They are nice sometimes. The problem comes in after you purchase your vehicle. They promised to fix some issues with the car and more than 6 months later we are still waiting. Anytime I come in to address that issue It takes forever for me to be greeted or even seen by someone. They just walk pass you and go about their business.

Bought a car in June. When I sat down with the finance guy to finalize everything they had changed the agreed upon purchase price on the final paperwork compared to the purchase agreement. After looking it over I noticed the tax percent was lowered on the final contract. Finance person said it was because they accidentally put New Orleans tax percent instead of Slidell like they were supposed to. But instead being up front and letting me know that they made a tax percent mistake in my favor, and I would be saving $250, they bumped up the agreed upon price for them to pocket the extra $250. I had already got a check from our bank that was financing the deal. So they finance person says we will send you the difference. Well it is October and have not received our $250 nor can we get anyone who can say when or if we will. Very shady, be careful..

Do not buy a car from this place. I purchased a vehicle from here and they messed up on the contracts so badly and overcharged me on the state tax with my vehicle which i have yet to recieve . Also, when i tried to get a refund for the service warranty and gap insurance the finance manager carl who was supposed to turn in documents never turned in any thing i had to go through the corporate office to send of paperwork luckily i kept a copy because I would have been in trouble and they have also been a pain to work with. i would never buy a car from no matter good of a deal it was.

Horrible customer service, and love to waste your time. we test drove a few cars and they were FULL OF TRASH. how do you expect to sell cars with trash in them? their sales people lack customer service skills greatly, iris rhodes did not help us at all. yes, their cars are decently priced, but i rather pay a little more somewhere else that KNOWS HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS!

Had a good experience here with Rogelio when my boyfriend was buying a car. He was friendly and patient as we checked out several cars. The other staff there that day were also nice even those who we werent working with directly. They kept us hydrated with plenty of water on a 90+ degree day in the sun. Wide selection of cars at good prices and unlike regular dealers there wasnt a bunch of price haggling which is a nice change. Recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a used car.

Purchased a car with a crack in front bumper. I was told by branch manager that they would fix the crack. My sales person told me she would call me to set up the appointment. I called the next day to set up the appointment to get my car repaired and the manager acted like he did not know what I was talking about and my sales person would not return my car. Purchased my 2017 Nissan Altima from here . Shanquelle was my salesperson she was very patient. The car I wanted was previously sold upon arrival. I was so disappointed Shanquelle walk the lot until, she found the exact same car . Her attitude and customer service was way above my expectations. The prices are far lower than at typical dealerships or lots and you dont have to deal with trying to negotiate cost. The employees who helped us were all very kind and helpful. Slightly disorganized but the wait times werent overly long. Absolutely would recommend buying a car from here!

My husband and I needed to get a new car unexpectedly. We had to have a car that was of a certain year or newer so thats why we went to hertz expecting newer cars with high mileage. We were fine with the mileage. The first few cars we looked at were absolutely disgusting inside. We finally found a car we liked with a few cosmetic issues that we were fine with the cost of fixing. The driver side sun visor was missing and the passenger side mirror cover was missing as well. One mechanical one was we were getting an error with the key and assumed it needed to be reprogrammed since the remote start wasnt working and the buttons on the doors werent working either. Again that was a cost we were okay with. Heres whats not okay. The car doesnt have remote start like we were told it did and while we were told it came with two functioning keys, it doesnt. So now were faced with putting $1000 into a car just to get it to the condition we were told it was in when we purchased it. In addition to this, the low tire pressure light came on during the test drive. We were told they would check it out and plug or replace the tire if need be. The light was off when we drove off the lot but was back on within a couple days. Took it in to be looked at and there was a nail in the side wall so within a week of owning this car we had to buy a new tire. My advice to anyone buying from here is dont listen to a word they say. They seem really nice but theyre lying to your face. Make sure everything is within fine print.

Cant give good opinion for HERTZ CAR SALES.I called them to ask for information on rentals, and the guy who picked up the phone was very very disrespectful and useless. I dont get why he wasnt able to tell me that the place I was looking for, were next door to his place. I would give them 0 stars if possible. I spoke via email with Bryant Duvernay off and on for weeks. Come to a agreed upon price so I come for test drive after test drive I agreed upon price just goes out the window. I am informed that Hertz doesnt negotiate however when I went next door the manager calls with a different price. Thats negotiating correct? I declined and moved on. Liers all up and through there. Dont let them run your credit either.

I live two hours away and wanted a mechanic down the street to pass by and simply do a visual inspection (no tests, etc) to make sure it was in good shape. But NO, I was the ONLY person who could even LOOK at it! Amazingly stupid and poor excuse for customer service.Enterprise Car Sales is nearby, try them, but dont patronize Hertz, ever.

