Overall they are a fantastic shop. Friendly crew, great service and one of the few places that know how to properly reset my TMPS. However, I have done online appointments before and they are never punctual. They always start 30-45 minutes after the scheduled start time. My doctors office is more timely. If you are going to schedule an appointment make it the first one of the day. Get it in and out and enjoy the rest of your day.

These guys were great. They were able to squeeze me in for a tire swap on Christmas Eve. They handled everything very professionally and were upfront and accommodating about the whole process. Will be back for any tire/wheel related needs in the future!

Yesterday was my first experience with Discount Tire, as if all the residue on my wheel wasnt enough do to their rush job work, I knew I heard a dragging noise when he pulled my car up to me. This morning I heard it again 😡. This unprofessional and tacky to return my car like this. Does anyone do reliable work they are paid for these days?! Today they are closed so now I have to pay another place to fix the problem because I am a commuter and cant miss work. Any business that dangers my life and creates more problems when I am spending money is not the business I can support.

These guys are friendly and courteous. Prices are competitive. However I cannot get service there without them damaging my wheels. Whether it be a scratch, chip or gouge. Even if I ask them to be extra careful, I end up with an issue. Last trip the tech must have had trouble getting the center cap on and it is all chipped around the wheel in that area.

Had a nail in my tire. This location fixed it for me quickly and efficiently. Love it is free and they dont try selling you new tires when you dont need them

Place was ok but had to keep reminding them to becareful when replacing my tires and not to damage my 22 wheels like another discount did and they had to replace them.

Ive never had a bad experience Gere, and these folks always go out of their way to help. Come in worried about tire pressure, lug nuts, or just to have everything checked out and they really help you out. Theyve been lifesavers when Im in a tough spot.

Got new tires put on abiut a week ago, hubcap wasnt put on right so it came off while i was on the highway about 15 minutes later. Then was repacing my shocks today and learned 2 of my lugnuts were put on hand tight, kind of expected more from a place that only does tires

I am so angry and frustrated.Called in and set up an appointment at 12- noon (6/2) to rotate/balance tires. Got there at 11:45 checked in and was #2 in line. Tall white worker took my keys for over an hour and I waited. ~64 minutes. Not happy at all. Asked for my key back and I left around 1pm. Really bad services. When, I complaint and asked for my key back, one of workers said oh, we are about to service your vehicle now.They emailed the invoice to me at 12pm way before any work or services done.Recently spent around over $1k and and plan on coming back but obviously that’s not going happen.I will take my business and my family of four cars elsewhere.John

Took minivan to get screw out of back tire. After waiting about an hour (I understand they get busy and no worries there), I got my minivan back and apparently fixed. Got back in minivan and tire pressure sensor was still on and repair guy said to drive a little while and it would go away. Well, i drive home and got out to look at tire and saw the same screw still in tire but now had some rubber piece sticking out as well. Made appointment to Discount Tire in League City off 45 and guys identified screw, removed said screw, actually talked to me about the situation, apologized for the Friendswood store, took picture of the previous repair and are ordering me a new tire. Get it together Friendswood Discount.

Replaced tire under warranty with reasonable wait time with being busy.

Ive been a loyal customer of Discount Tire for 15 years but this location is terrible. I got a full set of tires on Saturday and then Sunday morning the rear-passenger tire was flat. On top of that my hubcaps were put on wrong (theyre secured on by the lug nuts) so I couldnt get to the stems to check the pressure of the other tires. I didnt trust driving on the new tires so I had to rent a car for a day so I could go to work.I returned that Monday to get it fixed and to get the hubcaps aligned correctly. When they fixed the tire the employee drove the car up to the door, then looked puzzled and checked the other tires. He said they were all low, reading around 17lbs of pressure. He said that the installation of all the tires needed to be rebuilt which means they didnt install them right the first time. When they finally got the tires fixed I asked if they aligned the hubcaps correctly and the guy said yes. I should have checked before I drove off because when I got home they still werent aligned correctly.Ive never been disappointed by Discount Tire until now. Save some headaches and go to the Pearland or Webster locations.

Bad management for sure. They dont treat their employees right and if you have special health needs they dont care. Lie lies lies. They separated our family making my son move to a different state with his family for work because they refused to give him hours and not much training. He was there for them whenever they needed him. I will never use their services again and nor will our friends and huge family. They deserve to lose business!!! They also told my son I constantly called up there which was not true and just lied to hurt our family more. I hope they get better management. But they will not get our business and I will report them to the better business bureau since they used my name to hurt my sons job that he absolutely loved! Bad move discount tire bad move!

18 year old Suburban, first balance and rotate that my 20 (Factory aluminum) wheel has ever been turned over to me with a clip type wheel weight hanging on the outside lip. Attention to detail is important, for those of us who have been returning to Discount tire, for decades. ( Information only:: center caps left off at my request because Ive lost two, on separate occasions soon after a rotation.) Frankly, Im surprised that nobody pouted out the separated belt in the sidewall.

Discount Tire was helpful and friendly once they got the tires for my Miata ordered. I wanted Michelins but it seems that Michelin quit making them for the Miata. I ended up with a set of Contenintal ContiProContacts and Im really happy with them.

