Neil is AWESOME.However we have had our 2016 Ram Eco diesel for 4 days and the check engine light is on. Called them after being transferred 5 times we got told. “Drop it off and we will look at it and see if the warranty is willing to cover the repairs. We don’t supply loaner cars, so make sure you have a ride home.” So I have mixed feelings on this place. Oh and the best part the moment my fiancé told them what code the scanner is detecting they knew exactly what truck he was calling about.

This is the second time in the past couple years you guys have sold me a car with issues.First was a car that turned out to be a flood car, now I just recently bought a scion from you, within the first week had to put it in the shop to have a speed transmission sensor replaced, needed an oil change within the first week of me having it. Then today I ran over a nail, put the spare on, and noticed that the interior side of the rim is bent.

Went to this dealership today in hopes to leave with a car in the same day and did just that. Jason greeted me as soon as I arrived and made sure I was taken care of and listened to. Came after a family member bought a vehicle here they said I should come here I wanted a newer vehicle an SUV with good lumbar support and made it clear the first day how much I wanted to spend!! Payment ect, I wasnt upset at first seemed nice and had me excited on September 23rd long story short my credit was pulled @ 8 times when I had an approval of credit i brought with me! when they never stood by a vehicle I liked it was like a bean bag toss everything had an excuse!very disappointed

I found the car I was looking for at Hickory Used Car Superstore. I called Saturday morning and talked to Jeanine to ask if the car was still available. It was and she told me the manager (Dillon) had pulled the key so I could test drive it. Upon arrival, I was met by Danny, he became our salesman. After a 45 minute test drive on every imaginable type of terrain I met with Dillon. In less than 5 minutes we had a deal. When I was leaving, I noticed a 4x4 truck on the lot. It was loaded with options. But that adventure will have to wait for another weekend.

I purchased a truck to use for hauling last month and the DEF system was having problems the first week my driver took the truck on the road. I took it to a RAM dealer and to repair the problem cost me almost $1200. I called Hickory Used Car and spoke with a sales manager by the name of Dan Mummert and explained to him the situation. He didnt hesitate to say that they dont conduct business that way, and he will mail me a check asap to cover the cost of the repairs since I had just recently purchased the vehicle from them. I just wanted to leave a review to say that this was very nice and considerate of them to do this and I will definitely buy another vehicle from them in the future.

When i got there greeted by man with no mask who took me to another with no mask and he put it on when i mentioned where i work. Just got our new dodge Durango. When we got it we noticed the rotors needed changing, they told us to bring it in and they would fix it, but when we did, all they did was turn them. Then we noticed that the air vents in the back wasnt working and the check engine light came on within the first few weeks of having it. So once again we brought it back in.. after being told we had to pay the deductible twice for both problems we were also told that our warranty happened to not cover the fix! So now we have to pay almost $700 to get the vehicle in the condition it should have been in when we took it off the lot. Not very happy at all at this point! Have one star because I couldnt do less. I would suggest to not buy a car from here, it seems like one problem after the next. But if you do, I hope your luck is better than ours!

James was awesome! When we pulled up to look at the 2019 Dodge Charger we saw online, he greeted us professionally. He was wearing his mask & practiced social distancing. He immediately was friendly and ready to get the ball rolling on test driving the car. After the test drive, we were in the office with him talking about what we’re willing to pay and going about the process. After getting a majority of the preliminary stuff done, we went back to finalize everything. There was no haggling or pushy feel to the process. We got what we wanted, for what we wanted to spend & all in a timely fashion (only there for 3 & 1/2 hours). We were even helped out by the person finalizing everything with getting a warranty just in case something were to happen in the next four years. They even gave top payout for our trade in. This place is a complete joke. Ran the credit through 11 different companies with a co-signer with a credit of over 700. Wanted to put $2000 down for a vehicle that is $13000. No update was gave ran credit 11 times and then said we need $4300. This should have been on the table for any credit was ran because we would have declined. Now credit dropped 33 points from this placing running credit for amount I would have never agreed to put down.

