CDT is now my go to place for my new F350. 1st I had them add a B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch, which hauls great. Outfitted it with some Weather Tech floor liners, the Ford mud flaps I wanted didn’t fit so they installed some Weather Tech mud flaps that look great. Gonna need to save up my pennies because I would like some air bags, extra lights and a cold air intake from them in my future.There is a waiting area with wi-fi if you want to stay while the work is being done. Plus, you can always shop their other products in store or discuss your future “wants” with them because Kyle and Justin they are super helpful and friendly.

Great communication and service. CDT installed a new suspension, lift, wheels, and tires on my 2006 4runner. They also offered to shuttle me home and back (Holly Springs) since it was an all day job.

They did a fantastic job on my Ram 2500 Cummins front end repair and upgrade.... Solid axle 4WD front ends need special attention, and these guys are who you want working on it. Excellent customer service, Grade A workmanship, the best parts, and fair prices. Got my truck driving like new... my go to place for any diesel or vehicle period... definitely an A1 shop for sure...

I have been to CDT Performance shop a few different times. The first time was for my brakes and brake pads to be replaced! They were phenomenal to work with. I had a road trip that I was leaving for at the end of the week and they were able to squeeze me in to make sure I was on my way safely. Unfortunately, with my job I was unable to drop it off or pick it up during business hours, but that was no problem for them! I went another time for some regular maintenance on my truck. Thomas and Mike went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and they even sent me with some CDT Apparel! Can’t thank these guys enough! I highly recommend them if you’re in North Carolina. If you ask nicely they will give you a tour of the shop and they always have at least 1 or 2 SEMA builds that just show how much they pay attention to detail!

WOW! Im not a truck guy so this message is for my fellow Jeepers... check this place out!First off the staff and owners are just straight up nice. Second, they understand solid front axle vehicles and all the fun stuff that you can do with them and how to fix them as well. I stopped by because I am chasing down a noise in the front end and of course it wouldnt make it while I was there. No mind... they still went over the front end and then we played around on the articulation ramp and the rock pile out front.One of the owners came to his senses and bought a Gladiator, OK a Wrangler would have been better, but these guys like their trucks so its understandable. One look at the build on the Gladiator and it is apparent they know what they are doing. Good news is they are getting more into the Jeep world which this area needs desperately.Will def call on them again if Ive got stuff I cant fix. Two thumbs up.

I needed a LML cp4 replacement before it became an issue. These guys rock! They got me In quickly, gave me a written estimate, and got the work done in a couple of days. They also, knowing our travel plans, checked our brakes and found we were close on our rear brakes. I had them repaired also. I think I have now found my new shop!

Carolina Diesel Trucks are by far the best diesel/gas truck shop I have ever worked with. I had a lot of custom trucks over the years and worked with great people. I can say without hesitation CDT are the best. These guys are so appreciative for your business and will just about accommodate any request you ask of them. Its great to see a company value the customer this way. If you need any work done on your truck, these guys are your first and only stop.My LM5 is awesome. They said when it was done it would be life-changing. I had no idea how right they would be.7” left on 20x37PPIE tune north of 500hp 0 to 60 in 6 seconds and 18mpg C / 25mpg HIts a show stopper, and I get asked about it everywhere I go.

This is the only place I trust with our Diesel truck. Theyre actual mechanics and know what theyre doing. Ive never had a bad experience with them. We recommend them to all of our friends with Diesels for anything.

Very bad experience. This all happened before they moved into their big new fancy shop when the shop was still out in the woods on a farm. I was severely overcharged for parts, after looking up parts on my invoice the prices I was charged by Carolina diesel trucks were marked up excessively some as much as double the prices listed on the manufacturers websites. Some parts such as the radiator were presented as OEM replacement were later found out to be cheap aftermarket parts. Some parts were charged to the invoice and not purchased or installed at all. There was damage done to my hood by not installing the hot side pipe to inter cooler correctly and damage to my bumper from running the truck into something. I purchased a set of exergy injectors and soon after driving the truck one of the washers sealing the injectors failed which costs me another 1700 dollars to reinstall. They used the wrong material washers to seat the injectors. All of this was presented to the owners and I was not compensated a dime. They also left air in my brake lines which causes extremely poor braking making it very dangerous to drive. They had my truck for over a year apparently “working” on it after the parts had all been delivered for 6 months which I found out they were using that time to complete their SEMA truck and using the money they overcharged me to put towards that. This is a flashy company that gets articles in magazines and uses them to take advantage of honest people like me. Before looking at trucks like triple threat which are meant to impress you and convince you that the shop does good work for the little guy, take a second to think. I gave them a engine replacement and twin turbo job and I guess 38,000 dollars wasn’t enough to get honest work done. So unless you want to take the chance of throwing your money at thieves, look around and do some research on a more reputable company. There’s only 2 diesel shops in the area and I’ve had great work done by one for fair prices and good turn around times and it was NOT cdt.

Thomas, Justin, Marshall and Kyle are all wonderful at CDT. They are very professional and do they best to get your vehicle back on the road. I personally have two vehicles that I take to there performance shop and they are always extremely good about getting my truck in and out.

These guys are true professionals. They fixed my 6 liter power stroke and I really wondered if that was possible. Justin had no problem talking to me and keeping me updated on the progress. Very quick turnaround. Very happy with the results. Absolutely would recommend CDT Performance and Off-road.So heres an update,Its been about 10,000 miles since my bullet proofing was completed. The truck has unbelievable power, I have made several trip across country and pull a camper from time to time. Fuel mileage is up, the engine runs smooth even on cold starts. I did blow a hose off the radiator filter due to a bad crimp on one end. Easily fixed. Other than that, no problems, still very satisfied.So to the truck back to CDT for a once over and an oil and filter change and fuel filters. They upgraded my coolant hose that came apart with a new system. They caught some other minor problems, took me to the shop and we talked it over with the mechanic and took care of the problem with an informed decision.So impressed with these guys.

I am a new diesel truck owner and was looking to do some work to my used 2007 Chevy Duramax so I did a lot of research before committing to using CDT. I spoke to Thomas and Justin and they were patient and informative to me on my options for what I wanted done. I got 2 other quotes and although CDT was not the least expensive they weren’t drastically out of the ball park. Also they didn’t try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge of the diesel world and they didn’t try to upsell me on unneeded work like one of the other shops tried to do. They gave great service before during and after. Shortly after having my Y bridge deleted I had an issue related to the hose that went to the heater core. They immediately took my truck in and fixed it no questions asked. I would highly recommend Thomas, Justin and the rest of the team at CDT for any work. They are knowledgeable, honest, very customer focused and great to work with as a new diesel truck owner.

Visited CDT ~1mo ago for some work on my 17 F250 Powerstroke. I was really surprised to find that all parts were in stock and they would have my truck in and out in just over 24hrs from the time of consultation. I am quite happy with the work and the smile has not yet left my face from the new found additions. Their pricing is quite competitive and from what I found in pricing out myself it was really a no brainer to have someone like CDT to handle the work for me. After alot of researching and calling around to speak with different shops I finally made the decision to start on some of the long awaited upgrades to my truck (Ram Cummins 2500) and chose CDT to perform them. Great honest group of guys that are knowledgeable and stand behind their work 110% which is an A+ in my book because no shop is perfect. I have mainly dealt with Justin but also Thomas on a couple occasions and have nothing but good to say about both. I am very OCD about my things and have had many questions along the way and they have been more than happy to answer all. I have many more things on the list and plan on using them until complete and then for any type of repair/maintenance work afterwards. Im not really the review type but feel they have earned it.
