Fast enough. Need help like any place. Bit I got an oil change nonetheless. Goal achieved.

I came in today to have some coolant put in my car, and I also asked them to show me how to put air in my tires. I told them that I didn’t have more than 10 dollars to spend, and asked if they were still able to help me. One of the mechanics, Troy, told me that he would take care of me. Not only did Troy put air in my tires, but he also filled my coolant, changed my oil, and took a nail out of my tire and plugged it for me. I asked him how much I owed him, he told me not to worry about it. This is one of the kindest encounters I have ever had with a stranger and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much.

The purpose of this correspondence is to express my heartfelt dissatisfaction with the service I received at store #444 in Harrisonburg, VA. on Sunday morning, 06-27-2021.My wife and I were vacationing at the near by Massanutten Resort when our “need oil change light” came on, and we knew we had many miles yet to travel. I looked up Jiffy Lube on my phone and was pleased that there was one near and a $10.00 Off coupon was available.When I pulled in to Jiffy Lube, I was met by an employee and I was told that they were out of oil that my car required. I asked if I supplied the oil he could he change it. He said yes. After a trip down the road, I returned with oil. Then, he asked if I had bought a filter also. I asked if he had one to fit my car. He said yes, but it would be cheaper for me if I supplied one. I actually did buy one for future use (if convenient, I change my own oil).I told him that I have a $10.00 off coupon on my phone, and he said that he could not accept it because of the circumstances,He quickly changed the oil and presented me with a bill of $43.00 --- that over $170 per shop hour. I complained about the cost, especially when I supplied the oil and filter. However, it fell on deaf ears.This experience has ended any future relationship with Jiffy Lube.

I have been extremely disappointed in this particular Jiffy Lube location. Today, my boyfriend went to get an oil change and they closed early due to being unprepared for an audit, so we were told. The last time I personally went to receive and oil change, they did not close my oil drain plug, and thankfully I noticed before my car was bone dry which would have locked my engine out. I will not be using their services at this location again. To think that they are renounced for oil changes, you should be able to trust their technicians to not make such a simple, yet costly mistake. There are plenty of wonderful mechanics in Harrisonburg who may cost slightly more, but it’s worth investing in to not go through the trouble of worrying about dealing with unprofessional, inattentive employees here.

Boyd and the team helped me out with a stripped oil pan. They made sure everything was taken care of so I’d have no future problems. I appreciated their communication and dedication to getting the issue resolved.

I came in for an oil change was charged $73 for synthetic oil.. With one trip to the beach and back 236 miles both ways. My car was telling me I was low on oil, I checked my oil and it was BONE DRY not even a week later, I then got it checked for an oil leak or anything that could cause this issue didn’t find not one issue with my vehicle. Got my car oil changed/ added at car quest, returned to the beach and back, been keeping track on how much oil the car has been consuming and haven’t had no issues what so ever! So either they didn’t change the oil, or just didn’t put enough of the oil that I paid for. They took over an hour to do this “oil change”. I am highly disappointed and could’ve caused a lot of damage to my vehicle. Never will I return to another jiffy lube! Huge waste of time and money to only be taken advantage of! SHAME ON YOU!!

On a Sunday morning at 9am, my Mazda 3 2004 broke down with a shattered pulley on the serpentine belt about 2 miles from this location and 2.5 hrs from home. They were open on a Sunday. I drove/pushed my now overheating Mazda into the service shop. Troy was waiting with a fan to help cool the engine and was able to get a replacement serpentine belt and pulley installed in about 3 hours. Which is pretty impressive for a Sunday when nearly every service shop and auto store was closed. He also had good communication throughout. Thanks Troy!

Failed to tighten the drain plug causing oil to leak, lucky I caught it. Explains why they so quickly handed the vehicle back. Would not recommend.

I have to first say that I was a regular customer at Jiffy Lube in Maryland. It was my first visit here, in Virginia. It was fast and pleasant but not the same as I had been accustomed to. I used to have someone go over what they found (in great detail) and my car was vacuumed. Not here but that was okay. Good service.

