I’ve been a customer of Verizon for close to 30 years. I currently have a business account with them (big mistake) with 8 lines. My son is away at college but lost his phone Friday night on a rollercoaster ride at six flags. He came home Saturday to get a new phone. We arrived at the store at 6:15 and were asked what we needed. I explained and was told, “Sorry, we close in 45 minutes and there are 3 people ahead of you so we won’t be able to help you. Come back Monday. I explained again that my son would be back at college Monday and we just wanted to purchase the iPhone 12 Pro. Again he repeated that they close at 7 and they wouldn’t be able to get to us. He suggested we go to Best Buy where they have Verizon and could help us. So we did. However they could not help us bc they don’t handle business accounts. Nor does the Apple Store. I completely understand wanted to leave work in a timely matter after closing but most places have compassion and serve you if you arrive reasonably ahead of closing. Very disappointed. Definitely do not recommend the Verizon store at Baybrook. .

Tried to go into store today. Was with sales person and had to make phone call to ask a question about the account. I put my mask below my mouth for less than a second so the person on the other end could hear me and an employee runs over while I am on the phone and tells me to put my mask on. Did not wait until I was off the phone. They were not helpful at all seems like if you are not a technical person do not stop here as they look down on you.

TERRIBLE customer service. I called the store and was left on hold for almost 10 min so I made an appointment to go to the store. I was told I had to do what I needed online - which I understand but I called and made an appointment because I had a few questions. The lady kept cutting me off and telling me to go online then yelled thank you in a very disrespectful and patronizing way as I walked back to my car. Definitely wont EVER go back.

I scheduled an appointment for troubleshooting as my iphone x is disabled and I am unable to reboot from home. I arrived 10 min before my appointment and was told I could not come in because I had no mask and that there was nothing that could be done for me at this time. Mind you I was speaking to a DISTRICT MANAGER who obviously had no desire to assist me---after 11 years with Verizon I am SO over them and their audacity. Given the circumstances- I respect the rules and guidelines to keep everyone safe, however the lack of communication and decent service is still expected!My phone ALL of a SUDDEN stopped accepting my screen password and facial recognition. I cannot access anything on my phone. I asked if I could have my account notated to not be charged during the time I cannot even utilize the device- to which the DISTRICT MANAGER replied, there was nothing she could do! Whats happening?!! Why is it this difficult for the greatest phone company to fail LONG TERM customers?!? I expected some QUALITY service, she could see how long I have been a customer- why couldnt I be offered some sort of deal outside of UPGRADING. clearly i do not want to spend any money here----likely bc every time i have there has been an issue....but i have been consistent and NEVER late on payments SO why in the world was I treated like a problem? The website should have sent me to a location i could actually receive assistance! I am UNIMPRESSED!

This store is awesome. I had been trying to upgrade my phone on Friday from almost 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The first Verizon store I went to (Clear Lake City BLVD store) sold me a USED phone that had pictures of their employee on it and refused to take back the phone despite their return policy saying under 14 days (check out my previous review).Will was the one who helped me at this store and he was awesome. I was in a pretty stressed and awful mood and his jokes and lighthearted demeanor definitely helped me feel better. I was in and out of the store in 1 hour thanks to him which I really appreciated.I will only go to this store now!

And please make your sale adds clearer not one thing as seen online and when people come in you have a story to tell and 200 offers other than what they saw before they came in google is a very credible site I think many if not just myself come to Google for information before venturing out to make a purchase...also Hispanic woman that greets your customers is very non chalaunt and thats tacky considering this is someone elses business you work and got hired to produce a smile and a product relative to the nature of your hire

Ive had lots of ups and downs with Verizon, but my last visit was over the top of the upside visits. Extra good treatment from one particular exceptional customer service rep. While we were enabling my replacement phone, he also gave me great advice on saving money with some contract adjustments while the transfer was made. Thanks!

The staff was excellent, polite, knowledgeable, and gracious. Verizon and its corporate policies leave much to be desired, and our family has since canceled our Verizon services in favor of Google Fi. But the staff at this location were truly helpful as much as they could be, and it is certainly not their fault Verizon as an entity is headed so steeply downhill.

I am buying a brand new phone and have already been here for threeHours and it says one hour left. Go to another location. Also, 1 line is what 2 used to cost me but metro Pcs doesn’t work! Ive been coming to this location for years back to when this location first opened. I have always had a wonderful experience and today around 1230 i was about to have the same thing happen. That is till i made it out to my vehicle and the HPD officer working security decided to come out and attempt to scold me about my parking. I asked if he felt I struck his vehicle. He said no but i just need to remember have room. I informed him I did and I didnt see the problem. He ended up walking away.My wheels were strait and i was between both lines and I had enough room to get out. I ensured when I opened my door it in no way struck his private vehicle. I get if he is worryed about about his vehicle but to approach me in the manner he did was uncalled for.

