Additionally, the dealership delivered our vehicle to our home so we were able to get things in order to prepare the parking space at home for it. We were very satisfied.

You’re welcome. I meant to put words with the rating. Was very pleased when I showed up to do my 25k inspection for $199 and the young lady who assisted me said at this location they won’t charge you for what you don’t need. She said let’s take a look at filter etc. if it needs it we will replace it, if it doesn’t let’s just do an oil change. That was refreshing as most dealerships are looking for ways to add on cost. In addition, my previous dealership didn’t provide shuttle service. I had to inconveniently wait for my ride to be ready or call someone to get me. At this Chevrolet I can utilize the shuttle get dropped off at work and then have someone pick me when I’m ready. That is extremely convenient. I have had only good experiences with this branch of Chevrolet at the location.

The dealership was neat, organized and prepared to help me with my first time purchase of a vehicle. I was greeted and assisted rapidly and professionally. Tyler was a great help he was the sales rep who assisted me, he was friendly, courteous, professional and a pleasure to do business with. Troy assisted me with the ins and outs of reading through and signing the paperwork and insurance packages available. The process was a breeze and i walked away with a great car at an affordable price! If zero were an option, I’d have chosen that. The worst customer service experience we’ve had with any dealership to date. Zero communication from the service rep. It took multiple calls and voicemails to get some type of answer. When our concerns were voiced over the lack of communication it was shrugged off with an “it is what it is” mentality. I would be surprised if this dealership has any repeat customers if this is how they operate.

On January 7th my fiancé and I bought a 2009 Toyota Tacoma with 169,4xx on the odometer. We bought the truck AS IS WITHOUT A WARRANTY and I fully understand and accepted the risk I was takingThen on Tuesday, May 17th, exactly 130 days after driving off the lot, and putting only 2088 miles on the truck (that’s and average of about 16 miles a day) the engine loses oil pressure and immediately spins a bearing and is completely destroyed! We’ve since paid a shop $9,000 to put a new engine in itI’ve been working on cars my entire adult life and I’m currently in school for diesel. Upon investigating with my shop it appears JBA HAD ATTEMPTED TO FLUSH THE SLUDGE OUT OF THE ENGINE to hide the lack of maintenance and neglect by the previous owner.So we went to speak with Pablo the manger over at JBA Used Cars. When confronted with evidence that at the very least their tech missed the lack of maintenance he became very defensive. He refused to listen to the video of the engine knocking and refused to look at photos of the metal in the oil. I even took the drain pan into the show room to show him the metal in the pan proving the engine is destroyed.Pablos only offer was for me to have it towed to his shop so his technician could look at it. I agreed but asked for something in writing saying that when they find the engine is now a $12k brick they would help cover the cost in some way. I suggested covering the labor and we’ll buy the engine or vice versa; he refused. I suggested covering a portion of the repairs; he refused.I have no legal recourse so my only option is to let everyone know what a terrible experience I had at JBA.I’ve done my best to lay this story out and not misrepresent anything. However they seem to be missing the point. JBA and Mark Parme made my 2013 Tahoe purchase so easy and my weekend car-buying trip south an enormous success. Mark is that rare salesperson that is genuine, honest, a true gentleman, personable and who’s fulfillment is fully derived by creating a wonderful customer experience. For me, that he did.I’m relaying a bit of a story, here, but one really worth hearing. You see, taking a big gamble -- especially with the dearth of good, available used cars right now -- I flew south to D.C. from Rochester NY seeking to buy a 2012 to 2014 Tahoe to drive back home. (Yes, a northerner in search of a nice, rust-free southern car.) However, every car I had researched in advance of the trip either had quickly sold or didn’t check out. I was glum -- siting in my hotel room after many dealer calls -- thinking I’d be flying back home (rather than driving) empty-handed, my weekend and travel money wasted. Then, a stroke of pure luck. I caught a just listed 2013 Tahoe on Autotrader at a dealer with the odd name of JBA Automotive, near Baltimore. And, wow, just 55.6k miles on it. I began to salivate! There were no pictures posted, though, as it was just traded in.I called into JBA and got connected to Mark Parme. I asked him if he could put the car up on a lift, take photos the underbody and send me pictures – a rust-free frame / underside being most important to me. Mark gladly did this, quite amazingly, and I had the pictures on my cell phone in just minutes. He also relayed to me that the Tahoe, as traded-in, was one of the cleanest used vehicles he had ever seen. In fact, he was half thinking of buying it himself, he said. Yah, right. What would you expect a sales person to say? I was skeptical to say the least.Well, having struck out with every other car of interest and with good cars selling in hours, I took the risk and told Mark I was jumping into my rental car, immediately, and would arrive there in about an hour from D.C. He kept his schedule clear to accommodate my arrival, then worked with me for several hours while I was checking-out and test-driving the car. Mark is a man of his word -- the Tahoe was immaculate inside and out. Absolutely incredible. A dream. He, then, expediently handled all the paperwork for the purchase.All is as good as it gets, right? Well, ain’t quite done with the story yet. Here’s the over-the-top part. Astonishingly, Mark offered (skipping his lunch) to follow me in a dealer car to the Baltimore airport so I could return my rental car then drive me back to JBA where I could jump into my Tahoe for the 6 hour drive home to Rochester. Okay, this is the gold-standard in creating a wonderful customer experience, right? Yes, agreed.Mark and JBA, I’m a fan for life. I thank you and I’m passing along my experience to others gleefully. I’m absolutely delighted, riding high and safely, in my perfect 2013 JBA Tahoe. What a pleasure to drive! I just wish you and JBA were about 500 miles closer so that friends I relay this story to could just swing in to JBA and experience customer-care first hand.