Well I brought a 2017 Hyundai sonata from here close to two weeks ago and I love the car so far the staff was nice and they didnt sell the car and they actually held the car for me I didnt feel as though I wasnt being screwed over by them the only reason why Im giving them a four out of five stars is because of this when I got the car they didnt put the correct date on the registration on the car and they didnt give me the titles they actually forgot to give it to me but they gave me free gas from travelling back there to get those two things

I bought a 2017 yaris hatchback here in March. I bought the car specifically for fuel efficency. Since purchasing the car, which I paid approx. 10,000 in total for. The vehicle has been getting a shocking 18 mpg. The vehicle is advertised 30 city/35 highway. And the vehicle computer reads it gets an avg of 29.5 Yet it has never got close and the gas mpg it does get, has been declining. The gas light comes on at 200 miles and its a 11.1 gallon tank-avg 18 mpg.I called Hertz to explain issue and they said my only option was to go to toyota dealership. I spent a full day at lakeside toyota waiting for service eventhough I had an apt and they said they couldnt identify issue but maybe replace air filter. So I did, the next tank I got even less and so then took it to Toyota of New Orleans they also couldnt identify issue but said I needed oil change where the sticker hertz provided said I still have 1500 before needing to be serviced. Curious what other lies Hertz told me about the vehicles history.Now I am stuck with Hertz telling me there is no return policy, no warranty unless toyota connects issue to engine or transmission, and no recourse to spending 10 grand on a vehicle that is advertised as fuel effiecient, that is getting the same gas mpg as a truck. I would return the vehicle if I could and I have no recourse, support or compensation from Hertz in this matter. I have now spent two full work days sitting in toyota dealerships after buying a vehicle that was apparently in excellent condition.I would forewarn anyone from buying a vehicle from Hertz and from trusting the condition of the vehicle Hertz advertises the vehicle is in. They clearly do not mantinence their vehicles as advertised. They also do not take seriously post purchase complaints and issues with their vehicles. I feel I was sold a vehicle at an exspensive price, not in the advertised condition with no semblance of professional, responsible recourse when the vehicle failed to function in a viable way.

Bad customer service, long waiting and unfriendly staff. Car was located in the back of the lot and inaccessible for test drive. We called ahead of time TWICE (Monday & Today in the morning) with all intentions of purchasing the car, but due to lack of correspondence and follow up, no messages were relayed to appropriate parties.

Saying that I am extremely upset with Hertz Car Sales is putting it lightly. After traveling from the Northshore to the Westbank to view their cars we had to wait nearly an hour to test drive a vehicle because they could not find the keys to the car. Being that they have only been open for three weeks, I tried to be patient. I returned with my father a couple of days later so that he could inspect the car. Everything looked good and we were attempting to purchase the vehicle. Because I was pre-qualified through my credit union, and Hertz is not set up for a funds transfer, I needed to provide a Buyers Order to my credit union so that they could cut Hertz a check. Since my credit union is located on the Northshore and it was late Friday afternoon, I asked if I could bring the check to them on Monday. The Hertz Manager and Financial Officer said that it was not a problem, that they would hold the car for me until Monday. I left Friday, Buyers Order in hand, and the promise of a newer car for my daughter from the Manager. I even received a call Friday evening from the Saleswoman stating that my car was being detailed. Monday morning I headed to the bank to withdraw funds as a downpayment to the credit union. Since the Buyers Order contained the VIN, I called my insurance company and got everything set up and paid the first month of insurance for the vehicle. We drove to the credit union and met with the loan officer who asked me to contact the Financial Officer at Hertz and ask him to change the address for the title and a glitch in our name. Upon calling Hertz this morning, and getting transferred to three different people, I finally told the person what I needed. He informs me that the car had been sold on Saturday....BY THE MANAGER!. This is no way to conduct business! So the word of the Manager and piece of paper that is signed by the Financial Officer isnt worth the paper its written. They say that things happen for a reason and maybe this is my blessing in disguise. If you are looking for a vehicle, buyer BEWARE if you shop here! This location has only been operational for three weeks and is a Mickey Mouse operation. What a waste of time and effort! I sure hope that you guys get your act together at this location or it will not be open for much longer. I plan on writing the Hertz Co. and telling them about my experience as well as anyone else who will listen. Shame on you!

Worst place I’ve ever been to. Horrible service. Extremely unprofessional employees, especially their managers. They will sell cars from under you after you sign all the paperwork. Don’t EVER go here for a used car. Their cars are not well taken care of and have scratches and dents all over. Some have the smell of a smoker inside and carpets are bleached and their colors do not match. They have no respect for their customers whatsoever.

Cheap cars but very long wait times and unfriendly staff. Some cars shown haven’t been inspected or cleaned before put on lot for sale. I was given a key to a car that didn’t start and had trash in it.