Took my friends car to them with a poor rear brake job done by a Maryland shop. They took care of the car the following Thursday with a complete replacement of parts done as warranty work. Was so pleased I bought the tech and the manager a McDonalds gift card! Excellent job Troy!

Took my car to this Jiffy Lube, this past Saturday. I was their first customer of the day, and I was having service done on a used car I’d just purchased. The team we’re all so professional, and went the extra mile to look over the car and replaced all my requested items quickly and efficiently! I have been a long time customer, plan to continue going there, and would recommend this particular Jiffy Lube to others! It’s an honest team working there, and the management is awesome!

It was okay, the issues on my FIRST visit...They said they vacuumed but the same combo cracker I dropped last night was still by my feet where I left it last night 🤔Second, I had an online coupon from THEIR website but because my phone wouldnt bring it up a second time, they wouldnt accept it.Seems like a first time customer would be treated better js

**update**Its been over 6 months since I have been there bc we usually change our own oil but decided to get it done since its so cold out. I am still impressed by the friendliness of staff. The manager took the time to introduced himself and explain the services offered, which I was surprised is a lot more than just basic services and an oil change.I cant remember the managers name but I was very impressed and will continue to use them!

Good staff and quick service. The prices are reasonable and you usually can find coupons on the Jiffy Lube website. Building overall is very neat and well kept.

Great and fast service. Staff was very professional, helpful and courteous. However, I only gave 3 stars because I feel that $92.00 is far too much for just an oil change. Because of this chances are slim to none that Ill be returning.

Well, in short, JL has yet to implement and reinforce CDC best practices for doing business in the pandemic environment. No employees wearing masks, gloves, or seriously taking any distancing measures. Other than being offered the option of staying in your vehicle while being serviced, most common sense measures were basically ignored. I was asked to lower my window during service, had a tech within inches of my face while being consulted, and just plain reckless interactions with staff during my entire service. JL has a long way to go before being CDC compliant with standards.

When putting oil in my engine, it was spilled over top.of my engine and on the manifold. While driving down the road smoke began to come out of my engine good and I had to pull off the road because I thought my car was on fire. When the windshield was washed it was just smeared and worse then before it was washed. I will not return there in the future.

Edit: replied to the below response. No follow up. Big surprise ... Paid for signature service that includes cleaning windows and topping off wiper fluid. Both of those werent completed, which begs the question: did they perform the major parts of the service correctly? Wont be going back.

Great group of employees, honest and upbeat. Its disappointing however, I can get a service done for less at the dealership on an American made vehicle. $48.99 from the dealership for synthetic blend and a rotation vs $78.00.

Stopped by with a family member to get an oil change on Sunday at 2:30p.m. and the doors were locked. No one appeared to be there and the door said they were supposed to be open until 4:00p.m. on Sunday same was posted online. Ended up going to firestone down the street, I guess you’re better off going to firestone.

I have had several uneventful/positive experiences at this place, but today they did not communicate clearly about whether I could use my own oil– something that previous managers had allowed no-problem. They also didnt let me use the online coupon that I forgot to show them when ringing up, saying too late you already paid. It was obviously too much inconvenience for them to amend the transaction in order to save a loyal customer money.

This was the fastest service experience Ive ever had that was suppose to include oil change, vacuum, fluids topped, and exterior windows cleaned.. All this was suppose to have been done in 15 minutes. I got in my car to find none of the above done and Im still not certain if I had an oil change performed. When you try and call the store the phones ring busy and after over an hour or attempting you can reach someone. I wont go back again because Ive never paid for an oil change thats $90 considering even the dealership was never that much.

I was on the way our of town for a training seminar in West Virginia, my oil pic was showing, so I stopped to get my oil topped off. Though they were very busy, they got me in and out in a very timely manner!!! I really appreciated their service.

As I sit here on a Sunday morning before Im supposed to be driving 2200 miles to Arizona. They open at 8 it is now 8:30 apparently two of their employees have not shown up so there is nothing they can do with two employees on the clock, somewhat understandable but every other time Ive been here one guy is working and the rest are standing around. There has been 4 vehicles in total that have pulled in and out of here in the last half hour, do to this short staff. Sounds like you need a better staff, or you are going to continue to lose customers. Although the lady that is here and explaining what is going on is very helpful and rather entertaining so thats a plus.