Unfortunately this is the closest Chevy dealer to me. There is a service representative named Kelly whom is very rude and has zero customer service. Its so bad and unprofessional it makes me think its a racial issue. They never have appointments, they are always a week or more out. Hire additional mechanics to service your customers. You definitely have enough reps trying to force you to buy parts and service you dont really need.

Dave was an exceptional car salesman. There were no vehicles to test drive so he asked the GM can we test drive his that is going above and beyond to me. He was patient and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I did not feel rushed or pressured by the staff. He made the car buying process so easy and fun. Max in The finance department was great also. He got me the best rate and went over all the fees and expectations so that I fully understood what I was buying. It felt like buying a car from family. I would recommend buying from J.B.A to anyone. I bring my corvette there for all my service. Dealerships as a whole can be very expensive. If I have one complaint it would be their prices for routine service. Its insane. I would consider bringing my other chevy there, but I cant afford it. Overall they do a good job.

Tech recommended replacing the cabin air filter and engine air filter. I was happy to decline, knowing this is a simple fix that I could do on my own time. However, to charge over $200 to replace $40 worth of parts and 10 minutes of time is pretty drastic. When i did go to replace my engine air filter it was installed incorrectly. While this mistake is simple it could lead do other issues as debris could be ingested into the engine. I would expect a little more attention to detail especially with going to a chevy dealer whos techs should be aware of the correct installation of their air filters and also if they would charge such high prices to replace it.

This place doesnt even deserve one star. It was poor customer service all the way around. First of all, I dealt with Charles, however he was off the day we went to get the car. So we were supposed to deal with Sara. We were looking at the car and Larry Bert came out to see if we needed help. We told him that we came for the car and that Sara was supposed to help us. He took us inside and we met Sara. However, we were tossed back to Larry. We felt like all we did was get tossed around. No one in that dealership had a good personality. Most of the time salesman are friendly and helpful, but we did not find that in ANYONE in this dealership!!!! So while we were getting tossed around, someone was supposed to be cleaning the car up. I think a 5 year kid could wash a car better than they did. They got inside the car and swirled the dirt on the windshield and made one heck of a mess. It was the absolute most unprofessional and worst car washing that I have ever seen. To top it all off, they didnt even have physical papers for me to sign. I am 63 and would have preferred physical papers, but I wasnt given a choice. So I had to sign a tablet with a stylus which resulted in terrible signatures. Then they gave me a thumb drive with all of the paperwork on it that I had signed. Again, they didnt give me a choice. I do not feel as if ANYONE deserved a commission off of the sale of this car!!!! This was the worst car buying experience that I have ever had and I do not recommend this dealership whatsoever!!!!

Ask lots of questions about your vehicle and who will be working on it. You run the risk of having one mechanic work on your special vehicle because theres on one mechanic that specializes in your vehicle and it can take up to 3 days just for that one mechanic to change brakes. Also, be aware of the recommendations you get, always seek a second opinion. 3 days with no vehicle and no offer from a dealership that has cars on the lot that can be used as a loner vehicle. Truly disappointed with this experience. Why should I ever go back for this kind of service.

