Brought in my Subaru today after having two nails in opposite axel of my tires. Was able to drive in on a spare & get patched under an hour. Was helped by Jordan & very friendly staff. This location does Oil Changes, Brakes, and Struts, and Minor Mechanical Patches as well. Same owners of over 30 years, what a great location. Rest of staff seems happy too. I dont normally write reviews, but I needed to say something! My boyfriend and I hit a massive bolt and it popped our tire pretty good. We had to ride on our spare for a bit before getting it looked at. No where could patch it (sadly) because the hole was too big. We had to get a new tire. After calling TWO other Big O Tires locations, we reached out to this one. They were able to get us in as soon as we arrived. Kurtis was extremely helpful, and gave us a sweet deal on the new tire we needed! He was also able to get it done for us in about 25-30 minutes, which was great since we were just down in the area to visit some friends! The service was AWESOME!

If I could give 6 stars I would! Going down the road I hit a curb and blew out a tire. They got me in right away for a new tire and got it realigned all together! Kindest staff ever and Kurtis up front got me a good deal to stay on an unexpected budget. Thank you a million times over!

Excellent customer service. We were looking for a specific tire and a unique installation and the guys took the time to work with us and suggested a few options that worked out even much better than our original thoughts. Very knowledgeable and willing to spend the time even though they were crazy busy. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

I want to say the customer service at this facility was like no other. They went above and beyond to get us taken care of. We were on vacation and the Fox rental place gave us a car with the worse tires ever. Never use them. They helped us contact and get approval for new tires and once approved got us back on the road asap. Very impressed everyone there.

I came in with a shredded tire from my Cadillac, which left me stranded halfway down a nearby mountain. I love this big O tires in Golden! Customer service is beyond amazing. They warrantied my last alignment within 30 days, and offered me useful info on alignment plans. 1 alignment runs about 100 bucks here but they have a 1 year unlimited alignment plan for only about 140! They have 3 and 5 year plans too and its very affordable. I would have to come back anyways after replacing my suspension parts for yet another alignment in addition to today and this really saved me a lot of stress and this is why I only go here.

Aaron, Jordan and Kurtis turned and emergency situation into a literal walk in the park up the street. They had me in and out in no time and my infant son was none the wiser that dad blew a tire without a spare!

I needed an oil change and tire rotation. I called on a Friday morning and asked if they had any availability. They told me to come down right away. They got me in almost immediately. They offered a free alignment check too. I didn’t have to wait long and the service advisor was friendly and knowledgeable. I got my car back just as clean as when I gave it to them. Definitely going back for any other service I’ll need in the future.

One of the best places Ive been for work in a long time. The gentlemen up front really show professionalism and actually know what they are talking about when it comes to repairs and services. I brought them a truck I just had inspected at my neighborhood mechanic. They found the exact same issues and even wrote me up a quote based on mileage services that GM requires. They dont try to sell me BS that I dont need and dont rip me off on pricing either. A full inspection and alignment check was free, just as advertised, and very timely. The mechanic even brought me out back to show me the issues in person. I saw the work done and wasnt blindly sold. Good work!

Dont ever bring your vehicle here for an alignment. I had to come here three separate times and my truck still pulls to the right.The first time I came for my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, they waited an hour until they decided to tell me that they still hadnt even touched my truck because the car on the rack before me was having complications. They couldnt tell me about that when I arrived for my APPOINTMENT?I rescheduled and came back again and the same thing happened. Again, I made an APPOINTMENT and this time I waited 30 minutes before asking myself why my truck wasnt touched yet. Worst part is that there was absolutely no reason they hadnt gotten it on the rack yet. They did do an alignment though.Before the alignment the truck drove straight, but the tires were wearing funny. After the alignment the truck is all over the place over every bump and it pulls to the right.I mentioned this over the phone and came in for a third time. Luckily this time they got me in right away. I told them that I drive this vehicle on long highway trips mostly and that the pull to the right was important to me to fix. I insisted that they took it on the highway to test drive it for this exact reason.Apparently they didnt even bother. I got the truck back and low and behold the second I got back on the highway it pulled to the right still.After everything I had gone through and visiting on three separate occasions and them not addressing an issue that they created, I refuse to go back, not even to fix my problem. I just got back from a trip to California and I didnt even think it was possible, but my arm is actually sore from having to hold the steering wheel straight the entire time.This type of service is absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable. No person should have to go through what I have just for a simple alignment. I would never recommend this shop to anyone.

