I took my 10 year old daughter here for her first eye appointment. She was nervous and not happy about the idea of needing glasses. The staff was incredibly nice and caring and did a great job making her feel comfortable. They explained all the tests to her and helped her feel less apprehensive about doing them. Dr. Beyer was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and helped both me and my daughter understand her eye exam results. Staff then helped my daughter pick out her frames. At the end of the visit, she left excited to get her new glasses. Thank you to everyone at Big Sky Eye Care for making our visit the very best!

Dr Buyer was so sincere and caring as he described all that was happening with my eyes which by the way no one has ever done. The front desk ladies were friendly and very helpful and the young lady who fitted me for glasses took her time to help me find the perfect set of glasses. This was my the best eye exam in my lifetime. My first one was at age 10. That was 55 years ago.The staff is wonderful. Dr. Wilkins is a delight.I was on cloud 9 for days because I am so looking forward to my new glasses. I told everyone I know about Big Sky Eye Care.

Dr. Wilkins and his staff are great. The front desk is always friendly and give a warm welcome. I was recently in a traumatic car accident and had a scheduling conflict. The office was very accommodating, to still allowing to visit me, that day. I make the drive from Missoula, to receive care from Dr. Wilkins exclusively. (95 miles round trip) Today, I worked with Shania and expressed what style of frame I needed, based on working in dentistry and having to clip a shield to my frames along with the weight. I can’t touch my glasses, to move them up on the bridge of my nose, when they slip and I have sterile gloves on. (I use my glasses as eye protection, as well.) Shania was so nice and understanding. She made me feel extremely comfortable, as not as though I was being difficult. She nailed it! I ordered the perfect frame, per her recommendation and immediately fell in love with the glasses. This office is terrific and I highly recommend!!!!!!

I am 80 years old and have been flying airplanes, military and civilian since I was 20. That means I have been getting eye exams every year for 60 years ! Wow. My exam with Dr. BEYER was the best in all those years. He is good, and he’s a pilot !!

I felt well taken care of. Its nice to see how my eyes change from year to year and have the Dr explain what each test is for and what the test says about my eye health.

There is hardly any wait time. The technicians are knowledgeable and keep everything sanitary. Dr. Wilkins never acts rushed and takes good care of you. The staff is super helpful at picking out frames that are just right for you.

I really like Dr. Wilkins. He is caring, smart and has helped me with eye problems and knew exactly what to do. He is awesome!

The exam was professional and first rate. Dirk was patient and explained in detail the results of tests. The billing department however is another matter. After several phone calls, two personal visits and assurances from staff that insurance billing was going to be taken care correctly, in frustration I ended up paying the balance myself and dealt with my insurance directly. This a remedial process that I was able to take care of with minimal effort and Big Sky staff could not.

I have been consistently impressed with the care, thoroughness, and connection I experience with Dr. Beyer and his staff. Always the most current technological advances to serve my eye health and calm, kind, attentive office folks. Highly recommend. You get your moneys worth.

Dr. Beyer and his staff have the most complete service I have experienced anywhere. Their exams are thorough . . . more eye machines than anywhere I have previously experienced. Dr. Beyer found several areas of concern in my eye, concerns that had not been found by ophthalmologists in Missoula. He has given me a phone number so if on the weekend I have eye difficulty, I am to call him. I am so grateful that Dr. Meyer was recommended to me by a neighbor. You will not find a more knowledgeable or caring doctor in this part of Montana.

This office has ALWAYS been safety conscious by wiping down all equipment with ethanol in front of the patient before and after use. It gave me the confidence that Big Sky Eye Care was a safe place to go during this pandemic. They honored my wishes of wearing a mask during my visit.For eye care, they always compare my previous scans to current scans so I can see my eye health and if there are any changes developing or areas of concern. I appreciate that very much!

Lost my glasses in the river on Saturday and in their chair Monday. Couldnt have been more pleased! Very through exam, everyone was courteous, kind and professional, from the lady who answered my call to the lady who performed the fitting. All treated me as if I was the only patient in the building but they were very busy. The doctor was very informative and spent a good bit of time with me. Great experience!

I called mid morning on a Monday with a swollen eye issue.. they brought me in that afternoon to see Dr. Beyers. The problem is being solved via some meds and good advice. The business is top knotch well kept and inviting the ambiance is perfect for the setting. The staff will greet you immediately and get you set up at a rather quick pace.... Waiting room and Dr. Waiting room are as expected magazines art on the walls. Its clean and comfortable.the staff I met were amazing very polite, empathetic in an open way. Dr. Beyers himself was awesome I felt safe and confident in his diagnosis. I hope not need an opthalmologist in the future but if I do this is where Ill come back...

I have been fighting a problem with my eyes being red for years. Someone told me to go to Big sky eye so I did. I was imediatly impressed with all the eye equipment they have and how thorough they are. And finally my eyes are much better. I cant quit looking at myself in the mirror because for years they have been blood shot. The staff is very friendly. I would say if u havent ever been there try it once I Ill guarantee u will come back. I dont know how many eye drs I have went to over this and they coukdnt figure out the problem

Always a great experience with the friendly and well trained staff. Phenomenal technology. Appointment times were perfectly spaced out to avoid more than a couple visitors in at a time, with little wait. It’s always very clean, and all the equipment is always sanitized before I touch it, but now, during the Covid-19 crisis, they were especially aware and diligent about wiping everything down after it was handled. Great selection of frames and sunglasses!

Dr. Wilkins saw me promptly when I called describing symptoms of a possible detached retina. He diagnosed the problem, called the eye surgery center in Missoula, spoke with the surgeon on my behalf and set up an appointment. In less than 24 hours, my eye was repaired! He even called me to follow up a few days after the surgery and graciously answered several questions. Thats CARE above and beyond the call of duty!

Loved my experience here! My first time getting my eyes check and they were efficient and friendly! It also didnt take very long to go into all of the rooms to check my eyes in all the equipment to get a full scope of my eye exam. Also the doctor came in pretty fast and they were very helpful for finding me a pair of needed glasses for my prescription that I need!