I was told service would take about 1 hour. 5 hours later I had to call twice to get a status. I was told a part had to be ordered for the first issue and it was back ordered, but The second issue was corrected. When I got into my vehicle nothing had been fixed. I had to go back in to Helen who said “oh guess I gotta order that part too”. So I waisted an entire day and accomplished nothing.

I would give less if I could . I was flat out lied to several times that I caught . First they tell me they can’t give my quoted trade in value because my truck had over 100k miles ( 103,748) and they couldn’t sell anything with more then 100k. They would have to sell it wholesale . While I waited I pulled up their website, multiple used vehicles on their lot with more miles then mine . Transferred my tags, it never went thru . Called after 3 months they said they were mailed out 30 days ago . Next day they told me the DMV denied the transfer . For 3 months I drove a vehicle on dead tags that was not registered . Check my window sticker I was charged for a dealer installed option that I didn’t have . Called my salesman he said “oh they just put that in there “ . When. I told him I was charged $350 and new what the option was he changed his tune . “Oh yea they told me that was missing “ . So he knew and never told me . I will never give them any of my business again !

Worst customer service in the industry. Service department was rude. Brought my truck in two times in the last 2 weeks to fix an issue. Why it was not fixed the first time around I do not know. I got the run around and paid over $700 for the services. While thinking about trading my vehicle in for a newer truck I sat with a sales rep, Rocky, who was fantastic. Only reason I am giving a star. He asked if I got a rental from the service since they had my vehicle for multiple days. I said no. He said that was very odd. The first time I brought my truck in they had the truck for 4 days. Nobody called for 2 days giving me a status. I had to call multiple times and finally they said it slipped through the cracks. I work 6 days a week. I need to figure out ride situations and they could care less. I go to get my truck. Get in to my truck to drive away and notice all of my center consul belongings were scattered on the passenger seat and floor. Dirty hand prints on the dashboard, center consul and screen. I had the manager look and he did nothing. If you move something put it back where you found it! Do not go there for service!!!!

We have always had good service on our vehicle here, however this last time we needed major repairs done we paid nearly 4,000 and with our receipt got coupons that could be used a 10% off on next service which couldn’t be used for tires oil change we needed to get the breaks done turned around paid 600.00 for that and when asking if we could use the COUPON THAT WAS GIVEN TO US BY YOUR COMPANY TOLD NO because there was a discount on some bull because nothing on my receipt says a discount instead of keeping a customer you cheat a customer I just could not believe that no where on the coupon with exclusions included does it say not for breaks and rotators I plan on calling and speaking to the MANAGER because this is poor business and I know that we all want to rip people off but don’t give out coupons if you aren’t going to honor them!!!

I have been taking my 2016 duramax to jba since I bought the truck for all service and tires. This past visit I had to replace break pads and roters. They told me the roters were damaged due to pads being down to the metal. I was never told the break pads needed replaced. Could of saved over 1000 if the service tec did there job and completed the inspection of the vehicle as they are supposed to. Never going back.

Started out horrible. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for 1 p.m. on Tuesday, 9/7/2021 for a Bluetooth problem. Made it clear I was going to wait for the repair to be done. Cleared my very busy schedule for that entire afternoon. Arrived at 12:50 p.m. and got checked in and directed to the waiting room. Waited 40 minutes and then was told by Bill Hendry who had checked me in that the service department was too busy to work on my car! Needless to say, I lost my mind and demanded to speak to the Service Manager. Ben, the manager, looked at the repair order and said he could get the issue fixed in about 10 minutes and he did! So, it ended well but not without a lot of hassle and upset which is the reason for my rating.

Was not satisfied with the service dept. I chose jba when I was in town and my car broke down because I purchased my car from them and I figured they’d have the staff and parts to repair my car. I expressed my need to get repair done quickly (I was from out of town and had appts at home). I dropped my car off on a Monday night. It was wed am before they diagnosed o2 sensor and repairs weren’t complete until after 4pm. I was charged $450 for the o2 sensor repair and some software updates (which I’ve been told should be free). I should have gone to Baxter’s. When I was advised of o2 sensor diagnosis I was told part was in stock. When I asked why repair took so long I was told they had to go get the part. Communication was very poor and I wasn’t confident in what I was hearing.

