It is a great day at Mr Tire when they can welcome a new, unscheduled customer well with humor, good nature and great customer service while providing quick yet top quality auto service at an affordable price. Specifically Jeremy was able to greet this customer on his - Jeremy’s birthday so warmly that i could have believed it was my own birthday and the work was executed above what was needed on my high mileage vehicle right before a road trip the next day. Had a flat tire at 430p and was in a rush to get it fixed. I called one place and they couldn’t fit me in because they were closing at 5. Called Victor at Mr Tire and he said to bring it in now. I pulled up and brought my keys in. Pretty sure he didn’t even hang them up because his crew got to it right away and pulled my car in their garage. It was no nonsense work, they patched it up quickly and it put me back a reasonable $25 and I was on my way in 30 minutes. Victor understood the issue and the urgency and he exceeded my expectations. Also, he was super friendly, well grounded and could hold intelligent conversation. Will be back for any future needs!

We were away from home, and had brake issues. We came there and they said they were not sure if they could fit in, but would try. They completed the job for getting us get back home. We are thankful for the awesome service the provided.

We were on vacation and our car had a blowout. Come to find out defective tires were put on by a previous owner…We were given immediate service, an honest assessment, 4 new quality tires and very skilled labor! The price was reasonable and the staff was very nice. Mr. Tire saved the day!

Stopped In to get a tire fixed. They took my car in pulled the wheel and found a nail in the tire. They got the nail out, patched the tire and put the fixed tire back on while i waited. Lot better to get it patched than plugged. Good attitudes, work and worked me in their schedule.

While on vacation, we had a tire meet with a rock while on the Blue Ridge Parkway. When we got to Harrisonburg, Mr. Tire was the only place open late enough for us to use, and I am thankful. Jeremy and his crew were amazing in getting tires ordered and installed so the next day we were on our way...many thanks for a job well done!

I recently purchased new wheels and tires for my truck and went to 3 different shops and no one could figure out why my tpms sensors weren’t working so I thought I would try Mr Tire, within no time they had replaced the sensors that another shop said didn’t work and had me back on the road in no time!! Super helpful group here. I was traveling down I-81, and my tire light came on. It was nearing 5pm and the sun was starting to go down, these guys were able to get me in on a super short notice, fixed my tire, and got me back on the road and to my destination before it was dark out. Outstanding service, friendly staff, and they made my day!

Ive had the oil changed at Mr. Tire a few times. And my experience has been positive each time -sometimes humorous. They have only been cool, genuine, timely and helpful. Too, being able to make appointments via their website is doubly helpful.

My tire kept going flat every couple of days, so I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Tire auto service center here in Harrisonburg. They were able to locate the leak, fix it up, and get it back to me all in under 30 minutes! Amazing service, hopefully I don’t have more car troubles but if I do I’ll be sure to come back here!

I really can’t explain how awesome this place is. I was driving through town on my way to MS with my 3 children and my car started acting very funny. It was evening time and no one was open so we had to stay the night at a hotel. I drove the car to Mr. Tire an hour before they opened so I could be the first in line...amazingly, their staff showed up early, got my car in and out within a couple hours (had to special order a part too) and showed me exactly what was wrong with the car and how the last auto shop had completely screwed me...but that’s another story. Anyhow - huge shout out to the folks that work here. They are GOOD people!! Thank you for allowing me to drive my car safely down south!

I was Quoted 450.00 for 3 tires mounted and balanced and I went to get them and asked to just buy the tires and I would get my girlfriend to come in and pay for the mount and balance ( me paying for tires only ) and the price ended up at to 485.00. I asked why and he said thats the best he can do. So with adding mounting and balance to that bill it wouldve been 130.00 over the quote, yea I told them to shove the tires you know where

I highly recommend Mr. Tire of Harrisonburg. Preston was kind and professional from the moment I walked in the door. He performed a couple different repairs and did it in a timely manner. I felt I could trust what he was telling me and that he gave a reasonable price. He also took the time to explain what the issues were, not just randomly charging for things. I took my truck to have a ball joint replaced recently and received excellent work and an incredibly fair price with a quick turnaround. It has been working perfect for the last couple months. The new management seems to be very effective. Highly recommend!

