Bodacious Diesel is the best! I took my truck here to get serviced and was very impressed. They were very thorough and answered all questions I had. If I lived in the area this would be my go to place for my Duramax! Also highly recommend stocking up on their diesel additive.

Truck was towed to shop for crank no start. They insisted my high pressure oil pump was leaking and not producing pressure. They would not send in my diesel high pressure pump in to diesel site where I purchased the pump and was under warranty .instead they pressured me into buying a new ford pump. The new pump was not adequate for my upgrades. I sent the removed pump back for warranty inspection and was told the pump was in perfect operational condition. I was lied to and had unnecessary repairs done which we’re not required needlessly costing me thousands of dollars. do not use bodacious diesel! They are crooks!!!! They are the a den of thieves!!! Do not take your truck to this place unless you like to be robbed!!!!!I

While traveling into the Denver are I called and made appointment. Arrived early but was taken in right away. Once there I asked if they also could change my fuel filters. Since they are an extremely well stocked shop they also could change the filters.Speaking with Mel while the work was being done he suggested we take the time to visit Red Rocks. THANK YOU MEL !!! The best diagnostic and repair shop for diesel trucks in the front range. Ive had my truck at other places that couldnt figure out my issues or didnt notice things that Bodacious did once I started bringing my truck to them. Jeremiah and Mel run a great shop that goes the extra mile!

They are very knowledgeable people. My check engine light kept coming on so I have the code checked. When I told them what it was and my symptoms they were able to tell my what was going on. I was traveling thru (headed home) so I had to keep moving otherwise they would of been do the work. If Im ever in the area with issues they will be the ones I call.

My DEF sending unit went bad. They replaced that. About 3 weeks later the new one failed, not their part not their fault. They took my truck and replaced it again under warranty. They are always professional when I’m there and do a great job. I was real impressed with their honesty on the warranty work, they didn’t try to B.S. me on it not being covered. That shows a lot about the character of their shop and employees.They are definitely my go to shop for my Duramax.

The folks at Bodacious Diesel are now my go to shop for my Ram 3500. Not only were they able to get my truck looked at right away, but they communicated with me through the whole process regarding the replacement of my turbo charger. They also provided me with a great education on what to do to prevent this from happening again. Stuff that the dealer should have done.Another shop that looked at my truck before Bodacious Diesel had told me that my valve cover gasket needed to be replaced and when I mentioned that, Bodacious told me that wasn’t correct and it was fine. Saved me about a grand in parts and labor.Would highly recommend them!

I had my truck towed into bodacious because I had a rip in my intake tube which I thought was a really easy fix. I walked in and sat there for awhile so I read his article in the post on his wall saying that he was the best mechanic and that he did not play prices with parts and that he didn’t play parts games for cost. On the wall it says starting at $95 an hour. He charged me $120 an hour for 1.5 hours thats $180. $469 for the part when they cost $289. $180 for putting on a part that shouldn’t take more then 1hr it’s It’s literally 4 O-ring clamps. As seen in the picture. So the mark up is like 80% on parts then charges 120 to use a socket set!!!!! PEOPLE LOOK AT THE PART NUMBERS THEN COMPARE!!! THEY ARE RIPPING YOU OFF!!! I talked to him and word for word he said we charge everyone the same!!!! Please look at the photos!!! I called another shop just to make sure. $95 hour and same part for $325. These guys got me for three hundred bucks for a tiny job I can only imagine what it cost to do a rebuild. Lol people that came in had to adjust there bank limits caused they charge so much, not even kidding guy at the counter was like no problem happens like three times a day. These guys are horrible get a quote and look at what there charging you!!!!!!

Bodacious installed my Faas lift pump. 2015.5 Duramax. Great mechanics and that is nearly impossible to find. They are specialists on diesel. Dont trust your truck to a general service garage. Im glad I found them. They also diagnosed the injectors and Bosch pump. Was worth the money to know that my system is doing well as those trucks have an inherent problem with the Bosch unit.

Finding a trustworthy competent mechanic isnt an easy task - especially when you know NOTHING about cars. My husbands F350 went to 2 different shops before making its way to Bodacious, and although I wish we hadnt wasted nearly $1k at the first two shops, Im glad it all resulted in us finding these guys. Jeremiah took the time to not only explain what needed to be addressed with the truck, he really helped with overall advice as to what we should do moving forward. I greatly appreciated the time he took to explain everything to me and that we can cross off looking for a new shop from our list.

