Made an effort to wear a mask, during glasses test fit I slipped it below my nose and they freaked out, twice. Totally un called for. Only came here because my regular doctor retired but I will never come back.

I waited for my app at 2pm I arrived at 2:05pm can u imagine the nurse said I was late with a stressful look in her face.when I entered the faces of the nurses look very unhappy.They are not friendly can you imagine the nurse asked me if I want to reschedule. I asked her if she was talking to me.sometimes you have to make way for people because you can only have a job when you have patience.

This morning I came in for my yearly eye exam as a new patient, my first impression was the office was clean & well kept. I was politely greeted when I was checking in. I then waited 40 minutes past my appointment time before being taken back to see the doctor, I am not upset about that as I too work in the medical field and understand some patients require extra attention. After my exam with the doctor, Amber, the lady who helped me, was friendly and patient as I was looking through all of the sunglasses and she truly was full of knowledge with all of my questions I had. While looking at the glasses, more and more patients were piling in and waiting. Not one associate got up to help, greet or take care of any of the people that were waiting to be helped. I offered to leave and felt bad because I was already being helped and was being picky with which glasses I was going to choose.Amber declined that and told me that she is here to help me and I had her full attention. As I was checking out, Amber was logging in my payment and there was another associate, Harley, standing behind her, making faces as though she was taking too long checking me out. I am appalled by the tension in that office. I am appalled by the lack of willingness to help the other people that walked in. As I said before, being in the medical field. Patient care is number one. I feel like I got that, thankfully. But I also know that the some other patients did not.The reason I write this review is because I felt it in my heart that while being in Wings care there was clearly hostility (the staff as a whole) between the staff members and I would not refer anyone to this office from what I saw was unacceptable. My friend also felt the same way when I was talking to him about it today as he had been seen a few weeks prior. There should be more teamwork and friendly faces to say the least.

I had the best experience today at Wing! My first time there and everyone was so personable and sweet. Harley did my eye exam, she explained why and what she was doing the whole time. I felt very comfortable explaining what problems I was having. Then I saw the Dr. Reffner she answered all my questions and was so great! After that it was time to pick out some frames! It was a little overwhelming because they have so many options, but Sara came to help. She told me to take me time and grab anything the pops out at me. I selected 5 pairs, and we sat down to try them on. I kept going back and forth and I was unsure of what I should get for my face shape. Sara explained what style would look best. She was truly phenomenal! We sat and talked, I didn’t feel rushed or pushed in any direction! I will forever gobs life to the Hamilton wing location!

The doctor was great very friendly and answered all my questions. Lori showed me all the glasses and was very patient when I looked around she was great! I would recommend going here if you are looking for a nice pair of glasses at a good price .

My daughter has been going to Wing Eye Care in Hamilton for several years. We always receive excellent care. The staff are friendly and provide quality service. We can always go in for free adjustments when her glasses become loose and recently had an entire pair replaced for free with a warranty. I would recommend Wing Eye Care to everyone.

This year was my first time going to Wing-eye care, and I thought the visit went great. I did not have a long wait at all and the people working were very polite and friendly. The ordering process of getting my glasses was very easy, and i will return to this office again for the next annual appointment.

I have been going to Wing Eyecare for many years. Dr. Winterbottom & his staff in Hamilton do an excellent job every visit. They use state-of-the-art equipment for the exams & are extremely knowledgeable about contacts & glasses. I have never had an issue with the products nor the service. His staff is courteous & helpful from the time you make an appointment, exams, fittings, & follow-up calls to ensure that everything is working properly. Our kids are now getting their contacts & glasses here.

Easy to make an appointment and didnt have to wait long to be seen. I took my kids in too and Dr. Winterbottom handled them great even though they were two rowdy boys. I think the frames are a little too pricey at Wing and so are the coatings on lens, even after insurance discounts. So you have the trade off of a great Dr and service with high price for materials.

I have been going to Wing Eyecare for years. It is because of Wing Eyecare I have vision in left eye, I had detached retinas in both eyes and had no idea what was going on the doctors called for me and had me rushed from their office to a specialist that dealt with the severe trauma I had in my eyes and caught it early enough to save my sight. Wing Eyecare has continued to monitor and advise me every step of the way since on maintaining my vision I think they are a wonderful group of professionals.Cindy Heiser

Wing Eyecare is a very nice professional office. Other places Ive gone to dont offer the same knowledgeable service that I get at Wing. Their prices can be higher, but if you tell them youve found a lower price online they will match it. I trust them more than I trust any other eyecare provider Ive gone to.

