The quality of the paint job was amazing, Ive already started sharing photos of the paint job and pushing friends to do business with this Maaco establishment. The only thing we didnt like about our car was the color- we were tired of being one of dozens of silver cars in every parking lot, so after we paid it off we decided that it might be frivolous, but it was also an investment in keeping the body in good shape for now until the car dies. Were not the sort that upgrades a car every few years, were in it for the long haul, so we hope to drive this another 10 years- fingers crossed. We had them fix the scratches and dents, and really went for it and picked a gorgeous bright turquoise green. It looks amazing. They told me that at our price point, it wasnt going to look like a factory paint job, but I dont see how it could be nicer. Weve gotten so many compliments on it. My boss called me as I was driving out of our parking lot to tell me that it looked fantastic and that he thinks its added value to our vehicle. Were very happy with it, and we will never ever lose it in a parking lot ever again.

Anytime you come in with a 50+ year old classic car hood, with allot of curves and ornament placement bends on it, your asking the painting company to step it up a notch. Especially, when the original color has been changed to an obscure unknown paint along the way.Well, the team -really did step it up that notch -and some.I needed to match the hood to the paint job I had, so I could restore the car, and get the whole car painted in a couple years. So, I told the team there to just do a Class B or C job, and that would do just fine. Well, I got Class A.My neighbors in Fridley told me that this spot would do an awesome job....and now from my personal experience, Im telling you...

My wheel center caps were stolen at this location from my truck. I was not given a discount even for this inconvenience and I’m still waiting on their insurance claim to get them replaced. I am driving with no wheel caps due to this. I feel they should have been immediately replaced or the amount of them deducted from my total. I have not been given even an estimated time on when they will be replaced, only on when this will be submitted to their insurance for replacement! Absolutely shady business practice, something about this doesn’t seem right. However the paint job on my truck was beautiful, had these “stolen” caps not of happened or was handled professionally, this would have been a five star review despite my quote of 5-7 days turned into an actual 11 days.The paint is now bubbling after 2 1/2 weeks since the completion of the paint job. Very disappointed in the entire ordeal.

We found a motorcycle fender on ebay but the color didnt match the rest of the bike. We brought it in to Maaco along with the old fender as a color sample. I was worried about how well the color would match, but it turned out great. They nailed it, pin stripe and all! Very pleased with the result. The price was reasonable also. We appreciated all the help they gave us and taking the time to get it right.

Someone hit my front bumper while it was parked and took off. I have never had to replace a bumper before so had no idea what my options were. I called and talked to Rob. He was so patient with me. He took his time to explain to me my options and was really honest. I met with him the following day and he showed me on the computer my options and what he would do. I scheduled an appointment last week to get a paint job, and the representative gave me a price way less than what it actually was. He didnt do any paperwork and when I walked in, they told me the service would cost me 300 dollars more than the price given to me on the phone! DONT COME HERE BECAUSE THEY LIE ABOUT THE PRICES! They werent willing to accommodate as well. I only had reached out to Maaco, but if I knew they would lie about the price I would have looked at my options. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of communication and quote changes. Consistency makes THE difference with Car services!

Rob and Maaco team were fantastic! The fixed my bumper for Chevy Volt that was hanging off a thread. Best of all, they were able to reuse existing parts to work within the budget I gave them. The were the only shop that didnt try to make me buy a new bumper when requesting an estimate. Paint job was seamless and its impossible to tell my car was ever in an accident. Manager Don at Maaco saved me from my do it yourself disaster while I was restoring my 1991 Dodge D-150. I had done all my own body work and priming. I brought the truck in with all the body trim, grill and bumpers off and the windshield out thinking it was ready for paint. Well I had made a huge mistake by using the wrong primer mix on the truck. Then when Maaco applied the first layer of paint on the cab bubbles appeared in the new top coat. I was shocked I had made such a huge mistake and had involved Maaco in my mess and was ready to scrap the project. The whole cab would need to be taken down to bare metal and anybody work redone. As well as all the primer work on the trucks bed would need to be removed with lacquer thinner. I just knew that this was going to cost me a fortune. But it didnt, Mgr. Don said he would work with me to keep the cost down. Maacos crew fixed my mistake, no easy task. Then repainted my truck to its two toned original factory colors. The truck looks like it just rolled off the assembly line! I will definitely be back with all my future auto painting projects and recommend them to everyone.

