I bought a bike from the Plainfield team in March. The staff took great care to understand what I was looking for and help me choose the best bike for me. Six months later I’m loving my bike still and just got a free tune up that came with my purchase. Not only did they tune up the bike but they completely cleaned it for me as well! I Highly recommend any booking aficionado to make village bike ship their go to for all their booking needs!
Wonderful staff who helped me find the perfect mountain bike and even let me put a deposit on one scheduled to come in over a month away. Also did a wonderful job tuning up my old hybrid and adding a few things to make it more comfortable to ride. The employees truly love what they do and it shows with their happiness to help. Thank you!
The manager at the store - Denise was professional and knowledgeable. She took the time to search inventory to find the bike I was looking for! Once the bike was built, I rode it in the store, she made adjustments to the seat and away I went!!
Thank you Josh for the informative bike tire changing class last night at Village Bike and Fitness on Plainfield. You were very patient and made sure all three of us ladies could accomplish the task. We all feel more confident out on the bike trails now knowing we can change a flat and have the right equipment to do it.
Great bike shop, bought three bikes there in the last year and a half, also traded my sons bike in for a larger one. Service was great during the purchases and during the tune up service. Highly recommended
Very knowledgeable, thorough and professional! Cory Bultman is the man when it comes to setting up a bike! I am very fortunate to have been involved with him and Village Bike shop for my first big upgrade. I had no idea what goes in to a complete fit until now. What a difference in how this bike feels. Thanks Cory and Denise at the Plainfield store!
Cory did a bike fit for me back in 2012 and Ive been riding my road bike happily and comfortably all these years. I recently decided to try a gravel bike and Cory, once again, gave me a great fit and advice. Denise (manager of the Plainfield store) has always been very helpful and kept me updated about my bikes arrival. I LOVE my new gravel bike. It feels so good and I can ride for hours!
Despite long delays on bike manufacturing (completely out of Villages control/fault), the folks at Village Bike on Plainfield have been so helpful to me throughout the process. Theyre accommodating and knowledgable.I encourage riders to have Cory conduct a fit for you and then, as long as you stick with Village, theyll always be able to keep your fit in mind when purchasing new bikes, saddles, pedals, etc.
These guys are simply the best when it comes to bikes. They truly are very knowledgeable and detailed in their work. They treat my bikes likes it’s their own. They interact with customers genuinely weather if it’s a lower end cruiser bike or a high end race bike.
Went in for a bike fit back in May and Cory as expected did a wonderful job. Ordered a bike shortly thereafter and have been waiting since due to the Covid shortage. No issues with how long it was taking as I know that’s totally out of their control. The reason for the poor review is the customer experience. While waiting for the bike I had already partially paid for to arrive, they tried to raise the price. Further emails said they would do it again if they had to. If they won’t honor the price, I had no trust they wouldn’t keep trying raise it later, regardless of the reason why it was raised. In the end I opted cancel the order and take my business elsewhere.
Highly recommend purchasing your next mountain or road bike here. We purchased a mountain bike for my wife and she is very pleased with her Specialized Rockhopper Elite. The gentleman who helped us when we arrived was very thorough and made sure we understood the bike before we took it home. Will be doing future business with this shop in the future.Thank you!
I was able to go on a group ride with some of the employees at Village Bike, and loved it! Right combination of speed, distance, and scenery, and could really tell the guys just love riding and working together. Join them if you can!
Great service, expertise and selection. Store is well-kept and well-organized, which makes it more welcoming to shop and find the things Im looking for.
Our first visit to Village Bike & Fitness exceeded our expectations. The staff was informative and helpful as we shopped for helmets while waiting for a tire We bought two helmets while there and thought the pricing was fair. repair. The tire tech explained what he found and quickly made the repair.
Ive been bringing my bikes here for regular tune ups and maintenance for a few years now. Ive never been disappointed. Very friendly and knowledgeable people who can answer all your bike related question. One of the things that stuck out most to me is when I brought my bike in after I broke a chain. On of the techs saw it and instantly remembered working on it and asked what happened. I highly recommend.
If the staff is friendly and reactive when you show interest and do purchase a bike, sadly I cannot recommend this place for other technical aspects. Not only my new bike has been delivered with a loose rear axle but I havent been impressed by the benefit of their tune-up. I once left a bike more than three weeks to get a quote for a 1x12 conversion. On the long run, they clearly showed me they were not really interested in this kind of business.Giving up and getting my bike back, Ive realized the cassette spacers were wrongly assembled and that has caused on to crack. I had to fix it myself. If you want to purchase a bike and you know what you want, you can go there as they are dealership for Specialised. The fitting service is excellent and I do recommend it. When it comes to maintenance and works on bike not purchased there, you better go somewhere else.