I’ve been taking my truck to Jeremiah’s shop since I bought it (used) a year ago. Because it’s an older truck I’ve had a few maintenance issues to take care of: there was an exhaust issue that compounded over the years to culminate in a near-total replacement, as well as smaller jobs here and there that are just part of having an older truck. Jeremiah and his guys have done an excellent job fixing my truck and keeping me on the road! They stand by their work and even fixed a leak on a part they installed two months later! They’ve always made time in their busy schedule to fit my truck in and more often than not have had it done a day (or more) sooner than they estimated when they diagnosed the problem.Because of Jeremiah and his team, I have a solid truck that I trust to drive across the country. I wouldn’t take it anywhere else in the area, these guys are the best!

I used to work at a dealership and they would send a lot of vehicles there for inspection of the emissions equipment that had been removed.The guys there are professional and quick when possible and honest when they’re backed up with a lot of work. Always solid work. They have revived my 24 year old 7.3 from the dead twice now. First time for the fuel system, second time for the transmission which needed a rebuild. Front and rear ends both needed extensive work also. They have always been up front with everything that has needed to be done. Any part they have installed that has failed they have replaced at no cost. My truck is running the best it has since I bought it. Bodacious Diesel did an awesome job when I broke down and was stranded with our diesel truck, a truck camper and a cargo trailer with our motorcycles in it. I was traveling to California to meet my husband for our vacation which included a half marathon and then we were headed to see the Giant Redwoods. I thought all was lost for our vacation when I broke down. But these guys did an amazing job, even working late one day. They gave us the personal, exceptional service you wont get from any Ford Dealership, getting our truck back on the road and saving our vacation. They went above and beyond anything we expected of them. I got out there in time to do my half marathon too. Gotta say Im glad I read the negitive reviews. I called in to see how much they would charge to install my ECM module and they quoted me 4.5 hours!!! I called around to three other shops 80 was the lowest and 120 was the highest for a one hour job. Theres no way this place can keep getting away with this. All I would say is DONT DO IT!!!!

$13,000 I paid bodacious diesel. They sold me a new set of injectors, replace the steering spring, and welded a broken stabilizer bar. $13,000. I drove the truck for an hour and BOOM, breaks down. Towed it back to bodacious, $350.00 to tell me the engine was blown....... never ever use this company, all they care about is their selves

I have 2 GM Duromax diesels trucks so I was looking for a specialized diesel mechanic as the dealer mechanics aren’t as proficient as I need or want. After meeting with Mel and Jeremiah at Bodacious Diesel, I found excellent diesel mechanics that can not only do the specialized work I need done but also complete service! I’m really happy with the work they have done and the time and care they take to know and protect my trucks. 5 Star for sure!!!!

After having Jeremiah sort my eBay special’s mechanicals, I confidently take it everywhere. Moab, Nebraska or skiing, I go anywhere. My Ford 6.0 has been everywhere and in between. From a 6 Leaker to 6 Leader, I can’t complain.

Truck was having a crank no hot start problem, and after replacing the icp and ipr sensor myself and not solving the issue I figured I take it to the experts at Bodacious diesel to troubleshoot the problem, after a few days ( keep in mind these guys have a lot work) I got a call from Jeremiah explaining some of the issues found and an estimate on cost, after 2 or 3 days truck was ready. It has only been 5 days but truck is running better than when I bought it 2 years ago.

After two other shops looked at my truck and couldnt fix it I found Bodacious Diesel. They looked it over, found the engine problem, diagnosed the issue and fixed my steering as well as front suspension slack preventing alignments from holding true. Did all and more and got my truck back to me quicker than the other shops could tell me they couldnt fix it. Best in town in my opinion, theyve earned a life long customer from me.

My truck broke down on vacation 1,500 miles from home. They got me going very quickly with a pretty big repair job. Was so happy they fit me in last minute considering it was a big job. They were very easy to work with and great communication.

I would give Boadacious Diesel 10/10! They are so amazing, professional, and friendly. We were traveling to denver from southern California pulling a 39 ft trailer and our truck was over heating. We made it to our campground and brought the truck to these awesome guys! They went through the truck with a fine tooth comb and gave us a call. They did amazing work and got it back to us in a timely manner. A week after we were heading back to southern California and had some issues. They told us bring it in no problem and again checked it out! Turns out the second issue was our trailer not truck but having our young kids with us I was extremely grateful they checked it all out for us! I cant speak enough kind words about them. About a year and a half ago I had a rebuilt transmission put into my 97 F250. About a week ago the transmission over heated and a seal blew causing the transmission to break down. Bodacious Diesel took care of the transmission past the warranty. All I had to pay for was the labor. Standing by your work in this manner is integrity in my eyes. Thank you Bodacious. Took them my “newly purchased” 2001 Ford F-350 that I got for use around my mountain property and they did an excellent job getting the engine (with 250k on it) running like a top. Major work included injectors, glow plugs, water pump, steering box, bushings, oil pump, valve cover gaskets, bearings, brakes, door lock actuators. Should be good for another 200k.