I went to trade in my 2017 Ford Explorer for another car. My intentions that I stated when I first walked my foot in the door that I wanted cheaper payments and they agreed with it and told me to look and see what they had which I did everything they had wouldnt be right. The salesmen Jeremy was not very well equipped with knowledge. Very unprofessional. After wasting my day they finally sent me home and told me to go and find the ways to finance my car and that he will give me a call the following day. Its going on day 2, Never got a call.

Would NOT recommend going here. Me and my husband dropped by after seeing a few trucks online. They were not quick to help, leaving us standing around a bit. When someone finally helped my husband he was very rude and condescending. Online the truck appeared to be great condition, in person the truck had rust bubbling under the rocker panels and a busted windshield. It also had rust on the bed, and surface rust of the frame. When this was pointed out, the salesman seemed annoyed and said things like then the truck just isnt for you then. He didnt even seem remotely interested in helping us find the right truck for us even though we were serious buyers. We only looked at the one truck before leaving even though we were interested in 3. Couldnt help but think he thought he was above us with the way he acted. Would give less than 1 star if I could.

First off I would like to say I waited over a week after purchasing the vehicle to leave a review. Upon contacting the dealership about a specific vehicle, I was asked multiple times if I could come look at the vehicle that day. Living over three hours away in the middle of a work week, I naturally couldn’t. I emailed my trade information in and after about six hours, I got some numbers back. The first salesman I worked with was terrible. Multiple times he told me he would call me right back and I never heard from him and ended up having to call back. We finally agreed on a price, and I told him I wanted to put a deposit, and I would be in on Saturday. After taking my deposit, he informed me the vehicle wasn’t even there. Apparently it was sitting at a dealership in IL. I was then assured it would be there Friday or Saturday morning at the latest. I called back Friday around lunch to get a firm time, and I was informed the hauler had backed out and they couldn’t get anyone to move the truck. The salesman was very rude and told me he could refund my deposit. I then called and spoke with a sales manager who was very polite and helpful. He agreed to send two drivers to pick up the vehicle. I ended up having to take a day off the following Tuesday to go pick it up. Upon arriving, I was met by Keith, who was as helpful and polite as he could be. Even though the vehicle was being registered in TN, they said it had to pass an inspection for NC to be sold. I was told this consisted of welding an empty catalytic converter on the exhaust. When I finally got to test drive the truck, I realized they had cut and destroyed the tint on the front windows and windshield. They had also broken the tuning switch. 8 days later and the truck is in the shop due to a cracked rotor and bad brakes. They managed to break a bunch of stuff, in the name of an inspection, but they let bad brakes slide through the cracks. (Priorities and all.) All in all, I paid over $50k for a truck, and it has cost me around $700 in a week already.

My wife and I were treated great. Jeremy and Bruce are superstars. Thanks for putting us in 2 vehicles in 12 days and a new battery a day later 👍🤘

I had such a wonderful experience! I was in the market for a specific Jeep Wrangler for over a year, but more seriously since January 2020. I found a few that I liked, but once Covid hit, I started working crazy hours at my job which didnt leave me much time to visit a dealership. I contacted a few dealers, but they pretty much refused to deal with me unless I could come in to test drive first, and then when I tried to make an appointment, Id get a response that the Jeep I was interested in was sold. I had a completely different experience at the Superstore. From the moment I contacted and explained my limited time and the dealership being an hour away, my salesman Rich Witherspoon was an amazing help. We discussed all the information about the vehicle and I was able to submit my credit app online so that we could come to an agreeable deal before I made the drive. Dillion (the finance guy) was also awesome as he was able to get me approved and sent over a few different options for loans and service contracts. The only thing left was to test drive and sign the paperwork if I liked it. My family and I made the hour drive, test drove and signed the deal. It took me longer to get in touch with my insurance company to add the Jeep to my policy than it did to buy it! The whole thing was quick and painless and I absolutely would recommend the Superstore to anyone!

