Hello Bryon Buckland again.... the American Gas Station on Route 2 on top of the hill is one of my, go to places for morning time or evening time. Is there gas is very compatible and price. Now, the restaurant inside? It has changed names one business every 2 to 3 months. I dont know why a couple of them have been very good maybe it is the pr? Or people go there to buy gas and thats it. But the young kids that work there normally have a very good demeanor, polite and speak English very well. If you can I recommend making American Gas Station one of your go-to quick stops. Remember it is a convenience store youre not buying stuff for the price! Till next time.......

First, the cost is ridiculous compared to other places, Second, you shouldn’t smoke in front of the customers face, Third, I’d you like pet stray mice running around your feet then go for it. Last thing is a language barrier, it was almost impossible to understand the mechanic.

They did an inspection for me and failed me on so much stuff. I never got estimates from the things wrong with my vehicle. They were short and rude and the weather wasn’t good enough to do a inspection. My mechanic friend informed me. They also ruined my wheel lock nut.

I came to get my Maryland state inspection done from this location. The guy that does the state inspection is very detailed and looks at everything. Including tiny holes or small cracks all around the body. There’s a very high chance that you’re inspection will be filed at this location. But the worst part about is the customer service from the owner who is a young white guy in early 30s. Extremely rude when you ask him questions. Does not try to cooperate with you on anything. He will try to get as much work out of the car so you can get it done at this location. I’m pretty sure that’s a conflict of interest. This young white guy when I asked him a question about how much is it going to cost me to get re-inspection he would not give me a straightforward answer. I also had an issue with getting one of the wheel locks because I had lost the key and the guy was charging me $49.95 to just open the locks (which by the way I got it done down the street for $10). Honestly I think this place is a rip off I do not recommend anybody bringing in their car here for any sort of work. It would save you a lot of money and headache to go to someplace else.

Wonderful experience. Ill definitely be back. Fair priced, fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. I needed an inspection done and called the day of, 3 hours before they closed, and they had me in within an hour. They found 1 problem and fixed it immediately and quickly. What impressed me the most is how knowledgable the mechanic is. I know nothing about cars. But I teach medical students and know that if they dont extremely understand the technical/scientific part of the diagnosis/treatment plan they cant explain it well to the average patient. My mechanic explained everything clearly and simply and he even showed me on my car what/why he fixed. By the end of my conversations with him I actually learned something. Thank you!

Needed my taillight inspected. They were both working fine, but the man at the counter continued to tell me my brake lights needed to be lit also....without pushing my brake pedal. What kind of sense does that make? He’s also very rude. I would not recommend.

Great service!! Jack was kind, responsive, prompt and helpful!! My tire was leaking air badly and he worked the problem and got me back on the road quickly!! Will go to him again!

Jack is the owner/operator and is the best, most honest mechanic I have ever been to. Being a woman, I have had my fair share of macho men that think women dont know anything about cars and proceed to try to rip me off (like I have that kind of money to spend). He is the first person to show me first hand what the problem was and I never had any doubt that the part(s) that needed to be replaced were bad since he showed me the old part(s) and what was wrong with them. I have been taking my 2004 Hyundai Sonata to him for over 2 years now and I plan to keep on going back.

Very unorganized. Rude “mechanics” and a waste of time. No sense of customer care what so ever. However the guy in the gas station store was very nice

I have done business with the people of this facility for many years prior to them moving in to this location. Theyve always treated me properly. In fact, I have an appointment for next week to take care of some maintenance issues.I dont understand the negative postings here. Theyre completely inconsistent with my experiences. Maybe they commented here by mistake??

If I could give no stars I would. I took my truck on for a msi. I been driving my truck since I brought it from PA and it was just inspected there. I know they have different laws but new brakes master cylinder etc was put on before I brought it. I set a appointment for the am dropped it off after driving it to work then there. They had my car from 9:30 until it was about time for them to close I called before they closed to see the results of inspection I was informed it was several things wrong first they said I need a wheel bearing it had so much play in it that they couldnt check that side ball joints then I was told my exhaust is leaking my wiper blades that only a month old was tore and my brake line was leaking for a grand total of 2k to fix oh my front struts bounce more then two times ummm ok well I declined the work because Im not paying 2k and Im a mechanic. I need to get msi license .now as far as the wheel bearing go they way they said it had play I would heard that nosie next I bounce the truck 1and half bounce last but not least I go to pull off and go hit the brake I now dont have any brakes I check the line and there is a pinhole Im going to take my truck to someone else inspection station. Pay for another inspection then fix what they find. I will not let them reinspect it.stay far away from this place drove truck th $then have to have it towed out to. I will complete the work and go to another INSPECTIO STATINÀG

I brought my car in to see if there’s any problem with my car they were very fast and accurate to find out what seem to be the problem with my car and give me a very very great price. Very fast service very friendly.

Every time i went to get md inspection he wasnt there to do it.

I came here to have my battery changed and I was told they would have a new battery put. After three months my truck began having power issues and I took it to a different auto shop where they informed the battery was old and needed to be changed. MD State Inspection are just con men.

Had an older car inspected at this place. Got it inspected, took the car back to get fixed somewhere else--conflict of interest getting it fixed in the same place inspection happens. Took the car back, and he found more issues with the car than the first time.This mechanic obviously lines his pocket extorting money from people who bring the car for inspections. Find another place!

This place is a RIP OFF

I had to pay for the same inspection 3 times do yourself a favor save yourself money headache and time find somewhere different it take forever look at your car or even just to work on it half the time only one person is working in the shop and Ill take them years to get anything done