Bad business practice. I showed up and got a verbal quote for a little over $600 for a fully insured fix. This estimate was very close to a separate quote I got from a local shop with equivalent labor/process. We then talked about doing an elective repair which would be much cheaper due to non-warranty and a different repair process. The sales/tech said he would email me a written estimate by 2pm for both an elective and insured repair. He called me later saying that he is leaving early and wont get the written estimate until Monday. I get the estimate on Monday for over $730 for an elective fix. I didnt get an estimate for an insured fix but Im not interested anyways. How do you go from $600 (verbal) for insured repair to $700 elective repair? Since I have an independent quote to reference off of, my conclusion is that there is some shady math/behavior going on. I cant trust this place based on that experience.--Thanks Andy for reaching out. It very well could have been a communication issue. However, even in that scenario, that would mean that Maaco (franchise) is noticeably more expensive than an independent auto body location for less quality.

Maaco in Fridley was recommended by my mechanic. He couldn’t have been more spot on. The people there were friendly professional and extremely helpful. The cost was remarkably low for the work they did. I would highly recommend them and they now have a customer for life.

I had recently been in a fender bender ( or so I thought that’s all it was) and had to search around for prices. I went to one place that quoted me $3400! I was about to fall over. I then called MAACO in Fridley and spoke to Robert. He had me to come in and gave me all the details on what I needed. He was very professional and extremely helpful. This guy didn’t know me from a can of paint but could tell I was worried about the price. Long story short Robert got my car taken care of quick and it was affordable. My first time taking my first car in, went well. My second time and experience is not the good. My car was in the shop for almost 3 weeks to resolve a issue that could have been take care of upfront. They did not check their sloppy work being done and had called me multiple times. They said my car was ready for pickup. After my fourth time it was finally fix right. It seems like they want to rush things to get it done quickly and without quality, just to get paid for. Will this will be my last time going to their store.

Reached out for a simple paint job. But nothing in my life is EVER simple. My 02 Eclipse needed to be sand blasted before it could even be painted. The finished product is AMAZING, and for the added unexpected costs they upgraded my paint package. Even though I went over on my expected budget, Im more than satisfied with their work.

Called this place last night to see if they had any specials I could take advantage of, the man who answers the phone Ron or Don Was super rude and insulting. I just had a simple question about specials, the response I got was either bring your car or I can’t help you and then hung up on me. Why would I bring my car there when all I was asking if they had any specials.

My car was painted at Maaco years ago by a previous owner. I hit a deer and need to repaint a couple pannels. Im not close to this Maaco but I wanted the paint to match. These guys are awesome!I had some front bumper damage to my 2007 Camry, and the competing estimate from ABRA and two other less well known shops were so high that I delayed the work for over two years -- until a friend recommended Maaco.Their estimate was significantly less than even the lowest estimate from two years earlier -- and the technicians did fast, beautiful work! Even better, the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my scheduling needs. Id given them SIX stars if I could!

I stopped in for an estimate Feb 20,2020. The staff was polite and courteous as soon as I walked in the door. Lawrence explained everything in detail and searched out the best option and value for my repairs. The quote was very reasonable and I was confident my vehicle will be in good hands. I also went to a popular body shop in Blaine for an estimate and received a ridiculous quote and rude customer service. I immediately booked my repairs with the Fridley Macco and was amazed by their stellar professionalism .

Good shop right in fridley here, have been going here for years. Tried to bring a car here once to be repaired and the guy was so honest he told me it was best to buy something else and not try and salvage the car it would be more expansive and not worth the hassle .. Every accident since then my cars only go here. They are helpful in getting you a rental car as well.

Very friendly, gives you all the information you need, very nice people. Theyll make sure to give you a good estimate if thats what you need. Everything gets done in a timely manner too. Took not even 4/5 hours to fix my door when they originally told me 6 hours

These guy did great work on my 2010 Prius last year - while I was in Texas last a guy hit my car and knocked the front bumper off ! Because Of my past experience with Maaco Fridley I went to the Maaco in Burleson Texas - they did a poor job and gave me a run around ! Wow!Rob and the team at Maaco Fridley really did me right. I had a bashed in door and fender, and side mirror torn off, on my 2009 Honda Fit with no collision insurance. My first estimate was for over $3400, more than the car is worth!Rob helped me find cheaper parts, and really did a great job with the installation and painting. Bottom line, I paid only $1050 to cherry out my baby again! Thats less than 1/3 of what the Brand X guys wanted. I would go to Maaco Fridley again in a heartbeat!