Buying from this dealership was such a HEADACHE. It seemed like they really didn’t care about selling a car to me. Probably because I have bad credit and am younger so they assume I can’t pay. Well I did finally get approved and then after that it continued to be difficult. I got zero paperwork when I got the car just the little registration paper my name spelled wrong completely wrong address, but was told “oh it doesn’t matter.” Well ok fast forward a few WEEKS still no paperwork in the mail. I call “oh we don’t have your apartment number” well 1.I don’t live in an apartment 2. Why wasn’t I contacted about an issue? Fix the address “issue” and then another few weeks no paperwork. 11 days before my first payment due still no paperwork had to call again for it to finally be emailed to me. Idk if I just got unlucky and had a super hard time with them or what. But I wouldnt recommend

I bought my car almost 2 years ago and I swear to this day I bought a lemon. My car is fantastic it has everything anyone could want and it was all for the right price and then a couple months go down the road and things slowly started going out in it. I’ve already had the head and transmission taken care of, my check engine light is on more times than not because of recalls or something else had gone wrong however the worst of it all is my automatic windows are slow as ever and sometimes it takes 10 tries to get it rolled all the way up might I mention this is the driver side window. They are the nicest people ever, made me feel welcomed and like it was the right place to buy a car and it is except not when you buy a lemon unknowingly. Few months after I bought my car the sales guy who helped me was no longer there but who knows why. Now here I am vehicle hunting again because I could have already bought a new car with how much I’ve put into it and I still have an $8,000 loan. I just wish I knew what I was getting myself into when buying my car.

My Husband and I purchased our daughters first car here. A 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan. Its a super cute car, and the perfect size for a teenager. The problem is that the check engine light came as soon as we got it home from Hickory (to Gastonia). The check engine light has come on 3 times in the month that weve had the car. Frankly, think twice about what you purchase if you go here. If I could take time back, I would. Kandi Lewis, they own Everett Chevrolet also owns the Hickory Used Car Supercenter. I have emailed her and asked for an extension on the 30 day warranty because the Salesman is too lazy to bring the car back and pick up the loaner car! This has happened twice on a Friday bc the salesperson had something to do Friday night.Since selling us the car for our daughter, they have had the car more than she has! Shes 16, working 30 hours a week, a Junior in high school and a Varsity cheerleader. This is not fair to our daughter!! Im frustrated and sick to my stomach that they wont fix the problem on the car. They kept it for 6 days to replace a thermostat! And as soon as they dropped the car off, on empty btw, the check engine light came back on. My daughter had it checked at Auto Zone, and its still the thermostat !!!!Looks to me like someone said they fixed her car, but didnt. I welcome Hickory Supercenter to come get the car and fix it .I need to add to my review. I am absolutely disgusted with the fraudulent behavior of this dealership. My daughters car has been in the shop for 3 days. When HUCS said that they were going to fix the thermostat on the car, they actually drilled holes in the thermostat, and filled the holes with silicone! Anyone who knows anything about cars, knows you dont drill holes in the thermostat! There were several screws missing in the aftermarket part they used for the housing. The skid plate was also missing several screws! This place is beyond SHADY! Theh purposely endangered my daughters life!! Screw the money at this point, Im infuriated that my daughter could have been killed by driving a car that could have caught fire due to the jimmy-rigged service center. If you dont know how to work on a Volkswagen, DONT DO IT!!! This is costing me over $1000. AND THE TIRES ARE BAD!I plan on hiring an attorney and getting my money back, due to the negligence on the part of HUCS. There actions could have caused extreme damage to the engine of our vehicle, and it was done ON PURPOSE.The mechanics who are fixing the car are writing up a detailed evaluation of the damage that was done to the car by HUCS by jimmy rigging the car. Be extremely aware of any corrective action that this dealership does to your purchased vehicle!!!!!They have now taken down one of my photos showing the check engine light on on the dash board. Im going to repost!!

