AICO Optical provided one of the most exceptional experiences Ive ever encountered in ANY industry. Every single person was exceptionally kind, pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful.I was admittedly a difficult customer for them because I had incredibly specific requirements for the type of lenses I need to do my work. Im a technical illustrator, designer, sound engineer, and video producer who works with complex software on several different sized monitors which range in size from 4 inches to 36 inches, all at varying distances from my seated position.To be honest, I didnt think it was possible to create a lens that would meet all of these requirements. But, after an impeccable exam from Aileen, and an astonishing effort by her husband, Cole (lens wizard), I am now wearing lenses that not only meet, but have far exceeded, my expectations.Furthermore, their office is incredibly warm, comfortable, and inviting. The lens selection count is well into the hundreds. There cant possibly be a better optical experience within 100 miles of Ft. Wayne. They have my familys business for life.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! Cole Heaston is nothing short of a miracle worker when it comes to my frames!! I am quite hard on frames, needless to say he has repaired mine more times than I can count!! Despite being shut down due to COVID 19, when I sent an email asking Cole for help with my broken frames he responded quickly! Made an appointment, he met me at my car and within minutes I had a new set of frames and was on my way!!!AMAZING!

I had a great experience. First, everyone was very helpful and answered my questions. The exam went very well, and frame selection was exceptional. They made some very good suggestions about the frames and also the lens for the glasses. I also got custom-made (by Aico) sunglasses. So far all has worked well.

I worked for nearly 10 years for an optometrist in another state. I can tell you that Dr. Heaton gives an excellent examination and answers all questions clearly. The staff is friendly but well organized and the frame choices are wide, from classic to contemporary. The latest technology is used to measure and make sure the lens give the clearest vision. Special shout out to Cole for explaining your options so clearly. I usually don’t write reviews, but Aico is worth the effort.

I needed new contact lenses and new lenses for my eye glasses (which happen to be a very old Flex-on frame which have been run over by a car, mangled by my children and stepped on numerous times by yours truly). After setting the appointment, the optician, Aileen, did a wonderful job in correcting my sight. I have both severe astigmatism and kerataconus (a condition where the eyeball is deformed into the shape of an ellipsoid) which makes it very difficult to provide correction especially when it comes to contact lenses. Aileen was proficient, professional and friendly. Her husband, Cole, did a great job of placing the new lenses in my old eye glasses. The whole office staff is very nice. The facility is beautiful, the equipment state of art, the selection endless and the overall experience is superb. I recommend these guys to anyone needing any type of eye care with zero reservations. They are awesome! And reasonably priced too!

The best eye care I have ever had ! During a check up I was told to see my family doctor because she could tell I was having blood pressure spikes. She was right and I went on medication for it. Aico Optical has been treating my vision corrections for a number of years. Last year I had special needs for tri-focal lenses to improve my vision requirements for a hobby and the new glasses performed well, as expected. This year with new glasses needed For an upcoming trip, they went out of their way to accelerate delivery of new glasses, frame and lenses, to meet my travel schedule. Very friendly professional staff with all up to date equipment. Very wide selection of contacts and glasses. They also have a lense maker in house. They helped me look for the perfect glasses. Although it took me about an hour to decide they didnt mind and also rounded everyone in the office to get an opnion on which pair looked best on me. A little pricy but Id rather pay a little more for a locally owned business than a chain franchise. I took my 5 year old for an exam also and they were great with her as well. (They do free pre-kindergarten screenings). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