I recently picked up my ebike from Village Bike & Fitness that I ordered. I worked with Denise to order and pick up my bike and the process and service was terrific. She kept me updated throughout the process with where my bike was at. Picking up my bike went smoothly and appreciated the detailed review of all of the features it has. Thanks!
Village Bike Shop on Plainfield Ave. in Grand Rapids has excellent service and an amazing staff! They are knowledgeable, courteous and have the customers best interest in mind. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a quality bike at a reasonable with superb customer service.
Cant say enough about how pleased I am with the service from Cory and rest of the crew at Village Bike & Fitness. I came in desperately seeking a TRI bike fit just before a race. Very poor planning on my part. Not only did they squeeze me in, but when extra time was needed to change out parts, someone from a different Village location agreed to come in on an off day to make it happen because it was my race week! Cory even brought my bike to the other location for me. On race day, while working bike support, Cory even adjusted cleats on my shoes to make sure everything was right.I am super pleased with the results. My best bike split to date and I was finally able to stay in aero for the entire race. The icing on the cake...I placed first in my division! Cory and Village Bike & Fitness played a big part in that. Thank you again. You guys have earned a new customer for sure!
Village Bike & Fitness is a full service bike shop with several locations. We consider ours to be the one on Plainfield. Great staff. Excellent inventory of bikes, bike wear, accessories and great repair shop as well. Today I found the perfect new teal helmet for my Jamis roadie. The Hubs found a second traveling pump for his Tri bike at Time Trials. Score!
When I went to get my bike repaired, I received prompt and professional service. The mechanics did a great job fixing my bike and I was back on the road very quickly.
Always professional, knowledgeable, and going the extra steps for customer service. Great communications through email too when I have questions.
The staff at the Plainfield location is the best! Knowledgeable and friendly and I have been loyal to this location for years buying bikes and having them serviced there.
Outstanding Service.. Had the opportunity for a fitting for my new to me gently used tri-bike. Cory did incredible work at making my bike fit me. Besides getting all the measurements right, he also offered up tips and techniques for better riding form. I look forward to getting my road bike in for a fitting as well.
Love this store and the people who work here! Would highly recommend for all your bike or fitness needs. The bike mechanics here are knowledgeable as well as the sales receptionists. Village bike and fitness also is a great place to purchase bikes because their bike fitters know how to fit you into the best bike for you. Would highly recommend!
Great service and staff for all your bike needs.
Scheduled the bike and got it done two days later and bike is fantastic now
Please read the full review. I am a veteran of the US Army, 23 years of service. Cycling is one of my greatest passions, when I come across unpleasant situations such as this, I cant help but wonder why I served for this kind of treatment? Lack of trust, poor managerial services, lack of professionalism, and shoddy mechanical workmanship. I do not recommend anyone waste their time with this bike shop.I have purchased two bikes from this shop, both seem to need more maintenance than normal, (my observation).I had brought in an older bike not purchased from Village bike shop needing some repairs. A staff member called and left a message a few weeks later that my bike was complete, yet, it had cracks on the back wheel/ rim and there was nothing to be concerned with!!!I called back and spoke with a young man who laughed at me while I was explaining this, frustrated with his response, I spoke with the manager who agreed this should not have happened due to safety.Nearly 400.00 dollars and four weeks later I received my bike back only to find the chain guard which rest behind the spoke on the rear cassette and one of the lock nuts for the valves were not replaced. Also, my new front wheel was not trued and wobbled slightly.I called again and spoke with Denise the store manager; I was to have the bike brought in and fixed that day. It was brought in around 3 p.m. by a friend of mine. My friend was Informed that it would have to be dropped off and it should be done the next day due to staffing concerns.I called Denise and had to raise my voice as she kept talking over me and debating the time frame the bike was brought in. (I was irritated and expressed my concerns in a loud fashion) to demand my bike was promptly cared for today.Denise, the manager proceeded to inform my friend who assisted in transporting my bike, that she was displeased with the way I handled things. As I mentioned previously, I was frustrated and had to raise my voice in order to keep from being spoken over by Denise, no profanity, just loud.I am appalled! Denises concerns are with me, no one else.Succeeding, I received a phone call from Corey who informed that he was the owner? He agreed with my concerns yet did nothing to rectify other than an excuse stemming from the covid virus. When I informed, I would no longer bring my services to this shop he responded that he was sorry to hear of this, nothing else.My bike was returned to me with two of the three of the deficiencies corrected. The front tire is still not trued, instead, Denise relayed it was the tire causing this wobble due to the make of the tires. I find this concerning as I have the same tires, same size etc. on all three of my bikes and no concerns relating.I also have another bike which was purchased here, I had brought it in for initial adjustments, it was noted to have a broken spoke. I was again informed this will take three weeks to fix.In my observation there seems to be too many customers & products and not enough staff to manage this shop with the proper attention to detail that is necessary for a proficient cycling business.Lou
Always very helpful and knowledgeable!