These guys were great! I took my car in for an oil change, and had previously been told by a different mechanic that I needed tires. After looking my car over, they gave me the report. My tires were actually ok! They did advise that I would need tires in the future of course, but had time left on these. I did need break pads, and they suggested rotors too. I know one of the guys was Preston, I don’t remember the other guys name though. Both of them were very kind and very informative though. They never talked down to me for being a woman or anything like that. I was pleased that they didn’t just automatically say I needed tires. I will definitely be back! I feel I was treated very fairly and got a good deal. (They gave me a coupon!)

The gentleman at Mr.Tire were wonderful to work with. The tech that helped me was very informative with the information he provided and was able to work with me in navigate the work that needed to be done. They dont pressure you at all. I will definitely be going back.

Excellent service! I was at Target when I noticed my tire needed repair. I drove over to Mr Tire (probably shouldnt have as the tire was totally flat!). I asked them if they could help me and I needed it done quickly as I needed to pick my daughter up from school. From the time I walked in the door until I got back in my car with a new tire was 30 minutes! Unbelievably good service and they were very nice.

My car was towed there. The manager came out and diagnosed the problem as a bad water pump.They replaced the water pump. Problem was the same if not worse. They closed for the day (Saturday) and told us to come back Monday and the car was OK to drive to our campsite in Shenandoah, It was not! On Monday they said it would only take about 5 minutes to fix it and we were there almost all day while they tried to find out why their fix would not work. They finally told us they did not know what was wrong and we should take the car to a Jeep dealer for proper diagnosis. We paid them $742.71 to repair a car which they did not repair. After being towed to a Jeep dealer in PA we were told that the problem was either a burned valve or a bad cylinder. More diagnosis would involve tearing the engine down. A new engine was recommended . They should refund the money I paid for a repair that did not fix the problem.

I traveled into town and my father took my vehicle to get it serviced for me at this location. To say that Im disappointed in the service is an understatement. My suv was leaking oil at a rapid rate loosing nearly 2 quarts of oil. Luckily it was an easy tightening of the drain bolt.How can you give a place a positive review when they cant perform a basic job like an oil change. Its literally removal and replacement of a single bolt! To not double check your work to validate that its done properly is insane.I hate to ding this company because the Mr Tire that I usually service my vehicles at is above board on everything they do. This location needs to get it together.

In the middle of a 400 mile trip. Blown tire on deck over trailer. Tire cord seperation issues. These guys were on it. Two new tires. These guys know there business... and fair.. price was right..Feeling blessed every day. ..

I have two reviews for them because theyre just that great:REVIEW ONE: Over the last couple of months, I have has several random issues with my car. I can say without hesitation that the guys who work at Mr. Tire have been heaven sent. They take the time to explain what is going on, present me with all options available, and suggest what would be best AND most cost efficient. Most places won’t do that.On top of all of the help they’ve given me, their customer service is second to none. They are quick, friendly, and quite hilarious. I am grateful to have a shop that I can come to and trust that they are going to to excellent work without the fear of being ripped off. So grateful for them and everything they’ve done.__________________________REVIEW TWO: I returned two weeks later because my check airbag pressure light had been on ever since I got my car deep cleaned (the person took out the chairs). I was extremely concerned because the light had been on for a couple of weeks but that day an accident could have happened.When I took it in to the shop, I was expecting them to maybe look at it (because they had a lot of cars they were working on already), let me know how much this was going to cost, and then wish me the best of luck but no - that’s did not happen. Instead, the two guys who work in the front stopped what they were doing and spent THIRTY minutes helping me figure out what was wrong with my car. Thirty minutes.While they were checking, they cracked a couple of jokes which put me in a much better mood and they also charged my battery which was on the verge of dying. Lo and behold, the person who had cleaned my car didn’t snap one part of my chair back in all the way. Because of this, my seat felt no pressure on it and it was extremely likely that my air bags wouldn’t have deployed.Am I being dramatic when I say they possibly saved my life? No. Will I go to anyone else while I live in Harrisonburg or Rockingham county? Absolutely not. I promise you I’m not being paid or even receiving a discount on future/current/past services to write this review. I’m writing this because I am continuously blown away by their customer service, the excellence they put into their work, and how they’ve made me feel like I have a safe group of people to come to whenever my car (and thus I) and in distress.Thanks for all you guys do, I cannot say it enough.