I have been going to Wing Eyecare for quite a few years and have always been very pleased with the service I receive. They are all very knowledgeable and Dr. Winterbottom is always willing to take the time to explain the results of your eye exam. He reassured me that I wasnt at risk for glaucoma, which I had been told by my previous practice because they misinterpreted a test result. He was also helpful allaying my fears when I was pregnant that my eyesight would change, and told me that that rarely happens. His staff are all very friendly and willing to assist me with any problem concerning my contacts or the fit of my glasses. I would definitely recommend them as a reliable and trustworthy eyecare practice.

What a joke. I have been a patient here for about 5 years and it has become a shell of its former self. Paid for eye exam and glasses told it would be 7 to 10 days to get my glasses in. It has now been about 4 weeks and still nothing. When I called the first time they told me they had been shipped and should be any day now. Called back a few days later and they still had not come on and they would call me when they did. A week later and I called and was told that the frames came in broken and that they are ordering new ones should be a few days, then I was called to say the frames I ordered are on back order and they would give me suitable ones till they could order the ones I wanted. So called after 5 days and still have not come in. This office is a joke anymore. Dont waste your time.

Got my new glasses today. I love them. I couldnt be happier. The staff was great and adjusted them for me so they fit great. I had a pair I had gotten earlier in the year and the frames were very poorly constructed, screws fell.out, lenses fell out. I got a call from Sarah and she made a point to get me another pair and an upgrade on the lenses. I couldnt be more pleased with the service I received from her and the staff. Thanks again Wing Eye Care. I will recommend ypunto everyone!

My name is Vickie Dill and I have been going there for years. 18 months after my last visit I was billed an additional 63.00 dollars I never rec. any explanation even after numerous calls... when I didnt pay as fast as they liked they turned my account over to a collection agency.. first time ever ... I would think I would have as long to pay as long they took to bill me.... well still without an itemized bill I paid it... Dr Winterbottom has lost a lifetime loyal patient that will never return... I found a new eye Dr. that I really like and will tell everyone I know that is in need of a Dr to go elsewhere.

I have a condition called chronic dry eye and require a special lens for my eyes called a scleral lens.I was very impressed with Dr. Winterbottom and his staff for the excellent care in fitting my lenses.They truly went out of their way to make sure I had the best possible outcome.They use state of the art equipment and the personal attention that I received was truly top notch.Thank you Wing Eyecare

We have gone to this location for a few visits now. Love the Dr but frustrated with office staff. Made sure when I made appointments for my husband and myself that it was time for insurance to cover our annual appointments again. Then come to find out we were 5 days early. They knew the day before and said they forgot to call us and let us know not to come. My husband and I both took off work and drove 40 minutes to the appointment. Waste of gas, time and money. Very disappointing.

Having our first appt. turned into a funny experience as the office lost power and we had to reschedule. This was a no hassle issue. Second appt. was fast, efficient, had friendly staff and a very professional Dr. Winterbottom. My son was promised his glasses within 10 days and it did not even take a week and they were in! Everyone had told me NOT to go to Wing because it was expensive but I found it to be VERY reasonable. Will definately return to this office for myself and my family!

After 40 years with another optometrist, I switched to Dr. Winterbottom this past spring. I was impressed with the professionalism of the entire staff and the doctors attention to my needs. I received a thorough exam; Dr. Winterbottom explained each step of the process to me. I experienced an emergency this morning (a Saturday), called the office, and was seen within 60 minutes. Once again, Dr. Winterbottom explored the problem thoroughly. He sent me three videos which further explain the issue. Consequently, my husband, daughter and son-in-law have switched to Dr. Winterbottom.

Dr. Winterbottom does an excellent job. I had a contact prescription that wasnt correct and that was giving me problems after having been to another eye doctor. Dr Winterbottom was able to get me to the correct prescription and correct contact lense option and Ive had a very good experience with my contacts ever since. Ive been going to Dr. Winterbottom for years and now my kids are going to him as well. He does a very good job with all members of our family. We would highly recommend Dr. Winterbottom!!
