Needed an inspection done on an out of state vehicle. The mechanic was super informative on what I needed to do next. The inspection took minutes, I was in and out. I would highly recommend anyone to come and get vehicle serviced. He also told me to come back and he helped put my plates and stickers on my vehicle. Defiantly coming back.

These guys have been getting 5 stars until this past Monday. I took my car in for inspection around 2 weeks ago and my car failed (I had just installed a new battery to my car and it erased the cars memory, which is needed to pass the test). The inspector told me to drive it around 60 miles or so so it can get its memory back and then bring it back. Since I work from home and because of the virus, we hardly go anywhere, but I decided to take the car to extra errands to accumulate 60 or so miles. It took me over 3 weeks to do that and then decided to take it back. The guy tells me that I now have to pay $25 for taking longer than 15 days. He said that it was on the fine print of the papers. I told him that he shouldve told me that when he told me the car had failed. Without any regrets or empathy, he said that it was written on the paper. The only thing he told me was to ride it 60 miles and bring it back: he shouldve told me that one important fact and I wouldve brought the car back before 15 days. I know, that I shouldve read the paper work and I did, but not the fine print thinking I had a good amount of time to take care of the memory issue. Anyway, the owner did bring down the cost to $10, but inspector needs to take lessons in being a polite persons and to let his boss speak for him. I will be going to another car inspection from now on.

James does great auto work at an affordable price. Hasnt gouged me yet. Transmission had leak in tail seal. He replaced the seal and I havnt seen a leak. He is always kind and polite to me but doesnt have time to chat and go on about non auto things. Great mechanic. Guys in the office are always helpful too. Definitely recommend!

I took my Volkswagen in for an oil change the mechanic said go to OReillys and get the parts in the oil and he would charge me $25 for the oil change and that OReillys were great about giving the right thing. They sent me the wrong oil filter which the mechanic proceeded to install. After waiting two hours in the hot sun on a hard bench this 80 year old woman was charged $70 for an oil change. I do not think thats very professional. I will never go back. And if you go there make sure you get it in writing what theyre going to charge. Thanks for listening. I just dropped by Atlas Auto Inspection to get my state inspection done and they made the process extremely quick and easy! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the prices are good, and I really like the vibe of their little office/waiting room. I also really appreciate that they took the time to talk to me about tips for getting the most out of my car, as well as out of their other services! I will definitely be going back the next time I need an oil change or repair.

FANTASTIC service - so nice for them to tell me to go to the dealer as it was a manufacturing defect and I should get the repair free there rather than them doing the repair. On the other repair item - completed in the promised time frame at a fair price. Love these guys!

I just called to ask for pricing on an inspection and I thought he asked if it the vehicle was an edition or gas. I asked him is there a difference. He said yes...if edition $7.00 but if gas $25.50 when I asked him clarify edition I received dead air...i tried 3 times for clarification...he gruffly said I gave you the prices. I said yes but what do you mean by edition? I got dead air... I asked if he speaks English and he hung up. I guess not.... Still wondering what he meant by edition😆

This has to be the worst place in houston. The owner or main rep has no customer service. This was bad experience and wont return again.

Went to this place for years. The last time I was went, they cracked my dash putting on the sticker. The owner denied he did it, got very hostile and threatened to call the police if I didnt leave. After I dared him to call the police, he finally admitted he doesnt have any insurance on the business, which I later verified that he truly doesnt. BEWARE!!!!!