Told them i needed my tire checked for a small leak, they told me they didnt see anything..they didnt even check it..no water no nothing..took my jeep right down the road to Firestone and they found it..it was a leaking valve steam just like i told mr tire

My wife took her vehicle there for an oil change without an appointment. They got her in within minutes. A full synthetic oil change for an SUV ended up being $35. They told us it would take 45 minutes and we got that call saying it was finished almost to the minute they predicted. The staff was super friendly and extremely professional. I couldnt recommend the Harrisonburg, Va location any higher. Keep up the great work!

Wonderful experience. Great customer service. My father, a disabled veteran, took my car to Nissan in Harrisonburg and after being told they werent going to help him, he took my car to Monro Muffler and they were able to fix my car that day! Robert, the assistant manager, took great care of my car and fully inspected it to make sure nothing else was wrong. Im forever going to go to Monro Muffler instead of Nissan. Highly recommend. Way better than Nissan. Monro Muffler in Harrisonburg truly cares about their customers, unlike Nissan.

Went in for an oil change and thats what I got. They gave a car look over and made a suggestion. Didnt upsell or try to take advantage of a woman. Quick, cheap and easy!

Information for my vehicle was on file. I was in pretty much at the time of my appointment and out in about an hour. This included tire rotation, repair for a nail that was in one tire and balance.

Mr. Bill was so nice. I am traveling to Richmond and he patched my tire within 20 mins and it was very affordable. Thank you Bill and staff at Mr. Tire.

Failed to weld the new muffler on correctly (that was the wrong size muffler) so that there was an air leak. I brought it back in and Monro put a heavier weld and caulking rated for mufflers on it. My truck failed inspection due to leaking air again. The inspection shop also said putty was not allowed on exhausts for inspections. Took it to another shop which told me the muffler was the wrong size and the welds looked like they were done by a 5 year old. They replaced the muffler and welds for $87 (Monro charged me $437 to do it wrong twice). I took my truck back in for an inspection and it passed. I went back to Monro to get my money back from their wrongly sized muffler. They told me I voided the warranty by getting someone who knew what they were doing to fix the muffler and bad mouthed the guy for stealing my money when he did it right the first time for less than a quarter of the amount. I can’t speak to the brake work or anything else that this shop does but don’t get anything here that needs to be welded on. I think it is pretty sorry that a shop with muffler in the name can’t put a muffler on right given two tries at it. My rejected inspection sticker only lasts for 15 days. How many days was I supposed to keep bringing it back to Monro to get “fixed”? The only thing their “awesome” warranty did was lock me into their continued horrible service. Manager said he would give my number to his district manager but I never got a call. I doubt he even sent him my number.

Went to another shop and they could not find a leak in my tire, five minutes here and they found it and were already fixing it!! Excellent service and quick too!

Speed and service were fine. 42.00 to mount and balance 2 new tires is about twice what i usually pay and was more than the cost of a tire. Wont be back

Paid for 4 wheel balance, they did 2.. they even took off previous weight from those imbalanced 2...when drove out on the hwy couldnt even hold the steering wheel how bad it was...Mr.Tire never again..

Great group of people here, they apologized that it took longer than usual b/c the previous oil change place screwed on the drain pipe too tightly and stripped it and they needed to find a replacement. Also recommended a rival shop b/c they didnt offer state safety inspections.
