I must point out that the variety and uniqueness of the frames offered for women was very impressive. I could have chosen at least 4 or 5 frames that I really liked (where other places I would be hard pressed to find 1 or 2 frames I really would enjoy wearing).Amy was very personable and efficient and had my insurance options ready for me quickly so that I could make informed decisions.I would recommend this practice to anyone who would like a very thorough and friendly experience. Staff was super knowledgeable and kind, they answered all of the questions I had and even helped me pick out a new pair of frames. This was my first time paying for my glasses since my dad unexpectedly passed last year, thus I had no insurance. I would say the price for the eye care (exam, anti scratch & glare, and blue filter lenses) seemed appropriate, but with the addition with frames, it felt like I paid an arm and a leg. However, I was absolutely blown away when they fitted the frames to my face perfectly! Excellent experience overall!

Special thanks to John of Grandville Optical who worked overtime to make sure that my new glasses were correctly fitted before my wife and I took a trip out West! My glasses worked great and I could see crystal clear!

I can not say enough positive things about Vickie and John!!!! They are great!!! I have a lifetime of eye issues and had over 10 eye surgeries. I almost lost my vision twice and required emergency surgery each time. Needless to say, I have been in many eye doctor offices and have spent hundreds of hours in these offices. That being said, Grandville Optical is the very best, by far, fitter of optical wear I have every experienced. They are experts in outfitting eyewear!!!! At 60 years old, I am seeing the best I have every seen and I am not kidding!!!! I can actually read with both eyes at the same time because the lens they installed allows me for the first time to see and read well with my right eye. They also fit me with cutting edge frames and everyone loves the frames and the look it gives me. At 60, I need all the help I can get!!!! Thanks Vickie and John - I can see clearly now is now one of my favorite songs!!!!!

Everything about my experience here was top notch. Great service from the thorough exam to the glasses I’m now wearing! Vicki did great with helping me select the perfect pair of frames and also helped me make the best choice for the lenses. Everything was explained well. I needed an adjustment to my lenses after they arrived and I wore them for a couple days, and that was taken care of promptly! Matter of fact, John had the new lenses installed in about 10 seconds and I was on my way. No hassle with any of that process.There are many options when it comes to buying glasses. I understand the appeal of two pairs of glasses for $40...or whatever. For me, the attention to detail and the quality of the product is important. Grandville Optical offers both and gained a customer for life.

This is by far the best place I have ever been to for an eye exam. Dr. Jackson was very thorough and also had a follow up appointment with me to make sure that everything was working well. I have never had that with an eye doctor. Also, the people that work there are VERY nice. John and Vicki are very professional and kind people. Both Vicki and John went to great lengths to insure I was ordering the right product. I have specific needs regarding using sun glasses with digital devices in the sun. Older polarizing technologies distorted the screens. They were able to get glasses with digital lenses and a new polarizing process that permits me to use iPads and other digital viewing screens in bright sunlight. Most important, they took the time to explain the details and insure that I understood.

He was even more understanding when I returned the replacement pair because I didn’t like the lens.
