Absolutely disappointed in a simple request that couldnt be followed. I ordered presc sunglasses for my daughter as a surprise gift. I stressed over and over to not call her, call me. Guess who got called when they came in? Told them they could keep their sunglasses and Im stuck without a present.

Top class customer service with a wide selection of frames and onsite eye exams. They take almost all vision insurance and will work with you individually on pricing. Received my glasses in less than two days and couldnt be happier.Tip: The lens cleaning kits are the best!

If youre middle-aged or older I would choose someplace elsewhere. The doctor was great, but the office assistants lack professionalism and respect. I recently had a class for contact lenses and after the office assistant continued to laugh profusely at my attempts to put the lenses in I finally had enough and told her I was done. Needless to say it was a waste of time and money. I have no doubt that I could have managed to put them in under different circumstances.

After some very significant changes to my eyes in the last year, the office worked with me for nearly 2 months to find contacts that would be comfortable and help with the issues I was having. I finally settled just before quarantine with contacts that would do. Just after quarantine was lifted I started having issues with my contacts and needed to add glasses to my profile. The office was super helpful getting me the information I needed. I just recently called to check on re order for my contacts and will need to wait a month or so for insurance to refresh so told Kelly that I would make do until then. I am so very impressed and grateful to have just received a call from the office letting me know that they didnt want me to struggle thru the next 2 months and they are going to tide me over with a pair of contacts. Thank you so much for doing this. I was so nervous about entering the winter months and snow glare with old contacts. Thank you for going above and beyond.

Dr. Brown is very professional. The staff helped me pick the right kind of glasses that fit my face the best. Highly recommend.

Set up an appointment a couple weeks back for Thursday at 3:20 for an eye exam at the Grandville RX Optical. Leave work early, drive across town, and get there at 3:20 and call the number on the door. Tell assistant Im here for a 3:20 appointment. Tom? Yup, thats me. Ill meet you at the door and take your temperature. Get let inside and am asked to take a seat ...the doctor will be with you shortly... 45 minutes later, they wake me up. Were sorry, but the doctor isnt seeing patients any more today, can we re-schedule in a month?RX Optical used to be smooth sailing, but the last few years it has gone downhill: miss-billings to insurance, wrong frames delivered, told to go to locations other than Grandville to pick up glasses, etc... Add in a broken appointment and its safe to say RX Optical has jumped the shark.

Leaving to Mexico tomorrow and having to choose between being able to see and being blinded by the sun or wearing sunglasses but not being able to see, was tough. Luckily they were able to see me and provide me with contacts to get by. Rose, is one of the best too, she is so nice, and helpful!

I love the ophthalmologist. She was outstanding. I had an issue with my glasses after a few days of wearing them. My peripheral vision showed a blue hue. I brought them in to have them check it out.The Optician waiting on me, seemed to think I wasnt being truthful. She was rude and condescending. I ended up asking for my prescription so I could go elsewhere. They refunded the cost of my glasses on January 24, which is the day I came in. February 3, my insurance company still hasnt received their refund. I have now made three phone calls to my insurance company and RX Optical.Today, RX Optical said I need to call their corporate office, which I did. I am patiently waiting. I have already purchased a new set of glasses from another company but I cant process this through my insurance company because there is an open claim. Not impressed by this office.

Our family has been coming here for years after our family eye doctor sold his practice. We always receive excellent customer service, they offer great flexibility for scheduling, and do their best to accommodate last minute needs. Turnaround time for product is quick and the store offers a large frame selection. We stopped in this weekend to spend some last minute flex dollars and were impressed with Rose’s suggestions - the perfect frames for all of us! Love her outside the box thinking, eye for style, and most of all, her ability to convince both my husband and me to try something new!

I came in to see if I could buy longer stems for my sunglasses because they just werent fitting on my head the correct way. When I spoke with the ophthalmologist, she suggested that she just warm them up a little bit and straighten the stem out so that it would fit around my ear. She came back a few minutes later with my sunglasses that fit perfectly now and when I offered to pay for her service she refused and thanked me for coming in. What an awesome experience. I will definitely be considering Rx Optical in the future for eyeglass purchases.

I could not wear a pair of glasses I bought several months ago they just didnt seem right. I brought them back to see if something could be done. Rose was able to adjust the progressive lens perfectly! Im very pleased with the service and problem solving ability of Rose at this office. Thank you!

The ophthalmologist at this location was able to recommend a new type of lens called BlueTech that has really helped me in my everyday life. The staff there did a great job helping me pick out and deciding what frames to go with. I recommend this place to anyone in need of glasses. Great service and great people.

I went in to get a printed prescription for reading glasses with contacts. I was given a printout for distance. I told the person that it was for distance, I needed the script for reading with contacts. They printed one out. Unfortunately, I found out it was the wrong script after having the glasses made (reading without contacts). Being thorough is necessary for scripts to be correct.

Such a great and thorough exam and Dr. Brown was so attentive and answered all my questions. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

How long is it really appropriate to keep people waiting to check out?

I went there with cash in my pocket to update frames purchased online with prescription lenses. The optician I encountered was rude, impersonal, inattentive. She didnt seem to have to the time to really give an opinion on the frames or heat/fit them correctly. Bye, Felicia (not her name). I will spend my $3-400 on progressive lenses elsewhere for sure. Kind service and attention could have easily resulted in a sale.
