Went in there to get my iphone 6s fixed put a dim faulty screen on first, then put another screen on and now my phone glitches and taps a bunch of stuff i don’t recommend getting your phone fixed here.

These people are amazing. Brandon and Laura were so helpful. They were very patient with me since I know little about technology. My computer is now running like new. Got phone fixed here multiple times and every time there was something that went wrong and broke the phones function-ability even more, recently got the same phone they previously fixed at genius instead and they fixed it 10 times better and faster and told us whoever previously worked on it stripped a screw that was negatively impacting how the phone worked. extremely disappointed will never be returning.

I purchased a printer at Best Buy about a year ago. So, when I had a paper jam that I could not fix myself, I took it into BB thinking they could help me. The representative said they do not work on printers. I asked for any options of where to take my item and they suggested Device Pitstop. I walked right in and told the lady behind the counter my problems. She fixed it on the spot without pushing me off to another provider. I will definitely revisit their store if I have any further repairs.

I wouldn’t give any stars if that was an option. I had an iPad repaired by them when I initially brought my device to them they stated it was only the glass, and they were able to make the repair. After picking the device up and bringing it home I noticed the LCD just stopped working. I returned the device as soon as the store was open after the holiday only to have the owner of the store tell me the device needed another repair. When I brought the iPad to them the only thing wrong with it was the glass was shattered, it was still usable with the broken screen. After they worked on it the LCD coincidentally stopped working. They claim no responsibility for breaking my device and only refunded my money after taking the screen off, so now I have a non working device with no screen. I wouldn’t recommend them at all even if they’re cheaper they’re cheaper for a reason. I’d recommend ubreakifix over device pitstop any day. I am visiting from Chicago and 2 hours before leaving my iPhone got stuck in a update mode. We tried for about an hour to fix it but nothing worked. We decided to try Device Pit Stop in Rivertown Center, Grandville Mi and they couldn’t of been more helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Laura and the other associate had a couple resolutions to try and it literally was fixed in minutes. I was relieved knowing I would have a phone for any emergency should it come up while driving back to Chicago. Thank you Laura so much for putting me at ease and offering such Great Customer Service! Update: Another great experience at Device Pitstop. I recently purchased a HP Pavilion laptop at a big discount from new. It was worth paying extra for the Solid State Drive. My laptop is super fast now. Jake was a really good at explaining to me its features and also steered me away from buying a computer that didnt actually suit my needs. Everybody at the store is very knowledgeable and also very good at teaching the customers the technology without being too nerdy about it to where we dont understand what theyre talkin about! I would definitely be back when Im looking for a deal on a monitor keyboard and mouse to complete my work station.I had a great experience at device Pitstop. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Especially because I brought to them an unusual request. They fixed a key fob for me that ordinarily would have been a $500 replacement at the dealership. Good people and very knowledgeable in their field. I will definitely go back to them.

I wish it was possible to give a 0 rating, because I would. I also wish I had read the reviews before I had given them my business. I had a screen replaced on my phone June 20th. They talked me into the tempered glass for an extra $15. I thought it would be beneficial to my phone. I had a few minor issues for the next few weeks, but nothing too crazy. I figured technology isnt perfect. This week my phone really started to have issues with jumping screens and not acting right. I brought it in and got the cold shoulder. With out even bothering to look at my phone Brandon told me I needed another new screen. He said, this happens all the time. Not what I wanted to hear. He made no attempt to help me. I waited until the next day and met the owner, Laura. She was an even bigger disappointment. No help whatsoever. There is no way I will pay another $80 to them or any amount ever. She didnt even try to keep a customer, and wont. I then went to Verizon where they told me the problem was the faulty installation of my tempered glass. He took it off for free and my phone is fine. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $ HERE! People, read the reviews. Many are terrible and the owner doesnt respond. These people need lessons in repairs as well as customer service. Totally disappointed!! A friend recommended U Break it, I Fix it. It is in Wyoming. If I have a need again I will go there. Never here again!

I wish I could review this place well BUT I contacted them by my favorite means of communication: email. Using the email address displayed on their website, I emailed them twice last week. NO REPLY at all! A tip to Device Pitstop Phone Repair: IF an email address is listed in your website, you best assign someone to watch that address! If not, remove it and leave only the phone number. They have now lost my business, plus I was thinking of looking at a laptop too! I have a friend on the West Coast who replies to my emails, and does work as you wait!! Hes that quick and reliable!! Ill visit him instead!!

Its nice having a fixed iPhone screen, but part of my phone isnt responding to touch and Ive noticed it getting worse. There are also spots on the sides where its lighter. You can fairly notice it, but what its a dark screen its very visible. Also when my screen is covered it turns black and it never used to do that? Otherwise great customer service

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this place. I repeat do not ever bring your merchandise here if you value your phone. I brought my iPhone XS Max, which was only a month old, here at the end of June. The glass over the camera was broken. They said they’d order the part. They never called when in came in so I stopped in over the weekend of the 4th of July. The manger was gone, but a younger guy helped me. He said the part was in and it would take him one hour to replace. So I left... came back to find out that they ordered the wrong part. OK no big deal right? WRONG!!! He took the glass off my camera and broke it worse. When he realized it was the wrong part he the GLUED the broken glass back on. Leaving a HUGE fricken finger print on my camera!!! Told me he would order me the correct part and handed me back my phone. It was a mess!! To say I was upset is an understatement. To make a long story short... I gave them a chance to call me back and fix things but never got that call. This place is the absolute worse. I paid a professional to fix what they screwed up. My camera now has a white spot next to the lenses where this kid uses a hot glue gun to replace my broken glass. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. I have contacted a lawyer and will be seeking damages on my $1000 phone. Thank goodness I took before and after pictures.

