There are a few things about a storage facility that can set them apart. My other storage climate control facility bounced temperature and humidity outside the advertised range on a frequent basis and lacked interest in meeting the standards. This facility meets the standards. They are clean, maintained Most importantly the on site staff of Pablo and Dianne are consummate customer service professionals and implement the policies of the big chain (keeps your stuff safe) but makes you feel like you have a personal storage concierge. I have been a customer for almost 7 years. I would store what matters most with this facility.

The employees were so amazing. They went above and beyond to help make us comfortable during a very long two days of sitting at the storage unit waiting for movers to come. Being 7 months pregnant, they brought out a table and even a comfortable chair for me to sit in the air conditioning as we waited. It was so touching having them go so far above their job description to turn my day around. I can’t say enough.

Best experience with renting a storage unit at Life Storage Gaithersburg. Diana and Pablo run a well oiled storage facility! Top notch service from the time I placed my reservation online to driving away after moving my items into my storage bin. Service like this is rare today.Moving is normally a stressful situation, but it was made so easy because of Diana and Pablo. Life Storage also offers their own rental van which sets them so far above the competition, and their pricing is great too. Facility is spotless and secure. Highly recommend.

I am so glad that my friend, who had already been using them for years, recommended them. Their location is central to the area and easily accessible from the interstate. Their prices offer excellent value for service. The premises are kept spotless and well-maintained and Pablo’s customer service is outstanding. Security is tight and I’m particularly impressed with how well the humidity and temperature in the building are controlled. I definitely recommend this company and this location to anyone looking for storage in the Gaithersburg or north Rockville area.

Clean place, here for years Pablo was good

Unit was clean enough, interior of building is older and musty smelling but is temperature controlled. Parking to load/unload can appear challenging because space is SUPER tight (they fit just as many structures and rental parking spaces on the property as humanly possible) but we never had an issue. They have more dolleys, well maintained and always put back in their place, than any other storage facility Ive used. Property is well maintained and nothing was ever broken (gates, locks, etc.) while I was there which is more than I can say for my last storage company.Staff is helpful; first day I got a phone call letting me that during their end of day rounds, they found my unit wasnt completely locked (silly brother!) so we were able to come down to properly secure it. When I emptied my unit, I had completely forgotten to call them... The following morning, they emailed checkout documentation for me to eSign. So easy!!On top of all that, its easily the cheapest option in the area. Highly recommend!!

I really like the friendly staff and service at Life Storage. The storage area is always clean and the staff there are very helpful. Weve been storing our stuff there for many years and we have never had a problem. Their prices are very fair and we feel at peace leaving our stuff there. They are the best!

The staff is excellent and helpful. Stephen checked me in and checked me out and was great! Units are clean and safe. Also if you cant move out at beginning of month and need a few more days, they will prorate it if you let them know in time. Other storage facilities dont do that. Also depending on where your unit is located, lighting is dim in the unit itself so find one that is located near a hall ceiling light. But this is true of other storage facilities as well. Just a tip!

Life storage has excellent customer service, fair prices and great quality storage facilities! The manager at the front desk, named Pablo I believe was very kind and patient and answered all of my questions in detail. If you’re interested in a quality storage facility life storage is the way to go!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rates are good for the area. Some of the carts are a little hard to maneuver, but thats to be expected. The free rental was a huge help, but I wish they could rent outside of set time frames. We asked about renting at 10 am, too late for the 9 am cutoff, and had to wait until 4:30. However, we were allowed to use it overnight, and they set up the gates to unlock past the usual time for us. I was even allowed to close out my unit over the phone, since I had my boyfriend empty the unit for me (I was already out of the state for a job).

Have been using them for a couple of years and recently moved to a larger space. Space is good size but the lighting in the unit is horrible. I asked them to fix the existing light over my unit but they refused. Seems kind of penny foolish since my plan was to stay for years. Lets see, spending a few dollars to fix a light fixture and make a client happy, $219 a month in revenue. Come on guys, have some good business sense.

Awful, awful management. I had an emergency which caused me to get behind. Pablo absolutely refused to wait 2 days for my disability check to clear in bank to get caught up and auctioned off my stuff. I asked him if he would at least give my number to person so that could hopefully get anything they didnt want and were gonna throw out he again REFUSED. i explained that some things that would not be important to anyone else was very important to me such as my kids baby pictures and such. He 100% didnt care and was unwilling to work with us in any way, shape, or form. When I asked if I could come see if any of it got thrown out he told me that I could not even do that. If I came on property I would be trespassing and arrested. I dont understand how anyone could be so cruel.