For this being my first time ever going to discount tire I cant give them anything less than five stars! The entrance has cones and directions to help assist those to the right destination. On top of that, the employees save you the hassle of walking all the way inside and end up greating you outside. And lets not forget my man Kevin, he was the right amount of energetic. He was super helpful and friendly and just made the process fun and light. I definitely will say that having two computer screens and mirroring whats being typed is different and entertaining almost. There was a good range of prices and affordable so dont fret. I would say the entire process took less then an hour and thats for someone who had no clue what to do.

Got here at 2pm. Salesperson said they’d have all four tires replaced by 3:20. It’s now 3:40 and my car hasn’t moved. Multiple customers came in after me and leaving before. One of them left with 4 new tires. I’ve been inside twice and gotten the run around. Poorly organized and lot’s of employees wondering about with confused looks. Never again Friendswood.

Arrived at 8:15 am. Explained I have a screw in my tire and an already purchased tire to replace it. They offered to patch it for free instead of put on the tire I purchased. They promised that regardless, Id be out by 10 am. I wasnt. Waiting over 1 hour and 45 minutes to patch/replace 1 tire is insane. They literally have 11 guys on duty and none of them could get this accomplished. Dont bother expecting efficent service here. It is 9:50 and they havent even touched my vehicle. But apparently my time is expendable.

ALL of the individuals who work at this location are BEYOND AMAZING!!! To make a long story short.. I had my vehicle at this locating for 5 days trying to get it started(it was in their parking lot, not going to go into details why..but it was..and it was not their fault) anyway...they were the true meaning of customer service and hospitality. They helped me and did it with care. I thank this locating with all my heart. I respect each and every single individual that works there. Thank you.

I arrived before work to get my tires checked.When I arrived in the tire lane no one came to help.After sitting there about 5 minutes a worker came from inside to assist. He checked and asked me to stop by after work to make sure tire is just low.Upon leaving work my tire was flat. I got a coworker to put a spare on and called the store because it was close to closing time. My surprise was the same worker that checked my tire in the morning answered the phone.I explained my dilemma and he told me to come on in and they would wait.I got my tire fixed and it was a great experience.And will be back. I am bad with names but the worker will know who he is. I hope the staff especially the one who helped me will be rewarded.

I dont think this location could understand the depths of my gratitude. As a survivor of targeted harassment by a stalker from a decade ago, I still get bouts of panic and anxiety when things feel suspicious. In the past few months since Ive moved, the tires of my cars have needed replacing so often that I have 2 full sized spares and a donut in my trunk. I have had so much anxiety looking over my shoulders and the cost has been astronomical, especially during the pandemic. I went to them with 3 flat tires and donut, one with yet another random long nail embedded. Faltering, trying to explain the embarrassing situation of 4 flat tires without seeming paranoid, the rep stopped me and said hand me your keys, well take care of you. Take care of me is exactly what they did. I would recommend this business for our initial contact alone buy, the service was quick, budget friendly and they made sure I understood what they did and why. Thank you is not enough.

They wouldn’t fix a tire that had a nail in it, the reason they said was it was too low, I went to see the tire and it didn’t look anything like the picture they showed me, how I would’ve gotten to the store if it was too low, plus I overheard how the guy that served me made the sale, mocking me.

Lots of places selling tires .. This one has the best combination of choices and cost. And, they check and air your tires without you leaving your vehicle.

Great customer service! Really hard working staff doing the best they can with Covid regulations and being so busy.

Due to COVID 19, they are treating their customers poorly. They are no longer willing to host their customers inside and are operating under a city wide mask mandate. Several of their changes require that customers either stay outside. They have eliminated coffee service and magazines for its customers to read. In addition, many locations have terminated services such as wheel balancing and rotation for existing customers. Discount tire needs to buy off some local leaders to relax COVID 19 mandates so that they can regain their place in the market. I will be substantially reducing my tire purchases from Discount as a result of their poor service. The service feels rushed and hurried. This location in particular enthusiastically embraces artificial constructs such as social distancing and mask wearing. Their rating has dropped to a 1.

I sat in the air check line for about 15 minutes with no help. The guys out back kept telling me that someone would be right with me and yelling air check, however the 3 guys in red shirts up front were just talking to each other in a circle. My air finally got checked by a nice young man named wyatt.

Negative employees, not interested in helping at all. There were four behind the counter and each was trying to get the other to help me. I had to just stand there waiting as to who would help. They are also NOT interested in getting you the best deal if you purchase 4 tires. I have been going to discount tires for years but I guess its time to go to another place.

I had to stop by this Friendswood location only because Pearland location did not have my tire in-stock. The employees here have no motivation they move at their own pace. I waited for 2 hours for a tire change. When I was at the Pearland location I waited 1 hour for tire check but the cars I saw in and out was more then i saw waiting here for 2 hours. Manager needs to go sit for an hour at Pearland location and see how the employees at the Pearland Discount tire hustle all day!

With a appointment or not, the wait was crazy. I went in for new tires, was told two hours at the longest. And was the 3 1/2 hours. I guess the salesmen there are told to get you in no matter what, after that your playing the wait game. Good prices, good work out on the floor, but bad salesmanship. I wasnt the only one in this position today.

Sold my wife a set of Michelin 60,000 mile tire., got 29000 out of um before they were completely wore out . Took it back and the offered a rebate on only 3 . Took it to league city got a 4 tire rebate and a better tire for 200 dollars less than what they offered . Never again friendwood
