Great local diner....same owners for years. Our go to place for breakfast and lunch. My nephew says their french fries are the best! Great staff too.

The Bayview Diner is CASH ONLY... Just a heads up.My friend and I got breakfast here after scuba diving one morning. The reviews were favorable and it was nearby. We ordered typical Diner breakfast food which we were very pleased with. I got the Farmers Breakfast omelette and my friend got pancakes eggs and bacon. We got a table immediately, the staff was very friendly, and the tasty food came out quickly.I see us returning to Bayview Diner when were in the area.
The breakfast was great! The omelet was the best! Meat and spinach in every bite! The service was AWESOME!! The price and quality of the food was GREAT! I WILL BE BACK!! AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BAYVIEW DINER!! 5 STARS!!

As far as Im concerned its a 5 star because I like it for its location, its food, its service and the wonderful ol gals who wait on you.But I recognize that a lot of people like new, glitzy places with young babes serving them. This really isnt that place.But if you enjoy good breakfasts, in a comfortable place, served by your Mom, youll really like the Bayview Diner.Disclaimer: Speaking only about breakfasts. Ive heard lunches are great but cannot vouch for them myself.

Located on East Oakland Park Blvd. What’s unique about this diner is the cook . He is a hardworking man and when I place an order for well done English muffin and soft vegetable omelette with extra cheddar he cooks it exactly like that. Thank you for paying attention to detail. Its a family business and they are very polite as well. Im thankful for a hard working entrepreneur like him. Go there! 💁🙂👍🌹

Not a satisfying experience at all. Drove 4 hours and stopped to get food when we got into town. Most of the food was bland besides the breakfast croissant which was good. The French toast wasn’t cooked all the way and just tasted like egg. Then when it was time to pay they said it was cash only. There is no signs on the door that indicates cash only, so got charged atm fees. Went to the bathroom and male employee in his 20’s was walking out and when I entered I noticed there was urine on the seat and in the toilet so I had to have another employee clean off the toilet before I could use the bathroom. Would not recommend.

The food is ordinary. There is no sign outside the door or at the register stating they accept cash only. The waitress is moody.She did not say anything about cash only before taking our orders. When we got our bills the waitress told us they only accept cash and the atm machine is at the back, the machine is charging $3 just to get cash. Sucks!!! We will never come back again!!!
Great good but the staff can be a bit slow at times. Today we went and it took them 15 minutes to realize we hadnt been served yet. I think it also depends on the day... Other than that great place

Let me start off by saying Im from New Jersey and I know a thing or two about diners. We stumbled upon this place on the way to target one day and have been back about 10 times for both breakfast and lunch. Classic diner food in a relaxed setting. Feels like moms home cooking and the staff gives off a cozy family vibe. Husband orders the turkey club a lot and I get either pancakes, sandwiches the soup and my favorite the French fries. So if you are looking for a laid back cheap meal this is the place. FYI cash only with an ATM in the back.
Another hole-in-the-wall diner that has stood the test of time in Fort Lauderdale. We had a simple breakfast. Eggs, sausage, grits, and toast, and another order of a short stack of blueberry pancakes. The portions were normal, the patty sausage wasnt too greasy, there could have been a few more blueberries on the pancakes, but overall very satisfying. The wait staff was quick and very friendly. The decor looked like 50/60s. I loved the stools at the bar. Cute spot, great prices. Very comfortable atmosphere.

The food here is awesome. The waitresses are so sweet and pleasant. I noticed while dining, they knew some customers on a first name basis and new what they enjoyed eating. The cooks are just as wonderful. Ive tried their breakfast and lunch. Enjoy! Once you eat there, you will most definitely go back.
That is good. But. It not good enough because they dont take credit card. I was lucky I had this morning exact to cover the breakfast. That is a no-no. The owner must wake up. We all in America carry plastic.
This resturant is fast paced and the crew very organized. I interviewed the manager who was at his work station in the kitchen. Very well managed for the flow worked quite well. I was a bit surprised to see that many patrons. Part of the 5 star rating was that everyone seemed quite content.. Soo here ya go and enjoy.🔤😀🐟🐡

Nice small diner with a traditional flair. From what I can tell theres nothing really unique, thats why its only 4*, out of fairness to other places. But theres no reason at all to complain, the place is clean, has good and decently priced food and the staff is very friendly.

This place doesnt accept credit cards, only it isnt posted anywhere in the restaurant, its not stated anywhere on their website and their YELP page says they DO accept cards. The waitress never notified us that they were a cash only place prior to ordering. We were only informed of their policy when we went to pay the bill. My husband had to go home for cash and come back. When I asked if it was posted anywhere in the restaurant the waitress told me no but that it isnt posted that they do take cards either. I was informed it was on the menu only it isnt prominently displayed on the cover, it is sandwiched between small print disclaimers about sharing charges and consuming raw or undercooked foods on the bottom of the inside back page of the menu. It should be posted were new patrons can see. Oh, and the food is tasteless. We wont be back.
Great food for a diner. Tastes fresh to me and homemade as compared to other diners where the food seems factory produced. The wait staff is very friendly and doesnt seem to turn over much. The ambience could be better but Im fine with them investing money into the good food and/or staff rather than the decor.

Had breakfast. Ordered eggs over medium. They came out very over easy. I couldnt eat them. I asked for scrambled came out perfectly. The only issue I have with them they dont take plastic. Its the 21rst century catch up.
This was my first time eating here, but I very pleased with everything. What really sold me was that a few days later, my friend went back in and the waitress not only remembered her, but also what she likes to drink. Between the food and the service, Ill be back again for sure.

Food is no bad, service is great (servers) but manager is the worse manager I’ve ever seen. Just because I came to him to tell him he MUST have any sign where says ONLY CASH this guy took a really bad actitud with me, he said “in the menu says ONLY CASH” but it’s A LIE, i look the menu and it doesn’t. Definitely this guy has to take classes of Customer Service. So if you don’t know that you have to pay only cash and you don’t have money in cash; you’re forced to use a ATM inside the restaurante. At this point you have to pay the food, the service and the fee of ATM. It’s no fair... While this manager is here definitely I never come back.

Amazing food. Im from Pittsburgh and all the breakfast they had was new and exciting.
Dont take credit cards. In small print along with sharing prices. I had asked for eggs scrambled soft with cheese. The were scrambled in the pan instead of a bowl before pouring into the pan and dry. A friend had eggs benedict and the hollandaise sauce was sweet and not good. I dont think Ill be back.