Spoke with a lady by the name of Wendy on the phone, she was VERY rude and nasty! I was asking basic questions about paint for my companys fleet of vehicle, she cut me off and was very snotty. I then asked if I could speak with a sales person or mgr and she said no one is available and hung up on me. Ive heard great things about this maaco, but this experience makes me think twice about doing business with them.

I went to get a quote on painting my car. no one was at the front desk and after waiting for a few minutes I asked a guy sitting in the side office if he can help me. His response: no, you just have to wait your turn. They definitely lost my business.

I had such a great experience working with the folks at Maaco! I had 2 cars get in accidents around the same time. One went to Maaco and the other went elsewhere. Maaco is very attentive and efficient. They also always answered the phone and called back like they said they would. If I’m ever in this situation again I will bring my car to them again.

Im happy that they were able to keep the cost below the original estimate, but the metal work they did was really shotty. They pounded out the dents and left many little outward dents that cracked the clearcoat on the paint. I cant believe that anybody would put out that kind of work for a paying customer.

If you are a customer that is not knowledgeable in paint services. Please know youre only going to get the value of what you put in. If you get the Ambassador service yes your car will have some flaws but from 10-20 feet away it will look great and thats the purpose of the Ambassador service. It takes a beat up dull old car and makes it look presentable and great from other peoples perspective. Ive had several Vehicles painted at this specific location and the owner the sales representatives and the painters that Ive dealt with have all been professional. My Crown Victoria is the longest vehicle Ive owned since having a paint job here. Its been three and a half years the paint is still going strong. I didnt prep the car right and so unfortunately I do have some Rust spots coming through that I have to address. And yes my car is coming back to this location and I am entrusting them to continue to provide the service that Ive been getting from them for years. Please go into the store with an open mind listen to the representative and ask questions. They will answer them.

They did great work. The only qualm I have is that their office is poorly run, in terms of who is in charge of what and such. I had to talk to a different person every single time I called/ visited, and every single time I had to explain my whole situation. It was like they never heard of leaving a note

TERRIBLE service! I went in to have my back passenger door quoted, and they never bothered to call with an estimate. I called FOUR times over the course of 3 weeks, and kept being told someone would call me. Ive spoken to multiple people here, and theyre all unprofessional and rude. I asked what the delay was in providing me a quote, and they said time. The last time I asked to speak with a manager, and ended up talking to John. He really didnt seem to care that his employees were treating customers this way, and turning away business.Well I wish I hadnt wasted MY time going there for a quote. I now have an appointment scheduled with their competitor.

Where to start, thought it would be quick and easy since they are near me.Complaint 1, they were closed during their business hours. Showed up on Saturday to pick up my car, and no one was around.Complaint 2, took longer then estimated. Was told 2-3 days, took 4Complaint 3 felt like one of the most annoying sales pitches on why to use them.Complaint 4 missed area on quarter panel that has a clear dent/ding on it.Each of these on there own probably would have gotten a pass, but each step along the path, I felt like they didnt respect their customers.

Rushed us out, rushed our vehicle and called us to pick up the car even when it wasnt completely ready to drive off with. Didnt know roof and lower panels werent dry until we got home, called them and they said theres nothing they can do to fix the chipped paint.

My driver door got whiped open by high winds, after it shut it wouldnt open with out buckling the fender so i stopped here called them on the phone and they came right out. I never even had to get out or disrupt my business it was fixed in 5 min with the right tool for the job and no fender or paint replacement. they didnt even take payment.

Poor workmanship here. MANY details missed the first time around - I had to make multiple trips back to get everything right that should have been done the first time. Especially if youre having elective work done, do yourself a big favor and go elsewhere.

I had a front driver side fender replaced and when I picked up my vehicle I noticed none of the lines were flush. Terrible workmanship.
