I called numerous times to get a part for my boat and didn’t really get any information except to email the parts department and I had general questions about the issue with my motor for the part to even see if it would work and never could get an answer really. It’s very inconvenient just to email about a part when you don’t really know if it will work or not. Got the part I needed just a few inconveniences.

FANTASTIC customer service. Rhonda spent some time to listen to my problem, and offered several solutions. Simply and incredibly nice person, seems to really care about her customers. Ive used European Marine twice and both times have been really, really great experiences.

A true 5+ star dealership, service thats above and beyond what other service centers claim. Cant say enough about the folks at European Marine, Don Weed is a Mercury Master Technician that provides the best possible service anyone could ask for, he honest and a great wealth of knowledge. If you need service on your boat/motor, take the time or the extra drive to have it repaired right the first time at European Marine, a highly trustworthy source for your marine needs and a dealer/service center that stands behind what they do, Im a customer of Dons and live in OH., European Marine is in S.C., what does that tell you about their service.

Ive owned too many boats to count. Sadly, like all boat owners know, boats are sometimes not your friend. I have had boats serviced in 5 different states, and one thing that is consistent about every other place is I never really thought they gave a crap about when I was going to be able to get on the water as long as they got their money. This is the only service place that I have been to regarding a boat that they cared about when I could use my toys again & had a completely consultative approach to their business. This isnt a 2 Chucks & a Truck cheap place to get your boat fixed, so if youre looking for a deal to get your boat fixed for a hundred bucks so you can bring it back after it breaks again go ahead & do that. If you really want your engine looked at thoroughly & explained the diagnostics and what they mean you are doing right or wrong with your boat take it here. I was impressed with the fact that the actual were so thorough about proving the ownership of the motor & the warranty credentials as well. Normal Chuck & Truck places really could care less as long as their check clears. Kudos guys, keep up the good work. However, I hope to never see you again LOL...just kidding. Next year maybe for routine maintenance.

I have found that in dealing with boats it is hard to find a knowledgeable, honest and dependable mechanic. Don at European Marine is all three. I purchased a boat last summer and after having some engine troubles on my first outing I brought it to European Marine to get checked out. After thoroughly going through and testing the engine Don unfortunately had to give me the bad news that the engine would need to be rebuilt. Having some mechanical knowledge I decided to take on the project of re-powering the boat myself using a used engine. Dons advise during my project has been invaluable, whenever I called or emailed with a problem Don took the time to listen and had a quick solution. After the new engine was installed I brought it back to European Marine for Don to check out and to install the stern drive, change the water pump and to winterize it. Don found a few issues with the engine that he documented for me, fixed a few of my mistakes and did some troubleshooting and tuning as the engine wasnt wanting to run for more than a few seconds. The boat is now up and running and ready for Spring. Thanks Don and Rhonda for the top notch service.

I got tired of all the Mercury Dealers in the Atlanta area that just did not have enough expertise to diagnose, let alone FIX problems. I was referred to European Marine in Greenville, SC. I am now a loyal customer. FINALLY AN HONEST MECHANIC THAT KNOWS HIS STUFF!!!

Would give a xero if I could. Had an appointment. Was looking for a Mercury certified repair shop. Do not live any where near Greenville. Took a 2009, 50 hpr Mercury in with less than 6 hours on it for diagnostic/service. Was told it would be about $300. Would not do anything over $15 or so more without notification. Did not hear anything for about 6 weeks. Husband called, was told they were waiting on some gaskets to come in but no mention of additional charge. Expected there would be a small charge for gaskets. Again, did not hear back from anyone for a while. Called back again was told gaskets had been installed and bill was now $485; however thoughts were now that it would probably require another &1,200 maybe more work. Hard to understand as that was a family owned boat that just had not been used for a while due to illness and death. Had owned boats for many years. Was not expecting to hear that news. Decided to just pick up the boat and take it somewhere else. All I will say is that was a good choice.
