye Dr. Ive used who listened to my concerns about red, irritated eyes, and did more than shrug it off. Dr. Thomas actually is working with me to help solve the problem. I went for the price, Ill stay for the service.

These guys are just the best! First and foremost, very polite and prompt to respond to phone calls, Even when I am not prompt to respond to theirs (sorry Heidi)! Dr. Thomas is stupendous and, Im sure, renowned among the optical community. He discovered my hard-to-detect and even harder-to-treat eyeball condition and the entire team has worked with me for almost exactly a year to find the best contacts. They were patient with me and my uncooperative eyeballs, trying every contact available. I never found ones that worked, but Im glad that Northland Eye Care was the office that I went to. I will return to look for spectacles shortly, and Ill be glad to do so with the good Doctor, Heidi, Kim and Bobbi (sorry if I butchered your name) by my side.