Very disappointing. I saw good reviews online and recommended device pit stop to a friend. He got his phone fixed there and when he got home he noticed a small lighter mark at the bottom of his screen. After using the screen for a few minutes the screen went crazy and died. I felt bad, because I recommended this place to him. Fortunately he was able to bring it back and get it fixed, gut there was still a discolored spot at the top of the screen.

Have been to Device Pitstop three times now over several months. Each time they have been able to assist with issues Ive experienced at reasonable to no cost. Ill be back.

Literally the worst place I have ever been to in my life the people in there have no clue what’s going on and my Xbox was supposed to be done in 1 week at most and here we are in week 2 and 2 days and nothing. All I get when I ask is that it’s next on the list of things to be done. Well that was a week ago I was told that I’m done with this place. AWFUL

I broke my I phone 6 plus screen on a Friday night! I called genius phone repair and they said bring I in and try could fix it so I brought it there and it was gonna cost $160 and it was gonna take five hours so thinking that was my only option I left it there and my wife and I decided to get breakfast well as we were going o get breakfast we drove by device pit stop and decided to stop in there and check it out needless to say it was almost half the price and it would only take 1 HR so I went and got my phone back from genius and brought it to device pit stop! I would giv them 100 stars if I could Jared and Paul did an outstanding job an had it done in less than an hr they will have my business from now on and genius is a rip off!! Brought my phone in to fix a small crack on my screen, when it was finished they had broken the home button. Went to fix the home button but they broke my entire phone and then proceeded to give me a completely different phone and it won’t let me in the phone for 46 days. Then they made me pay $100 for them breaking my phone. They absolutely suck

Went to fix galaxy s7 microphone. They cracked the screen. They replaced the screen and the screen didnt work and wouldnt charge. Fixed it again and then the receiver didnt work. They offered to replace the s7 with another s7 that was scratched and not equivalent. Took us about 8 trips and issue isnt resolved. Cant say we trust the quality of work. Not very willing to work with options when they have messed up multiple times. Wouldnt recommend

I brought a device in to sell, they requested my drivers license to get the paperwork started. The young man took my license to the next counter to write up information and never gave it back to me. By the time I realized that i didnt get my license back it was 7:55pm and I was all the way across town. I called and told them I would try to pick it up the next day. I was unable to get out to Grandville the next day so I called and asked them to put it in an envelope and mail it to me. They said they could do that that. Instead of the owner or manager taking care of this they let an employee bring it to the mailbox and drop it in...no envelope, just dropped it in. It has been approximately 5 weeks and I still do not have my licences back. The post office said IF it was really dropped in the mailbox that it could take a while to get back and it would be delivered postage due of about $3.00. What should have been taken care of with a .50 cent stamp and at most two days will now cost me at the very least $3.00 postage or $45 for a new enhanced license. I just want my license back!!!

Their prices were okay, but the technicians seemed incompetent. We brought in an iphone with a broken touchscreen. We got the touchscreen fixed, but they messed up the battery and the phone kept turning off, not holding a charge, etc. They claimed the phone was already like that but it was not. They gave us a full refund but wasted our whole day going in and out of here.

Took 2 iPhones here, and both have already cracked 2 weeks in. They use horrible glass and one of my iPhones touch is not working right. They refuse to fix it because it had a scratch on the screen. It never worked right when we got it. Do not go here, horrible business.

YES, FREE!!!How nice to have honest people to deal with wh dont try to scare you into some hi tech purchase or repair thats not needed. I went there to replaced screen. I noticed it was glitch on the edge of screen so I went back next day, they replaced my screen againStill glitching so went back there again but I was told there was nothing they can do so I need to talk to manager and when to come back.Ok I went back the day I was told to come back to talk to manager but manager wasnt there...I went back there at LEAST 5 times.Finally I got to talk to manager and she was really nice, replaced my screen for 3 times but still not working right so I went there again for i dont know how many times.Every time They replaced my screen it got worse and worst so I asked one of gentleman to refound my money Because I really got tired go back there and my phone got worse every time they replaced. The gentleman told me they need to replace my old screen which my cracked one to get my money back thats the only option so I told him thats ok with me ( I rather have cracked screen than not working phone) ok, I went there to pick up my phone and when I looked at it I was like ?????????Because what they replaced was lot worst than my original screen so I asked this gentleman this is not my old screen, I thought you said you gonna replace MY old screen??And his response was your old screen got thrown away theres noway we can replace woth your old one this is the best screen we have seriously???I should never bring in a first place....