Great group of people working here!! Came in for a last minute repair because the dealership was to busy to get me in. I totally understand that walk ins may have a bit of a wait but these guys got me in and out and back on the road. Thanks!!

I had a freak accident a flagstone pop up in my driveway and punctured a big hole in my gas tank. Of course I just filled it. Called Curtis and he was going to check if he could find a used one for a 2002 Lincoln Continental and he did. They replaced and installed a new fuel pump in no time. Awesome crew and awesome service. Been a customer since day one and highly recommended Big O tires.

The guys at Big O in Golden have been great to work with. They always accommodate our busy schedule. We are able to drop a vehicle off and they complete what ever tire care we are in need of. This time they went above and beyond helping us out with a tire/wheel combo and replacement. They make sure when they put the wheel and tires in the vehicle they not only bagged the tires but also protected the seats to ensure no damage.

Man, oh, man. Where do I start? I came here early last year to get a new set of tires and I was pretty disappointed. I had been to other Big O locations and loved the service I had gotten and that experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Then I went back to get a set of new tires for my shell camper and it was a complete 180. To start with, Kurt went out of his way to help me with everything I asked. Every. Single. Time. And with the upmost professionalism. Jay and Paxton assisted me not only with my tire change but also with my an issue I had with getting my ball hitch of of my truck (it was stuck on) and did so EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD TO STAY PASSED CLOSING. Erin (or Eric?) helped ease my mind concerning a potential issue with the tires I had purchased. And finally, when I brought a friend from out of town by with some tire issue, Emma got them set up, looked at and out the door, happy as can be within a couple of hours. I have worked customer service and hospitality for over 10 year and, as a manager of both fields, if you I had folks like this on my team, I would work hard to hold on to them as long as I could. Big O Tires, GIVE THEM A RAISE!!!

The staff at the time.of.my visit was great, I need a new rim for 1 of my tires, I was told it would be 2 days, it is 2 weeks and a few phone calls later. I keep getting told by Aaron that he will.check into it and call back, call back never happens, I will never do business with Big O tires again

Cant express enough thanks to this impressive team of tire doctors! I punctured my Nokian snow tire on I-70, and my spare didnt fit around my front brake caliper. Stranded on the exit ramp, a CDOT hero drove my wheel and me to Big O, and the team quickly repaired my tire at no charge and even drove me back to my stranded car on the exit ramp... and this was 6pm on a Friday! I would have been properly fd without these guys. So appreciated!!

Sean did a great job at the Golden store getting me in and out with a new set of tires. He also clearly explained the differences between the different brands and styles so I could make an informed decision on selection. The service counter and waiting area were nice and clean and they were actively disinfecting the seating and counters which I really appreciated. The service technicians were friendly and professional. Overall a great experience and how often does that happen when you need a new set of tires! Highly recommend you go see these guys when you need tires.

Went down to the Golden location to get my alignment tested because I messed up on a 4x4 trail and threw out my steering. Kurtis was extremely helpful and squeezed me into the schedule, and the people in the back were able to quickly diagnose the issue as a pitman/idler arm. Most places wouldnt have been willing to still put a vehicle on the alignment rack for free, knowing I wouldnt be paying for an alignment that day due to the broken parts, but Kurtis told me I was up next and they were able to confirm that my alignment was extremely close. This made it where I could complete my hunting trip without worrying about uneven wear on my mud tires and worry about the rest when I get back.

Went in for a free tire rotation, service was fast and friendly. Nothing exceptional, but good service.