Their service department is amazing.
Excellent Bike Fitting. Encourage this service prior to buying a bike. Knowledgeable, no high pressure sell.
My boyfriend and I had an awesome experience with Peyton here! He said he was in training, but I would’ve never noticed a difference due to his knowledge and great customer service. He went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and help us out. He definitely went the extra mile. We love our new bikes!
We just needed to change the seat on my wifes bike. They had a hard time getting the coupling to fit. Really had to work hard at it. Got it done, were very friendly and all for $4.00. Were kind of new to the area and are thrilled to find a great place for bikes and fitness equipment. Great personnel.
I have purchased 4 different bikes over the years from Village Bike and even though every time I felt I got a good honest deal on the bikes I can NOT say more about their service department going above and beyond again and again..I have had a few different parts go bad and they have managed to get them replaced on warranty more than once and they always have been free with advice and help but I would like to point out most recently I had a tube go bad on a Saturday afternoon an hour before they close and had no practical way to bring the bike in but the Joe the service manager at the 60th and Kalamazoo branch stopped by with a replacement tube and his tools and changed it out for me after hours. There were other circumstances but the fact he was willing to do this on a 90 degree plus day in my sweltering garage should speak volumes to anyone looking for a good deal and a company who stands behind what they sell.
I love this place! Purchased 3 bikes in total from them now. The owner was very accommodating and willing to match sale prices. I am extremely happy. I recommend all day long.
I worked with Cory and Dan, and have nothing to say but great things. Very helpful and accommodating. They had my new Giant bike all set and ready for me with my custom accessories professionally installed and ready to roll!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I love my LIV mountain bike from there. And the people who work there are nice too.
Went in to test-drive treadmills and bought one within the hour. Denise was knowledgeable and arranged delivery by end of day. Josh and Zach were proficient and professional with delivery and set-up. Very good experience. Highly recommend.
I recently purchased a bike from Village. The built right check list was not gone over with me. The bike was not fitted to me (proper seat height, ect) no instructional gear shifting or use of quick release mechanisms, and once the sale was complete, there was not even an offer to help me load the bike in my car.2 days later I returned to the store with the bike in my car and explained to the sales associate that the bike has shifting issues. He asked if I had the bike with me and I explained it was in my car. He said if you want to go get it, we can have the service guy look at it . Again, no offer of assistance to help with the transportation of the bike.I went to my car, got the bike out and brought it inside, no one even opened the door. The service guy worked on my bike and said that the cables had been stretched out and that should have been adjusted when I purchased the bike. I explained that there was no service or checks performed on the bike when I purchased it.He completed the repair and wheeled the bike to me. He asked where I was parked and offered to load the bike for me! At least someones mother raised them correctly. We have purchased several bikes from village over the years and this was not the usual service. However since it happened twice in a row (besides the service associate, who was very kind) Im afraid this is the new version of Village Bike shop service and I am not impressed.
I really appreciate businesses that help their customers even when there isnt immediate revenue to be earned. Village Bike is one of these! I needed a box to ship my custom-built bike back to the builder, and the good folks at Village Bike took a few minutes, during a busy day, to give me one of their used boxes. No charge. I came back a few weeks later to purchase a few needed supplies, and they were again very helpful and friendly. Thanks for the pleasant experiences!!
I had a wheel spoke break at the end of the day on a Saturday right before all the shops close. First thing Monday I had a huge Labor Day ride planned so I was in a scramble to find someone open and willing to fix my wheel. They had me bring my bike in and the mechanic stayed past close to help me out. Thank you Village Bike team on Plainfield!
The store itself is fine. Good selections. Decent pricing. I have had repeated problems with the shop. Wont recommend that. And after buying 3 bikes, having a for test done and spending several thousands there, they still dont know my name. Call me old fashioned but i want my local shop to know who i am when i walk through their doors.