Upon walking into this store I wouldve judged the book by its cover and gave it a 5 star, but after my 3rd visit and still no issue resolved, I wish I could give it 0/5 star rating, but Yelp makes a leave some of star rating. This could be the worst service I have yet to receive a business. I am disappointed I have been in contact with corporate, management and speaking to my sales rep (DeMaje) about the same issue since Jan. 22nd. Today, makes nearly 24 hours that I have been without service. I was switching from Sprint to Verizon because I thought I may get better service which its only a 1% difference after I have done intensive research.. Which isnt worth the stress I have endured. Fast forward, as of now, I have no working phone to speak with anyone which is not a good way to have my business. I have been without service since 7PM last night. I went by this Bay Brook store for the 3rd time since Jan. 22/23rd* and again this same issue isnt resolved. I have never spent so much time with a business on a problem that has still yet to be resolved. I will be losing contracts/money and opportunities due to not having a phone on a network. I plan to terminate all business and relationships with Verizon. I was hesitant about switching and now my experience and loss of service has confirmed that I should have never made the switch over. I am so stressed and disappointed. I wont recommend this store to any business or person switching from one provider to here unless you have the time to be without your phone working for an extended period of time. I spoke to Verizon customer service twice on the phone yesterday before my service went out and they were extremely helpful, but helpful and getting this issue solved for me to have a working phone on a network are not the same. In over 10 years of serving the community, I have never been in this type of limbo situation. I shouldve stayed loyal to my service provider and worked out any differences I had instead of making the jump to switch to Verizon with the assistance of this store. I believe they are only in business because of their location and it attracts shoppers to the mall and off the busy highway of 45-South. They can be busy at moments which can result in the store associates dropping the ball of exceptional and above & beyond service. In brief, I wouldnt wish this stress and time consuming switch over to anyone. Just stay with your current provider and work out any issue you have. The grass isnt greener on the Verizon side. Dont fall in the trap of the amazing advertising and marketing they do to get your business. Do your own intensive research. Its not worth it and I surely dont see where switching to Verizon will add value to my business now or in the future. They will tell you anything to get a sell that will go towards their store goals.

Worst customer service. My family and been to this location multiple times because is close home. The staff pushes you away and never helps. Today my wife and I had plans of buying a new phone but we felt treated so bad that we change our minds. The rep Anthony looked like he was forced to help us every question we asked he would just point at the phone and no explanation at all. When i told him he was not helping us nor answering my questions.he told that he was, but i just didn’t like his answers. Thats just not the way to treat clients .The manager Rolando did help after he saw we got upset . What Anthony doesn’t realize is that sometimes you don’t even have to say a word so the client can tell he doesn’t wanna help.

There is nothing to dislike about this place! It is in a convenient location you can get to it on Metro Busline (Fact I dont have a car). Employees meet you and greet you and try to help you to the best of their ability. If they cant they find someone that will and can. Ive been there and I have been helped and Im sure will be helped in the future. Example: I entered the store sweaty because I ride the bus, i had to walk a good distance to the store, carrying extra bags. So normally most people assume that Im homeless, looking to cool off or steal something. (Looks Are Deceiving!!!!) This store location treated me as I should be treated, have no problems recommending it to anyone.

Doug, the service manager, was extremely unhelpful and rude. His demeanor was very hostile even as we approached him. Not surprisingly, he began to argue his inability to help us before even pulling up the details of our account or letting us finish briefing him on our situation. He was not sympathetic to the fact that we had already spent hours trying to resolve a service issue and previously, one of the employees in his store, had told us incorrectly it had been rectified. We did not stay long because it was very apparent we would get nowhere, but even as we went to leave, he made no attempt to work with us. Very disappointed in Doug and Verizon for choosing his as a managing representative.

I had gone to the Fairmont location a few weeks ago and the guy who helped me there was not very polite or helpful in any way. When you shop at the Baybrook Mall store, be wary of the special promotions or free items that come with the promotion. If the items on the informal invoice or price list they give you indicate they are zero charge, they may not be free even if the sales person tells you they are. Ask to see the actual purchase receipt which shows the prices of the phone and other promotional items. If you get your purchase receipt by email, do not open or use the free items until you are sure you are getting the deal you think you are getting.

I came in knowing what phone I had wanted to order. There was a long wait time to even get a salesman to help me (20+ mins) and once I actually got to meet with one, I was promptly told that he would not sell it to me because its a piece of crap. Mind you, I do research before shelling out enough money on anything so I knew going in what I was getting. Since I was going to pay it in full because I was mid-contract, I definitely knew what I was getting into. The salesman made claims that there was sound issues and that he would much rather me get a different phone. The other phone in question was a more expensive model. I asked him if the phone he wanted me to get was a quad core like the one I wanted to get. He said yes. It wasnt. After leaving the store and doing some more research on it, I found no cases where the phone had sound issues and it was topping every benchmark I could find. I went to a different Verizon store and asked for the same phone. There was no hassle. No snide, uninformed comments. Just quick, cooperative business.My suggestion would be that if you want to get a phone here, know very well what you want. I knew what phone I wanted so the salesman telling me that he wont sell it to me wouldnt have stopped me. I just didnt feel right giving them my business. If you dont know what youre getting yourself into, youll get suckered into buying a model that will may not necessarily match the specs you were told about.