Justin, Eugene, and the rest of the team at this store took excellent care of my teenage daughter’s vehicle. They saved me a second trip planned to a different mechanic by doing everything I needed in one appointment this morning. I couldn’t be more pleased with their work and professionalism.

Tech service, check in and out, and products good. Additionally they warranted my tire as per my road hazard warranty. This all said, the experience was diminished by not getting status updates on my tires damage and if I needed to replace it or getting a call that my tire was finished and that I should come in for the Tech to put the tire on the ground and replace the other tire. No keeping the customer informed was a pain and made a 45 minute job take over 2 1/2 days to be completed.

The Crew at big o’s in golden went above and beyond to help me out of a jamb. Kelly and the manager really worked with me to fix my daughters suv with electronic parking brake so she could get back on the road. Thanks again big o, your earned 10 stars If I could give them!!!Mike.

I was informed by a mechanic I needed a water pump. I wanted a second opinion. Took it to Big Of in Golden and saved hundreds of dollars. They secured a hose with the proper gasket (put on improperly by another shop) and made sure my vehicle was running in an hour after I got there. Not the first time they helped me. They are fast, courteous and reliable.

We always come here to get our tires. We have multiple vehicles. They usually always have our tires in stock and they are pretty quick. Benjamin helped us this time. He’s relatively new but he’s still helpful. And I appreciated his help! Thanks everyone!

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, and the service was great! The mechanic accidentally pepper sprayed himself with my key chain (to be fair it doesn’t look like normal pepper spray) but was a super good sport about it. 10/10 would come back.

Friendly staff ! Excellent place for tire/wheel service. The management is very transparent about the waiting time which is very minimum. The car got ready in 1.5 hours after leaving with them.I got my tires changed last year in the same place. This year, I came here for alignment. My car was handled by Fyrd and he did a great job in wheel alignment.Would highly recommend the place for car services.

I had a wonderful experience here getting winter tires put on! Everyone is super helpful and kind and I got a good price on my tires. It took less than two hours to have the tires put on, air filter changed, and alignment checked all while I hiked south Table mountain. Gave me good advice about other aspects of my vehicle as well. Will go back to purchase all weather tires in the summer

Tried to sell me new inner/outer tie rods to get alignment done when they had just been replaced. Another shop was able to get the alignment done easily.

I came in because I had a very flat tire that was beyond repair. The store did not happen to have my tire size in stock, but they called around to every store trying to find anyone with the right sized tire. Unfortunately, no one had it in stock, and because I lived pretty far out of town, I needed to call a roadside maintenance person to bring me a spare. Big O was very accommodating while I waited, and even installed the spare for free when it arrived. Great bunch of guys, and I thank them very much for doing all the could to get me back on the road!

I brought tires in to get them recycled, which was quick, cheap, and easy. Im a little disappointed that there was no signage about masks and no employees in the lobby area were wearing them? Jefferson County is requiring masks to be worn in public spaces. I wore a mask to limit potential transmission to your employees, you cant do the same for me?

The only tire shop in golden that had free air with no problem the 3 other shops said air is froze and not helpful at all its good to see a staff of good young men eager to do there jobs !!Thanks Big O !!!!!!

Good service except tried to get me to do repairs that werent really necessary.

I got my tires replaced with them in December of 2018/January 2019 and they wore out by July 2020. When we went in to replace my tires in July 2020 the tire went flat within 4 days of getting these four brand new tires, with no sign of puncture. They have the audacity to ask if I want to pay $50 extra to have this new tire, they had to replace my flat new tire with for a warranty. So now three of my tires are under warranty and the fourth one isnt. I also got my breaks replaced with then in December 2019, by July 2020 they tell me I need them replaced again along with my routers. Not only do they seem to do a bad job, there is at least a 2 to 4 hour wait every time. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We had a flat tire on our truck and brought it to Big O Tires. The tire couldnt be fixed so they said we could purchase 2 new tires, but since it was near closing time we would have to wait until Monday. We had a trip over the weekend that we wouldnt be able to make it to without the new tires. Justin overheard us saying this and then spoke with his manager. Justin then told us he could put the tires on that night, but he would have to do it himself since he would finish after close. Justin quickly rotated our tires and put the two new tires on and got us back on the road so we could still do our trip. Thank you Justin! Awesome customer service.

