New to area and looked around for a good eye doctor to renew my contact lens prescription. Had a few friends recommend Lakeshore Eyecare Center.The nurses are nice and made me feel welcomed.I had a very thorough contact lens exam at Lakeshore Eyecare Center. I always used monthly contacts and was asked if any interest on daily contacts.Best thing I ever did especially with my history of seasonal allergies and itchy eyes.I highly recommend it here!
One of the best Eyecare places Ive been to! Been going there for over 15 years now and cant think of one complaint. The staff is very helpful and respectful. Just got mh glasses and ars vert happy with them!
The staff is rude and unprofessional. They think that they are the best eye care center, they are very prideful people. I have found an office with WAY better staff and prices 🙄🙄

5/11/21 - First time here. I noticed they were doing an excellent job with covid precautions and sanitizing after every customer. Pleasant first time experience.*6/8/21 - still waiting on my glasses 🤔* it took over 4 weeks for my Rayban sunglasses to be ready. smhThey said it was due to customs. Lol yeah right.🤷♂️😎
Beware! If you have a “medical” condition like I supposedly have cataracts but have never been referred or had them treated. They charge your medical insurance and get hit with a $45.00 specialist co-pay. If I had known that I would have gone to a ophthalmologist, who is a specialist and had cataracts taken care of. I have been a patient for many years but this new group is not the same great care as the old group I will never return here.

Excellent... Best place to get glasses you can trust and rely on in Holland. Ive tried other places and the result was not even close to where it needed to be - I couldnt use the glasses.Staff is friendly, knowledgable and very helpful.I highly recommend.
I had trouble getting my safety glasses from another eye care center in town, so it was suggested at work I try Lakeshore. I dropped by at opening on a Saturday with my prescription and was immediately greeted by a receptionist who quickly obtained the needed info and asked me to take a seat at one of the many stations in their modern, sunny showroom. Their walls are practically made out of glass, giving a beautiful view of the outdoors. The technician was super-friendly and soon had me on my way. Check this business out for your eye care; Im glad I did.
Highly recommend this wonderful eye doctor for your next exam and pair of glasses! I myself am an employee here, and it’s absolutely amazing. The staff and eye doctors are so good at taking care of patients and putting their needs first. I had my eye exam done by Dr. Meengs who is one of the newest doctors here at Lakeshore Eye Care Center and he did an amazing job. I was very impressed. I can’t wait to purchase my first pair of glasses through this awesome business!😊😊