The customer service is awesome. I always come here for oil changes. The manager always remembers me and my car. I love that I can come in between oil changes to have the oil checked and topped off.

Professional workers you can trust

The only reason I chose to pay twice as much for an oil change by coming here was so they would vacuum my interior. The vacuuming was NOT done AT ALL. Makes me wonder what else they skipped. Immediately after leaving I had to go vacuum my own car. Will not be going back.

Very quick service. Only thing I would say was missed was resetting the tire pressure gauge after adding air. All good otherwise.

The service was slow. I needed an oil change and headlight replaced. The technician said my headlight could not be replaced because he could not access it. I had to explain you have to go in at the wheel well under the car. Then he said I was missing the caps for my headlight access panel. He said the last person to replace them must have lost them. Then low and behold another technician found them after my car was moved. My technician was incompetent and clueless. Then they had computer issues which caused excessive wait times to check out.To add insult to injury they couldnt figure out how to reset my oil life on the car. They washed my windows with a dirty rag and now those are streaky and hard to see out of. I will not visit this particular location again.

The team was fast and efficient and very friendly. The manager was professional and friendly. I was shocked how quickly I was in and out and on my way! Great crew!

The manager (I believe his name was John) was super awesome. He was really helpful, informative, and was not pushy at all. Ive had some experiences when getting an oil change where theyve tried to upsell me on things that werent necessary. This was the first time Ive been to this location but they were not like that at all. He informed me of my options and when I chose the cheaper option he told me he totally understood and didnt try to convince me otherwise. They were also really quick & did a great job!

I’ve been going to Jiffy Lube for years in whatever town I have lived in. I just moved to Harrisonburg and this is the first time I’ve been to this location. I had a great experience and I’m a definitely recommend it! They were quick and courteous.

He did not try to sell us anything we did not need, which was a refreshing change from most places. We also received a discount because my husband is a srudent. Quick service friendly people would give 5 stars but brought my own oil and filter and it was still $40 will go back if needed my normal place does it for $20 if I bring my own oil and filter but it sounded like they check the car over pretty well thanks for that

Really unprofessional. They started touching parts of the car, such as the fog lights, without asking because it was loose and ended up damaging it further and pulled a clip off. I suspect they broke the hood latch as well because the latch was not broken the last time I used it, but two days after I took it to their shop the spring is loose like someone yanked on it. They were just overall immature and poor at their jobs. I will never go back there.

My son and I were 2 hours into a 10 hour trip to his college when our check engine light came on. We were approaching Harrisonburg so I quickly looked up Jiffy Lube and found one right off the highway. We were so afraid there would be a significant wait, making our trip that much longer.Surprise, surprise! We sailed right into a “bay”, oil and filter were changed, tires were checked and air was added, and they even cleaned our windows!! My son and I were particularly impressed with the friendliness of the Staff and the excellent service.We safely made it to our destination with only a 15-20 minute delay, all due to the excellent care we got at the Harrisonburg Jiffy Lube. I wish all businesses operated this well and with attention to good customer service.Thank you!A very grateful mom and her son

3rd time a charm and they lost our business... We took company truck and personal truck there for oil changes. The 1st strike was when they dumped oil all over engine of new personal truck and when called they said they will make sure we are taken care of next time (somehow they didn’t remember) 2nd strike asked to change fuel filter in company truck and they said they had to order and call me when gets in.. I said okay.. no phone call.. 3rd strike today took company truck in for oil change. They didn’t have a filter in stock and could not perform service. Terrible...they lost a regular customer!

Although I had a coupon, which I purchased in advance, I was informed that management refused to honor my coupon. I was very disappointed and am inclined to go somewhere else for oil changes. The team there is good, but customer service is poor.