They were very busy that day and apologized for the wait, also gave me updates on time the best they could and I think they filled my windshield fluid! Not sure if that is standard with an oil change or was a thanks for my wait but I very much appreciated it. The last place I went for my oil does not do that. Excellent service!

Big O repaired two flat tires from screws embedded in the tread and were very professional and expedient with their service. Josh assisted with both tire repairs and was great to work with - attentive, professional and courteous. I bought 3 sets of tires for my 3 cars from Big O several years ago. I brought all 3 over 2 days to get the tires rotated. The guys couldnt have been nicer. The work was fast. I asked them to look a few things fully expecting to be told I need work done; no work was needed. Keep an eye on things, but nothing bad. Great service! They always treat me well.

I went to Discount Tires for almost 15 years and did have good service there. Then I realized one day had Big O right around the corner. They are quicker in service than Discount and Ive had nothing but positive experiences there. I highly recommend the Big O on south golden Road.

My particular transactions were not a normal Retail transaction. . . I was doing business with Big O for 2 different Clients. Tony, the Assistant Manager was VERY helpful in obtaining the proper Product and Information. . . The 2 or 3 different Associates that I interacted with were very pleasant and helpful! If you live in Colorado, you know how crazy this time of year is trying to get snow tires installed. I walked in with two cars when it was crazy busy and Tony and Danny helped out right away and did everything possible to get my tires installed and kept me posted on progress. The store was very busy and Tony and Danny were friendly, helpful and professional to everyone that was coming and going. I highly recommend this store because of the service.

Had an appointment for 10:00 am, arrived early was attended to by Sean.Only had to perform a Rotation and check on a puncture.Did not start work until 10:40 even though out of 6 (visible) employees, only 3 were actually doing anything. Location was by no means busy.My rotation and puncture repair was done by Ben in a courteous and efficient manner and I was out within 25 minutes.Had to return to have the TPMS Sensor on the puncture repaired as it was not working.HAD TO WAIT FOR A FULL 90 MINUTES TO GET A 7 minute replacement!! And again, they were NOT busy.WORST service I have ever experienced at a customer centric business!Was first time at this location and wont be back.

This is my go to tire place. The staff has alway been professional, fair and trustworthy. I recently moved from Golden but I still come here for their honesty and fair trade practices.

We have been going to the Golden Big-O-tires for more than 15 years and considered it very reputable. Today we changed our mind after we took our Forester to have the tires rotated. We received a call from them and they said that our engine air filter needed to be replaced and that the front brake shoes were shot. Two days ago we were at our car dealer to get a new windshield and they did a courtesy inspection. The dealer found no issues. After hearing from Big-O-Tires, I called the Service Manager at the dealership and he confirmed that the brake shoes and air filter were fine. When we picked up our car from Big-O-Tires, I spoke with Sean and told him we had just had the car inspected and there were no issues. He brought the car back in and together we inspected the front brake shoes and they were fine. He offered that the technician had measured it incorrectly and was sure it was an honest mistake. He also pulled the air filter and it was full of sand, which he tapped out onto a work bench. We replaced the air filter ourselves.

I purchased a set of tires for my Toyota Tacoma and requested an alignment. They installed the tires but told me the bushings on the steering were worn so they couldnt do an alignment without a nearly $400 repair. I refused because I had just had the truck fully inspected by a reputable dealer who found no such issue and knew they were trying to up sell me. Having trained as an auto-mechanic in the past I knew this is the typical approach. The next day I took the truck to another (reputable) alignment shop and they found no problems with the steering and completed the alignment.

Sean and Keith are the best! I was super stressed about my brake lights and in a time constraint. They took care of me and got me in and out in no time. I will definitely be back there for my next automotive needs!