Bruce, Dillon, and Tyler are Great to work with! You have to look these guys up when you are looking for a new vehicle. They go out of your way to make you feel like one of the family. They take care of you even after the sell is complete. We have bought 3 vehicles from them and will continue to go back when we need more. Leave your worries at home and let these guys take care of you. They are for real!

We was looking for a suv and went to the Hickory Used car Superstore on a recommendation from a family member. From start to finish a pleasure to deal with. No pressure, straight forward deal. We drove 2 1/2 hours out of our way so getting pictures from Justin to ensure we could see as much of the car during quarantine was imperative. Very forthright. The manager, Dave, was also terrific to deal with. We were hesitant after having many negative experiences with other dealerships, but Randy Marion used cars restored my faith in buying a used car through a dealership.

Not such a great experience we waited about 45 minutes for an appointment waited about 30 minutes they are only to find out the car I was there to see was not on the property and would not be on the property for days.. That would be in a nice thing to tell us before making an appointment for us to see it.

Made an appointment the day before I went to there, I kept receiving confirmations that we were still coming to look at the truck. We have been looking a while for a truck and we were planning on buying that one the same day. We got to the appointment on time when they went to look for the truck it was gone. They had sent it to morganton before we got there. And they wouldn’t bring it back because someone else was test driving it. So we wasted a 45 min drive and then another 45 min back. If they were going to move the truck they should’ve called me before. But I received a confirmation that I was coming that same day. The guy we spoke to said he would call us back when he found something out. He never did I called back the next day and they said “oh it was sold yesterday “ We never received a call back or anything. We are extremely disappointed with the dealership. They didn’t even offer to help us find another truck to make it right. I will make it known to tell everyone I know to not go to the lot. They do not care about their customers.

Our buying experience was great here. Tewon was our salesman and he went above measures to make sure we were satisfied and taken care of. We ended up going home in a 2020 Chevy Equinox and couldnt be more happy with it.

Have had nothing but trouble since I bought a vehicle from here. Had a misfire that started during the test drive, that should have been my warning sign. Then a couple weeks after buying it it had a brake caliper lock up I contacted them about it and took a few days to even get a answer back whether it would be covered. Then the 30 day tag was about to go out so I started calling to find out where my tag was oh it was sent out the day after you bought it just wait its alright if its dead you will get your permanent tag soon, after it being out of date for a few days I finally got a answer that hey it was sent 2 weeks ago it must have been lost in the mail the state must have messed up. So I went to the tag office and had to buy another tag while there the tag office tells me hey it wasnt our fault they issue their own tags. So I call them out on it and I get a check back for it. I read some reviews when I had that issue and im not the only one to have that same tag issue. Now I have a coolant leak and have been trying to find out if it will be fixed under warranty. Called on 12/23/20 and talked to a James and told him the issue and how I can never get a call back from anyone there when I call and all the previous issues I have had. He tells me hey I will give a message to Bruce the manager and have him call you in the next 15-30 minutes. Here it is 12/28/20 and im still waiting on his call. I did get a text right after I got off the phone with James from my salesman Keith basically calling me a lair that if I texted him there would be a record of it, that he answers right away funny I waited 3 days to hear back on the brake issue. All they kept offering was for me to trade it in I have had it for 2 months I want it fixed not to go upside down in a loan. Nothing about fixing the issues. Horrible customer service.

Very unprofessional, complaining about other customers and bragging they left a bad Google score on their works Google reviews. How sad and petty, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all… will take my business elsewhere!

Highly recommend! Rich was amazing and patient. Our time spent there was easy and fast. Deals on the car was far better than other dealership that I have bought two car from them within a week. Super friendly and professional.