Bought a new Giant mountain bike yesterday. Denise was awesome. I was able to test ride 3 bikes. The 3rd was not on my radar but Denise suggested it. It turned out to be the bike I went with. Very good experience.
Not only do they sell cool bikes, but the staff here is awesome. They are very patient and helpful on the sales floor, knowledgeable and polite in the mechanics area and active in giving back to the community.
Im not from Grand Rapids but was traveling through the area. There bike shop is phenomenal. I was helping a friend with their bike and they fix the flat on the spot. They were very helpful, and they could have sold me things I didnt need but they did not do that. Outstanding service!
Ive worked with other bike shops locally but I keep coming back to these guys because theyre very knowledgeable and helpful. You can get anything from a basic kids bike, all the way to a full-blown race bike and everything in between.
Newbie to the cycling world! Thank you to Cory and the staff at Village Bike & Fitness on Plainfield for taking the time to answer all my questions. If I could offer any advice to others who are new to cycling, go for a bike fitting! This was a very informational and educational experience. Cory knows EVERYTHING there is to know about bikes, cycling, fitting you to a bike, etc. I absolutely love my new GIANT and I know whatever questions or concerns I have along the way the Team at Village Bike will be here to assist.
The villige bike and fitness has some of the best bikes that I have ever been on esay to use. I think that they deserve more than a 5 star review and more a ten.
The staff was outstanding and very personable. I went into this shop with very little knowledge on what needed to be done on the bike I was going to be taking with me to college. Instead of just taking the bike and fixing every little thing that was wrong with it, the very kind woman talked with me about what we absolutely needed to do and cut other things out that werent necessary for a bike I would just use to get around campus. Not only do I now have a working bike, but they saved me, a college kid, a good chunk of money which can go towards my tuition.
“Village Bike & Fitness is my go to bike shop. BROTHER.”-Hulk Hogan6 time WWF Champion, 6 time WCW Heavyweight Champion dude.
Knowledgeable for novice and for experienced rider. They have all equipment and apparel appropriate to riding. Never talk down to you. They have measuring equipment that will pair you with the exact bike.
We spent all afternoon shopping for bikes at various shops. It was obvious at other shops that the staff just wanted to sell you a bike no matter what - every bike was their favorite or the top seller or whatever. The staff at Village actually took the time to help each of us find the bike that was right for us. We were very happy with the selection of bikes and exceptional service.
I recently had insoles built for my ski boots at the Plainfield store with Cory. My feet had been cramping in my boots to a point where I was unable to stand up in them any more. Cory worked with me to create custom insoles for my boots that formed to my feet and supported my unique arch. He worked with me and was able to tweak and adjust the insoles until they fit perfectly. The insoles allow me to control my skis much better than I had ever been able to before. I am extremely satisfied with my experience and the help that I received!
On time service, friendly staff, quality work
Ive used a number of the bike shops in Grand Rapids and dont have negative comments about any of them. Village Bike Shop on Plainfield however stands out to me as one of the most professional and friendly shops in the area. They always greet you right away; theyre always helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ive used them for parts, gear, apparel, and for repair. What prompted me to write a review of is shop was the extra effort that Seth gave in getting me an extra padded liner for my helmet. I told him as I was buying a new helmet (almost just in passing) that it would be nice to have an extra liner for when the original one needed to be washed. I didnt make a big deal about it, but a day or two later Seth sent me an email following up with me. He called the manufacturer of my helmet to ask them about it. Apparently, they don’t package them for sale as a separate accessory, so one was pulled out of production and sent it to the bike shop for me. To me, great service is little things like this.
Im mainly a roadie and gravel rider, relatively new to Grand Rapids, been riding for four years. I ride Specialized, but have visited a handful of shops around GR. This is the best shop and experience Ive ever had at any bike shop. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The team and leadership (e.g. Cory) at Village Bike + Fitness are simply amazing. Ive had nothing but an incredible experience with a road bike fit, custom wheel order, and custom pedal order. Cory goes above and beyond to make sure the customer feels taken care of and getting the product that best suites them. There are obviously a handful of shops across Grand Rapids, but I dont plan on going anywhere else.
Bought a new Specialized mountain bike last weekend and had a great experience. Big thanks to Denise, she was fantastic.
Great service! I bought a used bike at another store and went in to have them adjust the full suspension. They did it for free as well as showing me how to do it myself later. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered every question helpfully.
Village bike and fitness did an amazing job meeting my needs for my spin bike. They are very nice people and truly care about you!