There were three young men who were very helpful in getting this job done in less than a day even though the tires were not in stock on a very snowy and icy day. Cannot remember their names. tires are great, service was great.

Traveling and they did fit us in, however, did not have tire needed, then after waiting several hours with a disabled spouse stated it would be 2 more days until tire comes in. Asked them to put any tire that would fit to get us home. It did get us home

Appreciated the Purcell and tires placed in front of service desk to keep me six feet away. As an elder, was very nervous about the young people in close proximity. Had been hiding out except for walks prior to the emergency flat tire.

I visited the South Golden Rd location to have winter tires mounted and balanced. One of the lugs/studs was stripped and could not be re-installed. The staff took no responsibility for the issue, placing blame on the previous shop that mounted the tires. They explained that it is fine to ride without one of the five lugs, but other mechanics would disagree. The store also took little care in keeping my vehicle clean while in the shop; there was mud and dirt throughout the vehicle (seats, floor, steering wheel, shifter) after having it returned to me. Overall, it was not a great experience.

The best part about shopping there was when a guy didnt know the answer, he did not just say I dont know but asked someone who did know and I got what I needed.

Advice to females: Don’t go to a car place alone if you don’t want to get taken advantage of and that is exactly what happened to me at the Big O in Golden. I came in with a flat tire and they took my car back and said i had a nail stuck in my tire and it was Unrepairable. I bought my car brand new 6 months ago so i was very disappointed to hear that. They told me because my other tires had 6 months of wear on them that they could only sell me 4 tires. I asked for cheaper options and for them to maybe just sell me 2 tires and they refused to do that. The cheapest quote was $800! So every time i hit a nail i now have to spend 800?! I had them put on a spare and left the place in tears. I did some research and found a set of nice tires at Firestone for $200 cheaper. When I went to Firestone they told me I was able to buy 2 tires but instead they repaired my original tire! It cost me $20! Shame on you Big O for trying to take advantage of a woman who doesn’t know much about tires 👎 Make sure you get a second opinion like I did! They just want their money!

All the technicians as well as Ken seem to be good guys, however their manager Sean is unethical. He will rip you off as soon as he gets a chance. I would go anywhere else to get work done on my car even if they cost a bit more.

Ken is the nicest person ever - he greeted me with a smile early in the morning, was clear and upfront with what was going to be done on my car, followed up in a timely manner with what services they thought were necessary, and called immediately upon completion of the job. Tony and the guys here are great! They always take good care of us. They said it would be an hour to put on our new tires and we were out the door in an hour. Thats why we keep coming back.

Brought one tire in to swap out because one was bald. They said no prob bring it in. I bring it in, and show the guy at the front. Hand him the keys and go sit outside. ~15 minutes later I look in the garage and the wrong wheel is off the truck. Needless to say I spent another hour and half trying to get one wheel swapped out. Inexperienced staff and do not recommend to anyone trying to get any work done. Save your money and time.

So I drive up and ask to have my tire pressure checked all around, and they air them up, and say, - no charge. But 4 or 5 days later, pressure down in the bad tire again. They are so nice on the phone, and say bring it in now....they did two plugs and bam! All better. First time customer!! So nice and quick, so easy, thank you for making my day! Ill be bringing my car back for oil changes now too.

Troy and his staff are fantastic! Super competent and knowledgeable . I had two cars with warm a/c that they evacuated, recharged in one day, and of course they werent simple jobs. They took it with stride, went the extra mile, and got the job done. There waiting room was fantastic too! I highly recommend this Big O!

I came in at a particularly difficult day, when the phones were down. Sean, the employee who helped me, was professionally dealing with some very difficult customers in a very difficult circumstance. He was kind, professional, and concise in helping me, he apologized because of the amount of work going on, and invited me back another time for an alignment. His attitude was excellent given the circumstances, and I feel he was an excellent face for the company.

First flat tire of my life - I was a little nervous. :) Justin and the guys at Big O were super helpful and super friendly!
