I like the people there, they give very good service. I only gave them a 4 because of the erratic hours they are open. They dont always update it on their sight so you show up and they are closed for the day sayingsorry for the inconvenience It IS VERY inconvenient.

I have been going the past years to different optical centers and this one has been by far the best! The staff is so friendly and helpful. You feel really welcomed and secure that you are receiving the best care. I am going to keep coming here for sure

If you plan to get a prescription and buy contacts or glasses online, this place does everything in their power to prevent that (worse than other places). The follow up exam for a contact fitting is unnecessary and out of the ordinary. Normally, you’ll get an evaluation and receive your prescription, but here they will draw out the process and force you to have a second evaluation even if the initial fitting was enough. If you miss this follow up they will try to charge you for the entire process again. No other place is this difficult. The staff were rude over the phone, and their process and policy is horrendous and not helpful for anyone just trying to see. Seek elsewhere.

Don’t go to svs they lie and will take forever to get your glasses rude on the phone and don’t care. They use covid as an excuse to lie about how long it’s taking to receive your glasses don’t go there you will be sorry

Horrible experience. Rude staff, all they care about is money. Will never go back. Advise you look for another place to go. They do not care about you or your eyes.

The only thing that was fantastic was that the door was open during my exam. I just thought that was strange. Other than that the staff, location, and selection was fantastic.

Been here a couple years now. Nancy helps us with care and consideration. Today she was on vacation. Jessica stepped in to explain to the loaner person how my spouse needs my assistance even though he doesnt look like it. She made sure the distance restrictions did not get in the way of taking care of him properly.Kudos to Jessica for handling a tricky situation in exactly the right way. We appreciate her!

Incomepetent, inept, noncommunicative, and incapable

Not only did they swap out my frames, which came very slightly damaged, they completely redid my sunglasses after I realized the frames were too small.

Care was exceptional. Would give 5 out of 5 stars if they were easier to get ahold of by phone. Very difficult to get ahold of outside of the office.

I have had such a great experience at this location from the first time I went. I originally stopped in to have them adjust my glasses (it was closer to my home than my other location). While the lady I was speaking with adjusted my glasses, she noticed they were too big for me. She replaced them free of charge. She also noticed that my daughters were not correctly fitted (because of the bridge of her nose). She replaced those for free as well. This is now our home location!

My company provides for prescription safety glasses through SVS Vision. The selection, ordering and payment wasnt that bad of an experience (my exam was done elsewhere). However, as far as I can tell, they never notified me the glasses were ready for pickup. They provided a date that I was notified but my phone showed no call record from them and I never got a voicemail. Mistakes happen, but it was still 20 days the glasses sat there. One would think they would go through their orders and provide another call. Who knows what happened. They did verbally apologize.

It was a great experience. My doctor was very through and the person helping me to decide on which pair of glasses I wanted was very through and considerate . She allowed me all the time I needed to decide.

I had services done back in December. When the reviews were low, so some how they magically jumped up within the last few months. At the time I went, ratings for this store were about 3 stars. I read some pretty bad reviews but decided to go to this location anyways, 35 minutes away from my home. Its in Grandville at a good, busy area location, it cant be that bad, right? Ha. I went 2 years prior to another SVS Vision in Kentwood, I should of learned then.I dont have time or the energy to go through the reasons why I will not be returning to any SVS nor would I recommend SVS, to anyone, ever. Bottom line I was without glasses for ever 2 weeks(whole ordeal took just over 1 month to correct), cooperate offices even attempted to contact me to rectify, to which I did not answer or respond. Learned my lesson this time around. Will be spending my money at a better qulified and quality company.