The Sales people seemed very rushed, We just spent over 1k for a bicycle and the sales people (Cory) seemed like it was a real inconvenience to service us and answer questions. This 1k pays their salaries and keeps the shop open. It doesn’t matter if there is 100 people in the parking lot. I think we will spend our money elsewhere next time.
I came in for a repair thinking Id have to wait at least a week. They looked at my bike immediately and spent a good amount of time making sure the everything was done correctly. Always friendly no matter who I deal with. Will be back for sure.
Yesterday was the first time that I had been in Village Bike since before they moved from their location a little further South on Plainfield. I had purchased all of my childhood bikes there and have always thought of it as my fallback bike shop.Yesterday was the last time I will every go to Village Bike.I was working on (and have completed) a low budget single-speed conversion on my 1980 Schwinn World Tour. I went into Village to talk to them about some parts I needed and to hopefully purchase them. I went in with high spirits, hoping to learn some stuff. I shared with the saleswomen that I didnt know that much about bike repair and was learning but was really enjoying the process. She responded by SPEAKING DOWN to me and my friend who was with me. She acted as though this project WASNT WORTH HER TIME TO HELP ME. She was disrespectful and SHE INSULTED both my friend and I and our bikes (which were admittedly inexpensive oldies to begin with). So much for my home friendly neighborhood bike shop. I was headed there to spend my birthday cash, but instead spent it at Freewheeler on West Leonard (which is where Ill be going from here on out.)She called us crazy downtown hipsters, always trying to do this stuff to your bikes cause its trendy. Just so you know Village Bike Shop-- I lived on the Northeast side before you did. I grew up here, not downtown.
I went to Village to get a professional fitting to correct some problems on my bike.I ended up getting a new bike. Corey is very informative and detailed, he explains everything very well. So far so good on my new bike, and if any problems do come up Im confident Village will make it right. The other staff members I dealt with were friendly and helpful.
They employ helpful staff which is good for someone like me who doesnt know much about bikes but trying to learn and make wise purchases. They spent adequate time explaining options help me figure out what makes the most sense for my purposes.
I was recommended by a friend to obtain professional cycle shoe measurements and fit by Cory Bultman at the Plainfield Road Village BicycleStore. I had high expectations based upon the recommendation provided by my friend. They were met.I am able to ride often and for distances of 15 to 40 miles without pain. I pedal with more power and really enjoy cycling again.I had been receiving physical therapy from a Doctor of Physical Therapy for knee related problems. The adjustments made by Cory reduced my discomfort by 90%. I project no further need for physical therapy.I drove 600 miles to obtain the professional assistance of Cory at Village Bicycle. I would make the trip again!
Just got wrapped up today with the purchase of a couple new bikes with my wife. We both got some new Giants, and were both really new to riding. I was really happy with all the help that Corey gave us. He spent a lot of time with us, answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of education. We got setup and I couldnt be happier with how Village took care of us.
BarryI am a 57 year old male that just started bicycling last August. I had my bike set up where I purchased it last August. I put on 450 miles last year before the weather made it difficult I than road my new bike 1 hour per day all winter long on a fluid trainer to prepare for this season. Being new to the sport I had some issues sore knees when I walked, unable to stand up from a seated position and unable to use my drops and generally just not comfortable on my new bike. I assumed since I had my bike set up when and where I purchased it that my problems were my age and arthritis. I also had pain in my feet when I reached 40 plus miles. These problems persisted from August 2012 to July 13, 2013.After talking to Cory I signed up for the fit session on July 13, 2013. I shared my concerns and my goals to start the session. Cory fitted me with a pair of shoes and we started the session. During the session Cory found several fit problems, my handle bars were too wide, seat height very low, the reach was wrong, pedal width too narrow. Cory made the adjustments and replaced the bars. The results were amazing. After 2 days of riding on my new set up my knees stopped hearting, my legs felt more relaxed and my comfort level on the bike improved dramatically. I can now use my drops for extended periods of time as well as moving from a seated position to standing and back with relative ease.My only regret is that I didn’t sign up for the fit session before I purchased my bike. It would have saved me time, money and made my time on the bike more rewarding. I would recommend this Fit Session for anyone new or old that wants to improve their biking experience.
Great experience with them. They came to my house to fix my treadmill and I was very impressed with the level of service and knowledge of the issues at hand. Would call again in a heartbeat. Thanks Seth!
Very friendly staff and very knowlegeable. Have been extremely helpful on issues with my elliptical. Definitely recommend them.
