Our experience with Carpets by Direct was wonderful! We absolutely love the laminate we picked out..it goes really well with all the colors in the house and even more pleased that we decided to do the whole house. The guys worked really hard and finished the entire house in 2 days. These guys immediately thought that I was working on a budget (which I previously never stated to them I was). They began to show me the cheapest items in the store that looked to be very bad quality. With that aside, once I told them price is not a problem, customer service became exceptional. But after I didnt see anything I liked, I felt rushed out of the store. Im giving this review a the stars because they do have a good selection of carpets from 50 cents per square foot up to as high as $4.99 or square foot I do think that they should work on their customer service though.

We had an outstanding experience from start to finish with Carpets by Direct in Greensboro. Our neighbors did lots of research when they were looking for new flooring and highly recommended Carpets by Direct. We went to the showroom and met with Greg. He showed us many options - specifically for large dog traffic - and we easily found both laminate tile and carpet that we loved. He then scheduled a time, which he made sure would fit our work schedule, to come out to our house and take measurements. He was able to provide a very reasonable quote and set a date for installation, which was only a few weeks out. The contractors that did the installation arrived early, were extremely professional, courteous and experienced. We had the kitchen and living room done and both were finished in the same day. John listened to my needs and used his expertise and knowledge, to provide the perfect carpet for my family. Luna (the installer) and his other crewman were awesome. They did quality work and the carpet looks great. I also appreciated the way that they cleaned up behind themselves. I would definitely go back to Carpets by Direct, for my flooring needs; and I would definitely want Luna as my installer.

We had water damage in a large classroom (1200SF) and getting new floors put back in a hurry was essential. Greg got it done in ONE DAY. Juan and Daniel arrived and had our damaged floor up in less than 30 minutes and reinstalled new floors by the end of the day. As a professional massage therapy business, noise could certainly be an issue. Not once did anybody notice they were even working in the building. Greg has taken care of us for many years, with many different projects, and will continue to take care of us forever.

Carpet by Direct did a wonderful job! I got the 3 room special for $1299. But because my house had 1500 sq ft of carpet, I had to pay a little more but much less than Empire Today. Greg was very easy work with and understood my situation as I was in the process of selling my house. The workers showed up ahead of schedule, very friendly, and restored my house back to its original condition once the job was complete. I am very pleased with their work!

We are very satisfied with our new engineered floors. We were told it would take 3 days but it only took two days. The guys did have to come back to fill in some nail holes for the molding and there were a few dings in the new floor but they patched those up too and you cant even tell there was ever a problem. We absolutely recommend Carpets by Direct to everyone. Greg was especially helpful. I had to call him a few times and he was always so kind and never hesitated to help us out.

I was asked by the salesperson to write a review almost immediately after I had luxury vinyl planks installed because they would receive a pizza party if they had enough reviews. I decided to wait a couple of months to write a review so that it I could truly evaluate the product and this company. I would not recommend either.The shoe molding looks cheap, especially around the corners. The floor itself is impossible to keep clean, even when I use the product they sell in their store.I was hesitant to work with this company because the sales person was curt when I asked questions and pushy throughout the process. My mother was also going to buy new flooring from this company but was treated rudely, and ultimately decided to purchase flooring from a local competitor.I must say the installation itself was great. The installers were efficient, arrived early, and were courteous.

This will be the second install . Both times we have felt slighted . This last time we purchased $8000 dollar Cashmere by Shaw/ Mohawk and there are seams that show, it looks like the carpet is in pieces which it is, and boy is it obvious !! We have pieces that constantly look like something has snagged on it . I e had them come to my home 3 times and nothing is right . I had to remove my own. Ails from my stairs . Took me 3 hours ! And I actually paid CASH ! Still waiting for satisfaction

I visited Carpets By Direct after walking out of the Home Depot on Wendover for poor customer service, and I was absolutely blown away by the level of service that I received here. I was immediately greeted by Greg, who was very knowledgeable and professional. He quickly assisted me and scheduled to have new carpet installed for me that following Tuesday. His team installed on Tuesday and did a fabulous job. I am extremely pleased with the price, product and most of all the service! I highly recommend Carpets By Direct.