This is an update. Now most of us know the level of customer service that we get from these cell providers, and most of us are not happy, its all good when your purchasing a cell, but wait when you have an issue and your 30 days is up, and if you are like me, and went from one provider to another to gain satisfaction from the money we spend every month, there is still an issue. Now for my story about Verizon. I have been a customer of every contract cell provider there is. My final option was verizon. I left AT&T for Verizon, a poor choice on my part. I dont mind paying good money for great customer service and that is what i got from AT&T but the phones was an issue. My experience with Verizon has been an issue from day one.Sad that I have enough experience and years of sales and customer service experience, put in several applications to get turned down, yet I call to get assistance with a technical issue and have to go through at least 3 reps before I can get a resolution and most of the time I figure it out myself. I am just waiting to pay off my phones and go prepaid with Cricket or another provider like that, if i am going to get poor customer service at least I can pay less for my troubles.

I had a horrible experience with this location, this is not a review for Verizon itself, but this one location. Unhelpful sales staff, with no knowledge of products or how to conduct oneself as a salesman. Unapologetic management staff. They do not care for your business. There are numerous Verizon stores around this area, including the location inside Baybrook Mall.I took my purchase of five phones to other provider. Who had sales staff that seemed to care for their customers. Verizon does have great coverage and generally customer service with them is great. This is by far the worst Verizon store I have ever stepped foot in. After losing a phone, I came in about 1/2 hour before the store closed. The store personnel were not helpful at all. I explained that I had lost my phone and I needed someone to help me out. Instead of explaining that I could suspend service they told me that I needed to log onto google to resolve my issue. I tried at the store. I was ultimately unsuccessful. I called the VZ wireless phone number and they halfway resolved my issue for the evening. After this, I think I could do better with the Cricket Stores on the side of the Gulf Freeway. Geez.

I found out that this store is an indirect Verizon Store where they can set their own policy. With that being said, make sure you call customer service first to verify information or it will cost you an arm and a leg to cancel or change anything. We got so fed up that we were willing to pay a hefty Early Termination Fee so we dont have to deal with the Oops, I made a mistake excuse or the lies! So sad to being writing such a bad review for a large company such as Verizon but I had no choice especially after speaking to customer service this morning and found out the truth!

Weve been with verizon for a decade, and one waddly, rude employee at this location left us so stunned, that we switched over to Sprint. After waiting for 30 minutes just to talk to someone, this lady came out and immediately just started berating our decisions. We had a question about getting a wireless charger for one of our Samsung phones, and before even finishing my sentence her mouth opened to hastily spew, Well who told you to get a wireless charger?! I said it was just a thought we had, so we didnt have to get a new phone since the charge port on the one in question was broken. She said we could fix it with insurance, and I said I didnt want to pay for a claim. Then she said it could be done under warranty. I didnt think after over a year the phone still had warranty for something like that, so being interested I asked her how that would work. Her nasty reply was, Well clearly you dont understand the difference between warranty and insurance wait, What? Uh, yes I do, I tried telling her that and she insisted on cutting off every sentence of mine. I said that we were leaving instead of dealing with her. By the way her manager was standing behind her the entire time and never stepped in. On our way out she continued to make nasty backhanded comments, even trying to get other customers involved, who were not having it by the way. I went back to ask her what her problem was and she sent her security guard also waddling through the store, like somehow we were criminals now. Her name is Shelley, and she is a disgusting individual that should not be working with the public. I called verizon customer service and they told me that i should send a had written letter to corporate about this. No attempt was ever made at rectifying her nasty behavior. So as stated earlier, after a decade of being a customer, we have left verizon altogether. All because one horrible person. They need to get rid of her.

This is more of a review for the stores people than for verizon itself. I bought a new phone for my wife on the verizon website and the shipper damaged it in transit. I went in to this verizon store after being directed here by their customer service via phone. I was promptly greeted by Lila, a manager and she checked me into the stores queue. The wait was just a few seconds and Jessica came to my rescue. This wonderful lady spent the better part of two hours working to resolve my problem. She went above and beyond, in my opinion, when verizon was unable to exchange the phone for the price i paid for it. She was able to get me a credit on my account for the difference plus the taxes. She was very thoughtful and attentive to my situation.Being there for two hours, I was able to observe the interaction between all the employees and their customers. The employees seemed to really enjoy what they were doing and it showed in their work with customers.