Jeremiah was great, told me roughly up front to expect, for $95 told me pretty much everything that was wrong with it, gave and best and worst case scenario, ended up being on the high side but only because more work needed done. Trucks been running great since then.

I was treated with so much respect. I dont know much about diesels as I just inherited my late sons truck and kept having issues with it, I took it to Bodacious as I saw they had a 5 star rating. My wife writes...Our diesel truck started smoking and it turned out to be injectors. If you don’t know, injectors are a fairly expensive repair. My husband and I began trying to find someone to trust. Thankfully a google search turned up Bodacious Diesel. Jeremiah was a godsend! He spend time with us before looking at our truck to help us understand the issues with injectors. All other mechanics just wanted to bid the work and move on. We felt comfortable enough to ask them to do the work and couldn’t be happier with the repair! The truck also needed idler arms and a better hp fuel pump etc., to help prevent future problems as we intend to keep it for a good long time.Now I write...working with Jeremiah the owner was an unexpected pleasure, in that he took the time (quite a bit of time), to go over what was needed to repair the white smoke issues (injectors, fuel delivery systems) as well as other contributing issues. He also had his mechanics go over our truck to determine any additional mechanical issues that should be addressed and those that could wait. He was patient in his explanations and straight forward in what the estimated costs for repair would be. I really appreciated that he explained all these things to my wife as well, so we could both make an informed decision on what would be repaired, what would wait, and how much we would be spending.We spent a bundle, but not a dime over what he quoted in his estimate. Our 04 Duramax now runs better than it ever has since weve owned it. Bodacious Diesel provides great service at a reasonable price. My 2009 Duramax was going into limp mode when pulling a heavy load in hot temperatures. Jeremiah knew exactly how to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. He was very patient and thorough in explaining the diagnosis. I couldnt be more pleased with Jeremiah and his staff. We pulled our camper from Wisconsin to Colorado for a week of camping in the mountains. Our Chevy/Duramax sprung a leak in the main radiator hose. I called at least a half dozen places, and Jeremiah was the only one that understood our situation and said he would try to squeeze us into their schedule. I brought the truck in first thing Wednesday morning, and the truck was repaired by noon on Thursday. I am very happy with their service.

This review has some mix feelings. On a long trip with my family, our truck broke down. Keep in mind that I’m a mechanic and work on vehicles for a living. I know that without the proper tools it can be difficult to diagnose and perform repairs, so I decided to look for a shop. After googling and speaking with shops, Jeremiah at Bodacious Diesel was recommended. Because we were on vacation and tight on time he was empathetic to our situation and he got us right in. The guys there diagnosed the problem and found a couple of other things wrong as well. I appreciate them getting us in so quickly and inspecting for other issues. Unfortunately, a couple hundred miles later I had a couple of problems due to workmanship. There was a cut wire which disabled the engine oil pressure gauge and 4wd locking hub bolts were loose. The left side hub came completely off. Mistakes happen, but these are avoidable with a good “once over” of the repairs made...especially when said repairs cost over $3000.Update: Shortly after this review I was contacted by Bodacious diesel. Jeremiah was concerned about what happened and wanted to make it right. We did come to an agreement that both of us were happy with. It seems like a forgotten art sometimes but, every good, successful business has great customer service. Thanks, Bodacious Diesel, for having exactly that. ⭐️ added