Called another company first and they said it would be 3 weeks just to come for a measurement. Talked to Greg at Carpets by Direct on a Thursday and he said he could come out Saturday morning. After the measurements were done, he opened the store early for us to choose our carpet. The carpet was installed a few days later. The installers were friendly and very efficient. I am extremely happy with the results.

This is a fantastic company to work with. Greg was our sales rep and he was so responsive, honest and helpful. I was very apprehensive about installing the new hardwood and even more about the sanding and staining process of our existing hardwoods.The Carpets by Direct install team was fantastic. They were on time, respectful and finished a big job for us right on schedule (even through a snowstorm). At the end of the install, we couldnt believe how beautiful our floors looked and how limited the dust was in our house. Virtually nothing. The install team self contained the mess and covered our pantry and kitchen cabinets with plastic to protect them.I have spent the last 3 days admiring our beautiful hardwoods and now Im returning to Greg to purchase a new carpet runner for my stairs. I can only speak from my experience and I have to say I am beyond pleased with the customer service I received from Greg when I stepped foot into the building. He was very patient, honest and worked with my indecisiveness until I decided on what hardwood floors I liked best. Now when it came to Ulises and his crew installing the floors, all I can say isAWESOME! These guys are extremely hard workers, very professional and did an TERRIFIC job with installing the hardwood floors, during the entire process they kept things very neat and organized. The job was done so professional and the floors look great, Im now debating on doing the upstairs. I cant speak for the longevity of the floors because I just had the job done. Recently we decided to have our old carpet and vinyl flooring replaced with hardwood. After getting a quote from Empire, we decided to call Carpets by Direct as they claim to meet or beat any quote. Greg Hardy immediately came out that day, with samples, and gave us an estimate that was less than that of Empire. It actually allowed us to do our hallway, in addition to the other rooms. To say that we are happy with our decision is an understatement. The work was completed on time, as promised, and looks better than we could have imagined. Our house looks better now than it did 18 years ago when it was brand new. Special thanks to the installation crew of Ulises, Francisco, and Pedro. We are ecstatic with our new floors. Greg and his installers are as knowledgeable as they come. We had carpet removed and new hardwoods put in. They then came in and sanded, stained and refinished all the floors. We can tell where the old floors ended and the new ones started. You want to talk about a well oiled machine, these guys were on time everyday and the install to the refinishing was seamless. One group left and the next group was right on their heels to finish up. If you are in the market for new floors there isnt a better option.Thank you Greg we are enjoying the floors.

Carpets Direct is an excellent company to buy from. We had some carpets installed in our business and a few months later we had some molding strips come up and a few of the seams came apart. I called them back and the store manager John came out and replaced both rooms at no cost. We were very pleased with the work they did. In todays world its hard to find such loyal companies that stand by their products, so I commend this company for doing so. Thank you John!

POOR QUALITY! We purchased carpet for our new home from Carpets by Direct, in August of 2015. We chose to go with the top quality carpet, after being told that it was worth the cost because it was made of higher quality fibers, had stain guard, would not show traffic wear, etc. At the time of installation, we were completely happy with the work crew, their installation, and the beautiful carpet. But within 6 months, the carpet was noticeably discolored, worn and matted down, no longer soft. Any areas of regular traffic are excessively worn, packed down and no longer soft, and in just three years, we have shampooed this carpet no less than FOUR times, only to find that the dingy look will NOT wash out. We have just purchased a rug to COVER the thousands of dollars of carpet that we purchased from Carpets by Direct.

We decided to update the flooring in our house by replacing the carpet with laminate floors in the living areas and bedrooms and putting new linoleum in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. After getting estimates for from multiple sources, the decision to go with Carpets By Direct was a no brainer. The prices were competitive and the quality of the products could not be beat. Greg provided outstanding customer service and even allowed us to take samples home so we could view the flooring in multiple rooms and lighting circumstances. He shared the option of paying for part of the service and financing the rest interest free for a year, which we did. When it came to the install, Juan and Daniel were courteous, professional, and hard working. They came early and worked late each day. Although we were given an 3 day service window, they were able to complete the job in just 2 days. We are very satisfied with our experience and have already recommended Carpets By Direct to friends and family.