Dropped my truck off to have a simple oil change performed at the Harrisonburg location. Upon returning and paying for the services completed I was told my keys were in my truck only to discover that they were not in my vehicle. For the next three hours my keys were searched for, surveillance cameras watched, HPD contacted and assisted in the search for the missing keys. I had to leave my truck overnight and return the next day after borrowing a friends vehicle to go get my spare key. Jiffy Lube rightfully so paid for a replacement key but has yet to provide any compensation for the time and inconvenience this encounter caused. I attempted to get in contact with Corporate and now approx. three weeks later I have yet to get a response. I was told that I would be reimbursed for my oil change and have additional services compensated for which I have yet to see proof or any guarantee of. At this location there is not an appropriate organization or storage method for keys to vehicles. They simply lay them on a cluttered counter if the customer is not on location at the completion of service.

Service was quick. Only complaint I have is the cleaning of the windows. Petty, I know, but if that’s part of your signature service it should be done correctly. I had to re-cleaned the windows when I got home because there were serious dirt streaks left behind.

As I know, this Jiffy Lube stays busy from 8am to 6pm. They do take walk in appts but you Must be there early as 8am to be in line.Its Better to Call ahead & make yourself an appt.!!Jiffy Lube is known for their fast oil change done within 45 min. & their special Rates from $54.95 & up.They have 3 Mechanics there.My Girlfriend gets her oil change every 3mos. & Says I have never had a problem with my car & the staff is very friendly!

Fast service, nice people, and cheaper then the guys down the street.... Last visit was a week ago and very disappointed. Oddly enough 2 other customers were done before me evem though i arrived for oil change at same time as the first one. I made the mistake of leaving my purse in the car and by coincidence that afternoon fraud prevention stopped a $400 charge from going through on a credit card that was in my wallet. Not pointing fingers but strange timing. Do not plan on going back.

The service technicians seem very polite and courteous. However, I had major problems with the services at the East Market Street location on October 31. I discovered the problems a bit over a month later and on the advice of a friend who is an attorney, stopped by the location to inquire how to file a claim. A fellow named John, who said he was the location manager, dismissed my complaints, denied all problems, gave implausible excuses, said there was no procedure for filing a claim, and even refused to give me his last name. Even after five direct requests, he refused to give me contact information for the franchisee, saying the he was the final say in the matter. He finally told me the owners contact information was posted in an obscure corner on the wall. I called and left a message for the franchisees district manager. I received a phone call less than 24 hours later from the district manager. He was very courteous, cooperative, and concerned about the problems. He took the information, followed up with the most major problem, and called me back in less than an hour with an offer of a settlement that meets with my complete satisfaction. He also assured me that he would follow up on the other issues to ensure that the location is adhering to the companys emphasis on ethical and fair treatment of customers. I am amending my review in light of the courteous, cooperative, and professional treatment I received from the district manager. If upper management isnt made aware of a problem at a location, they can not correct it. In this case, the district managers action convinces me the company is interested in feedback and will indeed follow up with major problems if they are made aware.

Wait time significantly longer than promised, nbd. Left dirty stains on front seats and steering wheel. Never had oil leaking previously, left a large oil stain on my driveway after service, techs likely spilled oil on motor; verified bolts/cap tightly screwed in.

Very nice people that work there, I have been there two times now to get my oil changed and you get so much more for the cost it’s great !! $70 for an oil change and the skid plate fell off driving down the road? Unbelievably unprofessional. Guy who came out to the interstate to fix it said youd be surprised how often this happens well it shouldnt EVER happen so get it together. Wasnt even offered anything for my trouble. Just a hey, sorry, man save yourself some possible issues and avoid this shop.

This place is massively overpriced, $120 for an oil change and the air filter replaced. Theres a place in Elkton 20 minutes north that will do it for MUCH cheaper. My father came here once and had the same problem. Ill never go here again

While fast and polite, this place is way over priced. Also they have to drive your vehicle into and out of the bay which isnt a real problem but gave me a hart attack when I saw my vehicle moving and my daughter was in the back seat. I thought my truck was being stolen. Finally I dont think they do all of the checks they claim to. I noticed a rear light out yesterday and they said all lights working checked it again and nope it didnt magically repair itself.