The service center service was great. I would of have a five star but I was sold an extended warranty and was flat out lied to about there was no appointment needed, the was a priority lane. There is no such thing. I had to wait, no fault of the service center. They were truly sorry I was lied to but I wouldn’t have bought the extended warranty. I was able to cancel it but it cost me a little over $150.00 to do so. Very disappointed. Now everyone one else was great. I wasn’t happy I lost money to cancel the extended warranty that I wouldn’t of bought in the first place if I wasn’t lied to. What ever you do don’t buy it.

4.9 Called and spoke to Pablo the sales manager for an appointment. He got us in quickly with Brian Mccauley from sales. We were there initially just to test drive several Yukon and Tahoe models. We were straight forward with him about our needs and that we were not looking to purchase a vehicle. Brian was super professional, friendly, and devoted to us. He did not pressure us in the least. We tested 5 vehicles. Somehow we found one we really liked. Ended up trading our truck in and got what we expected. The dealership is clean and inviting. The finance department was speedy as well. Got a great Tahoe which was priced fairly according to my research. Give Brian a call. I was not paid for this review. I do not work for JBA.

I greatly appreciate not being sold. My husband and I had been looking at cars all day, we knew what we needed and knew our budget. We had experienced every type of sleazy used car salesmen types. When we arrived at JBA, Nick met us at the front door, listened to our needs and didnt try to over-sell us on anything. The Finance Department worked with us on trading in our old vehicle and meeting our requirements within our budget. We had a wonderful experience from the minute we pulled into the parking lot to the minute we drove away with our new car.

Service is horrible. I dropped my car off at 7:30 AM to have an oil change, cabin air filter replaced and to have my XM radio updated. At 2:30 PM it had just gone back to the shop to be looked at. They wanted me to leave my car overnight because they had gotten backed up in the service department. The manager, Phil, that I spoke with on the phone about my frustration was very rude. I will not be taking my car to that location again!

If I could give this place no stars I would! I bought my truck here and was told that I had this excellent Maintence plan that would follow us with the military. Once arriving at my new duty station they informed us that it was only good in Maryland at this dealership. Do not go here if you want to fork out money and be told lies by there finance officers. They do not work well and or understand the military !!!! Very unhappy with the customer service around here they are not personable at all.

Our service advisor (Brittany) was very good at keeping us in the loop with the on-going and costly repairs to our 2011 Camaro convertible. We are extremely disappointed that after spending close to $8,000 in repairs, we now are going to have to pay an additional amount to have a second key that worked prior to the service programmed to work.

From beginning to end was a very exhausting experienceWe asked to be reserved a car for rent that would accommodate 4 kids car seats. They gave us a Nissan Rouge. Big enough for 2. 2 trips to enterprise to fix that mistake.2nd hurdle to be dealt with is it took 2 days to complete an oil change, burnt brake bulb, and fix tv screen. I will say that is what it is. Then was asked if we wanted to replace our 2 front tires and alignment. I agreed. It did need to be done. 2 days later the car was “ready”. Went to pick it up we are told there was a problem with the transmission. So I bring a car with 41,000 miles on it with no serious problems and leave with a car that slips gears and shakes on acceleration. After talking with JBA, I’m told it was nothing they did and it was a strange coincidence. We brought the car back in and the problem that wasn’t their fault was fixed. By the way the problem was something they did. Don’t tell me it was not something you did well knowing common sense would say otherwise

I purchased my Tahoe new in November 2019. I brought in it for an oil change and tire rotation on 4-26-21. This is the 2nd oil change but just my first tire rotation. I discovered that there was no key for the locking lugs. I never had a need to look for one before so did not know it was not in the car when purchased. I was advised that I would have to purchase a new kit for $70.00. Very disappointed that I wasnt given a free replacement as I obviously never received one to begin with. As I said there was never a reason to look for it until the first tire rotation. The vehicle service itself was fast and efficient, just not happy with being told Im responsible for a part that was not in the vehicle to begin with.Thanks for listening

It may cost u alittle but know to be sure that the best is working on your car. I rather pay alittle more to know what is realy wrong with my car and get it fix right then going to someone whos guessing they know but realy dont. I never had a bad visit at JBA and left with my car fix the right way.