Bodacious Diesel is amazing. My truck was making a rattle and I had originally taken it to a ram dealership explaining that my truck is rattling intermittently and explained in order to hear this rattle the windows have to be down and the radio turned off. The end of the day this ram dealer called and said no rattle was heard, the entire truck was inspected and nothing was found that could cause a rattle and gave the truck back to me, on my way home from that dealership I heard the rattle. I recorded it to prove there was a rattle and called the dealer explaining I still had a rattle and sent the recording to the service writer I spoke to. He said he couldn’t hear anything and suggested I drive the truck with a tech with me and I agreed but had to look at my work schedule before I could make an appointment. I figured out a time I could go back to the dealership and my phone calls went unanswered for four days. At that point I decided the dealer isn’t going to help me and google searched diesel shops near me and bodacious came up. I brought my truck to bodacious and spoke to Jeremiah. I explained to him that my truck was making a intermittent rattle, gave him the conditions needed to hear the noise, and Jeremiah and his tech both wanted to hear the recording of this rattle before any diagnosis was started and both the tech and Jeremiah agreed with me that there was a rattle present. I was given a lead time and at this point I was more than happy to wait if it meant getting my truck fixed. My truck was looked at on the day that was promised and it was determined that my flex plate was cracked. When the estimate was given not only did Jeremiah present me with what was wrong and the cost to fix it but shared insight into the commonality of this particular issue on my particular truck and recommended a part that not only would repair the problem but prevent this problem in the future. When I went to bodacious Jeremiah and his team not only did a good job in diagnosing something a ram dealership couldn’t and suggested a repair that would keep this issue from happening again they kept the part and was more than happy to allow me to see it and while Jeremiah was showing it to me he pointed out where the crack was, how a flex plate operated and why a cracked flex plate would cause a rattle. When I went to pick up my truck I asked Jeremiah about the fass lift pump system and if it would benefit me or not. He explained that the lift pumps on my particular truck are still an issue and the injection pump on my truck uses suction to pull fuel from the tank to the injection pump and that can be hard on the injection pump. Jeremiah also explained that this lift pump filters out air and increases injector life and was able to give me numbers to back up just statement. Duramax guys reported up to a 60,000 mile increase of injector life and stated that Cummins guys (including myself) reported a gain of 40-50,000 mile increase in injector life. In all I would strongly recommend bodacious Diesel over any ram dealer and I will be returning to bodacious Diesel to get a fass lift pump installed.

Did a great job on the rig. Fixed a big PITA GM/EPA engineering flaw that pointlessly shuts down trucks, and am very greatful for their work. As a local Golden business owner who appreciates good, honest, decent people I can say this is where you want to bring your truck. Fair, honest pricing and meticulous work that covers all your bases so you’re not breaking down on the road again due to short-sightedness. All their techs and the owner were very customer service oriented and were very professional, despite my palpable annoyance at issues beyond their control that shut down my business for a few days. It makes me want to spend more money with these guys, and all of my business “fleet” will be serviced here going forward. Great guys, Highly recommended!

To say that we were impressed and satisfied with Bodacious is an understatement! We are truly grateful that we found them when we did. In July, we were travelling from Missouri on I-70 just outside of Golden with our 8-ton 5th Wheel when our Dodge 2000 Ram overheated on an uphill grade and essentially blew apart the radiator, head gasket, and water pump. We were towed to Bodacious.I wont go into the details of what caused the extreme damage, except to say that we had received inadequate and incomplete work and diagnostics at home. Plus, in fairness, some things were just due to wear out. Jeremiah explained all of this to us. He told us what repairs absolutely needed to be done and which ones were optional, giving us an accurate estimate of their respective costs.After he had completed the work, he spent about an hour on the road with my husband and me (no charge). He had my husband drive the same hill where the breakdown occurred, giving him a tutorial in how to drive a diesel in the mountains (e.g., when to give more power, when to put it in Overdrive, etc.) No one had ever taken time to do that before, not even when we had an EDGE system installed. That 1-hour education made a world of difference.That isnt the end of our story with Bodacious. After continuing on our extended trip throughout Colorado and Wyoming, we stopped by the shop on our way back to Missouri in late Sept. We did this because we wanted Jeremiah to check out a couple of things which had occurred in the intervening couple of months, rather than having our mechanic at home try to diagnose it. My husband had consulted with him on the phone about these issues while we were travelling. Jeremiah always listened to him and came up with workable temporary solutions. He never made my husband feel that, now that hed completed the work and been paid, he was done with us.It turned out that the source of the issues was a defective fuel pump which had been installed back in July. It was under warranty, and Jeremiah had another one on the shelf, so everyone thought no problem - a quick replacement and were on our way home. However, the manufacturer refused to honor the warranty without having the original part sent to them, then they would certify that it was indeed defective, and authorize a replacement. All of which would take at least 1-2 weeks, if not longer. Jeremiah told my husband, in essence, I cant hold you guys up that long. I know you need to get home now. Im going to rebuild the defective parts myself, absorb the cost, and Ill deal with the manufacturer later. That is TRULY impressive. That speaks volumes for Jeremiahs character and integrity and his awareness that he is dealing with real people with real stress.When you are travelling hundreds of miles from home and have significant vehicle problems, you pray that God will guide you to someone both totally competent and totally honest. One without the other isnt going to really help you. We are absolutely convinced that our prayers were answered that that we really were led to one of the most thoroughly competent and fair places weve ever encountered in our travels. We wish we had a shop like Bodacious at home! (But Jeremiah did advise us on what to look for in a good diesel mechanic at home - so were hoping to find one in which we can have as much confidence and trust as we did Bodacious!)