My friend and I were are working on some low $ conversions. We decided to stop by Village Bike because it was nearby and we read good reviews. Neither of us are engineers and we were hoping to ask questions, learn about our projects, and buy the parts we need. We had cash in hand and told the associate we were buying parts. The female associate who assisted us decided it would be a good idea to MOCK us, LAUGH at us, call our equipment CHEAP, call us CRAZY DOWNTOWN HIPSTERS (neither of are look hipster or live downtown). She commented to my friend, you want you ride to look good but you are using THAT frame? insinuating that until we got a higher quality frame we shouldnt bother with their parts. We eventually said, Alright, you realize we are hear to spend money at your store, right? and she quieted down. Still- I couldnt believe someone would demean us like that. Turns out they could order the stuff we wanted (about $350 worth) but had NONE in stock. Michael, the bike tech (who was a FANTASTIC HELP!) suggested we try Freewheeler on Leonard. We did. Freewheeler had everything in stock AND treated us like valued customers. I will not be patronizing Village Bike EVER AGAIN
Went in for what I thought would be an easy fix for a bike chain, I needed one link, one of them broke off my chain. First they needed the chain, so I drove home and came back. A different employee came up to help us, he looked, went to another employee (his boss maybe) and asked him where to look, he looked one more time, and returned with no luck on finding a link. Bums me out, the guy didnt seem like he was interested in helping fix the issue. He just seemed like he wanted to get rid of us because we werent trying to spend a bunch of money in there.
Very friendly and helpful with selecting my new Specialized Roll Sport. Cant wait to pick it up and ride!!
This is the best place for anything cycling related. Very knowledgeable staff, very good service Village is the only place Ill take my bike
The Staff was so helpful
I purchased my first bike, a Specialized Roubaix, about four years ago from Village Bike. Cory worked with me to maximize the fit of the bike. Over the four years of ownership I discovered the aluminum frames ride comfort is not that great. After discussions with Cory on goals for a new bike Cory helped with the fit and design of a new bike. This time around I went with a custom frame from GURU. Although the frame is steel it is actually lighter then my old bike by almost a pound. I cannot say enough about the ride comfort. Riding on the steel frame is like riding in a Cadillac compared to my aluminum framed Roubaix.Corys fit was spot on and met all of my goals for ability to enjoy longer rides with less body fatigue in my shoulders and back. Every detail, right down to the new seat, met my expectations. Thanks for a great job!
Just had a bike fitting session with Cory and it was amazing! Thanks again 👍🏻
They were so helpful, great staff! also showed me what was wrong with my bike and how to fix it. Even took the bike off the car rack.
Quick, friendly service, even right before closing time when I know employees are ready to get out of there! Will definitely return for all my future bicycling needs.
Knowledgeable friendly staff. Great products.
Stopped at the store on Plainfield to have my sons bike get a check-up for safety/repair. Walked into the store and was immediately asked if I could be helped. I explained what I needed and was told that the store was closed (no sign on the door stating that) so they could get ready for their sale event the next day. I asked if I could just drop off the bike since I was already there and was told that she preferred that I didnt. However, another customer arrived prior to me by minutes and dropped their bike off for repair. I take this to mean they prefer not to have my business, which I am happy to comply with. Extremely disappointed as I have taken my bikes there for years. I went up to Speed Merchants from there and they were happy to take the bike for repair and sell me yet another one!
We stopped in for some cleaning supplies, a spare tube and some air in our tires before hopping on the White Pine. They offer to clean our chain for us, which was great.
Thank you for the fast, dependable service. You keep my tri bike running mile after mile, and with friendly smiles!!! Youre the best!
Great selection. Great service
I went in there and the sales manager was extremely rude. I was told it would cost $250 to get fitted for a bike. When I was talking to the sales person the manager came over and pulled him away to go talk to another group of people. While I was standing there for 20 minutes he came back and rudely asked if I needed anything else. Poor service all around and a poor selection of bikes
Best place to buy a bicycle or gear in GR.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Excellent, timely service.
Denise is always so helpful!
First class operation. Jealous of how professionally it is managed.
Great service
I was checking out my bike on a recent Friday night one last time prior to my Tri race Saturday and notice my rear tire sidewall had cracks all over. Made it to your shop and even though it was minutes til close, your guys took care of it right away with a smile. Greatly appretiated!
Terrible customer service. We wont be returning.
Staff was very helpful and kind.
Always a great experience on every trip in
Very friendly and informational. .wont shop any where else..5star service
I got to try some bikes out
Employees are very approachable