I’ve been going here for several years. Very happy with Dr. Jacquemin’s expertise. She is also very personable and takes time to explain things.The opticians demonstrate competence and are helpful.The billing staff were helpful and overall very kind and positive.The receptionist are kind but can be a little abrasive, exuding stress and appearing flustered every time I am in there. I think they need to smile and speak a little more gently, brushing up on their interpersonal skills.Thank you all!
My kids were new at the office. Super friendly staff and very patient with children. All the doctors are very thorough with diagnosis. Opticians take time to explain every need for each patient. Highly recommend your next exam at LEC.
The staff is ALWAYS rude and always conducts business with an attitude. They act as though that are the only Eyecare office in town. I will drive an hour away to see a provider as long as the staff is polite.Take your money somewhere else.
I wouldn’t recommend this place. They’re doctors are awesome and no complaints there, it’s just their office staff that completely ruins it for me.I got my glasses from here 3 year ago, I loved it and recommended it to my parent’s, but seeing how they handle things now currently I won’t be back to get new glasses there at all.My mother has had issues with their glasses for over a year now, and still can’t seem to get the issue fixed. They did change her frame after they recommended a different style specifically for her that would “help” her as she has a high prescription. Well, that style still causes her a lot of discomfort, and they told her that they can’t switch her to a different frame style again. She has no insurance, so she payed in full out of pocket for glasses that she can’t even wear due to the discomfort it causes on her. Plus, when she recently went to go get them readjusted they broke her glasses, and she’s not getting them back for another 3-4 days until the new frame get in which really sucks as that’s her only pair and she has to work.They use to be really good at taking care of you, but now they’re just ok. I wouldn’t give them any business, but that’s just my opinion.
Amazing! Staff is always helpful and respectful no matter what! Doctors are awesome as well! Been going there for over 10 years and not one problem! Love the new location and always a pleasure getting my eyes checked and picking out new glasses. Cant wait to pick some out soon!! 😜
Alex is great very helpful. And knowledgeable helped me pick out some very nice frames. Then introduced me to the manager. Jessica was awesome came and talked to me and made me feel like a worthy customer. Happy with everything will recommend to other people.
Super friendly staff, never been anywhere else for my eyecare and glasses. Recently theyve undergone a lot of staffing changes, so there are a lot of new people. They are all wonderful, but there are a few who are very new, so if you are working with them, its important to schedule extra time so you can be patient with them while they learn; dont schedule anything immediately after your appointment if you have to pick out a pair of glasses.Make sure that if you need to pick up your new glasses you pick them up after work and not before (1st Shift) because they say they open at 7:30, but they open much closer to 8:00 if they dont have any appointments in the morning - and at that point there will most likely not be any opticians there, just the office staff. You will be late to work and then have to leave early from work so you can make it back before they close!
One of my friends suggested me to go this place. They have nice service and very little waiting time if you get an appointment. People who work at this place are nice and caring.
I had a fantastic experience here. I went to Dr. Jacquemin for a second opinion on my contact prescription, and she was able to pinpoint options to work with me and get me seeing clearly again. The staff are all friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Ill gladly recommend them to anyone and everyone.
I was in and had an exam last week. The staff was very friendly, Dr. Jacquemin was super..she took time to explain everything and when I got my Contacts they were very helpful with giving me best deal.. My glasses are very stylish.. I get compliments all the time.. Lakeshore is an A+in my book..
Dr. Jacquemin is very thorough in checking eye health. She also does a great job of helping the patient find the right lens correction. I highly recommend her!
I was a new customer and was very happt with the service and care I received. They are all very friendly and took their time to explain everything to me.
The doctors do a good job. However their customer service and office staff are awful. I call and they tell me they will give me a call back. I never received a call back. All three times. Their billing and insurance personnel is a pain in the butt. Ive spent a month and many hours trying to clear up a bill and after numerous phone calls its finally taken care of. A bill I should have never been billed for. Im definitely not going back.
Have been a patient of l.e.c for years with no problems. They take almost all insurances This past year either they dont want my family as patients or they changed their policy on booking certain insurances, Ive called every day they are open for the past two weeks and Ive been told each time to call back the next day. If this doesnt get straightened out Ill have to find a new Dr.
Dr. Roubos checks and double checks and then shows me. He gives me a lot of confidence and shows his interest in keeping my eyes fit. We take our eyes too much for granted and Dr. Roubos is the doctor to trust them to.My experience with Lakeshore Eyecare is also a 5 Star. Dave Guevara is the best. I have new glasses and love them all because of David. (not my first pair of glasses from him) His suggestions, expertise, talents, and sincere care for me and how the glasses will look on me is very much appreciated. Being an Optician is not just a job to David. He lives it and I benefit from that.
Well when I went into the Holland location the first time to get an exam and my glasses, I was cut cut in front of 3 different times and had to wait almost a hour to check out and get some glasses picked out. The girl who was working the front desk at the time even told one of the other employees that she didnt know who to help first because everyone was just throwing patients stuff up on the desk. I sent in an online complaint on the website but go no response. I guess it didnt really matter to them. Have enough other patients I suppose. Then I went out to the Hamilton location to get my glasses (which I recueved), but they didnt have my sunglassss in yet. I had gotten the call that my sunglasses were in but was going to wait to pick them up due to my wife also ordering some sunglasses as well and we didnt want to have to make 2 trips. After my wife calling 3 times and them saying hers werent in yet, finally the last time they told her that her glasses didnt pass inspection and it would take a week or so longer. Would have been nice for someone to tell us that the first time. So I went to go and get my sunglasses. Went in told them what I was there for and they sat me down and I waited. I knew something was wrong when the guy came with 2 sheets of paper and no sunglasses. He asked me if I recieved my prescription glasses and I said yes and then told me that my sunglasses were never even made yet. They hadnt put the order in to even get them done. Needless to say I wouldnt recommend or ever go back to this joke of a doctors office again. Not only does it seem to me they dont care about there patients but the piss poor communication and organization isnt somewhere I want my information floating around. I will definetly be taking my business elsewhere.
Waited over 30 minutes for my eye exam before leaving. Dont remember the last time I or any of my family members were seen at our scheduled time. Time to take our business elsewhere. Too bad, because we like the selection of glasses they offer.
What a wonderful experience! I was a little nervous at first to have my eyes flushed but the clinical care staff made me feel so comfortable I actually plan on doing it again & Sending some Friends..Thanz so much Lakeshore Eyecare!!

Don’t ! My husband called and asked, ASKED if they took our United Healthcare insurance (this is a new plan for us this year), and they said YES! So he made an appt (had to wait 3weeks to get in, and no he wasnt a new patient) and the day before his appointment, the office called and said, sorry we do not take your insurance.If your looking for good service, competent staff, and an all around good experience... GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!We took my husbands daughter and son here years ago the staff was very snooty! The woman there make you feel as if they are better than you are. Just not very nice. Sometimes i got the impression i was a nuisance to them.GO SOMEPLACE WHERE THE STAFF WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT! someplace they will value you as a customer.

I have been a patient of this practice for many years, and have been a patient of several of the doctors there. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Roubos you can tell he truly cares about his patients, He takes the time to talk to you and explain to you if there is an issue with your eyes.
Very unpleasant experience they charge for service the you never ask Ill need exam for reading glasses and they charge for medical exam of what I dont know never recommend go somewhere
The opticians had split up, so they are transitioning, so the service really suffers as well as the quality of their service.
