After speaking with CarId customer service, I was informed (again), that I should receive an email within 24-48 hours. However, I learned that that radio ($925) was being shipped from P and E Distributors. I called the P and E store in Goodlettesville, TN and was told they could not give me any information on the order. Not if it had shipped, if the order was even placed, or if they had the radio in stock. I kept getting told to call CarId because that’s who sold it to me. I repeatedly explained that Carid will not give me a straight answer about a ship date. So I was connected with another person. She didn’t identify herself as a supervisor so it was probably just a different customer service rep. She told me that there was nothing they could do for me. So, I explained, that if I wind up cancelling the order, then no one would be making any money from this order. It appears that keeping a paid order is not a priority.
Big Thanks to Charles (Chuck) in the sales department. Needed some help getting some parts warrantied that required a lot of tedious work. Even sent pictures to make sure everything was right. Above and beyond! Customer service at its finest!
